SB Live! CT4780 Front Panel Au

I want to recognize front audio panel pinouts
In specifications I find
On-Board Connectors:
Line Level Out (front) / Headphone Out
Line Level Out (rear)
But there is no similar pinots on card
Plz help
P.S. I don`t have manual

yeah totally.
Power is connected properly - hence the hiss. The cable is also connected properly. One thing may be the problem, it seems as if one of the pins on the front panel has been and subsequently broke off. But this is only pin, is this a trainsmash?

  • How to stream live on front panel by given browser url

    Hi,
I have an IP Camera which can be viewed online through a given url.
However, i am stuck trying to display the live stream on my front panel. DAQ-Max is not needed because the camera is already integrated to software.
Attached is my VI so far, and here is the website:
    http://153.20.39.66:8051/
Click on mobile mode to see the live video stream.
However there is an error at the "READ JPEG file" when i run the VI. I dont really understand the error?
I just need to link the VI's  front panel to the live stream video via url. How do I do that? Thank you in advance!

  • Front panel audio to sb live audigy2

    hi all
i got a new tower case with front panel audio (mic, headphone, audio-in & audio-out)is there a way to pin these to my li've audigy2 zs? i've got the onboard audio turned off in the bios so i'm assuming the motherboard pins won't work with this turned off, and i'd much rather pass everthing thru my soundblast card. i don't need all the extra stuff the "li've dri've" has (too bad creative does not make a basic li've dri've with, mic, headphone, audio-in & audio-out and usb & firewire ports).
    thanks for any help

  • How can I display a changing variable in a subvi on the front panel of the main vi as the subvi is excuting

In the document attached the vi on the right is sub to the vi on the left. On the subvi on the right the variable "Field Reading" is continuously updated on the front panel of the subvi as the "for" loop is executed, but only the last value of the variable is updated on the main vi front panel which is what is expected. My question is how can I display the changing value of "Field Reading" on the main vi front panel as the "for" loop in the subvi is running?
    Thank you.

Hopefully I can explain it well enough. It really is simple.
    1) Create an empty global variable and call it something like User Interface References.vi
    2) For each and every control and indicator on your front panel, right-click and select Create/Reference
    3) Place these references wherever you like (I use a series of Event cases to perform my initialisation and these all live in one of these event cases). They can be placed anywhere in the main vi.
    4) For each of the references, right-click and select Create/Indicator
    5) Moving to the front panel, Cut all the indicators and Paste them in the global variable (eg. User Interface References.vi)
    6) Moving back to the block diagram, wire the global variable to each of the references and select the same named global variable.
All the hard work is now done (until you add another user interface terminal). You should now have something that look as shown below, [except the reference labels would be to the left (not sure why the snippet put them above)]. In my latest program I have 82 references!
Done. You can now access all your front panel controls and indicators anywhere in your program as shown below.
You can just select Value in most cases, but in this particular case I wanted to fire off an Event to do some things (log the alarm) as well as just update the value. So, this is another bonus with the method.
Hopefully this all makes sense. If not, let me know.

  • Remote front panel licence?

I'm building an application that will run on a industrial computer without a monitor or keyboard. The engineers at the site need to be able to view my front panel on there office computers to monitor the line. The ideal way to do this would be to just set up a web page that will display the info and let them control the User interface without having to install any third party software (including labview).
Does each engineer need there own licence for Remote Panel and do they have to install the Real time driver if I want to use the embeded option? Basically they need to be able to flip between a few tabs and view both live data and historical data.
The only other way I can come up with is build a second .exe and give it to each engineer which will connect to the remote computer, but I'd rather not have to install anything on there computers.
    Thanks for the help
    Matt

Whether you use remote panels or distribute an executable, the client will have to install something. The remote panel option requires the installation of the LabVIEW run-time engine. An executable also requires the run-time engine as well as the exe itself. The run-time engine itself does not require any addtional licenses but the remote panel may. It depends on your version of LabVIEW (basic, full, pro) and how many clients will be connected at the same time.

  • Graph stalls when front panel is adjusted

So I am trying to debug a code that someone previously wrote. I am a bit familiar with the code but as I mentioned did not write it myself. The deal is that when Im in running the front panel and the graph is graphing time vs any other parameter, if you press any button on the front panel or if a sub-vi gets called the graph will stall and one has to manually reset the graph. I am not too sure why this is going on. Attached are a few screen shots of where this section of the code lives. There is a stacked sequence with two subdiagrams and it is also being called in the event structure inside one of those subdiagrams. I could also upload the whole code if needed.
    Thanks for the help guys

OK, I was able to get to the code by selective unzipping.
As a first step, you should eliminate all these value property nodes and replace them with plain local variables instead. The code os causing excessive thread switching and spends way too much time in the UI thread.
Overall, there is way too much code. For example you have in the "graphed parameter" event the same property node in every single case of the inner case structures. These property nodes belong after the case structure, only once instance each needed!
(Sorry, I have to do some other things now. Will look at it a little more later.....)

  • Web browser plug-in for publishing a front panel

I have a number of automated systems operating through the corporation. Support is becoming an issue. I plan on running an application on a server, the front panel will look like a 'tech support request form'. Accessed through a browser, users on the LAN will access the "form" and log in a support request. On the back end the VI will log the request to a DB and email me to alert me to the issue
Just read in an excerpt of the LTR that to accomplish this the client machines must have:
"To operate remote panels from a browser, you must first have the LabVIEW 6.1 run-time engine and browser plug-in installed on the client machine."
The runtime engine is no problem, but what , and where, is the br
owser plug-in? and will it operate with both/either Netscape / IE?

I looked through the source code on the html pages, there is some javascript detection. I'm running Win2k and IE 6 and don't have the 6.1 run-time engine on the machine and get prompted to install it.
If you view source of any of the live experiment pages search for "ftp.ni.com" and that should take you to the right place in the html for the script.
Johnathan's post mentiond that NS is only supported for versions greater than 4.7 so that might be one issue with your current setup. I'm sure there has got to be a way to detect your browser version too and then inform people that if they're using an older version they need to upgrade to view the remote panel. Of course, I said I'm sure it's possible which doesn't mean I know myself ho
w to do it ;-) I have seen it on some sites when functionality isn't available for older versions like NS 3.x
One other thing, depding on how you're going to deploy the application and how much control you have over the machines accessing the pages. If the detection is a javascript based detection then you might want to include a detection to make sure people have javascript turned on in the first place. If you think that would be useful let me know and I'll try and see if I can find something.
I'm waiting to hear back from somebody on the NS issues and to confirm the javascript working for both browsers. I'll let you know as soon as I have more information.

  • Front panel sound ports

Feeling quite pleased with myself because my first build is just about finished ( have a mass of cables to tidy up and tie back) However I do have one minor problem, I can’t get any sound out of the front panel (top panel in this case) headphone socket.
The front panel connector JAUD1 has nine  pins and pin 7 is for future use according to the motherboard manual and pin4 is filtered 5V which I don’t have a plug for.
I have one lead with 3 connectors for mic ,  ground and mic power which go to pins 1,2 and 3.  Another lead has right in & right out and left in &left out and ground. These go to pins 6,7,9&10. There is only one pin marked ground and this is already in use. So I haven’t been able to connect this ground. Is this what is stopping it working.
So although it is only a minor problem, it would be nice to have the headphone socket working. Anyone any thoughts?

I really can't comment on the wiring exactly without seeing the schematics for the pins out from the motherboard.  However, you apparently have a sound card installed so I am wondering what leads you are plugging your front case jacks into?  I personally never have two sound capabilities activated in my systems.  Since all MBs now come with integrated sound and I always use a sound card, I disable the onboard sound.  I know if the onboard is enabled most boards have pins you can connect to the case sound jacks.  When that is done you usually lose the sound out from the back panels jacks.  So where do you have your front panel leads connected to?  I have seen a couple of cases that have a formal mini-plug that you can plug into the card or the MB to bring the sound to the front of the case.  Just some things to think about, probably didn't exactly answer your question.

  • 785G-E53 Front Panel Audio

I just put my first PC together -- 785G-E53 and Phenom II X2.  But the front panel audio does not work even though the connector plug-in JAUD1 just fine.  I suspect it's because the mobo has 7.1 HD audio and my front panel audio has a simple stereo connector.  How do I get the audio to the front panel?
    Thanks.

I've tired all that and it's not working.  I think there may be an issue with the case.  Over the weekend, I built a second computer for my kids.  I used the same model motherboard and same model case.  That one works perfectly with no changes to the disable front panel jack detection.
The only difference is that mine has bios 2.A and the old one has 2.8.  Couldn't get the windows based bios flash tool in live update 4 to work.  When I checked the forum, found a post that said as far as bios goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it.  Maybe that is what's wrong with my computer.

  • Open and close a vi front panel dynamically

I created a main vi panel that display all the signal names.  I like the main vi to open a new plot screen when I double click on the signal name.  I was able to do that using invoke node. But I when I close the plot screen by clicking on the Window "Close" button, the main vi was not able to open a new one again.  So I disabled the Window "Close" button and only use the "Stop" button coded in while loop in the blockdigram of the plot screen.  It worked, but the plot screen is still open and changed to editing mode.  Is there an easy way to close the plot screen by only one click.  Another question is that how does the main vi can open multiple plot screens.  Thanks for your advice.

I think I know what happens:
If you close the front panel of a sub-vi, the code is still running, so the VI doesn't terminate and somehow you can't address it (it don't know how you communicate with your sub-vi).
So in your sub-vi you should monitor the panel-close event, and finish the code of the VI and finish the VI

  • Open and Close Front Panel of SubVI

    Hi all,
Running LabVIEW 2011 on Windows 7 x64.  I am trying to get a subVI front panel to open from my main FP with the press of a button and then close with a button press in the subVI.  Here is the piece from my main FP that calls the VI and opens the FP
Plots is defined in another loop and all of the loops are in a flat sequence.  I did it this way because I want it to start with the first press and not stop my main loop from running.  I have moved the item in the left loop around a lot so I'm not sure if I can run that in the same loop as the event or not.  Either way opening the VI seems to work fine.
The problem shows up when trying to close the subVI for the SECOND time.  The code is here:
As I said, the first time I open and close the VI everything works as I expect it should.  I am then able to open it again but now the "blank button" doesn't function and I can't close the window or even open the block diagram to probe anything.  I have been trying to figure this out for awhile, any insite would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
