Scary alert/notification appeared on lock screen saying 'watching you beware?

I hadn't been on my phone for around half an hour and when I pressed the home button the notification/alert came up saying watching you beware and a dismiss button and found this extremely worrying and hope someone could tell me if it's a virus and what I can do to remove it, thanks

i would take it in.

  • A way to have notifications appear on lock screen but not activate the screen each time I receive one?

Using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 I like how I can have my notifications appear on my lock screen (usually for a new email) but dislike how every time I receive a notification, my iPhone screen lights up with the notification. Is there a way to continue receiving notifications on my lock screen but not have the screen illuminate every time I receive one? It's a constant distraction when I am at work, and I like to keep my phone turned face-up on my desk in case I get a call.

    No

  • Email alerts not displaying in notification center on lock screen (iOS 7)

    Hi,
I am having issues receiving email alerts in the Notification Center when accessed from the lock screen.  I don't want to see the alert directly on the lock screen, only in the notification center.  Here are my settings:
So basically, the Notification Center is allowed on the lock screen, but the alert itself will not be displayed on the lock screen.  However, when I get a new email, it does not display an alert.  If I unlock the phone, and check the Notification Center, the alert is there.  If I turn the "Show on Lock Screen" setting on, then I do in fact get the alert both on the lock screen and the notification center.  What is really weird is that if I check the Notificaiton Center from the lock screen (where nothing is displayed), and then unlock the phone the alert is no longer in the Notification Center, as if I had already accessed it.
What is also strange is that these exact settings work perfectly fine for texts and fairly consistently for my personal email.  However, it has never worked for my work (Exchange) email.  In both cases I am using Push.
Is anyone else able to replicate this issue, or do you have a solution?
    Thanks,
    Aaron

Still an issue for me in 7.1

  • My ipod wont show any notifications on the lock screen and it did before. what should i do to fix this?

HI so i no longer receive notifications on my lock screen when someone texts me or a twitter notification comes up or anything and i dont know what to do about it

If this is the problem following the instruction.  Frequently it is a hardware problem.
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
Otherwise try (assuming that other devices see your network)
    - A reset. Nothing wil be lost
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power of and then back on your router.
    - Reset network settings: Settings>Genral>Reset>Reset Network Settings

  • Sliding notifications from the lock screen in iOS 7

    Hi,
I'm having problem sliding notifications from the lock screen on my iPhone 5S/iPad Mini. This is more to do with iOS 7 than iPhone/iPad. When I try to slide it, it takes me to the unlock screen. Please see attached screenshot for details. Hope Apple could fix this soon. Also, I would love to know if anyone else faced this issue.

    thanks

iPhones require a SIM card for activation, regardless of whether it is being used as an iPhone or an iPod.
Put a SIM in the device for the carrier it is locked to and activate it.  The SIM can then be left it it or removed.

I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

  • How do I remove the birthday notifications from my lock screen?

Basically all it says is its "XXXX's birthday in 4 hours at 12:00am" I don't care/ need to see that on my lock screen, I'd rather it was just empty and clean looking. I've tried going into settings > display > lockscreen > turn off notifications yet it still says it's whoever birthday in X amount of hours / minutes. Yes I've done a reboot, yes I've gone into calendar settings and hit manage and unchecked all of the associated accounts that might be giving information on when the birthdays are. I also went into my facebook settings and turned off sync events and birthday reminders to none... yet I clearly still have names birthdays on my lock screen... I haven't talked to these people in years I don't need to be reminded about their birthday so I can write two words on their wall...

Actually no that's not it! You have to go to settings then accounts then tap to facebook account and scroll to bottom then tap birthday reminder to none!

  • Still no news on how to disable the sender's ID on the notification banner in locked screen?

Still looking for some more help on this, since I've got no answer from Apple yet.
Maybe never gave it a thought, although all my friends complain about the same thing...
I'll say it again, it is annoying to have the 3rd party ID on plain sight: my clients/friends don't have to see WHO's texting. On the other hand, i can't have the sound on at meetings, meaning I won't know I had a message without fumbling with it to unlock the screen and check the banners.
The light does not work either, because it will flash 2 or 3 times and switch off...
    Thanks!

As far as I know, you cannot hide the sender.  You can turn off the message preview or turn off the lock screen notification altogether.
I assume from what you say that you've already let Apple know what you think.

  • Reject call button does not appear on lock screen.

On the lock screen when I receive a call only slide to answer, remind me later and reply with a text options appear, there is no button to simply reject the call.

I have same problem and it drives me crazy.
You know, since Jobs have passed away, Apple started to do such absurd things, like this precarious pop-up of reject button. Their softwares are starting to get out of control. Look at the screenshot below. Can you believe it? If Jobs were alive, he would never allow this to happen. kekekeke, Apple is definitely going down.
