SCCM 2012 Distribution Point not working properly on a Windows 2012 Server

I have an SCCM SP1 site running on a Server 2008 R2 machine. I had a couple of distribution points, also running on 2008 machines. These served as DPs and PXE boot points. I had no problems with these.
I resently added a Server 2012 machine, and set it up as a DP, with a PXE boot point. The servers is part of a boundary group containing about 1500 clients. I distributed all of packages that are included in my main task sequence, and am able
to PXE boot, and image machines successfully.
However, I am having problems deploying other packages and Windows update packages from this DP. It seems like I am only able to deploy packages that have the "Copy the content in the package to a package share on distribution points" enabled.
If this is not enabled, the client will get the deployment policy, but will never download the package. The "In Progress" tab for the deployment status will just say "Waiting for content".
I have checked the rereqs for IIS on the Server 2012 DP, also checked the firewall. Everything that I see seems to be OK. Are there other things that I can check to determine why this DP isn't working right?

If you configured the option Run program from distribution point on the
Distribution Points page of the Deploy Software Wizard, do not clear the option
Copy the content in this package to a package share on distribution points, because this will make the package unavailable to run from distribution points.

R2 - Distribution Point not working properly

From my main SCCM R2 server, I went to add an additional server with multiple roles.
I can't tell if it's working properly, however.
For example, the Distribution Point role. I've set it as PXE boot, and our Cisco admin has setup an IP helper accordingly, but when I go to boot a client to PXE, it gets an error "Windows failed to start".

From Boot Images on the main SCCM server, I had pushed them to the distribution point. Or so I thought? I mean, the "In Progress" tab says the distribution point server name I'm trying to push it to under the "Device" column. Then
Description reads "Distribution Manager Successfully processed package "Boot Image (x64)" (package ID = STL00005)".
But it's been sitting like that for over an hour...
WDS role is also installed on the DP I'm trying to PXE boot from.
Should I disable WDS and then what do I do in SCCM to get it to PXE boot and make sure the boot file for SCCM is on there?

Nvm I got it up
I removed the WDS server but not the role of the DP in question
I then removed the roles from the server within SCCM console
Then added back only Distribution Point, then I was able to distribute the boot ups to it again, no errors in logs
PXE boot working fine with task sequences

Mouse pad not working properly having downloaded Windows 8

Hi, having downloaded Windows 8 to my laptop (HP Spectre xt 13-2000ea) the mouse pad has stopped working properly. The "two finger" page down/up and left/right has stopped working.
I have looked at the mouse settings and it currenlty states the synaptics hardware is installed and working correctly.
Have even gone onto the Synaptics website but have been unable to download something that can correct it. The HP hardware updates page on their support website does not appear to have anything that deals with Windows 8 problems.

Had exactly the same issue with my HP laptop. The Windows 8 driver installed with the OS works OK but the Synaptics driver in the latest Windows Update will not scroll. I had to uninstall the existing (newest) driver and install the HP Windows 7 driver from this site (an older version) then in Windows Update you have to wait for the Synaptics driver update to be offered (obviously you have to do a manual update and not allow it to install automatically) and then right click on it and select hide update.

JRE/JDK 1.3.1_19 Not working with OS Patched Windows 2003 Server DST 2007

We are trying to upgrade our 1.3.1_03 application with 1.3.1_19. It worked fine in a machine (WIndows Server 2003) where OS was not patched for DST. However, as far as I could see if the OS is patched the DST compliant java (1.3.1_19) is not working.
I go to the jre/bin and try to do a java -version and I see nothing from OS patched machine.
Non-OS Patched machines, it works and I could see the java version.
Has anybody faced this problem?
Really appreciate any suggestion.

Edit/update function not working properly on visual basic 2012

help, i'm working on a update function on my aplication program using visual studio ultimate 2012 VB.

A DataGridView knows nothing about the updates done as shown above, you need to update any rows that have changed yourself. For example. lets say I loaded data from a database table into a DataTable, create a BindingSource and assign that DataTable as the
DataSource for the BindingSource. The BindingSource becomes the DataSource of the DataGridView so now when you moved up/down rows in the DataGridView you are changing position in the BindingSource and can read this data via BindingSource.Current by casting
Current to a DataRowView then access the Row property with Field(Of T or SetField(Of T. Couple this will logic to locate rows that may not be the current row and we still can use SetField(Of T)(Col,Value) to update data in the BindingSource which is then immediately
reflected in the DataGridView.
The following is for MS-Access but the same logic applies for SQL-Server database via SqlClient data provider rather than
OleDb data provider.

Headphone with mic not working properly on Bootcamp Windows 7

Hey, guys. I have a Macbook Air mid-2012, installed Windows 7 (Bootcamp) and I wish a I could use my Sony Stereo Headset DR-EX12iP with mic for chatting while playing some games. But the microphone isn't working in Windows 7 and I don't know why. I already searched over the internet about an answer but found none. The build-in microphone of MBA is too much sensitive and bother my friends. Just for information, I use the same headset in Mac OS X and it works perfectly with facetime and skype.

My main problem is that laptop is hangig too much continously. i dont know what is the exact reason and what should i do..Its not heating so their is null chances of heating effect.. Latest windows 7 patches and firefoz 18 - firefox not working properly - shows stacked windows and does nothing

Jan 10 windows 7 patches, plus new firefox update today. Now firefox starts up and shows multiple, stacked window frames and "firefox not responding" messages on top border. after multiple firefox screen flashes (minutes of time), firefox may eventually display normal windows/frames. go to file ->Document prperties and check "show loading staus"
prewiew the dashbaors and check in which stage the dashbaord is stucked, perheps you have configured an external connection and you need to configure the corssdomain file
please try also to export the dashbaors to swf format and try to open it using a browser, if you reporduce the problem so please follow the sap kba 1767433

DirectAccess on Server 2012 R2 with Single NIC behind NAT on IPv4 only Corporate Network Results in "DNS Not Working Properly"

I hit this problem at a customer site and can re-produce it in a simple lab. Lab environment: servers:
1x Server 2012 R2 DC and DNS server - DC1 - 10.0.0.1
1x Server 2012 R2 DirectAccess (DA) server - DA1 - 10.0.0.100
Servers are running "Update" (KB2919355) and following DA hotfixes:
KB2929930
KB2966087
I configured DA (via advanced wizard) as follows:
DA and remote access
AD group
directaccess-webprobehost DNA (A) record pointing to 10.0.0.100
behind an edge device (with a single network adapter)
SSL certificate from enterprise root CA issued to directaccess.contoso.com
NLS on remote server using https://nls.corp.contoso.com
DNS: corp.contoso.com = 10.0.0.1; nls.corp.contoso.com = ""
DNS suffix search list = corp.contoso.com
The DNS server validates successfully in the configuration UI.
With this configuration, I get a static IPv6 address of fd79:7a37:cbd9:3333::1/128 assigned to the NIC
The operations status is all green apart from DNS which displays the following error:
"DNS: Not Working Properly"
Error:
None of the enterprise DNS servers fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 used by DirectAccess clients for name resolution are responding. This might affect DirectAccess client connectivity to corporate resources.
Causes:
Enterprise DNS servers fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 are not responding.
I can, however ping fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 (which is the DNS64 translation of 10.0.0.1)
I would like to know what checks are failing as there are no failures in Event Viewer.
I have come across forums where people have the same issue and fix it by specifying the local IP (in this case 10.0.0.100) as the DNS server, however Richard Hicks has confirmed with me that the DNS server should be set to the DNS server, not the DA server's
IP.

This is not anything ConfigMgr is doing. The cases I've seen similar to this have had a GPO responsible for this behavior from which the site systems needed to be excluded.

That's not something ConfigMgr does. Examine eventlog and see if there are GPOs or whatever is disabling it.

Not working properly Computer Browser service in Windows Server 2012

Migrated from 2003 to 2012 Active Directory, all is good, but the service Computer Browser in Windows Server 2012 is not working properly.
Online, there are several hundred computers, one network, no segments. PDC is the Master Browser, it is in my list of all the computers, but gives customers or Backup Browser computers only part, and in alphabetical order, giving the first 70 computers and
all.
Looked packet sniffer:
Microsoft Windows Lanman Remote API Protocol
Entry Count: 70
Available Entries: 251
So on Master Browser shows 251 computer, and the client 70.
If disabled on Windows Server 2012 Service Computer Browser, Master Browser is a computer running Windows Server 2003. He gives all computers.
What is the problem, how to get Windows Server 2012 to work correctly as a Master Browser?
