Says "Complete" even if exit module early

I am new user to Captivate with a good desk-top publishing
knowledge but less IT/tech knowledge and have created an online
training course of 30 text pages with roll-overs and click boxes.
At the end is a 10 page quiz which the user needs a 70% passing
grade. I have followed the instructions of the outsourced company
where this module is loaded and set it up to report using SCORM but
users are getting module "Complete" messages when they actually
only read the first couple of pages and then had to exit for a
meeting or phone call. The only menu I can see that manages the
Complete/Incomplete status is on the Quiz Manager and this seems to
be either On or Off with no identification of how far through the
module is considered to be "Complete". Is there somewhere else or
some fix anyone knows of to ensure "Complete" is only reported if
the user actually goes all the way to the end and/or completes the
Quiz?

Each interactive object (click-box, button, text-entry-box,
or question-slide) can and must be set up to "Include in Scoring" -
or not. It is possible that some of the objects in your movie do
not have that option (to include) "checked", so the reporting
mechanism assumes the student is "done" when they reach the last of
hte (included) scoring objects. Just a guess . . .
I've noticed that all three of (your) posts today involve a
student leaving and returning to complete a learning module at a
later date or time. This would generally be considered poor
practice at best, and I would definitely consider making changes to
either shorten the Captivate modules so they can be completed, or
to lengthen the time allowed - and make it mandatory that the
assignment by completed. I DO realize this might not be possible,
but suggest it as a "best practice" whenever possible.
I also wonder if much of your problems with this issue aren't
really problems with the set up of your SCORM-compliant LMS and not
with Captivate??

    You should have received a code and a link to where to download it from. If you haven't then contact Apple Custoer Support. Lion does not come on a disk.

    i get teh above erro r msg when i am trying to open the crystal report rpt file in design mode
    i tried taking a new crysttal report but that too gives me same error msg

    Does it say what dll/module it can't find? Check the Application log for more info.
    What happens if you create a new report? What happens if you open an old report?
    Have you install any VS 2005 CR patches?

    I haven't kept records of the songs I have paid for, and a number of songs have recently been displaying this message, making me search my computer for them. Most I have been able to find, but this one immediately "disappeared" the moment I attempted to play it after downloading...... how do I either get it back or get my money back???

    How did you do this move?  Unless you know what you are doing you have to move the whole, complete iTunes folder.

    Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

  • DMEE exit module

    Hi All ,
        Currently I am working on a requirement where I have to create a DMEE format tree  for payments .
       And in this the requirement arises the need for mapping a value with the help of exit Modules .
       I created the Exit module with the interfaces as in DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE and even assigned this FM in the format tree events .
       Next when I am running the F110 transaction , I get an error log which describes
       " ABAP/4 processor: CALL_FUNCTION_PARM_MISSING " .
       I am not sure if the assignment of the exit module in the format tree is correct . 
      Kindly help me with the solution .

    Check the place in DMEE where your function module is assigned. Please check all the mandatory fields of FM i.e. I_TREE_TYPE, I_TREE_ID, I_ITEM, I_PARAM and I_UPARAM are assigned.

  • TS3992 My ICloud still says 'incomplete' even after I closed every app, then opened only Camera Roll.

    I'm trying to free up storage on my Iphone 4. When I attempted to move pictures/videos to my ICloud via backup, it's saying 'incomplete' even though I closed ALL apps (including Camera Roll, then tried again with it open)

    Unfortunately it like the problem is stored in your backup.  The only thing I can think of to do other than restoring your phone as new is trying to recover an earlier backup to restore to. If you backed up your phone by syncing with iTunes prior to this happening there's a chance you can recover the backup using Windows System restore (restoring to an earlier restore point) or mac Time Machine.  If it's there you will find it at one of the following locations:
    Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
    Windows XP: %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    Windows Vista: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    Windows 7: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    If you find it, put it on a flash drive and then revert your system back to its current status (by undoing System Restore or ending Time Machine).  Once done, copy this backup file to it's original location.  Then  disable automatic syncing in iTunes (Preferences>Devices>Prevent...from syncing automatically), connect your phone to your computer and save any recent pictures in your Camera Roll, right-click on it in iTunes and select Transfer Purchases (to save any new purchases), right-click again and select Restore from Backup chosing the older backup you just recovered.

  • IDVD 6 writes lead it, ejects disc, and says complete. whats wrong?

    I am using iDVD 6, and am trying to burn a 112 min movie, that i ripped, using handbrake, from a previously burned home movie, but every time it gets to "Writing Lead In" it stops, ejects the disc and says complete.
    I click the continue button and it says 'cleaning up' then stops working.
    Whats wrong with iDVD? What can I do to fix the problem?
    Also, I've had the same problem in the past, with other projects not related to this one.

    What brand of DVDs ?
    DVD-R or +R or +/-RW ?
    Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk ? (Other hard disks don't count at all)
    *Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows:*
    • Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
    • Hard disk is untidy: Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple Disc Util tool)
    • Delete iDVD pref file - *or rather start a new user/account* - log into this and re-try
    • Program miss-match: iDVD 5.0.2, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK - DON’T work under Leopard
    • Program miss-match: iDVD 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
    • Program miss-match: iDVD’08 v. 7.0.1, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
    • iDVD (08) v7 Locate theme folder. Move out iDVD1, iDVD 2 and eventually iDVD4 folders to desktop - re-try
    • Try a Cleaning CD/DVD that cleans the laser lens on the DVD burner/player
    iDVD 6.0.4 and iDVD 7.0.1 are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
    iDVD pref file resides: Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences and is named:
    com.apple.iDVD.plist
    While iDVD is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
    Now restart iDVD.
    Last resort: from Craig: Solved the problem!! Finally!!
    I deleted every iDVD application and folder from my boot drive,
    emptied the trash and then installed iDVD 08 using the customize option
    and I am up and running.

  • HELP ON DMEE EXIT MODULE

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to convert the value in the AMOUNT field based on the content of a field RESERVED in the file. So I have deifined an exit module in the Mapping tab of the Amount field which is of the form
    DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE_IN_MAPPING. However, the export parameter E_VALUE has the value when it leaves the FM but in the end when I generaete the file. I see no value in the file. I.e. I get empty spaces. Ideally there should be negative amount in the file. 
    Can someone counsel me in this regard please.

    in ur program, ur calling this FM and may be u have specified another field name in the export parameter. This field will hold the value returned from the FM. you need to use this field while generation of data.

    Can you run the batch File into the CMD on Window 2003? Exit Code 1 implies that there is a script error, suggested to check the commands and the syntax are correct and the scripts deal with any error condition.

    I have a similar problem than sam6sam had except that I'm on Safari. After the Mountain Lion security update I did last Friday, I had to update Flash. I installed .149, deinstalled, restarted, reinstalled .149 about 2 dozens times and it didn't work. Yesterday I saw that you had .167 and thought "finally they will have fixed this issue". After doing the same deinstall restart and install routine another dozen time, I give up!

    It looks like it's installed. When I go into System Preference Flash Player shows "Plug-in version 11.6.602.167 is installed.", yet when I want to see a flash video it tells me that I don't have the software and need to install it. My Safari Preferences allow for Pop-up and Enable Plug-in. My "open 'safe' files after downloading" is clicked.
    I've search all of Adobe, Apple and other geeky website's "help" area, and nothing I tried worked, including the "sudo" commands in the terminal (the answer to this one is "command not found").
    I'm really frustrated by this. There is certainly something that I overlooked, but I cannot figure it out. Help!
