Sccm2012 ccmeval change the settings of windows update

Hi I found the sccm 2012 has a daily job to run ccmeval and change windows update service to automatica start. and the link below also show it does so. may I know why? Does sccm need windows update? Will it cause the PC to automatically download any
patches from microsoft update site and some patch may cause issue in our environment? I found the automatic update in control pannel is OFF though.why diffirent?

Do you use the SoftwareUpdates or EndPointProtection features of ConfigMgr in your environment?
If so, you need wuausrv to be available, for those ConfigMgr features to be functional.
If you are using SoftwareUpdates via ConfigMgr, the ConfigMgr client will configure the WSUS source on the client to reference your SUP.
The AU settings in control panel are not relevant if you are using ConfigMgr SoftwareUpdates features.

I updated the latest version of itunes onto my pc (windows xp) and all of a sudden I can't open it up. If anyone is looking at this and would like to know what I did to finally get it to work, I did the following: I right click on the itunes icon on my desktop.......clicked on "run as"........made sure that it ran as administrator. This finally worked for me. Hope you all find this info helpful.

How can I change the settings in Safari to list the open windows chronologically instead of alphabetically? I keep a lot of open windows e.g., 25 windows and many tabs on each) and like to work between a few at a time. The problem is that Safari reorganizes windows alphabetically. Once I open a new window, it take a while to find the windows I'm looking for. Chrome and Firefox list the open windows chronologically which I find much easier. The newest windows are at the bottom of the list.

When I change the color using windows 7, apparently firefox runs slower. The videos I watch are spotty and looking like it's in slow motion. Sometimes I get a prompt to use firefox colors and this fixes it. But why can't I use other colors, and are there settings to help me fix this problem? Thank you for any information you can give me. my son had this problem. I went to the apple store and they wiped out and restored the phone.. They said that was all they could do but that I should call our phone carrier and ask them. I did. They asked if in the top left side, next to battery power there was a icon of a half moon. There was. They said to go in to settings and go to "Do not Disturb" and turn it off. I did.....problem solved!!! Somehow "do not disturb" was turned on and that is what happens if it is!!

I've changed the bill payer to myself but it stills says on emails that I sent that its from my mother.

In order for the "From" field to show you options on the "from" addresses available, you must set them up in the Preferences > Accounts first.
I can't show you a screen shot of the from field because I currently only have one account, so the from address used is the default. However, when I had more than one, then options will show up in your compose/reply window.

Firefox is not working - I believe it is because a McAfee pop-up asked if I wanted to allow something, and instead of 'allow always' I clicked 'block.' A year or so ago I did this (and forgot) and it changed the settings and I also lost MF access.

Everything else about my computer works fine, but I get a small

Is it possible to change the settings in AR Properties Advanced tab with Adobe Acrobat XI?

I noticed when I went to print a PDF double sided, that despite the following the guidelines from Adobe on this process, it still printed single sided. I checked the properties of the PDF itself and on the Advanced tab, the DuplexMode was set to Simplex and was greyed out.
Is it possible to change the settings in that tab with Adobe Acrobat XI?

I have two printers, both support automatic duplexing. Any PDF we receive
or create we are unable to print double sided on our mac mini¹s. I didn¹t
make it clear in my question that we were fine on Windows XP, but, having
recently changed to Mac have encountered this frustrating problem.
I did a lot of research prior to recording the question and it appears I am
not the only one who has come across this problem, and I have followed the
guidelines that Adobe promote on their website to be able to print double
sided, which doesn¹t work on the mac mini Osx Mavericks.
Because the Properties, Advanced tab has ³Print Dialog Presets² that are set
to simplex and greyed out I took that to mean that no matter what printer
settings I make, and I think I¹ve gone through all that I can, the pdf will
not print double sided on Mac but will on XP.
Sorry this isn¹t the reply you must have been hoping for and look forward to
receiving further advice in regard to this matter.

I have a process chain which runs daily. At one atep it would load data till PSA then there was a separate process to update data from PSA. But recently someone changed the settings and data is loaded in PSA and data target in parallel. But the process update data from PSA is also there still and as a result giving error as data already reached infocube. I wish to know who changed the settings. I searched and found about tcode SGL1 but not getting any fruitful result. Can anyone pls suggest anything.

Hi There,
In your case, nobody has changed the settings in process chains. However, it appears that someone has changed the Processing mode in the Info package. Since now the infopackage has already run after the change was made, I don't think there is any way to find who has changed the setting in the infopackage.
However, the solution would be to just switch back the processing mode from "PSA and Data Targets in Parallel" to "Only PSA".

We may have to wait for an update. Aside from changing the country, I'm not sucre this can be done. There is no Health App in the System preferences and no way to modify from within the app. Weird.
If you go to Language & Region under general settings and choose any other country, you will get Metric. I have the opposite problem. I live in a Metric country and want my health app to be in lbs and inches which is what I am used to.
