i ve hp laser jet mfp 127 fn .......When i turn on the power botton....... after sometime yellow triangular sign appears and start blinking......scanner error 13 comes on the display......scanner and photocopier doesnt work.....i ve search ur wen site but couldnt get the solution

I see that you are getting a Scanner error 13, you can't scan or copy. I can help you with this.
This maybe a hardware issue. I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.

  • HP LaserJet Pro M1217 nfw MFP - Scanner Error 22

    We are having Scan/Copy/Fax issues. Specifically "Scanner Error 22" (Yes 22, no not 52). I cannot find a manual specific to this model. When I bring one up via HP's website the actual pdf of the manual is for two other versions and they have the Error 52, not 22. So I am not sure what to do.
    We have tried to resolve by powering down, unplugging, replugging etc., it hasn't worked. It was already plugged directly into the wall vs. strip. 
    We have uninstalled/reinstalled the software. Still no change.
    The error comes on as soon as it powers up. 
    If you open the scanner bed there is a red light in the top left corner, I assume the scanner has become broken some how and would need to be replaced, but, we are no longer sure who paid for the printer/if it ever had a warranty so we are trying to fix it any other way possible. It is less than a year old. 
    (The printing capabilites [sending from computer itself] work perfectly and the prints are beautiful. I hate to throw out a machine that works a little bit, just not all the way)
    Any suggestions?
    The computer it was installed through is running Windows 7 SP1 32 bit. The machine is also connected through ethernet, nothing else I could see. I checked for any computer updates or driver updates that may have caused problems. Nothing I could see.

    I see that you are getting a Scanner 22 Error. I can help you today.
    I have provided a URL to check the Warranty on the printer. It should have a 1 year warranty depending on your location. Check your product warranty.
    Here is a document on how to do the full reset on the printer. I wasn't sure if you followed this procedure when you did the power reset yourself. A 'Scanner Error 22' Message Displays on the Printer Control Panel.

  • HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw Scanner Error 22

    Purchased this product today. 3 scans later, Scanner Error 22 appears. I consulted the rudimentary troubleshooting guide. Unplugged product for 15+ seconds, no improvement. Updated firmware, no improvement. Very disheartening to purchase something and it fail on me the same day... Help please.

  • Scanner error 6: HP LaserJet Pro 400 color MFP M475dw does not get through initialization phase

    My lJ400 MFP475 detects a problem with the scanner unit after chewing on it for several minutes and never finishes intitialization. Initially you can hear the scanner head move softly, but after less than a minute it starts rattling at the end of every move.
    After a few minutes I get the message "Scanner error 6, Turn off then turn on".
    I did that, again and again. Also with cables removed, waiting for some time etc.
    In the Event log I can see the following:

    Any clue?

  • Scanner error 22 message on LaserJet M1212nf MFP

    I have a  Laser Jet Professional MI212nf MFP printer which I use at the office for photocopying, printing and scanning documents. since last week, it has been showing a scanner  22 error and as such I cannot photocopy anything from it. Kindly help me what do to with it to correct the error.

    Printer stuck with Scanner Error 22. Bought this printer less than a month ago. Trier several cycles of powering off / on, tried settings reset etc. Error 22 still stays, scanner doesn't work.   • Scanner error 22 with HP Laserjet M1210 MFP

    Hello - I have an HP Laserjet M1210 MFP (fax, printer and scanner all in one) that has been working until yesterday.  Now I am getting an error message "Scanner Error 22".  I have tried to unpulg and replug the machine after a few minutues multiple time and restore factory default.  But it still show the same error.  I cannot make copies.  I am frustrated and not sure what else to do.  Please help!

    The document scannere is having issues.  Could be the ribbon connection, the scanner motor or the scanner assembly is having a hard time moving along the rail.  If the unit is under warranty, bring in for service.  If out of warranty all I can suggest is do a google search for the service manual and look for instructions for removing the scanner bezel and remove it and see if you can slide the scanner assembly back and forth and make sure it is seated correctly on the rail.  I have had a couple of similar models where the scanner had sort of come off the track and removing the bezel and reseating solved the problem.  Hope that is your issue and not a defective part in the scanner assembly.

  • Getting scanner error 22 from my HP Laserjet Profession​al M1213nf MFP.

    I'm getting the scanner error 22 when i try copy a page using copier function. After that i have to restart my printer to vanish that error. I've also checked the firmware version by printing config report and it says the frimware datecode is 20130211 and software version is 20121108. I've also used HP Print and Scan doctor to fix the error. But nothing seems to be working for me. So please help me .......

    I understand you are getting a scanner 22 error.
    Perform a power reset.
    Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
    With the printer turned on , disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
    Wait at least 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
    Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
    Update the firmware on the printer. I have included the url.

    Acrobat pro 8 scanner error 200010. I am using a Canon all in one fax scanner laser printer. Acrobat prints correct but does not seem to recognize scanner. Using MAC Pro Intel / 9gb ram with OSX 10.6.8 and Canon Imageclass MF4350 d printer/fax/copier/scanner device. Acrobat shows Canon MF 4350 USB as only device in scan menu. I believe it should show Canon MF 4350 FAX but no option to change device in scan menu. Help would be appreciated

    I am having trouble with my scanner. it shows scanner error #5 and tells me to turn off and and on. I do that and does not clear. Any Ieas what the problem is and what I can do to fix it?

    Are you able to place a sheet of paper on the scanner glass face down, and make a copy of it?
    If so, I would recommend making sure the printer's power cable is plugged directly to the wall outlet, and not a surge protector, Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
    I would also recommend resetting the print system as well, if you have not already. Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system.
