Scanning multiple pages - pop-up for "Next Page" appears

I'm running Acrobat Profession version 7 on OS X 10.5.
My scanner is an Epson Perfection 3170 with an automatic document
feeder.
The settings for scanning seem to have been goofed up -- any
assistance in resetting them would be appreciated.
Previously, I could drop a handful of pages into the feeder, choose
FILE => CREATE PDF => FROM SCANNER in Acrobat, set the scanner to ADF
(automatic document feeder), and it would create a single PDF from the
whole stack.
Now, the first page scans, the second page feeds through without
scanning, and then I get a pop-up called "Acrobat Scan". It says,
"Next Page" and "Front of Sheet 2" is selected (no other options) --
and I can choose DONE or NEXT.
If I choose NEXT, it scans the next page (and then skips another page).
When I choose DONE, it goes back to Acrobat and the PDF is created.
(Obviously, every other page in the document is missing.)
It never did this before, and it's kind of pointless having an
automated feeder if I have to stop after every page.
A few points:
- reinstalling the Epson software did not help
- I notice that I get a separate pop-up the first time the scanner dialog opens -- this pop-up allows me to choose a scanner (only one is currently installed). Don't remember getting this before the problem started.
- I have another program that uses the same scanner -- it continues to scan multiple pages without interruption. Ergo, I assume this is an Acrobat issue.
Any suggestions on fixing this issue would be appreciated.

I've tried turning the scanner off/on, both after the computer is booted and when it's shut off.
Between the need to select "Next Paqe" all the time, and the fact that the scanner skips every other page, I'm really annoyed!
Does anyone have any other suggestions on where I might find a solution? I considered contacting Adobe, but their per-incident support seems kind of expensive.

Quit the iBooks app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or ....Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or ... Delete the book and download it again in the purchased tab of the iBook Store, as long as you use the same Apple ID, there is no charge to download it again.

Print out multiple copies for next page in sapscript

For check printing the client wants the next page with item data to be printed out twice, while the first page along with the check will be printed out on a pre-printed paper. Can anyone advice me on this.

Multiple-page table starts on next page

When I include a Table which is more than one page long in my Pages document (version 5.5.1) it always starts on the next page. It does not matter how much space there is on the page. Even if there is only a single line on that page.
I included the table as "Inline with text". Can I force it to start on the same page or is is a general bug of the newes version of pages? It used to work last year with an earlier version of Pages.

this drove me crazy. What works for me is this: instead of adding normal "returns" after the last paragraph or table, add a line break by pressing Shift and Return at the same time (i.e., as if you want to continue within a paragraph, but start a new line anyway). If you turn on menu point "View => Show Invisibles", then the result of a normal Return is the weird mirrored P character. After pressing Shift-Return, you will see an arrow pointing down and to the left.

Did Lion eliminate the finger gestures for show the previous page and show the next page? I've checked system settings for the track pad and it looks like the got rid of one of my favorite finger gestures when browsing the internet. How do I get it back

I've upgraded to LION. It looks like LION eliminates the finger gestures within internet browsing that used to yield navigating to the previous page or navigating to the next page. I think it was a 3 finger swipe to the left and a 3 finger swipe to the right. It looks like this has been eliminated. I've gone into the system preferences and went through all the new settings for the track pad finger gestures. I've not found a combination that allows me to swipe on the track pad to do the page forward / page back function.
How to I get this back? I was my favorite one and now I can't get there!

For going back to the previous page try a 2-finger gesture. Two fingers in the other direction will take you back.

How to Create Blank pages & no links for more pages

Hello,
just started using iweb ...is there a way to create a blank page not associated with pictures, podcasts movies etc and I want to create a site with multiple picture pages but i dont want a link for every single page on my heading or that area between my header and the body.
whats happening right now is there is a link for every page in my site on the heading if i keep this up my heading will look like a big paragraph

If you want a page not to be displayed in the navigational menu, then just click on the Inspector and click on the Page tab (second from the left). Under the name of the page (which you can also change here) there is a box to include page in navigation menu. Just uncheck that box and your page won't show up. Of course, I assume you will have a link to the undisplayed page(s) from other pages that are in the menu.

Since new update, I get blank page pop ups instead of page requested

Last week, I got the latest update for Firefox. Since then, whenever I connect, for example, on Facebook and want to open Farmville, Facebook will open but I will get a blank page for Farmville. I tried sending an email to my internet provider, from their site, but email page never showed, instead, I got the blank page pop up.

This may be caused by a problem with an extension or theme, try the procedure in the [[troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.

How to move one page header details to next page lines details

         I have a requirement in custom page one field having a check box's like enable or disable and in that page one "Select" button.
         Once we enable the check box and click on "Select" button it will move into the next page and display the selected rows in that page.
     How to achieve this please help me in this.

How to make a template in Pages that wraps to next page

I almost always use my Pages '09 in Layout mode. I have a long document that I supply to vacationers on Cape Cod of all the gluten free restaurants and food stores. It's 17 Pages long. Because places open or close I am doing adding and subtracting of listings all the time so this document is in word processing mode so it automatically reshuffles when I add new places.
I want to brand it a little bit more and each page is going to have a small graphic and one line on the edge that is horizontal (at bottom of page) and one line that is verticle at the left side of the page.
I can't figure out how to do this in Word Processing mode. I can't move the graphics around like I can in Layout mode. I can put them in text boxes and move them that way to the desired locations.
However, if I add text boxes the text isn't wrapping from one page to the next.
I really love Layout mode is there a way to get it to take the over flow of text from page one and put it in the text box on the next page automatically?
I'm not sure how to do this project and I hope someone can give me a quick answer!

Is there any "skip page count" command for last page?

Hello,
May I know if there is a command(such as even-skip-page-count) specifically for the document last page?
I have a requirement where PO/Invoice T&C should be printed at the back of the last page only.
The blog of Tim (http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2007/10/here_are_my_terms_conditions.html) covers
only odd/even printing.

nagornyi is correct.
i will just expand a bit on the use but it can be found in the documentation.
you will need to add a section break to the last page of your report
and also remember to add the header information of you report.
I may be wrong but when I left the header info out it was not printing.
header information goes above the tags and footer(totals and stuff like that) below the tags

Previous page button working as next page button

Even when I create or take a button from InDesign library with previous page function it works as next page. How to fix this?

1. Is this happening with a particular project or with all the projects?
2. Is this happening only when you click a link to a bookmark or with all the links?

i have developed an applciation where in which i want users to have acces
to some pages and some pages are secured they can be viewed only after entering some credentials.
how can we do this some body help me

Create an authentication scheme and an authorization scheme (under Shared components)
and in the page attributes (top left) you can select these schemes to be active for the page.

Page title variables for master pages in muse?

I'm new to muse and I cant seem to find an option for variables page titles like there is in Indesign. I have a navigation bar and I would like it to show the current page title in a speific spot of that section. Am I over looking this feature?

This is what I was after. I want to beable to do page titles in the view it self. I do large prototypes/mockups in muse.
Typically in a website you'll have a page title in the top left corner. If I have a 20 page design putting in those titles can become tidious

How do I add a "return to top of page" button/link for long pages?

I've created several long pages within a web site. Is there a button or link that can be used, created, and placed in the middle and/or at the bottom of the pages that will return you to the "top of page" without having to scroll all the way back up? If there is one in iWeb, or if this has been discussed before, I can't find it. Thanks.

Hi there,
easiest way would be to have link "Link to: one of my pages" and link to the page itself.
To me doing this the page doesn't have to completely reload (thus there is no transition displaying a an empty page).
Another way would be using Anchors which is a bit more complicated... Usually they are used to go down to a certain point of a page but it works the other way around too...
