Please Close The Following Program to Continue "CORE"
Trying to dwonlaod Flash Player 11.4 for Windows 7 and continue to get an error. Please close the following program to continue "Core". I have no idea what "core" is?
Please Help
CM44032To continue with the installation, you shouldn't have any application that uses Flash Player opened. Go to Task Manager (by pressing Control + Alt + Delete keys together and selecting Task Manager) and see if you have any application that uses Flash Player.
Also, just try the following:
1. Please download Flash Player from the following link. http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header
2. Restart the machine.
3. Double-click the downloaded file.

If anyone else is having the issue where the Flash install is asking you to close Safari when you know it's closed, try this:
1. Open activity monitor: Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor
2. Find a process called WebkitPluginAgent and force that to quit.
3. Then retry the flash install.
The above solution fixed the problem for me in OS X 10.10.1 . You can force it to quit by clicking the X in the upper left corner of the Activity Monitor window. After selecting WebkitPluginAgent. -
"Please close the following program...Safari."
Each time I try to install Adobe Flash Player a box appears stating "Please close the following programs to continue...Safari.
I have tried closing Safari and I still get this notice. You need to actually terminate the application, not just close the window. See How do I quit Safari (or another browser/app) in OS X.

Updating InDesign "Please close the following applications to continue"
Hi! I’m trying to update InDesign through my Creative Cloud connection, but I get the following error message:
InDesign CC Update
Please close the following applications to continue:
- InDesign (Adobe InDesign CC)
Below this message are the buttons “Cancel” and “Retry”. Even though my copy of InDesign is not running, I still get this message when I click on the Retry button, and it continues to appear each time I select Retry. Clicking on Cancel has the same result: the error message will continue to appear!
Is there anything I can do to remove this message and update InDesign? On my CC Updater window, all my applications are show as being up to date, except for InDesign, which is show as “canceling”.
Thanks in advance,

Giving away the following programs.
So I got a free intel starter pack that I don't plan on using. The following programs are up for grabs....
Post below for the program you wish to take.
One program per person, per 24 hours. After 24 hours of requesting a program, you may make another request till I run out of programs.
I only got ONE key for each of the following programs. So if someone requests a program, don't bother asking for the same program.
