Interesting. I tried one more time - instead of saving it to my hard drive, I ran it directly off the Mozilla site and it installed....
Something is definitely wrong with the Mozilla "save as" and THEN run process....

I click 'run' and after it is done loading a window pops up saying 'can not create temp folder archive' So basically it won't let me download mozilla. What do I do to fix this?

Tried to run firefox as usual but the the page could not connect the server. Thus, uninstalled the browser and tried to install a newer version. Could not run the program and error msg "can not create temp folder archive" popped up.

7-zip can not create temp folder arcive
after downloading and running the download the dialog box woz
7-zip the message woz can not create the temporary folder archive.After much messing around and frustration, I finally solved the problem by (1) uninstalling 7-Zip; (2) rebooting the computer; (3) reinstalling 7-Zip; (4) creating a 'temp' folder in the 7-Zip program; and (4) running the installation of Firefox directly from the download page instead of downloading it first onto my computer and running setup from the downloaded file. Worked like a charm.
FWIW: strangely enough, uninstalling 7-Zip and rebooting the computer did not get rid of the '7-Zip' error message when trying to install Firefox. I know next to nothing about how computers' innards work, but it struck me as bazaar that uninstalling 7-Zip and rebooting the computer didn't at least get rid of the 7-Zip error message.

Can not create activity for a workspace in the DTR
Hi there,
I am trying to get familiar with the DTR which comes with the WAS 6.40 SP9.
I figured out how to create a workspace. Now I try to create a project at this workspace. Therefore an activity is necessary. The NW Developer Studio (perspective DTR with admin-plugin activated) tells me that an activity was created but there is none.
Thus, i tried to create an activity with the DTR Shell. At first the shell tolds me that an activity was created but a second later it showed me the following error:
Could not create the requsted activity.Set client properties on activity failed: Internal Server Error.
I tried to find some logfiles and at the SAP Management Console at the database i found an error which occurs when i try to create an activity:
ERR 51080 SYSERROR -9041 BD Index not accessible
Have anybody an idea how to solve this problem?I guess you are using MaxDB as the database.
The error message indicates that some database indexes could have got corrupted in your database.
To check this, you the MaxDB Database Manager. Go to
Instance->Tuning->Index Use. Provide the table owner (SAP<SID>DB) and click on 'Search' on the tool bar. It lists you all the indexes for the owner. The last column shows if there are any bad indexes.
If indeed there are bad indexes, then you can recreate them via Instance->Recovery->Index. Provide the table owner, table and index name and click on 'Recovery'.
