SB audigy zs missing installation support f

hello:Im super frustrated with my sound and video problem with this sb audigy zs card. I uninstalled any and all audio programs and drivers under add remove programs and under device manager (sound, video and game controllers). and disabled my onboard audio card. Im running xp home. when I finally was ready to install the audigy again it stopped in the middle and said the following:Installation support file could not be found so access is denied.File name was:C:\DOCUME~\Carol\LOCALS~\Temp\{47B8A42E-6874-48-AC2A-687DB3EA2965\_IsUser.dll?Wow what a file to write let alone find. This whole thing started because im trying to learn video editing and I was having a heck of atime capturing anything via usb and DV to fire wire.Any help is greatly appreciated. The Nurse : )?

I think somewhere on the board is a link to D/L the ISO for the ZS cd.
If you cant find it I can rip you a copy of my CD. Email me.
PS: I li've in Brisbane Australia, where are you at as I cant send it over seas.

  • I can't download itunes.  It says I am missing apple support.  What do I need to do?

When I go to download ITunes to my PC running Windows 8 it gets all the way to the end and says I am missing Apple support.  I must re-install and install again. I have done this and still no luck.  I have also tried installing through Firefox and it didn't work.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the above steps haven't helped try installing:
    iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for a 32-bit core program, similar to previous 64-bit releases of iTunes, or roll back to:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)
    as appropriate.

  • MacBook Pro Retina Missing HDCP Support

Hello, with the new Mac Book Pro Retina (latest software updates) I can't play within iTunes any videos / previews. "Missing HCDP support of the display" stated, but no external monitor attached. ReInstalled everything, still the same issue. I can hear the sound, but can't see any picture and the computer freezes for a couple of minutes... any idea? Thanks!

I had this same problem.  What worked for me- not sure which one did it, but I went to System Preferences-Displays, and I turned off "Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available" and I also changed my resolution from "Best for retina display" to scaled "More Space".  The other scaling options seemed to do similar.

  • [SOLVED] Missing LADSPA support and bs2b in mpv

I'm missing LADSPA support in mpv. (I know that mplayer2 supports it, in general.) Specifically, when I run mpv the following way, I get an error message:
    $ mpv --af=ladspa=/usr/lib/ladspa/cmt.so:amp_stereo:1 some.avi
    Option af: ladspa doesn't exist.
Error parsing option af (option parameter could not be parsed)
    Setting commandline option --af=ladspa=/usr/lib/ladspa/cmt.so:amp_stereo:1 failed.
    Exiting... (Fatal error)
(The path to the LADSPA plugin exists on my system.)
    I tried this:
    $ mpv --af=help
    Available audio filters:
    dummy : dummy
    delay : Delay audio filter
channels : Insert or remove channels
    format : Force audio format
volume : Volume control audio filter
    equalizer : Equalizer audio filter
    pan : Panning audio filter
    surround : Surround decoder filter
sub : Audio filter for adding a sub-base channel
    export : Sound export filter
drc : Dynamic range compression filter
extrastereo : Increase difference between audio channels
lavcac3enc : runtime encode to ac3 using libavcodec
lavrresample : Sample frequency conversion using libavresample
    sweep : sine sweep
    hrtf : HRTF Headphone
center : Audio filter for adding a center channel
    sinesuppress : Sine Suppress
karaoke : Simple karaoke/voice-removal audio filter
scaletempo : Scale audio tempo while maintaining pitch
    lavfi : libavfilter bridge
convert24 : Convert between 24 and 32 bit sample format
convertsignendian: Convert between sample format sign/endian
While man mpv suggests that LADSPA might be supported, it looks like it is actually not, at least not for the current community/mpv 0.3.5-1 release. I looked it up and this site suggests that there is a ladspa flag for compilation which, I presume, has not been used/enabled for compilation here.
EDIT: I just tried the bs2b filter and it fails just the same way:
    Option af: bs2b doesn't exist.
Error parsing option af (option parameter could not be parsed)
    Setting commandline option --af=bs2b=profile=default failed.
    Exiting... (Fatal error)
So, did I forget to install something? Or is it a compilation problem?
Last edited by itektur (2014-03-13 13:11:13)

    It's a compilation problem
    I have:
    $ mpv --af=help | egrep "ladspa|bs2b"
    ladspa : LADSPA plugin loader
    bs2b : Bauer stereophonic-to-binaural audio filter
And during compilation, you should see:
Checking for LADSPA plugin support : yes
Checking for libbs2b audio filter support : yes

  • Win98, 1.4.0_01: 'installation support file ... interface' problem

When installing Java 1.4.0_01 under Windows 98 through the self-extracting executable (both the international and non-international runtime environments, and the SDK) I get the following error message (soon after the splash screen appears; right after files are checked and unpacked):
'An installation support file could not be installed. Interfaz no registrada [Non registered interface?]'
Following the installation guide I went to InstalShield's support page and checklisted through article Q104985 without success (only thing I couldn't do was execute DCOMCNFG because of some issue regarding user level security but I don't expect the problem to lie there). JRE version 1.3.1_03 installs correctly, so I am not in a great hurry, since I don't expect to run state of the art programs in the Pentium 166 I am setting up, but it would be a relief if anyone could enlighten me about potential ways of solving the issue. Thank you.
    Gonzalo Higuera.

I have solved the problem I asked about at the top of the thread, but not the way I would have liked to: my conclusion is that it was because of an unstable operating system installation, but that still leaves open the reasons why the installation failed (specially when the older version installed without problems) and whether there was any alternative to this extreme procedure.
The way I fought the problem was by doing a clean reinstallation (formatting the system and all). The reasons why I did this were twofold:
1.- I had just begun setting up the system, so starting from scratch was only mildly painfull.
2.- I had installed Internet Explorer 6 with the default options and that had brought Outlook Express into the system. Preferring other mail clients (and admittedly, somewhat scared by the security risks it might pose if it were to be used) I decided to uninstall it (after the problem with the JRE). Bad idea: after bootup there was a registry warning and a couple of blue screens and resets afterwards I found that half of the configuration had gone astray and that there were obvious malfunctions (for instance, the Explorer did not show any longer the directory tree although View->Explorer Bar->Folders was selected).
    Gonzalo Higuera.
When reinstalling Windows 98 I decided to take the 'Personal' installation, as usual, but after seeing the behaviour of the system when uninstalling Outlook I decided to include it in the installation from the very beginning. Miraculous! A registry issue I had had while installing Windows dissappeared, when installing drivers it no longer defaulted to saying my CD-ROM was on some obscure folder in the hard drive, and some other minor issues dissappeared.
After that I installed some other software before attempting to try the 1.4.0_03 JRE, but I think I did it in the same order as with the prior installation, so it seems to me that the absence of Outlook Express (even if it is an optional element during the installation of Windows and of Internet Explorer updates) caused some inner misconfigurations which ended with the problem described at the beginning of the thread. Thus, I recommend the complete installation of the Internet Explorer + Outlook Express bundle, even if it is not going to be used. I doubt that their presence is necessary for the proper functioning of other applications, but my experience has taught me that the faulty installation procedure of these products can have fatal consecuences on the stability of the system.

  • Missing application support for download

I have lost my itunes and have tried unsuccessfully several times to uninstall, following the steps given of the component programs with itunes, but now I receive a statement after reinstalling that says Error 2, missing apple application support.  How can I overcome this?  I have installed all updates with windows as well, and rebooted the computer each time.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Java 7u51 "Missing installer.dll".

    Hi,
There appears to be a mistake in update 51 when dealing with silent installs(both 32 and 64bit versions).
In this particular case we are updating from 7u45 to 7u51(previous updates leading up to u45 have worked perfectly)
We have been successfully updating JRE for some time now on roughly 1000 systems. However Update 51 fails consistently.
Both methods(.exe or MSI) fail with the same "File missing C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\Jre7\Bin\\installer.dll"
Notice the "\\" part - that really is part of the error message.
    Help please.
    Regards,
    Russ.

    Hey Russ
I dont think that using the MSI is supported any more.
I've been distributing Java for 10+ years now and have also always extracted the MSI (and this WAS supported earlier) https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/deploy-sysadmin.xml check the MSI Install link (supports v. 6)
The problem is, that the MSI only seems to be a container that contains a zip file and like. The actual install is done via a custom action in the MSI. Not my idea of a real MSI.
Using the EXE directly using https://www.java.com/en/download/help/silent_install.xml seems to work. Not perfectly.. but better.

    Christian

  • Missing application support folder or how to recover a folder

    Hi,
I've searched the forum and see a lot of information on missing files/photos/operating systems/applications, but I've been unable to find information to help me recover my "Application Support" folder. It is usually in System>Library but now its not there and I have no idea where it went. I've searched in finder and nothing has come up. I've tried the same within Time Machine but I suppose its possible that the folder has been lost since before my backup.
    Does anyone have any advice?
    Thanks!

It is usually in System>Library but now its not there and I have no idea where it went.
It should be in /Library/ and ~/Library/, but not /System/Library/.

  • Missing Installer when I download Flash 10.0.32.18.

It appears that the flashplayer-installer is missing and all I get when I download the latest Flash is the libflashplayer.so file.  If anyone else is having the same problem, I was able to install this using the installer from an older version 10x.
Why is this not included in the download anymore?

Forgot to mention that this is in the tar.gz download for Linux.

  • Missing installer component NI-VISA Runtime

We use the LabWindows/CVI 2010 Version 10.0.0 (360) and have installed the new runtime from the installer package 5.0.3.31.
With different projects on different computers we have the same problem: The NI-VISA runtime can not be included in the installation package. With older projects which have been already distributed we get the error message when opening the tab "Drivers & Components" and click on the red entry for the visa runtime: "This component is not installed on this system, and cannot be included in distributions built on this machine". Reinstallation of the NI-VISA runtime does not help. The installation is visible in the MDF File and the registry (distributions and products). With a new project the entry NI-VISA runtime does not appear on the "Drivers & Comnponents" tab.
What went wrong? We are not able to create any distribution at this moment.

The items shown in the Drivers & Components tab are enumerated from the contents of the <program files>\National Instruments\Shared\MDF\Manifests directory. If you have NI-VISA 5.0.3 installed, you should have a file in that directory named 'NI-VISA Runtime 5.0.3 {85BA3FCF-AA00-4151-B97D-84A221E8198A}.xml'. From your experience, I would guess that maybe this file is somehow missing. That would be especially strange, given that you have uninstalled and reinstalled, but it seems to be the most logical explanation. I am attaching a zipped copy of that file here as a replacement, in case you are missing it. If you already have the file, or replacing it does not solve your problem, it will be handy to look at the debug build log. You should attempt to build the distribution, then after it prompts you and you abort, look for the file <user temp dir>\distBuildDbg.log and post it in your reply.

  • Missing "Application Support" folder in home library (OS 10.6)

So about 6 months ago my old Macbook (from 2006, running OS 10.5.8) finally bit the dust for the last time with a fried logic board. However, this time the hard drive was perfectly functional, so I rescued it from the laptop before trading in the rest of the parts to get a discount on a new Macbook Pro (running OS 10.6.8).
Because the hard drive is still functional, I'm using a hard drive reader to transfer over all my files and information to the new laptop. Everything is there on the old drive, except one key component. I'm missing the "Application Support" folder from my home library (~/Library), which contains a lot of important settings for several applications I use (such as Firefox, an MSN messenger clone I use, etc). I've tried connecting the hard drive reader several times, and each time that folder is missing when I open up the home folder Library.
This folder was clearly there and functioning when the hard drive was still in my old computer. So my question is, where did it go? Is there any way of accessing it with the hard drive reader? Is it gone because of some kind of corruption, and why is it just that folder in particular that's missing? Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated, since the missing settings contained information that will be very difficult, if not impossible to replace.
    Thanks!

Disk Utility will do a verify/repair of an external disk. Though the chances of this being disk corruption is imo slim. For only one subfolder of of one folder to get clobbered due to a hardware failure while possible is extremely remote.
Try the Disk Utility repair function if the directory is collbered that should recover it (or at least let you know that there is an issue with the drive).
    good luck

  • Equalizer for Audigy Live Missing !! ( was there before)

    8Equalizer for Audigy Li've Missing !! ( was there before)T Hello
I change my computer so I reinstall my drivers.
Problem is I scratch my Cd that was sold with my card ( it says Audigy sound blaster 24bit on it). So I Thought no probelm I just download from the net the drivers but big problem then !! No Equalizer is provided in the driver I installed from the internet !! And then I cant find them !
I tried to manually copy the /program file/creative/equalizer/*.* of my old computer to the new one, but after complaining about missing dll in /system32 then It just doesnt start.( I did copy the missing dll it was requesting but now it just doesnt lauch).
Where can i download : the whole audigy CD , or the equalizer setup progam? Why is it not included in your web drivers ?
Im on XP sp3. (both old and new computer)
my card is an audigy Li've!
    thank you.

<? hello thank you for your link but none of those worked ( even the called SB 24 , and audigy ). So i connected a new dvd dri've and was finally able to read my damage cd and install the drivers. It's a real pity creative dont publish their drivers !! My card was an OEM , so without box then the least they can do is to provide drivers/equalizer on their site. Equalizer is not an " add on" it's the minimum you can request from the card !! (Next time i'l buy a realteck they are so easy to install from the net! )
So my cd ID is ( disk.id):
    Sound Blaster Audigy
    SBA-SIS2D--LB
    QS:07280
    R6
Then the product : you dont even know what you own ! sometimes in application like FL studio it says you have a SB Li've !, but on the creative tool it says audigy .. There isnt any program that can check the rom or something from the card to tell you exactly what your card is.
Very dissapointed. wont buy that again.
