SCCM2012/MDT2013 - HP PRODESK 600 G1 - Nic Drivers

HI all
wondering if anyone out there can helpme, trying a SCCM/MDT deployment for a client, they have a Desktop HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF and i cannot for the life of my get the damn Nic driver to work. i have downlaoded all the drivers i can find for this model and
none seem to work.
I have injected the WinPe 3/4/5 drivers available and all the drivers for windows 7/8
Nothing im tearing my hair out please help
Chris

It's quite possible that you now have too many drivers in your boot image. Save all the possible drivers to a USB drive and try again. This time, at a command prompt, use drvload.exe to load each driver in turn to establish if it works (ie you get an IP
address).
See here for correct use of drvload.exe

  • ProDesk 600 create recovery disks - use usb instead

We have just received some HP Prodesk 600 desktop pcs - K1t26AW#ABA - running Win 7 Pro 64 bit - and would like to make system recovery media.  The HP program installed has only the option to make recovery disks and requires dual layer DVD's to be used.   I have had  other HP products that allow recovery media to be created either on DVD or usb.  Is there any software fix or utility to allow us to create the ProDesk 600 recovery media on USB instead of dual layer DVD's?  We have no dual layer DVD's and have no other use for them so we don't want to order a pack and have most of it laying around unused.  Thanks

You can clone the partition to an external usb disk with a cloning utility program. It won't have any effect on the one time usb or DVD recovery media creation limitation.
If I may give a word of advice:
Create a recovery usb flash drive. It is reliable, fast and durable.

  • Killer Nic Drivers Without Suite?

I know we have a link to the Killer Nic Drivers without all that bloatware crap. But how often are they updated? Are they current with the actual drivers on manufacturers website or are they from a few driver releases ago?
    Thanks!

No set schedule, and it is possible the information on the MSI Website is older. The vendors supply their drivers, software, application, or whatever to MSI who in turn tests them and then posts them.

  • HP ProDesk 600 G1 mini doesn't detect SSD on M.2 slot

PC model: HP ProDesk 600 G1 mini
    OS version: Windows 7 SP1 x64
    SSD: Crucial M550 - 256 GB - internal - M.2 - SATA-600
After installing the SSD in to M.2 slot, the system does not see any device installed.
    Any ideas?

The first thing I would do is enter the BIOS and go to the advanced tab. Enable the POST messages.
Is the SSD recognized as present by the BIOS?
SSD drives are an option with these. I suggest using the Crucial community forum.  Have you tried connecting the SSD to another PC to see if it is recognized? According to the Crucial forum experts, if it is recognized in another system you should update the firmware and try it in the desktop again.

  • Satellite 2800-600 - Win 98SE drivers required

Anyone has NIC / MODEM / Monitor drivers for TOSHIBA SATELLITE S2800-600 of WINDOWS 98 SE

    Hmmm.
You can find some drivers on the Toshiba European driver page.
The Satellite 2800 series is very old and the drivers have been moved to Archive.
    You will have to choose the;
    Archive -> Satellite -> Satellite 28xx -> Satellite 2800-600

  • Solaris 10 installation problems through IP-KVM and Realtek NIC drivers

I'm on an IP-KVM connection to the server, the installation failed with the message:
ERROR: Could not create the product file
ERROR: Could not install all packages. Product installation failed
    mkdir: "/a/var/sadm/launcher": I/O error
Could not install all packages. Product installation failed
I tried a full install, I'm going to remove some of the unnecessary packages from the install list and try again. This media has been successfully used to install before so I'm hoping that would work. If anyone has any info though regarding the failure, please advice.
One of the problems is that the IP-KVM doesn't allow me to power the server off and on. When the install fails in the desktop console mode like this, is there a way to send a command to reboot the server? Sending ctrl-alt-del through the kvm client doesn't do anything. In case this happens again I'd like to be able to reboot myself.
I'm retrying the install in the console desktop mode so if it fails again I can probably open up a terminal window and issue the reboot command.
Also, the install is not recognizing the Realtek nic. It's an onboard controller in an Intel motherboard. Has anyone had any luck/tips on getting the drivers from www.realtek.co.tw to work? I haven't gotten to that stage yet but any advice would be appreciated for when I do.
    Thanks

  • 10g RAC nic drivers re-install

We running 10g (10.2.0.3) 2 node rac cluster on win 2003 and we had some issue on network card drivers. System administrator wants to uninstall all nic card drivers and re-install with new version and ip configuration & setting remains same as eariler.
After re-install of new drivers, the new registry & nic guid change will cause any problem to oracle cluster setting?
    Appreciate your replies.

As far as the basic network settings (interface name, ip address, subnet etc..) doesn't change, you should be ok. We have replaced NIC cards in the linux environment and haven't seen any problems - unless Oracle stores the GUID in the windows world (which I really doubt).

  • SCCM image deployment not installing NIC drivers

Hello, I am seeing an issue when I go to image a new Dell Optiplex 3020 x64 Win 7.  I have imported the CAB file and extracted all the drivers from dell.  At the beginning of the task sequence I can open a command prompt and see it has an address
using ipconfig.  Then it applies drivers and joins the domain.  After it restarts it no longer has an ip address according to ipconfig.  I have logged into the machine after it fails the task sequence (error 80070002), installed the driver and
joined the domain with no problems so I don't think it is the driver.  I am fairly new to this process and I am using images and sequences built by someone else that have worked until now.  Any help is greatly appreciated  thanks.
    SCCM 3.0 version 6.1

    Hi,
The reason for this is most likely that you have the NIC driver in Windows PE, but not in Windows. After the "Setup Windows and ConfigMgr" step in the Task Sequence, the computer will reboot from Windows PE to Windows, thus requiring a NIC driver for Windows.
For this to work, you should have a driver package that is applied before that step in the task sequence. Have you created a driver package for that model and if so, is it applied?

every patch for ZDM normally has better hardware support for imaging..
There is no list though, normally if you install on a test system you can
burn a cd from the bootcd.iso or create floppies from there.
There is a also a coolsolution article on how to extract information out of
a service pack which I wrote ages ago.. IIRC it was for snapins.. have to
    lock it up..
