SBO2007A can no longer change the Price after Discount on marketing docs

In SBO2005A (subjecting to Document Settings), you could change the Price after Discount. Thisis no longer available in SBO2007A (unless you upgrade from SBO2005A with the appropiate settings.
I have not found a customer who thinks this is good idea.
Good to reinstate the functionality.

Hi,
The field "Price after discount" can become editable if you unmark the checkbox "Calculate the row Total using the Unit Price" (Document Settings->General Tab). As default this checkbox is disabled for new installations.

You can no longer change the password

Good day!
I have a problem on a Netweaver 2004s BI server.
When a user tries to change his password at the logon screen, the error message : "You can no longer change the password" appears.
To clarify, user types his current user id and password in the logon screen, then clicks the "New Pasword" button. Then immediately the "You can no longer change the password" appears.
This is not similar to the message that says you can only change your password once per day.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Ah.. that was interesting.. actually you wouldn't know about these errors which do not give u a clue.. in the right direction unless you have faced the problem. Good that the problem is resolved.
Its more quicker to actually help, if you have access to the system.
This error could have been easily sorted out by checking system log entry and audit logs or SUIM.

Can no longer change the G/L account in AO90

Hi!
I have a problem changing the G/L account in AO90 for an account determination where I have posted the wrong account. Since I have already created assets with an account determination that includes this account, it says that I "can no longer change the value '124000' for the G/L account.
I have found some threads with info f.ex:
- AC476 in transaction OBMSG, but it require SAP entry
- reverse the posting values in transaction ABF1, but I'm not 100% sure how to reverse it...
How can I remove the asset/reverse asset values so it will be possible for me to post the correct account? I'm currently working in a dev system, so these are fictive assets that I can delete (which I cannot do as there are values on them). But i have to get this in order to transport the correct properties to the test system.

Its Very Simple.
To change GL Account for asset class first remove GL Account in A090 i.e.
put it as blank and save it.
Come out from AO90 transaction code and change gl account.
It will posted.

Since purchasing my Mac Pro with retina display, I can no longer change the preferences on MP Navigator for Canon MX870. I can change them on my old Mac Pro with Lion, but not the new one. I can scan but I can't save it to a folder on my hard drive. I can only let it default to a back up date folder. Tried all sorts of things to change the preferences and folders, nothing worked. Ideas?

To prevent your iPhone from automatically syncing when you plug it in, click on iTunes in the menu bar, then preferences, then "devices", then tick "prevent iPhones, iPad's and iPod's from syncing automatically".
Plug it in, then on the iPhone sync summary screen, click "info" along the top.
Make sure the "sync contacts" option is not ticked. as long as it's not ticked, then it won't sync with your mac's contacts but will still include them in backups.
Also, if you use iCloud, make sure that the iPhone/mac are either not signed into the same account, or that "contacts" is not turned on for both of them

How to know when the PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT changed and get the value

Everything I do to see if a value changed in the grid works except for PRICE AFTER DISCOUNT
which seems to be inaccessible.
Any idea how to know when exactly this value changed and do actions accordinly ?
Also I always get 0.00 if I try to get the value of it
This works to get in the condition of a vlaue changing but I always get 0.00 as the value of the column

just idea, maybe it will works
Create one udf in row level and set there FS based on changes on price after discount and fill value what is in price after discount. Then the validation make on this field instead of standard SAP field.

Can i change the price after publishing?

We always found pricing of our printed books to be a tricky matter. Find the sweet spot, and you maximize profits.
With printed books, we could test market in limited locations before going national. With ibooks, it's straight to the whole world.
I think ibooks should cost much less than printed counterparts... but how much less? I'd welcome a conversation on the topic.
Meanwhile, we're in a learning curve, and I wonder if I can change the price if we decide we're way off target.

Using iTunes Connect, locate your book in Manage Your Books and click Edit Rights & Pricing.
Note you may risk current ranking being reset if you change the price, so...
As for specific pricing as a topic....not sure if forum rules allow for that, sorry.

Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, move these files to the Desktop.

Reboot & see if you can set it again.

Can no longer change the amount of my monthly paym...

Last month I noticed I was quite a lot in credit with my phone account, so I lowered my monthly payment through 'my account'. I also phoned up and got the credit refunded straight to my bank. I have just received my latest bill and it seems my monthly payment has now been changed to be *double* what I had changed it to and due to BT's 'catch up' fiasco my bill is now just slightly more than the amount I was previously refunded :/ I can't see the option to lower my payment anymore in my account - do I have to phone up now?

I used to be able to get info, select the icon and paste a new icon on it, but now it won't let me. This works fine/as usual with my other mounted drives. Any ideas?

Instead of using the Get Info window you can put your desired icon, as an .icns file, at root level (the window that opens when you dbl-click the volume icon), calling it ".VolumeIcon.icns" - note the leading "." which makes the file invisible in the Finder. Your custom icon will appear instantly as the startup disk's icon.

Do you mean that when you click on the playlist in the sidebar and click on it again to make it editable (light blue color) you cannot write in the new name?
Try Control click on the playlist and select Edit playlist and an edit box appears on the right. Click on the name box at the top and it should be writable.

With FF 23.0.1, I can no longer replace the standard Firefox icon in Snow Leopard to match the rest of my icon scheme -- why not?

Hi. I use a custom icon scheme in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my Mac Pro. Normally, when Firefox updates itself, its icon is reset to the default. I then change it back to my custom icon by the normal method: go to Get Info, unlock the access settings, paste the custom icon over the highlighted default icon in the top left corner of the Get Info box, reset the access and lock it, and then close the Get Info box. After that, the custom icon reappears the first time I launch Firefox.
I can no longer change the icon by this method, so I'm assuming that it's something in FF 23.0.1 that's been changed to prevent the icon swap, especially as the regular method is working with all my other applications. I'm fussy about appearance/presentation stuff like this, so I'll keep messing around to see if I can find another method of changing the icon. If I can't modify the stock icon, I guess it will back to Chrome. I'd REALLY rather not have to switch, so if there's a simple fix I'm missing, I'd love to know about it.

Can no longer change fonts in Mail messages

All of the sudden (within the last couple of days), I find I can no longer change the font - or even the style (bold, italic) of any new mail message. I can change the color, but that's about it. The font stays as whatever the default Message Font is. I did try changing the default to verify it was not a font corruption issue.
I don't think it's a font panel issue since I can change Fonts, Styles, etc. in other apps that use the Font Panel.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Some more tests .. it's definitely not the app itself .. I booted from my external .. and I launched the Mail app on my main .. and it worked fine (of course, all my accounts, etc weren't there) .. so you're right .. it's either a prefs thing (though not the "com.apple.mail.plist" file since opening a brand new user still has the same problem).. or maybe even a corrupt .pkg file in Receipts .. wait a sec .. replaced the Mail.pkg file just to check .. still nope. So it's gotta be something low level.
At this point, I'm thinking what may be easier on both of us is ... I'm waiting for the Apple Box Set (Leopard/iLife 09/iWork 09) to start shipping before I upgrade .. that should be pretty soon .. so I'll just hand on till then (it's really not all that big a deal I guess in the big picture .. just irritating) .. and see if upgrading corrects the issue .. if not, then I guess I'm off bug hunting again.

Unit Price after Discount/Rounding

For sales documents, we are currently using the Discount% column to include additional fees to an item's unit price. Ex: sales price list u/p of $0.60 * Discount of -5% = billed u/p of $0.63 (Price after Discount includes $0.03 hub fee). We have this setup as we are calculating commission based on the price list u/p. The above example rounds nicely, but the problem comes about when the figures are not even. For example an item with list price of 4.54 must be billed at 4.65. The resulting discount% is -2.4229074... Although rounding will show the correct u/p of 4.65, the row/doc total calculations will be carried out at 4.649999... For high volume orders, this will create a noticeable price discrepency. Is there a way to enter the Price after Discount field manually? Thank you.

Check in:
Administration -> System Initialization -> Document Settings -> Generla Tab:
'Calculate Row Total Using Unit Price'.
If this box is checked in 2005 the field 'Price after Discount' will not be active even if it is set as active in the Form Settings of the document.
In 2007 for a database that was created in 2007 this field cannot be activated as far as I know.
From what I remember a db that has been upgraded from 2005 to 2007 this field can still be activated.

you could set in customizing for field selection keys the net price
to display for ME22N so that changes can not be made
(transaction OLME -> purchase order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level).
Please check that you have set all the relevant field selection
groups to display: AKTV, ME22, ME22N... (read and apply note 30316)
Other workaround is try to do by yourself with the badi
ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and send your own error message.

Can change the price in the PO line item

Hello experts,
I have this Purchase order document where I can change the price in the PO line item(ME22N) where as in the other PO that I have created, changing the price in ME22N is not possible(shaded). They are all the same document type and plant combination. For the PB00 condition type configuration, It is set to D- not possible to process manually.
Please help.

Yes i am aware of that, basically the settings is what the price indicated in the info record and as long it is included in the validty periiod then when you create the PO, that price will be detected by the system. i am clear for that, my issue is why there are some materials that i can change the price in the PO directly while the others are the pricing tab is disabled(cannot change the price)
Settings in the SPRO-MM - PURHASING- CONDITIONS-DEFINE PRICE DETERMINATION PROCESS- DEFINE CONDITION TYPES PB00 is D(NOT POSSIBLE TO PROCESS MANUALLY) but stilll the system is showing some PO's that can be changed the price
