SCCM Driver Pack for ThinkPad E550

>>> Moved to the proper forum

Hello, We're getting ready to deploy a cart of 30 ThinkPad E550 laptops.  Does anyone know if there's an SCCM driver pack available for the E550? No sign of it on Lenovo's SCCM package index here:http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht074984 If anyone knows where it's hiding, it would be a big help to us. Thanks!-HJ

  • T410, T420 driver pack for MDT deployment

Is there a page where I can get the MDT driver pack for the T410 and T420 models?  The current page (http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?LegacyDocID=SCCM-INDEX) Does not have drivers for the anything older than a T430.
    Solved!

Hi BDS_Vince, welcome to the forums,
    Lenovo's first SCCM packs were first released for the T430 and other Think systems current at that time, please see following linked to thread;
    http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Enterprise-Management-IT/Introducing-ThinkPad-Driver-Packs-for-SCCM/m-p/...
As suggested on page 2 of that thread you could maybe use Update Retriever as an alternative method to manage drivers for older systems.

  • Driver Packs for XP - T430

    Afternoon All,
Just taken delivery of a T430 eval unit which I am using to build an image via SCCM OSD.
Question - to save me hours of work do Lenovo produce XP driver packs for this model? Unable to find them using a search or browsing.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Lenovo does not provide driver packs for XP.
You can save yourself a lot of time and effort by using Update Retriever however.  With UR you can give it the machine type of your T430 (the first four numbers of the product number) and it will find the available drivers without you having to search through our web site.  Then you can select just the hardware drivers to download.  Once downloaded you can export the hardware driver to a speciifed folder that your SCCM console has access to.  Then you can use the Driver Import wizard to import the drivers.

  • Yoga 11e + SCCM driver PAck / Touchscreen

Yoga11e touchscreen non functional after imaging with sccm + lenovo driver pack. Still trying to figure out why.

Both of those drivers are in the SCCM driver pack.  Are you using SCCM or MDT to do the deployment?
If SCCM, what version of SCCM and did you use the Auto Apply Driver or the Apply Drivers task item?
If MDT, did you specify the drivers in a selection profile that just has the Yoga 11e drivers and did you check the box to apply all the drivers in the profile?

  • Yoga 12 SCCM Driver pack

Does anyone know when the Yoga 12 SCCM driver pack will be released?

Hopefully the web site will be updated wtih them by the end of this week.
In the meantime, you can find the Windows 8.1 64-bit package here:  http://download.lenovo.com/luc_test/tp_s1_yoga_12_wb64_20150325.exe

  • SCCM Driver Packs

    Hello All,
I am currently trialing Tosiba tablets for my work and need to push out my SOE image to them.  We currently use dell and lenovo tablets and both these companies have a SCCM driver package with all the needed drivers in one downloadable exe or cab file.  Once this is downloaded I can inject them into SCCM and set the SOE image to use those drivers if it dectets that model.
As an example here are some other sites SCCM packs.
    Dell:
    http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/w/wiki/2065.dell-driver-cab-files-for-ente...
    HP:
    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_Driverpack_Matrix_x64.html
If Toshiba have something similar to this it would save me countless hours of loading in drivers for each model by hand to the task sequence.
    Cheers,
    Nat

  • Authentification when I want to download the driver pack for Equium L40

I already registered my laptop for the warranty, and i have a user name and password, but it seems that i need to register at that specific site from which I'm trying to download and that is a different page on which I didn't found any registration button. The driver pack I'm talking about it's for an Equium L40 10Z laptop. Any ideas ?

No panic dude... it looks like a driver server issue.
I have read in this forum that some routine maintenance must be done.
I would recommend checking the driver page in next few days.

  • T430 SCCM driver pack not importing

I got the T430 driver pack and while I am importing it gives me an error.
Error: Some driver package(s) are updated successfully. But some are not.

Lenovo T430 x86 - The ConfigMgr Provider reported an error.
Error: Some driver package(s) are updated on distribution points successfully. But some are not.

Could be related to this Microsoft KB article / hotfix:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/978754
At least some network drivers require that hotfix to be installed. The driver pack itself works fine, just imported it a couple of days ago into one SCCM 2007 SP2 system.

  • Hard Drive Specs for Thinkpad R51 - namely drive height please?

I have a ThinkPad R51 which I love. I run Linux Mint Maya edition. It has been a faithful laptop for me for several years.
My Harddrive apparently is failing - as it makes loud squeels when I try to run the system. I have not been successful in getting my data off the drive - since I can barely load the OS right now. (Right now I can't load it at all)
My old HD is a 30GB Toshiba MK3021GAS.
What is the DRIVE HEIGHT that I need to search for in getting a new HD?
I could live with even a 10 GB drive to get going again - can anyone point me to anything REALLY inexpensive? (I have only $10 today - and maybe $20 on Friday.)
I have a CD of Linux WattOS R6, which I could boot from. However, it doesn't show me the HD when I boot from the CD. Is there any way I can save my data from my HD? I could surive with extracting just a few hundred MB of files. It failed when I was tryihng to copy to a USB Stick this morning.
    Thank you in advance.
(I'm writing from my antique iBook G4, which is limping along on a failing HD itself.)

    Welcome to the forum!
Your machine will be able to use a SATA III drive, but it will be locked to SATA I speeds unless you
install a modded (non-Lenovo) BIOS that enables SATA II speeds.
As for a 1TB drive, as long as it's 2.5"/9.5mm laptop format, no issues there.
    Cheers,
    George

  • Want to use SCCM 2007 to image thinkpad 10 with windows 7

    Hello,
    can someone tell me if
SCCM 2007 can be used to build the thinkpad 10 tablet and if it can
can I deploy a windows 7 x64 image to it and it I can
where are the drivers as I can only find windows 8 drivers.
I have build a Helix successfully in the past with windows 7 but I cannot get the thinkpad to work, what am I missing?????
    thanks
    Nazir

Perhaps this page from Microsoft will help understand which versions of SCCM can deploy which versions of OS:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2909893/en-us
As for the ThinkPad 10, I believe it only supports Windows 8.1 so there will be no Windows 7 SCCM driver pack for it.

  • Perhaps a missing driver from SCCM pack for x230 (2325)

We used the Lenovo tool to import W7 x64 drivers for the 2325 model into MDT.
When connecting a test laptop after deployment to a large external monitor (by VGA), nothing would display on the external monitor and Fn F7 only resulted in a black screen.
It was resolved by getting the latest video driver from the 2325 support page (g1d625ww.exe)
At this point, I'll try to find a way to get that driver into MDT individually, but long term, it might be missing from the SCCM pack? (which we had gotten from here http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?&DocID=DS034785)
If there's any other detail I can provide, just ask!
(I'm new to this, so what I'm suggesting could be entirely wrong)

I believe you may have used the wrong SCCM Driver pack.  The link you provided list the pack for the X230s and the machine type you have is an X230.  The X230 driver pack is here:  http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?&DocID=DS030230
It contains the prior version of the driver you mentioned - g1d622ww instead of g1d625ww.  The X230s uses a different driver - g1d652ww.  Perhaps that would account for the issue you encountered.
If you would like to manage interim driver releases with MDT (since the SCCM Driver Packs are only refreshed when we refresh our manufacturing preload images) it might be easier to use Update Retriever.  It will let you find drivers by specifying the machine type and OS you are using.  You can select and download drivers to a local repository.  Then you can select drivers to Export to a folder.  You can then use the driver import wizard of MDT to import the driver(s) from that folder.  It will handle picking up the INF files and other required files and adding them to the folder you initiate the import from.  Then you just have to make sure that folder is included in the selection profiles for your deployment.

  • Out of Date NIC driver in SCCM Pack for T440s

    win7 32 bit T440s
Driver version 12.8.33.9427 seems to be included in the sccm pack, but the consumer download page has version 12.11.77.1
    http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS035977
The driver in the pack seems to have an issue where the NIC doesnt resume its connection after the laptop comes out of sleep unless you uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" box in the nic properties.

We are in the process of doing a refresh of these SCCM driver packs.  They are targeted to be avialable around the middle of August.  The newer Intel NIC driver should be included in the new packs that are coming.

  • HP Client Platform Driver Pack Issue

I'm trying to import a HP Driver Pack for the Elite 8300. SP61385. It fails with 'The selected Softpaq is Not a valid driver softpaq'. Note: This is the first time I'm trying this. I must be missing a step...

You should post this on an HP forum.
