SC Vendor flag on PO level populated from contract

Dear all,
maybe you can help me with this topic.
I have an external vendor (B)  who should provide components to a Subcontractor (A). So the first PO is for my subcontracotr with the item category L, secondly as I do not have the component on stock the system is triggering a PREQ and from there I would convert to a PO. In this PO to Vendor (B) I have to mark the "SC Vendor" indicator along with the Subcon Vendor (A) number.
As the PREQ for my external Vendor is coming out of MRP I would like to automate the process using a Contract for the component where the delivery adress of the Subcon Vendor (B) is maintained. Source list is created, contract entered and fixed.
However, I get an error message when trying to assign a source of supply that I should also mark the SC vendor indicator. The OSS note 857367 states that this is normal system behaviour but then I would need to handle these PREQs manually and not automated via ME57 and so on.
I am pretty sure this worked in the past for a different client, but somehow I cannot get it to work here.
The final end would be of course to link the Subcon Vendor to an MRP area but I would like to avoid this for now.
Any thoughts? Is that populating of the "SC Vendor" flag from contract to PO working for your systems or do I miss something?
Thanks in Advance,
Mr. MM

This SC flag and the SC vendor had always to be set manually in our POs.
I think there was something developed to make it happen at your former client.
Didn't you establish a good relation to people from this client, a telephone call could clear all your doubts.

  • Item level billing from contract

    Hi Friends,
I have a service contract with two line items. Periodic billingis activated for this contract. When I crate a billing doc with reference to the contract using T.code VF04 both the line items in the contract will come into billing doc.
My requirement is that user should be able to select for what ever the line item he wants to bill from the contract. Is there any T.code OR any way I can select the line items from contract to bill.
    Thanks ,
    Ashok S

    Hello Ashok,
If you use T code VF01, then you have an option to select Billing items.
After entering contract no in VF01 screen.----on top right hand side there is a tab of of Selection List having green page symbol on it.
Press this tab and select line item accordingly to invoice.
    Revert if not resolved.

  • Modification in copy control from Contract to Sales order

    Hello Gurus...
We are using a standard copy control routine to copy header and item level data from Contract to Sales order.
Now what happening is the price for some items is changing after creation of contract. But when the sales order is created it is copying old value from contract.
I want to modify the routine in such a way that I can redetermine the price for the item.
I can not change configuration as the same is used by multiple company codes and the change is required only for some company code.
    Any suggestions please?

    Hi there,
You have do some customizing in the pricing type at the copy controls in item level.
Define a copy control routine at the item level in VOFM. In the routine put a condition that the system should read the value in the pricing type. As per your requirement if the company code / sales org is 1000 / XXXX for eg, then the system should apply the pricing type that will carry out the new pricing at the order (I am not connected to SAP right now so not sure what that pricing type is). If the company code / sales org is apart from 1000 / XXXX, it should default the pricing type that is there in standard copy control VTAA.
Check if that is possible with your ABAPer. What I feel is that you have to hard code the pricing type value (that will carry new pricing) in the new copy control routine.

  • Outline Agreements - min order qty and regular vendor flag

As a part of E Source Integration with ECC we are planning to leverageusing Outline Agreement(Contract Type MK) to store
Price and other Business Terms for Material / Vendor combinations. Currently we are
using Purchase Information Record with minimum order quantity and
regular vendor flag functionalities, and these are maintained manually.
We intend to use Minimum Order qty and Regular Vendor Flag
indicator in Outline Agreement as well, however noticed that these fields are
not available in the screens. Does anyone know if these fields can be enabled in an outline agreement?

    Guys
    thanks for reply..
But I thnik my question was not fully clear as the aswers didn't make sense to me...
As a logistics consultant .I know that I can maintain Min Order qty for a material + vendor at PIR level..
My question ..if I buy 10 items in a PO from a sinle vendor..is there any option to restrict Min qrder qty for these combination of materials..
or in other words vendor says he dont care about number of items ,but the lot lot should be min..10 cartons only..
    appropriate points will be rewarded.
    thanks in advance.

  • Blocking Vendors on Company Code level

    Hi,
Our Purchasing Organization has multiple Company Codes. Is it possible to block certain vendors for a Particular company code without affecting the other company codes which might be using that vendor??
What exactly we are trying to do is block all future Purchase orders & Requisitions from being created for a list of Vendors for one company code. We do not want it to affect other Company codes within the same Purchasing Org which might be using the same suppliers.
I know about XK05 but I think it puts a "Purchasing block" at the Purchasing Org level only and not on the Company code level. Is there any way to achieve this??
    Your inputs are really appreciated.

    Hi Martin,
If you want to Block the Vendor for a Particular Purchase Organization and Company code then Go to XK05 and Select Vendor Pur Org and Comp Code and in Posting Block tab Activate for Selected Company code and in Purchasing Block tab Activate for Selected Purchase Organization and Save.
Before this you need to set the following to Error.
SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Environment data-Define attributes for System messages
ME 023 Vendor & blocked for purchasing organization &
ME 024 Vendor & flagged for deletion
ME 025 Vendor & flagged for deletion for purchasing organization &
For XK05 Message ME 023 would work.

    Nani.

  • Massive Update of Return Vendor flag and creation of Customer Data

    Dear.
For many vendors I need to run a massive update of return vendor flag of purchasing data and creation of  the linked customer.
I have tried to create a batch input recording using LSMW but the system send an error message WY164  It is not possible to copy data from field 'Returns with shipping proc.'
How can I solve this problem ?
Or do you know another solution to run a massive update of return vendor flag of purchasing data and  creation of  the linked customer ?
    Thanks

  • JDC addr on contract account populated from standard mailing address...HELP

Hi, I am having a problem with the JDC address field on the Contract Account being updated with the standard mailing address when the customer uses a different mailing address other than the service address (connection object). This is causing an issue when we try to post FICA charges or dunn at an account that is using an out of state mailing address.
Has anyone had this issue? What did you do? I was under the impression that the JDC addr field was being populated from the connection object.
    Thanks

    Hi Lisa,
Every Contract Account picks up the standard address from the Business Partner.  However you could control this by Changing the fixed address at the contract account level.  If you go into transaction CAA2 ... You will see the header as seen below..
Contract Acct   200000012853 Cont. Acct Cat. 02  Utilities Contract Account
    Partner/Address 1000145433   ROMA HAWKINS    227 CHERRY AVE / HAMPTON VA 2
    Valid from      07/17/2008
Next to the Address here you can see a FIX check box.  We can create a new address as per the connection object address on the BP address list and FIX the CA address based on the new address in the Business Partner.   Similary the JDC address also can be changed this way.
However this is a manual process.  If you want this to happen during the move-in process, custom code will have to be written wherein when a new contract account is created, the list of addresses are shown to the Customer Service Agent and ask them to pick the Address which will be set as the FIXED address in the Contract Account.  We had once implemented this enhancement for a Utilities customer in US.  Let me know if you require details.
    Regards,
    Yuvi.

  • Data transfer error when checking the Return vendor flag (LFM1-KZRET)

I am working on a conversion program to update Vendor Master with return vendor flag (LFM1-KZRET). When ever i do it manually it works fine. But, if i try it through recording or BDC program i get an error saying '
It is not possible to copy data from field 'Returns with shipping proc.'. Please can any one let me know if there is any other method to update this data or any OSS notes to be implemented to solve this error.
The problem is only occurring when we try to update the field while doing recording or BDC.

    Hi Rob,
I have already checked the note 964533 and i feel that its the solution to my issue. But our system is on release 500 and this note only supports release 600. We were not allowed to implement it on release 500. I have sent a customer message to SAP for asking the possibilies of implementing this note on release 500 and regarding any side-effects and waiting for there response. Thanks for your help and just want to know whether you have ever faced this issue.

Post the sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and requirements right in your message. If that information is already availabel on some other web page or file, it should be easy for you to copy and paste it.
    Hi,
I'm having issue by flagging lowest/leaf level for CUBE rollup purpose, due to there's no parent or child relationship parameter table, thus the is_leaf / connect by function cannot be use :(Acutally, the data you posted (if I interpret it correctly) does have a parent-child relationship: '1' is the parent of '1.x' , where x is any number. You could use CONNECT BY and CONNECT_BY_ISLEAF, but I think it will be more efficient to use a semi-join (as shown below) or an EXISTS sub-query.
However it is pretty obvious to be differentiate because the data is at follow:Different things are obvious to different people. Even if you and I agree that the results are obvious, we might disagree on what those results are. Say what you want.
I'm guessing you want something like this:
    SELECT     p.*
    FROM          table_x  p
    LEFT OUTER JOIN     table_x      c  ON  c.col_a  LIKE p.col_a || '.%'
                               OR  (    c.col_a  = p.col_a
                            AND  c.col_b  LIKE p.col_b || .%'
                       OR  (    c.col_a  = p.col_a
                            AND  c.col_b  = p.col_b
                        AND  c.col_c  LIKE p.col_c || '.%'
    WHERE   c.col_a  IS NULL
;This assumes that col_a can not be NULL.
If you'd post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for the sample data, then I could test this.

  • I want to exclude certain vendors up front of proposal creation from F110

    Hi,
I want to exclude certain vendors up front of proposal creation from T.code F110.
Meaning - I would use the range 850000 - 999999, but I would also like to exclude for example vendor #'s  912271, 912771, 959281 from this proposal.
Currently the only way to exclude a vendor is to skip it from the proposal after it creates.
But is there anyother to overcome with this issue because it requires lot of time to find vendor and then delete it.

    Hi,
Its possible to exclude with the help of field LFA1-NAME1 in the free selection screen.  Select the field, give the names and mark exclude values indicator.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks
    Krishna.

  • CVS commit comment no longer populated from task after upgrade to Mars

    Hi,
after I upgraded to Eclipse Mars, I no longer get the CVS commit comment populated from the active Mylyn Bugzilla task.
    I have installed:
    Eclipse Mars CDT edition
    Mylyn Context Connector: C/C++ Development
    Mylyn Context Connector: Eclipse IDE
    Mylyn Task List
    Mylyn Task-Focused Interface
    Mylyn Versions Connector: CVS
    Mylyn Versions Connector: Git
In the preferences under Mylyn, Team I have the same Commit Comment Template that I used with all previous Eclipse/Mylyn versions:
    ${task.key}: ${task.description}
    ${task.url}
What is missing to get the CVS commit comment populated again from the active Mylyn Bugzilla task?
    Thanks
    Stephan

Sam Davis wrote on Wed, 15 July 2015 10:56CVS support has been moved to a separate feature. You'll need to install Mylyn Context Connector: CVS Support (org.eclipse.mylyn.team.cvs).
Thanks for the suggestion, Sam. Unfortunately, I can't find the "Mylyn Context Connector: CVS Support" when I select the "Mars - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/mars" update site. Must I get that from another update site?
Note that I forgot one relevant plugin in my initial question. In addition to the plugins listed there I also have installed the "Mylyn Context Connector: Team Support" plugin. So the full list of Mylyn plugins that I have installed is:
    Mylyn Context Connector: C/C++ Development
    Mylyn Context Connector: Eclipse IDE
    Mylyn Context Connector: Team Support
    Mylyn Task List
    Mylyn Task-Focused Interface
    Mylyn Versions Connector: CVS

  • Vendor from Contract not defaulting in Shopping Cart in SRM 5.2 Classic Scenrario

We have the Classic Scenarios implemented for Indirect Procurement. There is only a one contract maintained for the Material group + Vendor combination on the ECC system. When creating a Shopping Cart the Vendor shows up under the "Source of Supply" section. Shouldn't this default into the Vendor field as there is only one contract maintained? Is there any configuration that can prevent the vendor from defaulting? Please advice.

    Hello,
The MM PO price value is calurated as in INR only but it is still taking the conversion as it was earlier
as the vendor currency is in GBR.NOw as it has changed to INR no conversion has to take place but
    it is still happening.
If I need to debug, which programs I need to, because these are ITS templates where
PO creation will happen at backend may be i think through RFC calls.
    Thank you for your inputs.

  • Baseline date not getting populated from SRM invoices posted to ECC 6.0

    Hi,
We are currently in ECC 6.0. The SRM system is in 4.0. We have this particular problem that the baseline date is not getting populated from the Invoices posted from the SRM. The baseline date is blank and the document is saved.
Did anyone face the same problem??? Can you please refer SAP note 541934 and expand........
    Thanks

    Hello,
Yes, you could check the attached note 541934 and regard the implementation of the field ZFBDT in the invoicing document.
Note 541934 provides a solution how to achieve the MM-customizing for payment baseline dates getting effective for invoices with SRM-origin. This note needs to be applied at your ERP-MM-side in the former plug-in-layer. As described in the note, this is a modification. It's recommended to apply in non-productive system first.
Hope the above infor.are helps for you!
    Best Regards,
