How can I adjust the volume, balance, bass and trebel for the rear speakers only on an sbli've value?

What sound card does allow that?

I think I may have been bam-boozled on Ebay...
I bought a Sound Blaster card (model CT4780) for my daughter's computer off Ebay with the understanding it would support a 5 speaker system.
The auction stated it was a: USED CREATIVE LABS SOUND BLASTER LIVE! VALUE 5. DIGITAL PCI SOUND CARD
I installed the latest drivers off Creative's site, but it won't play the center speaker. All others will work including the sub.
XP says the card is a Sound Blaster Li've Value.
The AudioHQ also doesn't show the 5. speakers available either.
Will this card play all 5 speakers? If so, what am I doing wrong?

A Li've! Value card support up to 4./4 analog speaker system. Perhaps you might like to double check with the seller again regarding this.

SBlive Value and 2 audio out settin

Hi, Just a quick question. I want to be able to hook up 2. speakers to the front speaker out, and have the identical sound come out of the headphones I have hooked up to the rear speaker out. I had an old version of AudioHQ that allowed some option (Ibelieve it was 2 speaker legacy audio out or something like that) which allowed both the front speaker out and rear speaker out on my SBli've value card to have the same output sound. I just recently formatted and installed the new control panel, and I can't for the life of me find that option under the new version of audioHQ (.0) using windowsXP pro SP2.
All I want is a setup where I can listen to mp3s from anywhere in the house but then just turn the volume down on the speakers and play an online game through the headphones without climbing behind my computer to switch wires and without disturbing the wife. Any help would be much appreciated, or if someone has a better suggestion to my problem it would also help.

Did this soundcard come preinstalled in your Gateway computer? If so you will need to contact your computer manufacturer for support as the card may be OEM. OEM components are often modified from their retail standards and require special drivers that only the Vendor will have access to.

Audigy 2 ZS Rear Speaker Probl

? Im positi've I have my speakers hooked up right but whenever im playing a game, Team Fortress 2 for example, when im facing the action I can hear everything fine, but when I turn around I hear no sound. Also the I tested my speakers on the Counter Strike Source speaker test thing and I failed to hear any audio from my center and rear speakers, my front speakers worked fine. I have the Creative audio console and windows control panel set to 5. surrond sound. I am also using the latest drivers. I tried the new beta drivers but I hear no sound when using those. By the way im using windows xp professional 32 bit. What do you suggest I do to fix this problem?

Yes that's normal for stereo stuff since they only have 2 channel without CMSS. It's just that Li've and Audigy 2 ZS is built a little differently.
With CMSS2, the sound effect on center and rear speaker maybe a little soft but you should have sound output also. Try adjusting the Stereo Focus slider and see if it makes any different. Since you are using the soundcard upmix feature, turn off the upmix feature(LED off) of the S750 on the control pod.

I did the asset transfer with in the company code using T-code: ABUMN
Old Asset # 1000
Asset Value Date: 18/04/2006
Estimated Life time: 5 Years
Depreciation: Every year: $ 5400.00/12 = $ 450.00 p.m.
For the current year up to 31 Mar 2007 Posted Depreciation is $ 5400.00
I did the asset transfer
New asset # 2000
Asset Value Date: 18/04/2006
Estimated Life Time : 15 Years
Depreciation Posted up to 31/03/2007 - $ 1800
The issue is, after I did the transfer, the book value of the old asset # 1000 has transferred to new asset # 2000, the depreciation has also calculated correctly- $ 1800
In addition to that, an extra amount $ 450 (Depreciation amount of the old asset #1000 per month) has also deducted the book value of new asset # 2000
The Current information of New Asset #2000
Acquisition Value: $ 27000
Ord. Dep Posted $   1800 -
Value Adjustment $      450-
   Net Book Value $ 24750 - But this value is not correct.
What I need to do that, I have to maintain the book value for the new asset #2000 for the current year 2006-07 is $ 25,200.00 and meanwhile require an entry for that value adjustment $ 450.
If I want to do write up the value adjustment amount $450 for the current year, the system doesnt allow to post the transaction and also in FI Doc posting (Because the account that I would like to post is a Recon Account). My company wants to write up in current year only ($450)
Can you help me to resolve the issue?

Well and thank you for your answer and meanwhile you didn't mentioned that How to set back the Recon a/c indicator for the G/L acoount. Because I tried to reset and the system gives the Error message "the account is having balance" and doesn't save.
But Finally I tried with T-code: OAK5 and result was fine.

Inspire 5200 5.1 sound from both R & L rear speakers coming from left rear speaker only

I have done a complete sound system check, every thing check out good. From the rear speakers I am only getting sound from left rear. When i do a speaker check, when right rear speaker lites, sound comes from left rear. when left rear speaker lites sound also comes from left rear speaker.

You may have to check with your sound card manufacturer for special setting to upmix the Stereo to the rest of the speaker.
If you are using Creative 5.1 sound card, you can refer to the link for the CMSS upmix feature.

Having Problem With Inspire 5.1 5300 rear speaker...

After using my inspire 5.1 5300 for few year... right now im having problem with my rear speaker... just one channel was unable to start... Anyone know about repairing for speaker ? Just to clarify, by "FCP 5 friendly source material," he means video files that are a format (codec) that FCP 5 supports. What FCP 5 supports can be found in the EASY SETUP list. If the format you are working with isn't there, say if your footage is H.264 or MP4 or some other web compressed format, FCP won't work properly. It needs to be in an editing codec if you want FCP 5 to work with it.
Also, you need to make sure that your sequence settings match the settings of the footage you are trying to edit. If you add a clip to the sequence, and immediately have to render, that's a big clue to say that something isn't right. You should edit without rendering at all.
The most important thing you need to do is properly set up your project from the start, and the best way to do this is to choose a setting from the Easy Setups, located under the Final Cut Pro menu. Once you do this, you’ll need to create a new sequence. This is because the sequence that is already in your new project is setup for the typical default setting of DV/NTSC, or for the settings of your last project, which might not match what you are currently working with. So delete SEQUENCE 1 and create a new sequence:
This new sequence will contain the settings you chose in the Easy Setup menu, and should match the format you captured

Rear speaker problem

Hi, i have 4 speakers and a subwoofer. Mainboard is asrock xtreme4 which come with realtek hd audio.
You may know the famous "rear speaker problem" on windows products. While speaker test just works fine, rear speaker never works on media player, winamp etc...
But recently it become really interesting because, that rear speakers works fine on firefox browser 22.0. So it gave me hope the solve this problem once and for all.
Right now, when i listening any thing on firefox, rear speakers works fine. But not working on Chrome and other stuff.
What firefox 22.0 made to work speakers fine?

hey have you tryed connecting other speakers to the bad connected one and see if it was not a bad channel? if so then let me know and I will look in to this problem more and try my best to get you the answers your looking for ok

DDL or DTS = no sound out of rear speak

I have a sb xfi plat with optical out going to a dd/dts reciever and every time i play an mp3 i only get sound out of the front speakers and not my rears, is anyone else having this issue?

Are you telling me this is how?creative designed this to work because?it isn't working like?every other DDL / DTS connect card out there.
I don't kow how and where exactly the defferences are between those solutions. But as I told it, it is the way the Creative implemention handles it. If you don't use CMSS-3D or use the surround functions of you Decoder (I have a seperate balance for "surround" on my Z-5500 where I can set If the rear speaker are used *at all*) you won't get automaticly Surround Sound with MP3. Of course it still depends a bit on you player software, there are player/filters (AC3 Filter; ffdshow) out there which can do that too. Upmixing Stuff, I mean but then you don't really need DDL. I use it to encode actual game sounds, because strangely I don't have any popping and noise in there while I use it (just read up that crackling/popping thread.

Value adjustment field in sq01

There is a requirement to fetch "value adjustment" field (in asset explorer) in an asset report (designed through sq01, logical database ada).
I tried abumn & value adjustment field gets populated for the asset but I can not trace out the table & the field where it is stored.
Can someone help me in pulling out this data from the table?

I have developed sap abap query using sq01. fetched most of the details from ANLAV, ANLZ, ANLB, ANLK, ANLP.
specific reqirement is to include value adjustment field (Ord. Depreciation CY + Ord. Depreciation PY) in this report.
but ANEP provides amount posted with respect to transaction type.
Closest one I reached is: table ANEA with two fields (Ord Dep. CY, Ord Dep PY). There summation can provide the total value adjustment but that I doubt could be of any use.
There is one structure FIAA_COMPARE_VALUES which holds the value but this cant be used in the query.
So, am i missing out on a table which directly holds the value ?

Activate "Value Adjustment Required Indicator" Field in FMX1

Transaction Code FMX1/FMX2/FMX3 (Earmarked Fund Maintenance), in More Button of earmarked fund line item, there is no Indicator Field for "Value Adjustment Required" marking.
This is the new SAP client setup. I have config field selection string and assigned. I set Opt. Entry for "_Indicator: Amount Change Only with Value Adjustment Document_" but in Earmarked Fund Maintenenace still not be appeared.
I would like to use earmarekd fund with Value Adjustment function (FMXPM1 - FMXPM3) so I need to mark the Value Adjustment Required field in FMX1/FMX2.
Could you please advice, how to show Value Adjustment Required indicator in Earmarked Fund Maintenenace Transaction?

Nothing from my rear speaker and sub using VISTA with SB X-Fi Xtreme Noteb

I know many people have problems with audio not coming out of their rear speaker. I can't seem to even get sound from the diagnosis tests. All I hear is sound and noise coming out of my front speakers and nothing else. Is this a Windows Vista driver problem?

I don't know if this is going to help or not..
. Is on-board sound disabled in the bios?
2. Have you gone through the Win XP control panel playback and recording settings to make sure microphone isn't disabled?
3. Is digital line-in disabled?
4. In the Soundblaster Control Console you've selected mixer and then selected line-in 2 / mic 2 by clicking on the "rec" slider?

How do i set up my sound card to have full 5. surround sound with my Harman Kardon AVR. I plugged my optic cable in my sound card out to my AVR in, then only my rear speaker work. Please help me.
