  • Adobe form with approver details

    Hi All,
I have designed one Adobe form for offline scenario. Once the user fills the data he will send to one emaild in R/3 which I have already configured to receive mails with attachment. Then it should trigger work flow.
Here my requirement is , this PDF will be approved by first approver and then by second like that. I would like to get all the approver details in PDF itself. so, that when we do archive or when we take print , we can have full history of approvals.
Can some body tell me how can we acheive this?
    Appreciate your help
    Regards,
    Ravi

This issue is resolved. This was due to loading a large data set to the form.

  • Approver Details Not Visible After Changing the Approval Process

    Hi Gurus,
This expense report belongs to an open approval task when an approval process has ended its validity date.
After a new approval process is activated, all pending approval tasks experience the issue of approver details not showing.
In order to reproduce following steps need to be done :
    1. Deactivate the current approval process and activate the new approval process.
    2. When the status of the recently deactivated approval process is "Ended With Open Tasks", go to the "Show Open Approval Tasks" to
    see the open approval tasks.
3 Check the Cost Assignment area for expense report which is in the open approval tasks.
    3. Approver Details are available.
    4. The approver sees the expense report on his/her approval list.
Once the approver approves, it doesn't go out of his/her approval list and the expense report is still pending for approval.
To determine if the expense report has no other pending approval from anyone else, there should be the approver
details but the issue is it doesn't show up.
The expense report is also stuck on the approver's approval list even after approving.
Workaround provided to the Customer:   Recall the ER and submit again for approval.
But as per customer there should be a background job to refresh the expense report to reflect the approval details.
And issue should not occur as explained on the point 4.
Kindly suggest if anything is possible to improve the system behavior.
    Regards,
    Rahul Mishra

    Hi Rahul,
Although we have a workaround, I believe a permanent solution has to be implemented.
In cases when an expense report has more than one approver (for example there are 4 approvers) and the 3 approvers had already approved, I think it will not be good to recall the expense report and resubmit because the traveler will have to seek for approval again from all the approvers.

  • Approval preview not displaying approval details in 'Check Status'

    Hi All,
I am facing an issue in the below scenario:-
First a requestor creates an Advice Special Request Form which goes to a purchaser for approval. The purchaser rejects this item and adds a new item by creating a special request form and fills in correct details. While he does this, the cost assignment for the items is different(multiple cost center assignment). Then he approves this Shopping cart. When the requestor Accepts the Changes, he is not able to view the approver details. But once he clicks on change option, then the approval details are shown in the approval preview.
Is there any way that the approval details are shown when the user clicks on the 'Approval preview' as the SC has already gone for approval to the manager? Is there any particular reason why only in change mode he can see the approval details?

    Dear Poster,
As no response has been provided to the thread in some time I must assume the issue is resolved, if the question is still valid please create a new thread rephrasing the query and providing as much data as possible to promote response from the community.

  • Get PO Approver details

I am writing an ABAP report that needs the name of the PO approver but I cannot find where to get the name in SRM tables. I can get requestor, vendor, goods receiptor details from CRMD_PARTNER and BUT000 but where do the PO approver details come from? I can see the approver name in SRM but not anywhere in the backend.
    Conor

    Hi,
You can find the change details in table CDHDR and CDPOS.
You can also get the workitem number for this PO form table  SWW_WI2OBJ. Now from this woirkitem  you can find the dialog workitem by using FM 'SAP_WAPI_GET_DEPENDENT_WIS' where wi_type = 'W' .
Now from this dialog workitem you can get the approver by using FM 'SAP_WAPI_GET_WI_AGENTS'.
For reference you can see below link.

Hoping that this will be helpful.

  • Get approver details in doc check

Is there any way to get the current approver and corresponding item guid determined by the system in doc check badi?

    Hi Saravanan,
I am getting the approvers in the method GET_APPROVERS_BY_AREA_GUID via Z class which is a copy of /SAPSRM/CL_IM_WF_RR_CCTR_SC
Now in this method I am getting the approver details from ECC, if no approver details is found I want to throw a error in the SC saying no approvers found. Since I could not pass any error message via that method I wanted to implement a check in doc_check badi if there is an approver against a line item, if not then it will show error to the user. Instead of calling and using the entire logic again in doc_check badi I wanted to check if any method can be used to retrieve the approver for the item during runtime.

    Hi Experts,
We're using the standard MSS time approval without workflow and here're 2 issues we have:
There're multiple time records for multiple employees in MSS for approval.
    1. When manager tried to select all the records for one employee and click the "Approve" button in the collective approval screen, then all the records will be approved including records of other employees.

    Hello Kamalbabu,
after Migration of our ess applications from WebDynpro JAVA to Web Dynpro ABAP we have a problem that sounds similar to the one you descriped above.
In POWL the button 'details' (detail view) for leave request approval seem to have no function.
Because your post is a few years old, I guess you solved the problem and hope you can share your solution with us.

  • Additioanl user-field in approval detail screen

    Hello,
We would like to add the shopping cart number as a user field in the detail screen of the SC approval trx. (BBPSC07)
In the detail screen in the standard SRM 5.0 the only field which are displayed are (in the additional especifications):
    Name of Shopping cart ....
    Notes for approval...
We want to let appear here als the SC number.
Im not sure we can acomplish this by using note 672960
This note is about adding fields to documents, not about adding fields in trx.
Anyone done this before? Please help me out.
    Thanks,
    Aart

    Hi,
This seems to be bit difficult....However you could try modifying the ITS template  to display the SC number which is a std field.
Look at these threads which discuss similar reqt:
Add Custom field in Approval Screen
    Custom Field in Check Status

  • Email Template containing approver details

    Hi all,
I am in urgent need of sending the e-mail template to the Approver for approving the request in FIM 2010 containing details as follows:-
Approver's Name,Request CompletedTime and request Timeout
I have already tried [//Request/ComputedActor],[//Approval/Approver] but none revealed the result.
Request parameter doesn't contain these attributes and Approval/CompletedTime just does not resolve.
    Please help!
    HBB

    <Going through old threads>
Approver's name isn't needed since the email is sent to them. Plus this is a multi-valued reference attribute and you can't get those to resolve properly in the Email template. Finally the approval object points to the request and not the other way around.
As for when the request was submitted you can do [//Request/CreatedTime]. Unfortunately the timeout is set on the on approval object (ApprovalDuration). The best you could do here is say "You have three days to approve this request before it is escalated."
Then use that template for approval workflow activities that have been set to three days.
