My Facebook games say that I need to install flash player in order to play the games, but my windows phone says it doesn't support flash player

You need to check with Window to see what alternative they have for Windows phone to use in place of Flash Player.

    Mdjohnson99,
have you followed the steps on this Adobe page?

  • We are getting a pop up that says we need to install flash player plug in. we tried everything, nothing works

we can't play any games. it says we need to install additional plug in, for flash player. when we attempt to install, it says we already have the newest version installed. but nothing works. can not find the install anywhere. we had a computer person working on it and she could not figure it out. she tried everything. Do we need to uninstall firefox and reinstall it?

Could you review your plugins list and see which (if any) Adobe/Shockwave plugins you have now:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins category
When you go to the following download page and choose "Flash Player 11 for Other browsers" and download the installer, what is the actual name of the file that gets saved?
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
    Mine's called "install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih.exe"
Occasionally software installs are not completed until you restart Windows. You might want to try that at some point if you haven't already.
Adobe has a cleanup tool described in this article where you can scrub out all Flash versions and start again. [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems]]
I do not recommend uninstalling Firefox.
You can refresh your Firefox installation or update to Firefox 20 by running the Firefox installer. You do not need to remove the old version first. You can get that download here:

  • Installed Flash Player But Wont work

Was trying to view a video on ESPN.com and it told me to install the latest version of Flash Player, I have installed the latest version of Flash Player but it seems as if my MAC hasnt truly installed the software. Any Suggestions?

still no Luck, I have run the installer and the un-installer and re-installed and still no luck. This is becoming a headache.
Have you ran the OnyX cache cleaning routine?
    See $12 here
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3353
Flash has a cache file that remains, it likely corrupted and that's why it might not be working.
You can manually find this file using the free EasyFind and delete it with all of Flash components and try installing again.

  • I have installed flash player but the computer does not recognise it

I have installed flash player 11 and checked it is installed on my compuer.
But if I try to play any media it says I need to install flash player.
I went to your website at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and got this message.
I have tried uninstalling flash player and then trying again, restarting computer etc. But the computer will not play any media in IE.
If you go to the control panel the player is installed. But thigs like iplayer do not recognise it as being installed.

The message is clear: "Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled".  Did you check if it's enabled:

  • I just bought a new computer and when i click on itunes it says i need to install ASL.dll, but i'm scared if i instal it or reinstall itunes i will lose all the music i've bought from itunes, what do i do?

HHHHHEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i just bought a new computer and when i click on itunes it says i need to install ASL.dll, but i'm scared if i do or re-install itunes i will lose all the music i have bought from itunes, what do i do?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
The music is stored on the iTunes library. This library isn't deleted when you uninstall or reinstall iTunes, so you will keep everything. Anyway, it's better to make a backup of the library. Apart from that, you can download the purchased music as many times as you want

  • Help needed to install Flash Player : 'Non-Current Release' problem!

I been encountering problems while trying to install Flash Player on my laptop running Windows 7.
Originally Flash Player does not work as I understand it is not supported on 64-bit Internet Explorer.
After installing 32-bit IE, the following issue of 'non-latest version' arises and all installation were aborted by the application :
The below were steps I had taken to no success.
    1.  Via the 32-bit browser, downloaded flash player un-install program and did the uninstallation with success.
    2.  Rebooted the laptop.
    3.  Via the 32-bit browser, downloaded the flash player version 10.0.45.2 from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer.
    4.  After downloading it automatically did the installation with 100% completion.
    5. The program proceeded to activate the flash player with a webpage saying if the flash player is working properly, I should see a video and Flash Player's logo.
    6.  Before anything was displayed, an error message popped up to say I was trying to install a non-current version and that I should go to same webpage to download the latest version. The activation was then aborted.
Tried many times but always encountered same problem and hence cannot proceed to use the flash player.
Need assistance to diagnose the problem and to get Flash Player working on my laptop. Appreciate any help to get it working.
    Regards.

Thanks to efforts of eidnolb and Bob, the installation of flash player into my laptop is now working .
Bob's installer enabled the download successfully.
Eidnolb's link in post 6 trigggered me that I may have previously installed the pre-release version 10.1, thereby leading to the 'non-current-version' problem too. Post in that link adviced to uninstall 10.1 using the pre-release uninstaller.
I suggest others who had encountered this non-current release to uninstall first using that specific uninstaller, before attempting to install the most current release. I may have installed the 10.1 pre-release in desperation after failing numerous times trying to figure out why flash player does not install in browser not knowing its currently-non-support of 64-bit browser.
Once again thanks for support, eidnolb and Bob.
    Cheers.
    Kelvin
