Scaled Price in MDM Catalog

Dear MDM Experts,
What is the method to create scaled price for an item in MDM? For Example if you buy 1 pc of pen = 1€/pcs; if you buy 10 pcs the price is just 0,98€/pcs; if you by 100 or more, the price is 0,95€/pcs. In CCM it can be solved, is it in the MDM too?
Thanks,
Ádá

Hi,
You can use the concept of validations in data manager. In validation tab you can write the expression as:
If count=1 price  =1€
elseif count=10 price  =.98€
else count=100 price  =.95€

  • SRM MDM Catalog- Scale prices

    Hi Experts,
I am aware that, we can upload multiple quantity based Prices in Qualified Look up Table called "Price" in SRM MDM Catalog repository like stated below :
    Qty   Price
    0-10   2$
    11-22  5$
But i don't see any option available to enter range value's in Lower Bound field of "Price " Table.
    Please assist.
    Kind Regards,
    SK

    Hi Padhi,
normally the price base quantity field is to say how much has to be divided the price
    so 1000 EUR for 50 pieces >> 1 piece = 1000/50
The fact is that in the Catalog you have more than one entry for the price, and you have to decide which one you want. The system is not so smart to change the price based on the quantity.
Anyway I tried as you suggested to insert the same price base quantity as the lower bound:
    Lower bound: 1 - 100 - 1000 piece
    Price: 10 - 5 - 1 EUR
    Price Base Unit: 1 - 100 - 1000 piece
In the Catalog I can see the three entries and I can decide which I want.
I choose price 5 EUR but with 1001 quantity (for which the price has to be 1 EUR).
In the shopping cart I have 1001 pieces, price 5 euro per 100 pieces = 50,05 EUR.
This is not the result we want as Scale prices.
Do the Scale price work in your system?
    Thank you and Regards,
    Maria

  • SRM - MDM Catalog: Price Variation by Plant

    Dear Experts,
My client is seeking to implement SRM 5.0 with MDM-Catalog to interface with their existing R/3 4.7 backend.
Due the nature of their business, the price paid for an item can vary according to plant (as can rebate entitlement, etc).
Can MDM-Catalog store such price variations, and display the appropriate price to the end user in SRM based on their plant?
Thanks in advance for the help - points will be awarded.

    Hi Cherry,
I would like to do something similar. I would like to call the MDM catalog from SRM and hope that MDM can determine the price based on the plant.
I clicked on the link you provided but it contained a lot of other links and does not seem to relate to this issue.
Conceptually, I understand what needs to be done but because I am using MDM specifically for SRM, there is already an existing pricing table in the system. It is currently using non-qualified fields such as Lower Bound unit, purchasing info record id and purchasing organisation. Should I add plant to this table or create a different pricing table?
Also, I feel that I am missing a link here. How does MDM knows where to get the plant data since this field can be anything (plant, division, etc)? Isn't there a need for SRM to pass this plant information over and then how is it mapped to the plant field for the item to ensure that the correct price is being picked up? Or have I totally misunderstood the functionality in that I have to create a mask/named search down to that level so that the user can only see the plant specific data?
Appreciate any clarification to the above.
    Cheers!

  • SRM MDM catalog  with Negative contract price

    Hi SRM / MDM Gurus,
I am facing a problem, when transferring contract data from SRM MDM catalog 3.0 to SRM 7.0 shopping cart process.
    Scenario:
We have a u201Cnegativeu201D contract Price in MDM and the same I can able to see in the SRM MDM catalog. When trying to add that contract item to shopping cart the price is always positive. For example the SRM MDM catalog contract price is -100.00, when trying to add that item to shopping cart it is always 100.00.
Is there any configuration or OSS to resolve this issue?
Kindly also let me know is it  possible pass negative value to shopping cart?
Kindly let me know your comments.
    Thanks.

  • Updating net price in ECC PIR to update MDM catalog price

    Hi Experts,
We are using ECS in SRM 7  , and ECC 6
We have done a workaround and we push our ECC PIR to MDM catalog, The SRM requesters pick the material from the catalog, and the vendor and vendor price gets attached in the SRM SC.
We want that the net price in ECC PIR should change as per the last PO. Once this net price changes in the PIR, this price will go to the MDM catalog and will update the price , so that the requester can create the SC with latest price.
Therefore, please suggest me ways to change my ECC PIR net price as per the last PO
    Rgds
    sumendra

    Hi Jason,
We have been able to acheive the functionality. We have written written an enhancement in program of meccm ECC t-code, which enable to pick up the price .
    The logic is :
If there is no entry in table EIPA for a info-record number and P. Org, Info record extraction program RM06CCMEXP (T code Meccm  ) in ECC , should send the net price field (EINE-NETPR)
If there is are any entries in table EIPA for a info-record number and P. Org, Info record extraction program RM06CCMEXP (T code Meccm  ) in ECC should loop in the EIPA table, select last entry and send the Net price field (EIPA-PREIS)
    Thanks

  • ECC TO SRM-MDM CATALOG THROUGH SAP PI

We have a scenario where we are sending data from ECC to SRM-MDM Catalog through SAP PI and data is coming from ECC through proxy and sending to SRM u2013MDM catlog through file adapter. In ESR part we have used SAP defined standard service interfaces (CatalogueUpdateNotification as sender interface and MDMInfoRecordDataTransmission as a receiver interface). The mapping used is also standard one.
Now we have got requirement to send the data for vendor mat no, manufacturer field of info records from ECC to SRM-MDM catlog.  But we are unable to find out these two fields in standard interfaces/messages. Can anybody guide us how to add these fields in the current data types or is there any other standard interfaces we can use.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shiv,
    Many thanks for your reply.
Since we're not using XI / PI scenario and this is an upgrade from SRM 5.5 to SRM 7, Iu2019m using the same approach that was already used in SRM 5.5 with CCM 2.0.
The idea is that the catalogue and all the records maintained need to be associated to a contract. So, I add the contract ID and the correspondent contract item in the import file, in addition to the supplier name, product ID, price information and so on. I mapped the contract ID with the field contract price.
In relation to the price information fields, as I want it to be visible for any user that accesses the product catalogue, I tried different approaches:
    1.Using OCI Price information u2013 amount, currency, price base quantity and price base quantity UoM;
    2.Using OCI Price contract u2013 amount, currency, price base quantity and price base quantity UoM;
The first approach didnu2019t work very well, as I was not able to see price information when accessing the catalogue. I could only see it once I transfer the items to the SC. In addition, this approach had one problem. The products were displayed but it was not possible to select the items one by one. To do that I needed to select all the items of the catalogue and after that the detail of the contract ID was displayed in every item, allowing me to choose the items that I want to select to my SC.
The second approach was better as the information was visible when accessing the SC and I was able to select all the items, one by one, as it should be. The main problem of this approach was that Iu2019m getting errors in the SC when the materials have stock u2013 u201CInterface data contains errorsu201D. Or alternatively, if the items didnu2019t have stock, the SC was possible, but when I tried to create a PO from that SC, It simply does not work.
So, can someone help me? Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Andreia

  • Is use of flat file in SRM-MDM catalog search UI possible ?

    Hello,
When user looks for materials inside SRM-MDM catalog (using search user interface), search is done manually with free form or drill down search.
Then, among the search result, user has to select items he wants to add to his shopping cart and finally transfer those items from his shopping cart overview inside SRM.
Is it possible to automate this user selection using for exemple a flat file uploading (or any other way you could know) ?
This flat file will have material number (or service), supplier code and quantity (no more information).
The aim of the request is to help requester to not have to select each item one by one (in the search result) knowing that :
    -  SC will have more than a hundred items,
    - delivery time and price (for example) must be checked in MDM, being the master data reference
    - materials (or service) to order are received by requester via a flat file without any information about prices, so i cannot upload my flat file directly into SRM because file missing data must come from MDM.
With this process, user should have only to transfer items automatically selected.
Could you please share your advises ?
    We use SAP MDM 5.5.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

    Hello Masa,
    Masayuki Sekihara wrote:
A vendor look at buyer stock information like VMI and fill stock weekly base. So the vendor sends material number and quantity information as flat file to buyer. Buyer should create SC from flat file and price information should fetch from catalog.
Yes, your are correct: example you gave corresponds to process for my SC uploading.

  • Price from MDM is not transferred to shopping cart in EBP

    Hi all,
we are implementing MDM 2.0/SP2 for SRM. Actually the catalog content is fully available, the only problem is that I don't get the price from catalog into shopping cart via OCI. When I browse through catalog coming from EBP every price in MDM-shopping cart (WEB UI) is displayed correctly. When I transfer the articles from MDM-shopping cart to EBP every field is transferred correctly except price. When I test with Fiddler I also don't see price coming in, and I also don't see any system message in system log SLG1 of EBP.
    These are my settings:
Price in MDM data manger like:
         Price Information: 1| |AVL Graz|12.14| Euro
    OCI:
NEW_ITEM-PRICE            Price Information -Amount (not transferred)
NEW_ITEM-CURRENCY    Price Information - Currency (transferred correctly)
NEW_ITEM-PRICEUNIT     Price Information - Price Base Quantity  (transferred correctly)
Did you guys have a similar problem before?
    Best Regards Thomas

    Hey Thomas,
As specified by u can see items with their prices in the Data Manager as well as in the Shopping cart but not on EBP side.
These were the settings u had specified:
    OCI Mappings:
NEW_ITEM-PRICE Price Information -Amount (not transferred)
NEW_ITEM-CURRENCY Price Information - Currency (transferred correctly)
NEW_ITEM-PRICEUNIT Price Information - Price Base Quantity (transferred correctly)
Please do check wether the items which u r purchasing is having all the values populated.
Bcoz as given u havnt specified Orderunit field and Minimum Quantity UOM.
As per my understanding to purchase any item, and take it onto the EBP side with its price the Orderunit field must be populated with Unit of Measure.
After inserting values in Order unit and Minimum Quantity UOM then go and check wether its price is taken from the Shopping cart to the EBP.
    Please check it will work
    Do let me know
    Hope dis helps u
    Regards Tejas...............

    HI,
1.With SRM 7,0,can we use CCM oor MDM is the only option???
You can use any catalogs which support SAP OCI interface.
2.Is it better to have MDM as a seperate server and enable SRM MDM catalog content?
MDM Server(contents) and AS Java(for UI) are required. Please check the installation guide.
3.We have 2 punch out catalogs for 2 vendors. How to enable the punch out catalog links in SRM 7.0???What is the path for IMG config??
Same as SRM 5.0. Define External Web Services.
    4. We have around 20 internal supplier catalogs .Now should we upload few of the supplier catalogs and then upload rest or can we upload all the suuplier catalogs at once through IMPORT MANAGER in MDM ???What are therestrictions in terms of the no of catalogs or catalog data that can be improted and mapped ???
Yes. You can use Import Manager. No issues.
6.The backend master data such as Supplier/Porg etc.....how is that synchronised from SRM to SRM MDM catalog???Is it through some scheduled programs???
      MDM Extractor is available.
7.What is the use of PI/XI in enabling SRM MDM catalog??Why is it mandatory??
      Mainly for contents mapping.
    8. What are the allowed file types for cataog data upload in MDM???Like it was CSV in CCM...
Any. Even for DB interface is also supported. You see all options when you run import manager.
    9. Where can I find some sample catalog files for test upload?
Sample repository definition is delivered. You can manually create 1 entry by Data Manager.
10.What are the lastest SP for MDM available for integration with SRM 7.0??
You can find it SAP Service Marketplace. http://service.sap.com/swdc
    11. after price changes from supplier(thru negotiation),are these price changes to be updated manually for indiavidual items/products through MDM data manager or is there any way to automate this delta update for price in MDM???
You can use contract and contract items are transfered to Catalog.
12.Also maintaining catalog data in MDM for SRM procurement will be a seprate actibity just like maintaing catalog in CCM??
      Yes. Catalog is just Catalog.

  • MDM catalogs to be used for PM-SRM scenario

    Hello All,
We are in a situation where we are using the SRM-MDM scenario for regular shopping carts. And also would like to leverage these MDM catalogs for purchases made in ECC Plant Maintenance "work Orders" for non-stock ECC material numbers maintained in ECC.
These material numbers in ECC will have a Manufacturing Part Nmber (MPN) in the material master data.
Since we had some difficulty connecting these SRM-MDM catalogs directly to the ECC work order we would like to bring these requisitions generated by "Work Orders" and push them to SRM. (Standard SAP)
Once these Requisitions come into SRM as SC.. the system automatically approves this SC (Which is standard SAP)  but in this process we would like to know if there is a way the system can automatically make a call to MDM based on the Manufacturing Part Number (MPN) and bring in the price and the vendor details back to the SC automatically.
Currently we are using SRM 6.0 and MDM 2.0 in our landscape..
Any suggestions will be appreciated and rewarded..

  • Decimal places in SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0

    Hi experts,
Iu2019m using SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0 and Iu2019ve an issue related to the decimal places configuration.
Our products are defined with 2 decimal places and after importing the records I can see them in Data Manager with the correct price information. However, when I access my catalog in EP, I can see all my records but without any decimal places. For instance, if I define a price 1.25 Eur for one product, in EP I have 1 Eur.
Can someone help me? Itu2019s really important that we can show the product correct price.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
My problem was in MDM Data Manager - currencies table. If you choose currencies table, select your currency and check if there are any decimal places defined.
You can also check in MDM Console price table u2013 amount u2013 decimal places.

  • Shopping list in SRM-MDM catalog?

    Dear Experts,
What is the use of shopping list in SRM-MDM catalog?
I have created a new shopping list in the system. I have filled the name, description and other details in the new shopping list.
When I select my shopping list, the button u2018Add to shopping list u2018is still disabled. How we can add new items to a newly created shopping list? My understanding is that a shopping list is created to include different shopping items  as favorite list?
What is the function of the button u2018Share/Unshareu2019 ?
Please, help me to understand the functionality of shopping list in SRM-MDM catalog 3.0?

    Shopping Lists
You can use this function as a:
Template for orders that are made regularly
    Search criterion
    Prerequisites
Your User Interface (UI) Configuration Manager has given you shopping list authorization.
A shopping list must have at least one item in it to serve as a search criterion.
To display all items in a shopping list, the search criterion must be reset before the shopping list is selected.
This is because the search UI treats the shopping list as a search criterion. Consequently, any other active search criterion reduces the items displayed to a subset of all the items in the shopping list.
To display all shopping lists, including empty ones, on the Shopping List tab page, one of the following conditions must be met:
No other search criterion has been entered
    The search has been reset
    Activities
When a shopping list is selected as a search criterion, the system restricts the search by removing any items not included in the list from the search result.
Items can be added or removed from shopping lists in the shopping cart preview.
    Note
Depending on authorization, users can modify either their own shopping lists or those of others.
This function provides search strategies for locating products, displaying product item details, and transferring items to procurement applications such as the cart. The Search User Interface (UI) can be configured to meet individual user requirements.
    Prerequisites
The User Interface (UI) Configuration Manager is responsible for configuring the search UI.
If you cannot access some of the functions and features listed below, check that your user has been correctly configured. For more information, see User-Specific Configuration: Product Procurement

  • Decimal Places are missing in the MDM catalog.

    Hi ,
We are implementing MDM 3.0 for catalogs along with SRM 7.0.
The prices in MDM data manager show all the decimal points , example $34.27.
But when we punchout to the catalog, i see the decimal places missing, example $34.
Do we need to do some settings in UI ?
Can you please help me resolve this issue.

    Hi Raj,
We have exactly the same problem. Can you please share how you resolve this problem?

  • Scenario - ( EC6 - XI - SRM-MDM Catalog )

    Hi,
I am working on Scenario"Transfer Info records and contracts from ERP, Auto Import of contract and info Records from ERP".
    Scenario:
    <b>
    Sender Side:</b>
=>Run Tcode: MECCM in ERP system and send Purchasing info records to Catalog system via XI.
    <b>Recvr Side:</b>
=>Same will be received as XML file in a file location(FTP Server running on SRM MDM catalog system).
    <b>
    XI Side:</b>
=>I have uploaded XI Content in repository and same has been transported to Integration Directory also.
=>Using Intergation scenario configurator i have done all configurations in Integration Directory also.
=>I have configured XPATH in condition field for interface determination as dicussed in SAP OSS Note 967088 to be used for ths scenario.
=>Now when i am running the tcode from sender side message is getting stuck in SXMB_MONI with error: No receiver Determined.
I can understand there is some problem in Receiver Determination. When i tried to check all settings, only thing i found fishy was There was no Interface mapping being displayed in Interface determination but condition field is filled as discussed in SAP note 967088.
I doubt there is some problem in interface determination only.
Expert comments are required. I can send you screenshots if required.
    Any help is appriciated.
