Sccm client 2012 not uninstalling from cmd window

One of the client computer in my organization having software deployment issue, so i would go for sccm client reinstallation. i have used command prompt to uninstall the client as below.
ccmsetup.exe /uninstall. i don't see any progress in un installation. checked ccmsetup.log log file under C:\windows\ccmsetup folder. but there is no update.
May I know how to uninstall the sccm client.

No. It is not running . I don't see ccmsetup running.. and I don't see configuration manager icon in the control panel, and sms agent host services not showing in the services.msc.
If i try to install ccmsetup.exe , there is no update in the ccmsetup.log file. .
Restarted WMI services but no update.
Maybe I'm missing the obvious but if you don't see the service and the icon, isn't that a good thing? Aka isn't that exactly what you want?

only issue it might be is that my pc is also on a wifi network.

    Hi Bigchief247,
I understand that you're having issues with printer printing from your computer.   I would try the Hp Print and Scan Doctor it fixes many common printer problems.

Let me know how it goes.

  • "Apple Mobile Device Support" will NOT uninstall from my computer, so I am still unable to upload iTunes

"Apple Mobile Device Support" will NOT uninstall from my computer so I am still unable to upload iTunes.  I have tried it multiple times in multiple ways and after the uninstall always fails.  Solutions to this specific problem?

I don't know... A link to the official repair advice is given at the top of my user tip. There was a new build of the iTunes 11.1.4.62 setup file released yesterday which is supposed to install cleanly on any system still back on iTunes 11.1.3.8, however they are still giving the same advice for problem systems that have already been upgraded. I.e. the new installer won't repair a currently borked install.
You can download 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and unpack the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe file into its components, then try installing them individually in alphabetical order (don't try to install SetupAdmin.exe or iCloud.msi). AMDS might not install right now, but you may get a more useful error message as to why not, and you might be able to run iTunes even if you can't update your devices at this stage.

The most anoying is this question for every site. Any help?

Uninstall the whole worthless "WebSense" product.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
Back up all data before making any changes.
You will generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation. Until you do that, the uninstallation may have no effect, or unpredictable effects.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
WARNING: Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" such as "AppCleaner" and the like that purport to remove software.

  • Log into a virtual machine on server 2012 r2 datacenter from a windows 8.1 client login

    Hello,
I have set up a VPN on Windows Server 2012 r2 Datacenter using Hyper-V. Everything seems to be functioning ok using the Hyper V platform. I would like to know if it is possible to connect to a virtual machine on the VPN from a Windows 8.1 client using the
widows login and if it is then how to go about it. If I could have some links to tutorials etc I would be greatful. I have not been able to find anything and I have been looking for days. I would really appreciate some assistance. Thanks in advance.
    Ed

    Hi Ed,
I am sorry to say that I am not quite sure of your requirement. Is the Windows Server 2012 R2 computer a host server in Hyper-V? Did you mean that you want to RDP into a Hyper-V VM from a Windows 8.1 client? If yes, you need to allow Remote Desktop Connections
in guest OS. The network adapter type must allow communication with host machine and network discovery mode and the services supporting network discovery mode must be turned on.
    Best regards,
    Susie

  • My SCCM Client does not show all the tabs in the Config manager control pannel

    Hi All,
I have a issue Post pushing a installation on a client. It was installed successfully. But i do not get all the options in the control panel as per the below screenshot.
I reinstalled the client via push from the console during the re installation i got the below errors as per the below screenshot.
Can any one tell me why is this issue happening.
I get all the options in my SCCM DP / Site server control panel but not in the client.
I got the DP role re installed, As well as well as checked the DNS. Iam able to ping from my client machine to the Site server / DP via ip as well as FQDN.
    Can any one please help?
    Gautam.75801

    Got the solution.
    1. Reconfigure the boundary and boundary groups and rebooted the SCCM DP / Site server.
    2. Turn firewall off in the client and uninstall the SCCM setup in the client and Rebooted the client and re install the client via push method from console
    3. Turned off the UAC in the client machine.
Now i am able to get all the tabs s well as Console shows the server as a client.

  • Oracle Client Side connectivity issues from a Windows XP Machine

I am sure most of you guys may have addressed this issue of the time delay the client application takes to retrieve the data from the Oracle database. However, here's my problem.
We have installed a VB application running on Windows Xp along with an Oracle 8i client. Now when the application tries to connect to the database at times the data fetching speed is quick and at times its really slow... takes almost 15-20 minutes.. We're not sure if this is an application issue/oracle client configuration issue or a network issue..
We've wasted alot of time blaming the network/connectivity.. However, is there anything that we would need to check at the clients pc.. oracle config etc.etc.. ???
    Please help..

Might want to try out a couple of things:
    When it's running slow:
    1. ping the server to see the response time of the server.
    2. check the CPU usage on the server. There could be a resource crunch taking place due to other large and/or multiple transactions going on.
    3. kill the VB connection and run the SQL from the command prompt and see how long it takes. Sometimes executing an SQL from the application may take longer, while from the command prompt, it's quicker. In this case, application tuning is required.
    4. check to see the CPU and memory usage on the client PC itself. If there are multiple applications in use chewing up these resources, it can and will slow things down on the client PC itself.
Oracle client does not require configuration as such.

  • SCCM Client on Site Server from Different Site within Same Domain

Our desktop team has a site to manage desktops.
We have a site to manage servers.
Do you see any issue with the Server site managing the Desktop teams servers as their clients?
In other words, desktop wants us to patch and manage their SCCM servers with our site. Placing the SCCM client on their servers pointing to our site.
    Thanks for any gotchas!

Are you talking about different (standalone primary ConfigMgr) sites (e.g. site abc is used for managing desktops and xyz for servers)? And now you want to assign the ConfigMgr clients (on servers used in site xyz) to site abc? This does work, but I am not
    sure if it is supported.

  • Elements 5 will not start from the windows old file after upgrading from vista to win 7

Elements 5 will not start from windows.old after upgrading from vista to win 7

Ideally there should not be any impact of OS change, but officially PSE5 is not supported on Win7.
What exactly happens ? Can you see the processes running in Task-manager?

  • Roaming SCCM Client is not receiving policies from its Default MP

    Hi
We have come across situation where a roaming client is unable to receive policies when the client moves from one primary site to another.
As per this link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb633252.aspx   it should ideally receive policies from its default MP, which is not happening.
the same client is able to receive the policies when we manually assign the new site code.
    Scenario with Example:
Client is from site PS1 and default MP is "Server1"
when the same client travels to another primary site(PS2), it should ideally contact its default management for policies and contact resident MP for content info, this is not happening.
for the same client when manually change the site code to PS2, the client is able to download policies.
Question: why the roaming client is unable to download policies from it default MP..?
    Please Advise.
    Thanks.

  • Automatic SCCM Client installation not happenning

    Dear All,
This is with regards to the issue i am facing in SCCM 2012 r2 CU3. My environment has 1 central server and 5 distribution point servers. The operating system of all the servers are windows 2012 r2. I have created the boundaries and boundary groups. All the
systems are discovered from Active directory. The main problem for me here is while installing the clients i have to do it manually by right clicking the client and install from the SCCM console. Normally this should happen without any intervention. When i
check in the ccmexec log it will be showing as sleeping.
I have done the configuration in the SCCM to install the client automatically, still it is the same.
Have anyone come across this issue.
    Regards
    Suraj

ccmexec.log as mentioned in the original question is not the correct log file; as Paul notes above, it's ccm.log. Thus, have you actually checked ccm.log?
Also, when looking at resources in the All Systems collection (not the devices node) that do not have the client agent installed, do the clients show as assigned to the site code of the site?

  • Cisco Anyconnect Client WIll Not Uninstall - Keeps Interrupting Internet Connection

Nothing in there that really helps my situation.  I have Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client installed from work on my WIndows 8 machine and it will not fully uninstall, repair doesn't work either.  It also randomly (yes randomly) and at boot time (always) makes me at least click on it and "connect" even though the gateway no longer exists,.. After I try to connect to he embedded/saved profile and it fails, I can then ping things and use my browser etc.  I don't want to play with the registry unless someone can tell me EXACTLY what I need to remove.  Please, no vague answers, and don't point me to the Cisco page for uninstalling Anyconnect/Anyconnect help - I have done the research already.

Hi, same issue here. Using AnyConnect 3.1.05187 (tunnel 0.0.0.0, local lan access enabled). Still same symptoms, if trying to answer via Mac, VPN reconnects and call hangs. Works fine without VPN.

  • Adobe Acrobat 8.2.4 will not uninstall without cashing windows uninstaller

I have a Dell 8100 with Windows 7 home 64 bit.  I found Acrobat 8.2.4 would not open.  I attempted to uninstall.  It get 95% through removing files and such and crashs.  It displays ERROR 1316 Network error occurred while attempting to read from file. \windows\installer\acrostan.msi.
If you put the original Acobat 8.0 installation disc and attempt to do an uninstall again it completes about 95% of the uninstall before I receive the following Error 1935  An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy. 8.0.microsoft.vc80.version='8.0.52727.163", type=vin32-policy", publickeytoken="1frc8b3b9a1e18e3b", Processorarchitecture="x86".
This error was caused by an Adobe Acrobat Update. Could we please get some assistance in uninstalling this program.  Is is not asking much to have you support you own software.
I do not think this request is unreasonable nor does anyone of the thousands of other with this same problem.
    Thank you

Acrobat 8.x was never compatible with Windows 7. It should not have been installed. You may try the following:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/333/333227.html
    or
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/400/kb400658.html
But as the article mentions if it fails you will need to speak with a Level 3 support tech. None of these articles address Windows 7 explicitly, since it should never have been installed.
