If you right mouse and select Get info it will show you the Apple ID used to purchase these songs.
Usually the name of an apple id is based on the email. So knowing that you may have forgotten the Apple ID password.

Anwering invitations to attend meetings is not possible. Error says Icloud cannot find the page, whenever I try to aceept a meeting by responding the email notification...Any ideas?.

I am using Icloud and previous mobile me. Now I cannot respond to meeting invitations coming in to my email. I get an error saying (when clicking accept) "Icloud cannot find the page". I have also problems with making meeting invitations in my calender when adding attendees and sending to their email. They never get the invitation. Any ideas?

Firefox will not load pages but Internet Explorer (IE) will.

When tethered to my Android phone, Firefox (ver. 8.0) will not open most webpages, but Internet Explorer (ver. 9.0) will. I say Firefox will not open "most" pages because, oddly enough, it WILL open https pages, but NOT regular http pages. When I try to open any regular http webpage in FF, I see in the status bar the usual "looking up..." and "connecting to..." messages, but then all I get is a completely blank white screen. I get no error messages whatsoever, only this blank white browser screen.
When NOT tethered, FF works as normal when browsing to both https and regular http webpages.
Why would Firefox open secured https pages but not unsecured http pages?
As part of my attempts to diagnose/resolve this issue, I completely wiped/reformatted my harddrive and reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and both FF8 and IE9.
Also, the issue arises regardless of which tethering method I use on my Android phone. That is, it happens whether I connect my computer wirelessly or via USB.
Lastly, the issue arises even when all add-ons are disabled and even uninstalled. I made sure to try the tether capability as I was reinstalling FF, before installing any add-ons and the issue persisted.

The problems are getting worse. I think I will have to give up on Firefox and go with the Google browser. No problems with IE just firefox and I can't take it anymore.

Cannot access my Optus account, but Internet explorer can

Hi, Using firefox I cannot access my Optus "My Account", to look at the details of my bills and amend/add to my profile. As soon as I am taken to the page where I should fill in my username & password I get a popup saying "Session already expired", before I have done anything. Don't have this trouble if I use Internet Explorer.
I can access all other Optus fields in Firefox. i.e. Home Page, My Usage, Mobile, Web Mail, Yes Tickets.
Any answers?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Firefox keeps saying can't connect to server for every site but internet explorer can

I was using firefox before and it worked fine. But then yesterday firefox updated itself and since then it wouldn't work. its not the firwall, not a proxey problem, I had uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that didn't work either. Internet explorer still works and so does the wireless for the laptop but just for my desktop firefox doesn't work. Now everytime I open firefox or try any other site it says "can't connect to the server at ..." what do I do.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Can't open Gmail in Firefox but Internet Explorer can!

Though my browser deletes everything before it exits out I didn't take any chance and ran CCleaner and in-spite of this I can't open Gmail. Mozilla says Untrusted Connection! Gmail opens fine on Internet Explorer. There are some other websites as well that do not open here. All this started after the last automatic update. Can you guys find a solution for me?

After that, insert the DVD and upgrade. The disc will install Mac OS X 10.6.3, so open  > Software Update to update to 10.6.8. You may need to run Software Update again after updating in order to install iTunes 11.0.1, so you will be able to sync the iPhone

what computer do you have, a Mac?
Right click the file and select Properties or Get Info and tell us what file type they are.
Where did you get the videos, purchased the disc, from a friend, downloaded from the internet?

Firefox is unable to connect to the internet but Internet Explorer can.

My Firefox is not loading any websites. When I open Firefox, the home screen comes up (google), but if i try to navigate to any other website it says that it cannot connect. I then tried inernet explorer and it works perfectly. I tried all the options on the Firefox Help page (checking the firewall, proxy..) but it still doesnt work.

From another computer, go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/, click "Free download" button, click "Save File" button, select your flash drive in "Save as" window. "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" file will be saved in your flash drive.
You just need to insert it in your new computer and double-click on "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" from Windows Explorer and follow instructions.

FireFox won't load pages, but IE explorer can.

This happens at random times when I have 2 separate windows open. When I'm trying to load a page, the browser either won't load or it's taking too long to respond to the connection. The only way I can resolve is by closing and open FireFox. But then I have to forcefully close the exe file under task manager(in which I don't like to do in most cases.) or restart my PC and it's really becoming annoying.
Any permanent solutions for this? Thanks in advance.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

My 2nd gen works fine with WPA2 and AES encryption.
You may need to go back and start over. Reset the router back to factory defaults, log on as the admin, set up security, DHCP, and make sure the IP address pool has enough IP addresses to lease to ALL of the computers/devices that will connect to that the router.

When you click on the WiFi network name, have you also provided the password for accessing the network? You should get a dialogue box asking you for the security information the first time you connect.
If you are not able to connect, you might want to go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
Then go back to Settings > WiFi and select your network name again and make sure the security information is now entered correctly.
If you still cannot connect, power down the router, wait a few minutes, power up the router, with the iPad powered down the whole time, and after the router has had several minutes to stabilize power up the iPad. See if it now connects correctly.

you may be connected to the wireless network but the question is the internet working properly on the wireless network...
what i mean is that i can make a wireless network without the internet so i can save and share files and have other devices connected to the same network access them... but you have to make sure that your internet it running properly... may have to reconfigure the router is your using PPPOE or if it was working prior to your post then try to restart your modem... that usually resolves most issues.
