Scan to Email and Yahoo Second Sign-In

I am trying to setup scan to email on my HP printer and it's having problems with Second Sign-In on Yahoo. I've turned off Second Sign-in and everything works fine but when I reenable it (on Yahoo) and generate an App specific password for my printer the software tells me I have "incorrect credentials" failure. I've used app specific passwords in Yahoo before so I know this feature works but for some reason the HP software doesn't like it.

I see you are having issues with the setting in Yahoo and Scan to Email on your HP printer. There is no option to enter the information Yahoo is trying to ask for within Scan to Email. Even though other Apps have worked with this, Scan to Email will not.

Try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Scan to email and sign in using network authentication - M476dw

Hi, I've at long last got almost everything set up. The printer is connected wirelessly and prints fine over the network. The scanner is able to scan to a directory on my computer. The scan to email profile is set up and tested correctly, and I have set up the Networking>Access Control to have Access Code enabled, all features set to "local device" with "device guest" checked as well.
When I try to scan from the machine to email however I get the following message:
"The Scan to Email feature is not available for use. You must sign in using network authentication (Windows or LDAP) in order to use the Scan to Email feature"
Is there really no way to scan to my email without those incomprehensible setups? And if not, does LDAP or Windows sign in require specialized equipment as well, or just to be able to wade through the jargon? If the latter, can you please point me to a clear instruction for how to set it up with terms defined, as the help file I've found was totally incomprehensible to me.

BT Internet email and Yahoo

Hello all
Obviously I have an @btinternet.com email address (which I never use for email, all messages are forwarded to my Hotmail address).
I also have a completely separate login for Yahoo which I've had for years; I don't use Yahoo email but use it for membership of Yahoo groups and Yahoo Answers.
My computer/browser can't seem to differentiate between the two now and so takes me to Yahoo email. What's the best way to manage this - use different browsers?

That would work.
I find that if I log out when I've finished and don't tick the "remember me" box when logging in, then there isn't a problem.

BT Emails and Yahoo Mail App

I have been looking at the changes BT are bringing in when they move emails away from Yahoo. I currently use the Yahoo Mail app on my iphone. BT say they are not going to be introducing an app when emails are moved across. Does anyone know of any alternative apps? I do not want to use the email facility on the iphone as I would like access to my inbox and sent items and I would rather not have to keep sigining in to webmail to check for emails, the Yahoo App alerts to new emails.
The only option I can think of so far is to start again with a new Yahoo Mail account but then I would need to keep my BT email address with all my historic emails.

You need to set it up to use IMAP. See this link how to do it

New email and Yahoo profile

I have reluctantly upgraded if that is the word to ythis new email which seems to be even slower and with larger adverts and keep getting a message "You are setting up your Yahoo profile" I keep clicking no thanks but it comes back every time I log off. does anyone know:-
1/ What is it
2/ How can I get rid of it

I don't think you mean Messenger - I've had the profile page pop up a couple of times on my primary account, which doesn't have Messenger active
Here's my test account to show you. This one has Messenger active. Click on the Messenger icon (shown in red to the left) and you sign out of Messenger this way.

How can i choose sending a scan to a cartain email address?Can i set my fax up without a landline? If so can get fax messages to an email account?

Iphone email and yahoo accounts!

I just got my iphone yesterday and I have linked it to my yahoo email account. but the problem is that, my yahoo email is linked to another email account (not yahoo, it's my school email account). Now, when i go to get my email from my ipod touch, only the yahoo mail comes up, and i can't figure out how to check my other email that is attached to it. Does anyone know how to set it up so I can do that? There is an option of adding another outgoing mail server, but i'm not exactly sure if that's what will fix it...please help!

I'm not quite sure I follow exactly.
If I am thinking is what you're having issues with, then simply try this.
While in the iPhone's Mail program, see if you notice a back arrow in the top left corner. Tap it to get out of the Inbox, then tap it again to go to your Accounts page. You'll have all your added accounts listed here.
If you only have one account on the iPhone and want to add another, go to "Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Add Account". Find out your school settings from your IT department there and put it into "Other".

I have changed primary email and can't sign in now

I have changed primary email on my Apple ID Account because this mailbox was closed, and unfortunately i changed address on my other, and now i can't sign in in the changed Apple Id account. this mailbox has closed I couldn't verify the changes. How can i repair this or move my goods in other Account?

Tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (or at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app or Music tab in the iTunes store app) and log out of the account and then log back in with the updated version.

Cant sign into the itunes store. Already verified email and have been signing in for a year.

so i was trying to redeem a movie today and when i got to itunes and clicked redeem it asked me to sign in and i did and it said this. the apple I.D cannot be used for the itunes store. Can somebody plz help

I did notice that you said everything you have obtained you've legally bought. Because if there was anything in there that you didn't buy with your AppleID but WAS purchased with another AppleID this will happen.
If this is not the case their is a possible issue with your account. Only reason I say this is because it's happening on both of your computers. So both of them have the exact same library? Do you have another computer you can sign into the itunes store that has none of your content on it and if so does it continue to happen?
Have you tried un-installing and re-installing itunes? Are you up-to-date on both versions of iTunes?
If there is an issue with your AppleID you might need to contact Apple and get an RTA sent to SSE(Site Support Engineering) to troubleshoot your account.

Cannot Delete Scan To Email Address on Officejet Pro 8600

I created an email address from the Officejet 8600 control panel for scan to email. I also created two other email addresses by accessing the embedded web server in the Officejet 8600. All three email addresses appear using the 8600 control panel, but the one I created from the control panel is not lised in the E-Mail Address Book when I use a browser to access the embedded web server.
How can I delete the one I entered from the control panel on the printer?

Have you tried power cycling all the devices involved to see if the email setup with the Control Panel of the printer will show up in the list under the EWS?
Unplug the router while on
Wait 30 seconds
Plug router back up and wait for it to completely power up
Restart PC
Unplug printer while on
Wait 30 seconds
Plug printer back up for power
If this still does not get the desired results, then the next best option is going to be to reset this printer to a factory state. This will remove all input data and settings you may have put in the printer. This will also remove the setup you have established for scan to email and will have to be re-setup. I wanted to let you know this beforehand, but this should get you the results you are looking for. I will send the steps to perform this reset in a private message. Before performing the steps please read Bob_Headrick's thread on printer resets, found here.

8500A PLUS - Scan to Email - to another 8500A Plus email address will it print with no PC?

Wanted to know if anyone has tried using two HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus SCAN to EMAIL feature without the use of a PC. Anything to look out for before spending the money on two of these units? Basically i want to set one up at my office the other at my home and use them without a pc using dsl internet to send and receive scans .

If you have 2 8500a with the scan to email option you will need a pc to set up your scan to email and once that is done you could register those 2 printers and enable eprint and using that address you could scan an item from one and email it to the other and it will work using eprint. I see that you can not find a way to remove an Email from the Scan to Email App. Have you tried to delete the App and re-install it?
To do this, log into HPConnected.com. Click Services and then make sure the printer is selected. Click Settings and then Remove this Printable. Using the Search box, type Scan to Email and install the App again.

Opening Email and other aps

I just upgraded to OSX from 9.1. I want to know how to open my applications from 9.1, like my OE email and Yahoo email.

Never mind. I found the answer.

ICloud wants to use my old email address on my Mac. It won't accept the updated email and password.

How can I get it to sign me in with my new email? (It is listed as my primary email, but iCloud pops up with the secondary email and won't sign me in with it.)

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. Now try using your current password to sign out of the old account, even though it's asking for the password for your old ID. If successful, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Then you can go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password.
