SCC 2-Tier Retirement Date?

Just saw that they have announced SCC will be retiring finally this CY, but no date. We have some work ahead of us to get our ordering folks able to use this. Any ideas on the date? For FY15 or sooner?

Even if i renew the certificate with a new key pair the validity starts from today's date till 26/02/2017
When you change to new key pair the validity date should change, This seems to be strange.
After creating the 4096-bit key in Certificate Services setup, you can create a root certificate using the 4096-bit key
that is valid for five years. Afterwards, the CA's certificate should be renewed every four years (one year before the expiration of the validity period), each time with a certificate validity of five years.

  • When are retirement dates for certification MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7 and MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7?

    Hi,
So what's the current situation with the MCIPT certifications in Windows 7?
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7
The certifications had previously been scheduled to retire in July 31, 2013.
Then that deadline was extended and they were due to retire in January 31, 2014
Presently, the certifications are listed on the ever unhelpful Microsoft Learning website
    MCITP page and the
    windows certifications
    page.
In typical Microsoft Learning unhelpfulness there is a bland, confusing and uninformative statement saying
"Most MCITP certifications will be retired by July 31, 2014. Please check the
    retired certifications and
retired exams pages for specific retirement dates."
Naturally, Microsoft aren't being specific about which MCITP certifications are being retired.
To be more obstructive and confusing, us poor learners are invited to check the retired certifications page, which only lists certifications that have already retired,  for information about when a certification
will retire in the future. I have seen this done repeatedly in this forum and on borntolearn.mslearn.net in reply to questions about future certificate retirement, which is totally useless and perhaps deliberately deceptive, as the exam aren't
being discontinued and there's no info about future certification retirement.
There has previously been actual helpful information on the Microsoft learning webpages with statements explaining that whilst in a transistion between the older style MCITP and newer MCSA certification for Windows 7, that both certification titles will
be awarded until x date, when the MCITP will be retired and the MCSA will be awarded only. I can't see anything like that on the site at the moment.
    I'd be most grateful if
anyone can link me to a Microsoft press release / blog / webpage that announced the scrapping of the January 31, 2014 deadline (as I must of missed this announcement)
anyone can give an update on the current Microsoft thinking about when this certificate will retire? Especially any links to announcements.
are both MCSA and MCITP certifications still being awarded?
advise what's the best way of staying up to date with multiple changes to exam and certification retirement announcement? (apart from borntolearn, which is awful and again, just directs back to the retired exams/certifications pages)
    Many thanks everybody!
    edit: formatting and spelling

Why choose a near retiring credential ?
    * Have ever you applied for a job with keyword requirements ?  Employers can be (and have been) insanely specific. (Then again that sort of gatekeeping for employment usually guarantees a fresh batch of pathological liars are your applicants, but I digress.)
    * Also could be on a time deadline, e.g. contract bid requires x number of people to be certified, CompTIA requirement deadline could be arriving, and so on.
    * Taking 2K08 exams when working in a 2K08 environment is probably easier than jumping into the next version without any access to it (other than building your own virtual servers or labs).
My current employer uses 2K08 not 2K12.  There are also 2K03 servers still in production (eventually being phased out).
I don't know what the stats are today but (in 2012) 2K08 was leading over 2k12 in market share.
I thought that's what truly drives these exams' and certification's availability.

  • How to send a reminder maill at 3 months before retiring date?

    Dear all,
if I need to send a reminder mail to the related HR administrator before 3 months of the employee's retire date, how should I do it?
Should I write a batch program for it?
Thanks a lot for any suggestions!

    Hello Lucy
You can shedule this program for running every day at 12 o clock.it will not affect system performance.Check infotype 41date type - 42 last working day.(provided you are updating while hiring date type 42).
    Program Logic :
    1. Check infotype 41 date type 42.
2.Check the difference in dates and months (system date and date type 42) using function module (HR_HK_DIFF_BT_2_DATES).
    3.If 3 months ,send a remainder mail.
Hope this will help you for coding.

  • Retirement Date Calculation based on Date Of Birth

    Hi All,
We have 11.1.2.2 PSPB Application where we have requirement to calculate "Retirement date" (in the format dd/mm/yyyy) based on employee's "Date Of Birth", for which i tried with @DateRoll function, but no luck. For time being we tried "Retirement Year" which was successful.
    "Retirement Year"=@INT ("Date Of Birth"/10000)+60;
For Example: If Employee's Date of Birth is 7/11/1946 thru above script i got 2006 as his "Retirement Year", now i need "Retirement Date" as 6/11/2006 which im not getting. I tried in all ways like:
    1) "Retirement Date"=@DateRoll ("Date Of Birth",DP_YEAR,1); got output as 31/03/5127 for "Date Of Birth" 01/01/1975
    2)"Retirement Date"= @FORMATDATE ("yyyyddmm",@DateRoll ("Date Of Birth",DP_YEAR,1)); no luck.
    3)"Retirement Date"=@DATEDIFF (@Today(),"Date Of Birth",DP_YEAR)); no luck.
Also all the Date functions like @DateRoll,@FromatDate,@DateDiff etc returns number representing the date between January 1, 1970 and Dec 31, 2037, is that true? If yes, what functions needs to be used for  "Date of Birth" above the range.
    Please suggest ASAP.
    Thanks in advance.

    Sahi

  • Life Years and Retirement Date in Fixed Assets

I am doing Asset conversion and the client has to enter life in years for all assets and retirement date for some. fa_mass_additions table doesn't have provision for these fields. Also, the client has only 1 book, so default life in years is selected for all and I have to change that after conversion. Can anyone please help me how do I change the life years after conversion of the assets (manually not feasible) and also how do I import the retirement date for the assets.
    Thanks.

My Impression was that only upgrade to 11.5.10 and upwards will deliver this functionality. Can you please give the patch number which fix this problem?
    thanks,

  • Infotype 0041 - Issue regarding entry date, leave date and retire date

    Hi experts out there,
I'm trying to achieve information concerning:
    1. Entry date
    2. Leave date (employee has resigned or will resign) -> Last day of work
    3. Retire date
    4. Last day of pay
Can I get this information from infotype 0041?
Another problem I have is if I do a <i>Pre-Hire Action</i> (Tcode: <b>PA40</b>) and enter a future date for a new hired employee then I cannot find the corresponding record in PA0041. Do I do something wrong?
Any advise would be very appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.
    /hw

    Hadi,
You can get that information from Infotype 0041, but it depends if the user that executed the action entered the <b>date type</b> and corresponding <b>date</b> when reached infotype 0041, if he/she didnt so, it just wont be there. It is not entered automatically.
"<i>It's actually not the answer of my questions because I've been wondering why I cannot find the corresponding record of a Pre-Hire Action (TCODE: PA40) in PA0041 (regardless of if I use SE16 or function modules)"</i>
You will find the records of the actions that were excuted for the employee in infotype 0000 (table PA0000). Infotype 0041 is used to store special dates for the employees (such as date of hiring, next promotion and the like), but it is up to the user if they are stored or not.
    Hope that helps

  • End date should be the retirement date

    Hai
In PA module, irrespective of employees retirement date ( ex. Retirement age is 58 yrs), system shows the default end date as 31.12.9999. but client needs the end date should be the retirement date. How to configure this scenario?

    Mbq,
The following is an example of dynamic action that creates a date info in IT0041 as soon as employee is hired. The date of retirement is 58 years after the hire date.

Is there a retirement date for the Adobe Photoshop CS6, Indesign CS6 & Illustrator CS6 exams? If so, when will Adobe retire these exams?(Not the recertification exams. I don't have any previous certification with Adobe.)

  • How to calculate retirement date

    Dear Guru.
i want to calculate the retirement date.
input for calculating retirement date is employee DOB.
from employee date of birth we need to add 58 years.
any standard function module is there for calculating retirement date.
    please help me .

    Hello Shail,
You have to write the Dynamic Action in IT0002. So that when IT0002 is maintained, Dynamic action is triggered and IT0041 is created.
    1) Let's say, there is a Date Type created for Retirement;  Date Type = R1
    2) to calculate the date you have to do following;
    FC      N0
    S
    Variable Function Part
    =======================================
    06
    01
    W
    P0041-BEGDA=PSPAR-BEGDA
    06
    02
    W
    P0041-ENDDA='99991231'
    06
    03
    W
    P0041-DAR09='R1'
    06
    04
    F
    Get_Retirement_Date(ZHR_DYNROUTINE)
    06
    05
    W
    P0041-DAT09=RP50D-DATE1
    3) Include "ZHR_DYNROUTINE" need to be created. Within this include a subroutine "Form Get_Retirement_Date.....Endform" need to be created.
    4) Inside "Form Get_Retirement_Date.....Endform", you can write your code of the function module to calculate the Retirement date and then pass it in structure RP50D-DATE1;
RP50D-DATE1 = Retirement Date calculated from function
There is another option. You can also develop user exit ZXPADU02. If your hiring action infogroup has IT0041 included, then you can also do this calculation inside the user exit and populate it in IT0041 with correct date type.

  • System does not reset asset retirement date for Depreciation Area specific transaction after area has been deleted

    Good day,
I needed to create a new depreciation area in a live system. The depreciation area would not post to the GL, but would be used for tax purposes in a currency other than the local currency. When creating this area the asset values were translated at the system exchange rate which did not agree with the values of the manually maintained tax register. I proceeded by creating new transaction types that would only post to the new area, one of which was an asset disposal transaction, which would be used for downward adjustment of the APC value. I made my adjustments at the end of the previous financial year, but had to start over and proceeded to delete the depreciation area to allow me to start over.
After reinstating the depreciation area, my original adjustments were removed, however the assets which APC values needed to be adjusted downward using the disposal transaction, was giving me the AA 478 Posting transaction is not possible (value date not allowed) error.
I've reviewed the asset postings and there is no record of my original adjustment documents. The problem seems to be that field ANLA-ABGDT (Last Retirement Date), is still indicating the date of my previous adjustments and that this was not updated when the Depreciation Area was deleted and reinstated.
Again, I do not have any documents which I can access or reverse to update this table. Is there any way to clear this field without reversing the disposal document?
I'm also looking at implementing SAP note 1618286, to make error message AA478 a warning. I could not implement SAP note 533378 since it only supports component version 46c and we are currently running component verson 605.
I would appreciate your consideration of my problem.
    Regards
    Marius

If you are in Test System, you can use function module AA_AFABER_DELETE to totally delete the depreciation area (tcode SE37, specify chart of depreciation and depreciation area), After that recreate your depreciation area and run AFBN. But before you do that, have you created a retirement transaction type that limits the posting on your new depreciation area? If not create one.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks!
