SbRIO & 9205 C module : calibration validity

Hello,
By using LabVIEW, is there a way to get calibration information for a 9205 C module used with an sbRIO-9612 ? (last calibration date for example, or at least a boolean information)
I know that we can get this information with MAX functions when 9205 is used with a cDAQ. But is it possible to do such a thing with an sbRIO and if so, how can I do that ?

As far as I know, it's not possible to get the calibration information for a C module with a sbRIO-9612 (or any RIO device).

Hi All, I have done configuration for File to Idoc scenario where i am recieving an EDI file for ORDERS V D01B and we are placing an idoc to respective SAP system. We are getting the following error in BIC configuration.

We have done the similar configuration for ORDERS D96A and D93A and those interfaces are working perfectly fine.

u can validate the field values using at selectiion-screen
     AT SELECTION-SCREEN
When user enters the values in the fields of selection screen and clicks on execute button, this event gets triggered. This event is basically for checking the values entered by the user for the fields of the selection screen i.e., data validity checking. This event is for entire selection screen. For example:
You are accepting carrid, connid, fldate from user and you dont want to proceed if user enters no value for carrid and fldate. Using AT SELECTION-SCREEN can do this.
Select-options: carrid1 for sflight-carrid,
          Connid1 for sflight-connid,
          F1date1 for sflight-f1date.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
If carrid1-low ne and fldate1-low = .
    Error message.
Endif.
In this case, if both the fields are entered blank, then the user gets error message.
Basically, this event is for many fields on selection screen. Usually, it is for the fields which are logically related.
     AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON <field>
When you want to check for specific value of a field. For example, carrid should be in the range of LH and SQ. This can be done in this event. Basically, this event is for checking individual fields. You can have many AT selection-screen events in your program (i.e., for each field specified in the Select-Options).
Select-Options carrid1 for sflight-carrid.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
If carrid1-low ne LH and carrid1-high ne SQ.
   Error message.
Endif.
Here the system will not proceed on entering wrong values.

PXI-2548 relay module calibration

#1) Where would I find the date when my PXI-2548 relay module was first calibrated?
#2) Are there different ways to calibrate the this relay module and if so what are they?

Hi Julian,
The NI PXI-2548 does not require calibration because it does not have any electronic components that can get calibrated. Therefore, there is no calibration done, there are no ways to calibrate the module, and there is no calibration schedule.
Note that you can compensate for the insertion loss of the switch on a per path basis. These compensations typically include the loss through cables and are performed when the board is placed in the end system. This is more of an offset compensation for the system "switches+connectivity" rather than a board calibration; it is system dependent. I recommend making this compensation measurement before proceeding with any automated testing.

Using the DAQ-9178 and 9205 Voltage Module, how do I build a 16 Channel Voltmeter with a range of 0--50Vdc?

I have already built an 8 channel 10:1 voltage divider using 1% resistors. My problem is there is a lot of AC noise on the DC signal and the voltages don't match my Fluke DVM which is sitting beside.

A little more info... Only Channels one and two have signal going to them. Ch1, (a0), is connected to a 9volt battery, and ch2, (a1), is connected to a variable bench supply set for 17Vdc.
The DVM is rock steady, however the LabVIEW indicators show what I assume is a product of the AC noise.
Any help would be appreciated

Validation unit

I have a form module that the form module property validation unit is set to FORM. However, I want to do an immediate validation on some of the items. When_validate_item trigger does not fire on this items. Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks for your prompt response, I thought of doing this but the requirement does not want each item to be validated. Moreover, one items is based on hierachical tree (Htree) and there is go block in when_mouse_double_clicked trigger and when I set the validation unit to default or Item, this trigger did not work because of the Go_BLOCK command

S1000d - Business Rule validation

Hi- I have just started using S1000d, i created a rule in my business module( eg //description/para/emphasis) with allowedObjectFlag=0 , i have also set my Data module pointing to the business module. And so, when and how does my Data module get validated against the mentioned rule? Whenever i try to validate my Data module, it turns out as valid even though my data module has //description/para/emphasis element in it. Please let me know what should i be doing in order to catch my rule?

Loading asm module fails

Hi:
Your first problem about kernel version is normal: your version kernel is '2.4.21-27.0.2' and your modules are valid only for version '2.4.21-EL-ABI'. I suppose the system is doing a simple comparation between strings and are different. I sugest you to use the same kernel version.
for the second problem I want recommend to you using the Linux command:
raw -qa
this will show all Raw partitions on your system. Seems there isn't any partition at '/dev/sda1p5'.

AP: daily concurrent request runs but some invoices are never validated

We have a process running every night (APPRVL module: Invoice Validation) to pick up invoice batches and this process should try to validate the invoices within each batch (we do not use approvals or workflow within AP). The APPRVL process always completes without error. Therefore every invoice within each batch should either have a status of 'validated' or 'requires re-validation'. I keep finding invoices within the batch with a status of 'never validated'. These invoices tend to have 'value' mismatch between the distribution total and the invoice total. I would therefore assume the APPRVL process to place a distribution variance hold on the invoice, but as i say the invoice remains at the status 'never validated' I have checked the log files for the APPRVL process : the logs contain details relating to each invoice picked up within the batch and whether APPRVL has validated successfully or not.
I have searched through metalink and cannot find any reason why the invoices may be missed. These invoices can be manually validated, although they will require re-validation because of the distribution variance hold placed on it. however it proves that there is no data missing from the invoice
Does anyone have any ideas as to why the invoices may be missed.

this is not normal ..however it is possible ... Can you check the configuration for the profile option "Allow Adjustments to Paid Invoice" set for your payables responsibility .. if this is set to YES, then your system allows modifications to the Invoices even after they are accounted and paid ...
I guess that should be causing the issue ...
For performing a test case in your Test/Supt environment, make sure the above profile option is enabled and create an Invoice, validate it and make payment to it ... now again query back the invoice and insert a new line and distribution ... this would make the invoice change to NEEDS REVALIDATION status i.e. match_status_flag = T .. and also placing LINE variance / DIST variance hold ...

To authenticate the SSL client, the SSL module verifies the following:
* The certificate at one level is properly signed by the issuer at the next level.
* At least one of the issuer certificates in the certificate chain is trusted by the SSL proxy service.
* None of the certificates in the certificate chain is in the certificate revocation list (CRL) and rejected by any access control list (ACL).
For verifying the SSL client certificates, the SSL module is configured with a list of trusted certificate authorities (certificate authority pool). The SSL module trusts only the certificates issued by the certificate authorities that you configure in the certificate authority pool.

Not able to find Parameters in NWA PI 7.1

Basically what i think is, here we need to add assign roles as mentioned in note #1042450, but problem is i'm not getting this parameters, in NWA for PI7.1. (IN PI 7.1, we dont have Visual Admin, so need to add in NWA)

Adress on Purchase order

Hi all,
We have come across a problem when the ADRC ADDRNUMBER counter in ERP got full (the standard max limit is 49 999 999). Analysis shows that most of those are empty address rows and created by one-time vendor.
In our case the mass of addresses is probably coming with the Purchase order data. Purchase order holds a umber of partners and there are addresses on PO itself.
Has anyone come across similar problem or does anyone have advice for us how to make the process better in a sense that the counter wouldnt reach max again (its atm 99 999 999)
can the process/software be customized in a way that the adress (country) would not be needed on PO?

we discovered the cause of our poblem being a mistake in compiling custom IDOC message. nothing general i think.
in standard module IDOC_INPUT_PORDCR:

               IS INITIAL.
              CLEAR PO_HEADER_ADD_DATA-VPER_START.
            ENDIF.
            IF E1BPEKKOA-VPER_END
               IS INITIAL.
              CLEAR PO_HEADER_ADD_DATA-VPER_END.
            ENDIF.
in our custom module Z_IDOC_INPUT_PORDCR:
Validity field should be filled in po_header_add_data
            e1bpaddress = idoc_data-sdata.
            MOVE-CORRESPONDING e1bpaddress
                            TO po_address.
            move: e1bpaddress-date_from to
                    po_header_add_data-vper_start,
                  e1bpaddress-date_to to
                    po_header_add_data-vper_end.
VPER_START ja VPER_END are taken from a wrong segment and thus someway create a address line while creating Purchase Order.

SAPUI5 Project - Missing persistence.xml

I have created a simple SAPUI5 application having an Employee form. The values should be saved in the HANA DB. As there are multiple ways to save the data in HANA, I am exploring the JPA based approach.
I am following the Container-Managed Persistence Example and able to create the project. Instead of Dynamic Web project, I have created SAPUI5 project and also changed the project facets as mentioned in the tutorial.
Now the problem is that I am not able to deploy the project on SAP HCP. It is giving me following error -

Actually yes - please get familiar with The SCN Rules of Engagement! In particular, don't push if you haven't received an answer after 3 hours or so.
Now, I am not sure how a UI5 project is exported and what it packages but I would recommend using a Dynamic Web project which is intended for Java web development and supports JPA. You can also have your HTML and JS static resources in it.
