SCCM 2012 - Unable to locate any configured SRS

I got this error while configuring the SCCM 2012 "Reporting Point"
Please advise what is the problem even I install  the reporting service in SQL

I am trying to log onto my wireless connection but it keeps telling me I'm unable to locate any wireless network.  I know there are several networks nearby. Is this a problem with my phone or my router?

I found a solution that has worked on both iPhone 4's I have that have had the same issues, and also including not being able to download updates in the App store.
Go to Settings > WiFi and turn it OFF.
Next go to General > Cellular > Cellular Data and turn it OFF
Next go back to Settings > WiFi and turn it ON, (wait a few seconds for it to sync with your network)
Finally go back to General > Cellular > Cellular Data and turn it ON.
I had the same issues on both my wife's phone, and my own, and it fixed it immediately without changing any proxy settings or reboots, (which I did try on my phone and did not work, but did not try on my wife's phone)
    Hope this helps!

  • My iPod touch is unable to locate any WiFi networks

I Have followed all instructions, reset the iPod both using the buttons and via itunes, but the iPod seems unable to locate any active networks... Ay clues as to what I can try next?

Does the iPod connect or even see other networks?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iPod connect before?
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
    Maybe this:
    See:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

  • Can I set a priority in SCCM 2012 for advertisements or any other ideas to fix my Task sequences?

I have several task sequences that I deploy to lab computers that we re-image 1 or 2 times a year.  The task sequences run and install specific software
for that lab after the base image deploys.
The base image is deployed using WDS without SCCM in the mix.  It is a setup they we are using because of legacy business processes that just make this easier.
Then after the machine boots up and gets its SCCM policies the task sequences start running to deploy the software.
The issue I am noticing is that I have no control over what runs first and sometimes Windows Updates that are deployed via SCCM run before or in between the task
sequences that I have running.  Some installs fail because of the pending Windows Update reboot, which I believe I have gotten around just by checking for it and rebooting before it installs the software.  The issue is that the Windows update could
and usually is one of those lovely updates that requires multiple reboots.  The second reboot is killing my task sequence.
The issue is I need to somehow force this updates to run after my task sequences or make sure they run first.  The only way I can think of this is by having
priorities for the task sequences.  I can't just add installing the updates to the task sequence, because the second reboot will kill my whole task sequence there too.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this issue?  I want the machines to install the Windows updates so I can't just remove them from the collection.

That's definitely the best option to do everything via the task sequence deployment.
Also, there are script available in the community to add or remove a device from a collection, see for example:
    http://sccmfaq.wordpress.com/2013/05/20/sccm-2012-sp1-remove-client-from-collection-after-osd/
Keep in mind that if you want to use a script like that during the task sequence that the device running the task sequence (and by that the script) requires specific rights within ConfigMgr.

  • Unable to locate any database objects

Hi, I try to run Query the Inventory Database today with no luck. From
ConsoleOne, click Tools, click Configure DB, click a Zenworks database
object and OK, I got message"Database is configured" I then try to do
Inventory Query, the only choice for Select Attribute is Processor. I try
to select others, such as Memory, Bios, but the OK button is grayout. I
also try to view the inventory summary for each workstation and receive
the message Could not Connect to Database Server, and the last workstation
inventory scan was in Feb. 24, 2004 shown on top of the dialog box. Any
idea in helping me how to fix this? I appreciated.

  • Unable to locate any old files after putting in hard drive enclosure

    Hello,
I dropped my old macbook over the weekend. When I took it the Genius Bar, the tech said the hard drive looked fine (or didn't detect any issues) and recommended using an enclosure to recovery my file.
So after getting the correct one, a rocketfish 2.5 SATA, hooking it up to my imac in attempt to recover files, i see the folder named applications, etc, and i see a user folder, and withint the user folder, a folder with my user name, but it's completely empty! the folder named Shared is also empty. Absolutely nothing this there.
I've looked in lots of places where my files, such as excel, itunes music, word docs, etc might be....but have no luck.
worse yet, it seems that now my imac isn't even reading the enclosure with the old hd!
Thoughts regarding the missing files? Am i missing something? Could someone theoretically have "copied" the files from the old hard drive if i was not looking?? Thanks in advance!!

    Thanks BGreg,
I dropped my old macbook over the weekend. it accidentally fell from my bed onto hardwood floor. and when i picked it up- the screen basically looked very distorted and unrecognizable. although you could not see any physical cracks whatsoever after i turned it off/trying to reboot, when i tried to turn it back on, you could hear it try to boot up (the start up sound, no problems). but the screen look like a cross between kalediscope and a inkblot test. So i took it to the genius bar to see what could be done and how much it would cost to replace the screen, and it wasn't actually too bad ~$250+. but since it was a bit older and i have my imac anyhow, i declined the replacement. He ran some other diagnostics and didn't detect any problems with the hard drive. He said though that even with the replacement of the screen, there is no guarantee that there aren't other problems elsewhere. When I asked how i can recover the files, the tech from the genius indicated they couldn't do data/file recovery but recommended getting an enclosure instead to transfer to my imac. (OS x10.5.8).
So i went and got the correct enclosure (rocketfish), put the old hard drive from the macbook it in....I have so far only been able to have my imac to read the folders listed above once. The applications etc were there but none of my files existed. I did not have any problems with the hard drive prior to the fall. It just seems so strange that applications would be there, but not my files!
Now-my imac is not even reading the enclosue at all!
    thanks again

  • SCCM 2012 Uninstallation

    Hi,
I am stuck at a weird scenario. 2 years ago we had a System Center 2012 POC in our environment.
all servers were shutdown after testing for around 2 years. now we are planning to uninstall the servers and redeploy it form scratch with System center 2012 R2.
the issue that we are facing is that the user that is Full administrator in SCCM is unable to do any task on the console. unable to remove the roles from any DP or Site Server as the remove link is greyout. I cannot add edit or delete any configuration.
    just like below:
this user is having local admin / domain admins rights also.
what should I do ? I need to uninstall it ... need urgent assistance
    Regards
    Phaixan

     ConfigMgr
site system role is automatically added to any new site system created by the site component manager.
to add role, right click on the server and select specific role.
You cannot remove the 'site system' role which is grayed out and the only possibility is to remove the server from hierarchy ,if you dont need it. There is no point in keeping these servers without hosting any roles.
To uninstall/Delete the server, right click on it and choose delete,it will be removed from hierarchy.

  • SCCM 2012 Client (Connection Type: Currently Internet)

    Hi
I migrate SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 R2 on Windows 2012. (no problem)
I configure OSD to deploy Windows 7 SP1. When i deploy a Windows 7 on computer test, no problem, but a SCCM client on the computer = Connection Type: Currently Internet ???
I try: SMSSITECODE = AUTO, SMSSLP= servername, etc....
    I check "boundary", log files
But if not install SCCM client with OSD and after install client manually = no problem.
    Do you have any idea?
    Thanks

I try: SMSSITECODE = AUTO, SMSSLP= servername, etc....
    Hi,
SLP has been merged into the Management Point in SCCM 2012.
Are there any useful information in the relevant logs(Smsts.log, client installation logs)? There should be some information about client install properties.

  • SCCM 2012 with MDT integrated: dynamic logging to \\servername\share\failed\computername or ...\succesfull\computername

    Hi,
I have this SCCM 2012 standard CM task sequence which writes its logs at the end of the task sequence to a folder. When succesfull to\\server\share\success\computername, when failed to \\server\share\failed\computername
It then also sends a mail with location of logfiles.
Please advise on dynamic logging within sccm 2012 R2: how do I configure this? In ini-file, I set the SLShareDynamicLogging to a servershare?
    J.
    Jan Hoedt

It would be customsettings.ini in MDT and this is not available in native CM12 task sequences. Integrating MDT in CM12 would add that. You can set task sequence variables in CM12 though using computer variables, collection variables, task sequence steps
or scripts during the task sequence.

  • Integration with SCCM 2012?

Does anyone have any experience in integrating SCCM 2012 with VSM? Any documents or learnings from an asset management standpoint so that the CMDB can be populated?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Chris,
Only the VMware documentation I'm afraid, which isn't at all comprehensive but is enough to get going I think.
I don't know how familiar you are with integration and the federated cmdb so forgive me if you have all this already, but check out the downloads section (https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/details?downloadGroup=SM_919_DOC&productId=171&rPId=5685) and look for:
VMware Service Manager connector for Microsoft SCCM Technical Notes  (VSM_90_Connector_for_SMS_SCCM_TN_v1.0.3.pdf)
    Connector Installation Guide  (vsm-91-connector-guide.pdf)
    Integration Platform Configuration Guide (vsm-91-integration-platform-config-guide.pdf)
Check those out and if you have any questions, do shout and I'll do my best to help if I can!

  • USMT to User State Server (PXE) sccm 2012 r2

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I have spent quite a bit of time searching and not really finding any good material or if it was even possible.  Our information security officer wants us to scrub all of our assets during the reimage
process.  This eliminates the possibility of doing hardlink USMT through PXE.  We start all of our images from PXE and don't make the reimage task sequences available through the operating system
My question is there a way to back up to the USMT server from PXE?  We are currently running on 2008 R2 and SCCM 2012 R2.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

This thread should answer your above question plus a bit more.

  • SCCM 2012 Automated e-mails to customers

    Hi all,
I'm deploying software updates on a monthly basis for several device collections. To notify our customers, we want to sent out 2 automated e-mails every month:
Mail 1 (Pre-updates): Notify customer that Software Updates will be applied in x days. Included with a list of servers that will be impacted.
Mail 2 (After updates): Notify customer which updates were installed on each server in the list from e-mail 1.
Is something like this possible out-of-the-box with SCCM 2012 ? Are there any products on the market that provide a solution for this ? Is it possible with scripting ?
Does anyone have experience with this ?
    Kind Regards,
    J. Monnens

It can be achieved by creating a two subscription ie to get in detail report of each patches you can create a subscription based on  software updates compliance category  report
collection vs update list and a schedule to send an email Pre-patching and post patching so that your requirement is fulfilled.

    Hi Kamala,
The problem is that you can't create a report that includes a list of servers and their applied updates.
You can only create a report for one single server at a time ....
How can this be achieved ?
    Kind regards.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 - Unable to deploy or configure PullDP's

After upgrading to SCCM 2012 R2 CU2, I'm not able anymore to promote new Distribution Points acting as Pull DP's with the source servers set. This was configured and worked as expected under SCCM 2012 R2 CU1 where the 2 DP's were setup as PullDP's. After
Upgrade to 2012 R2 CU2, I decided to switch everything over to use HTTPS instead of HTTP as it is getting closer to production. In this process I uninstalled a DP and tried to promote it back, yet when I try to select a DP as source, it lists none.
Venturing a bit ahead, if I try to modify the PullDP's on the one that upgraded to SSL as expected, this also appears to be "broken" if I strip away the single DP it has and add in a new, so this change has not been applied to it.
After sleeping on it, I decied to try to do this via PowerShell instead, to no avail.
    Output of powershell:
PS BKA:\> Set-CMDistributionPoint -SiteCode 'ABC' -SiteSystemServerName 'RemotePullDPFQDN' -EnablePullDP $true -SourceDistributionPoints 'PrimarySiteServerFQDN' -SourceDPRanks 1WARNING: One or more source distribution points are invalid.Set-CMDistributionPoint : Validation of input parameters failed. The DP's are also MP and FSP's for the purpose in a "remote" untrusted forest, this is for them to have localized content available to lessen the load on the firewalls AND the Primary Site Server itself (6000+ laptops and desktops).
Any thoughtson how to promote the PullDP back?

  • How to reduce configuration cache file Quota size located in ( C:\Windows\ccmcache ) for all client from SCCM 2012 server

How to reduce configuration cache file Quota size located in ( C:\Windows\ccmcache ) for all client from SCCM 2012 server
    Thanks in Advance
    NTRao

    Hi,
There are numerous ways to change the cache size.
You could deploy a vbscript to a collection of the devices.
    On Error Resume Next
    Dim UIResManager
    Dim Cache
    Dim CacheSize
    CacheSize=20000
    Set UIResManager = createobject("UIResource.UIResourceMgr")
    Set Cache=UIResManager.GetCacheInfo()
    Cache.TotalSize=CacheSize
Or you could use a configuration item.
    http://blog.coretech.dk/heh/configuration-items-and-baselines-using-scripts-powershell-example/
You can also use the right click tools by Now Micro on a collection, if all the servers are on this would be the easiest / quickest way.
    http://www.nowmicro.com/recast/right-click-tools/
    http://www.david-obrien.net/2013/02/how-to-configure-the-configmgr-client/
    select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID, SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType, SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name, SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier, SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup, SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.OperatingSystemNameandVersion like '%6.2%'
