SCCM Cleint Installation on Windows 10 Machine

Hi All,
I was trying to push SCCM Client on a Windows 10 machine & i got this error :-
it's clear from the log file that the OS version is not supported, but is there any workaround for this ?

Correct, Windows 10 is not officially supported yet. In this case it means that client push does not work, yet, as it checks for a Windows version. A manual client installation, or task sequence deployment does not provide that problem.

SCCM Client installation to only Online machines from All Systems Device collection through Client Push

How can we create a device collection based on only online machines , than use that collection to install the sccm client through client push method.

I have installed a 32 bit program that uses a 16 bit installer on Windows XP machines. The software developer of this program is out of business.
Can Windows 8.1 32 bit run a 16 bit installer? If not, any suggestions as to how I might install this program?

You need to to install Windows XP in Hyper-V, because start from windows 8, they no longer support 16bit program.
or you already try DOSBox?

I'm following the below steps to install OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 Installation on Windows 2008 64-bit machine. However the installation is unsuccessful as it fails at the "Domain Creation" step. It would be very helpful and greatly appreciated if any workaround is provided. Thanks!

With a single user license, you can install Acrobat on maximum two computers, say, your laptop at work and desktop at office.
But, you cannot use Acrobat on both the machines simultaneously.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from the old machine, then install and activate the software on the new OS with the same serial key.

You have to install update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2861663 to your SCCM server to adds support for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
Other then that should be the same as other client (Push\Logon Script\GPO etc.)

SCCM Console install on Windows 8

I have upgrade our SCCM installation to 2012 SP1. When trying to install the console on my local Windows 8 machine, I receive the message "Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Console does not support per-user installations".
I've tried both the .exe and .msi with the same result. Has anyone seen this before? My machine is Windows 8 Enterprise, btw.

I have installed the Admin console several times on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. However exactly are you running the msi? Exactly what command line are you using?

Cap 4 Installation Problem On Vista Machine

I'm having difficulty with a particular Windows Vista
machine. I have two machines that are almost identical - both
Gateways with Windows Vista Enterprise 32-bit OS, both 2 GB of
memory. One has only one hard drive while the other has 2 physical
dirves --- C: and D:. Cap 4 installs and runs OK on the machine
with only one drive. It installs with no fuss on the machine with 2
drives. (I installed both using an account with Admin rights.) But
when I launch the program, it will not open any .cp files. I select
one of the built-in demos, like demonstration.cp, it acts like it
is loading it, the progress bar scrolls across the status bar, the
status bar shows the path of the project, the name of the project
appears in the title bar of the window, but it never opens the
project.
I can create a blank project, then import slides from any
project into the blank one.
When I attempt to record a new project, it sounds like it is
capturing the screens, but when I press the END key, I get an audio
failure. I'm not recording any audio.
When I do attempt to record audio for a slide, when I click
the Settings button, then the Calibrate button, I get nothing.
I compared the install log from one machine to the other. The
only difference I could see was on the machine with two hard drives
I found property settings for D:\, even though I installed to C:\.
The references were:
System64Folder = D:\
ProgramFiles64Folder = D:\
GlobalAssemblyCache = D:\
TARGETDIR = D:\
CommonFiles64Folder = D:\
ALLUSERSPROFILE = D:\
ROOTDRIVE = D:\
All these pointed to C:\ on the machine with only one disk
drive. I have no idea if this makes any difference or not.
And we don't have an Adobe support contract, so I can't ask
them.
Does anyboy have any clues?

Error while running setup.exe for oracle installation on windows 2003

Hi,
I am trying to install oracle 9.2.0.1 on my windows 2003 machine and when i click on setup.exe nothing happens. when i tried to run it thru command prompt again nothing happens when i check in computer management => event views it throws following error.
The application, C:\DOCUME~1\barb\Local Settings\Temp\1\OraInstall2006-08-11_05-19-46AM\jre\bin\javaw.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 08/11/2006 @ 05:19:56.356 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 6D4CF9A0 (jvm!JVM_TraceMethodCalls)
can anybody suggest me what could be the problem or i will have to install jvm first and then try installing oracle?

Could not find installation information for this machine contact applecare

I installed Lion on my MacBook, worked great. After 2 months I wanted to clean install the Lion on the same Macbook; went to Apple Support website and there they had instructions on how to clean install Lion.
I followed the instructions and erased the partition where the OS Lion was installed. Then I tried to re-install it, it kept saying "could not find installation information for this machine contact applecare".
When I contacted apple care, they asked me to pay 49 dollars in order to get help from them. I already paid the cost for the LION OS and now they want another 49 bucks. This is just insane. I'm not a fan of Apple, Mac or iCrap. But I was thinking to buy a new Mac after selling this one. Now I have no interest in buying any Mac product. Windows 7 is much much better than Lion OS X.
I have to fix this before I sell it on ebay so Has anyone tried to clean install Lion ?

I'm with you, OS X Lion has turned a lot of stomachs.
Here's how to go about what you need to do:
Get out your 10.6 installer disk, make sure it's clean and polished (bit of rubbing alcohol and a very soft cloth)
Get 2 blank external drives, connect one and hold c and boot off the 10.6 installer disk, use Disk Utility to format the external drive use
Erase>Security Option> Zero all data, wait
under the partition tab
1 partition, option MBR, format FAT
Disconnect and reboot.
Repeat the same procedure for the second drive and format the
Erase>Security Option> Zero all data, wait
under the partition tab
1 partition, option GUID, format OS X Extended Journaled
Quit and install 10.6 on the external GUID drive.
Reboot holding the option key, you can boot off the 10.6 external drive, setup, use your same user name as before, update to 10.6.8, grab your files off the OSX Lion partition, transfer a copy to the FAT formatted drive.
What you do is your choice,
To continue using the machine under 10.6
you can erase the entire (select the whole internal drive, not just the OS X Lion Paritition) and use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone 10.6 external to the internal drive,
To sell the machine with a fresh 10.6 install
or simply hold c boot off the 10.6 installer disk and install 10.6 on the internal drive and upon reboot, just hard shutdown by pressing the powerbutton before going through setup. The next person who gets the machine will be greeted by the setup again.
You can use the files on the FAT drive on your Windows PC in some cases.
Else download the free LibreOffice and it can read quite a few file formats.

As mention here home OS not supported, so as mention here again if you make some googling you can find link&blog which is mention to create WM machine, install linux(you can use OEL linux which is free and can be download from e-delivery site) than you can make 11g installation on it

Making sure everything is allowed through firewall
Rebooting phone/laptop/router
Disabling ipv6
Disabling all networks except the one curently on
Re-installing iTunes
Restoring iPhone
No luck with any of those unfortunately so i just thought i'd see if anyone else is still without wifi sync after trying those as well and if you ever found a fix, thanks.

I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

I am getting a "setup.exe has stopped working" message when trying to install labview 2011 or 2012 on a windows 7 machine. I already tried running setup.exe as an administrator with the same results. I have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 installed on the affected machine. Could this be the cause of this issue? Or does someone know the root cause of such error?

Hi - are you getting it at the start of installation, during or after 100% progress has finished?
Is it just LabVIEW you're installing, or is it drivers too, in which case, what was the last large package that was installing at the time?
