SCE 2000 3.6.5 SCA BB Reporter Protocol Facetime

Hello Everybody,
I have a Cisco SCE 2000 x4GBE running the Ver 3.6.5, the SCA BB Reporter is 3.6.5 too,
i need to run a report for the Facetime Protocol, and doesn't exist that report.
Recently I upgraded the Protocol Pack to # 27.
When i look in the internet, found a document:

That says, the Signature ID for that Protocol is 86507776 and i understand is a temporary number, but where i can find the traffic statistics?
I need a report showing that traffic,
how can i find that information?

The PQI file is included in the SCA-BB Agents archive available for download from Cisco.com, under:
Downloads > Products > Service Exchange > Cisco Service Control > Cisco Service Control Application Suite > Cisco Service Control Application for Broadband
The filename for version 3.6.5 is "sca-bb-v365-b256-agents.zip".
Please note that you will have to install the software as per the order above.
In your case, as you now have to install the application (step 2), you will have to re-do steps 3 and 4.

Report in 2000 prints on specific printer but report 6i cannot! any suggestions?

Hi,
I have a computer connected to 2 parallel printers via a data switch for my POS system.
I specified the correct printer in DESNAME system parameter in the 2 reports and it was working perfectly in developer 2000.
Recently I swap to report builder 6i and now the problem is unless that printer that it is suppose to print the the windows' default printer, otherwise, the printer prints nothing!
Can any one help me to make it print? so my staff just need to switch the data switch instead of having to also change the default printer. That is very very inconvience!

check the version of reports you are using. apply the latest patchset. if problem still persists, open a TAR with oracle support services.

Two SCE 2000s sharing the same Collection Manager?

Does anyone know if two seperate SCE 2000 devices can share a collection manager, or do they each need a seperate CM? If they can shere, is there any specal setup on the CM itself?

Just a thought!
If you change the security settings on the default itunes folder so that you other user can access the folder then you could change the itunes preferences for that other user to use you newly shared folder. then you'd have both itunes apps using the same file set and library. all you'd have to do then was create a playlist for you and for her.
I've never tried it myself, i just let my wife use itunes on my account.

SCE 2000 3.6.5 - Web Redirection

any known bugs in the version 3.6.5 while redirecting a user to a website?
the IE is indicating websitefound and waiting for reply with a blank page.
the package is configured to block all flows and redirect the user to a website..

The only place I see block and redirect is the Default package and I done see any other service allowed. You need to allow the redirection url as a special service. I see it created but take it out an allow it here in this package.

These URL's are not in the Flavor you defined. put all of them in and allow them.
the other package which had redirection attached to it, I see the redirection url specified but not all allowed url's are in that flavor.
what is your exit strategy once the user hits the redirection site?
at this time it seems like anything the user does you are redirecting him and it will alway be redirected with no exit clause.
You will see the "until subscriber browses to" you need to use this to kill the redirection loop and let the customer come out of the redirection gracefully.

Service Control Application Suite (SCAS BB) SCE 1000 RDR Problems

    I have recently taken over the deployment of the SCAS BB, which includes the SCE 1000, Subscriber Manager, and Collection Manager. If you are reading this thread, then hopefully you already know all about the components of the solution.
I have a successful connection from the SCE 1000 to the CM, though I am not receiving any RDRs from the SCE, thus I can not run any reports against the CM with the SCAS BB.
Can anyone provide a place to look as to why the SCE is not sending the RDRs? I have a good connection between the two based on the output of the show RDR-formatter command ....

SCA Reporter can`t connect to CM

I have next hardware/software configurations:
MySQL 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.7
CM CD Version 3.6.0 Build 181
SCA Reporter 3.6.5 build 258
SCE8000 scos-v365-b489-sce8000-k9.pkg
When I try to run SCA reporter I get next error message "mandatory preference "IP of SCE for policy data" is not set"
I checked connection to database on , it is ok.
I checked /etc/hosts and CONF_SE_TZ_OFFSET on linux server it is ok too.
I ran sceconf.sh and I got
scmscm@scmscm:~/scripts$ sceconf.sh --op=list
IP Rate Peak

How to fix the problem?

You need to apply/push a config out from the SCE to the CM and confirm that you see the CM updating as well in the SCA-BB logs messages.
Basically there is a INI_VALUES table created on the CM Database (mysql) that keep the ip of the SCE. Once there the SCA-BB will pick this ip for reporter.
I am not sure in your case if the INI_VALUES table is created or the SCE ip is in the table . It is also possible that the ip is there but you have not selected the IP from the SCA-BB preferences.

Crystal Report 9, Supported MS SQL-Server 2000 versions

we are using Crystal Report 9 with SQL-Server 2000 SP3 as APS/CMS database. I want to upgrade the SQL-Server with SP4, Do you know, if MS SQL-Server 2000 SP4 is supported for Crystal Report 9?

Two SCE boxes has died after upgrade to FW 3.6 (but not immediatelly)

I have experienced SCE error with following switching to System Recovery Mode on two SCE 2000 boxes. I upgraded them two days ago but today they switched to Recovery Mode after unexpected platform reload. Difference between these two boxes reload/crash is only 20 seconds.

SCE 8080 CIR/PIR issue

Hi I create a package in SCABB with CIR=0, PIR=3500 kbps to have bandwith control over a range of IP address in a csv file directly applied on SCE. but when i review SCA reporter Bandwith service per package, I see 4000Kbps and more in this package. Why the PIR is not working??
Example:
csv file:
client1, 1.1.1.0/24, 5
Package in SCABB:
index: 5
CIR = 0
PIR = 3500

Is this production environment or lab?
What kind of traffic passing through the SCE?
(Num of flows, src IPs, TCP/UDP, applications, etc.)
One possible explanation for this is that since the traffic control
starts only after the classification is completed, those pre-classified
traffic is not controlled. This is usually not a problem but some P2P
protocols may require many packets to be inspected to classify and
if there is a heavy P2P user, the traffic for the user may exceed the PIR
slightly.
I think you can check which protocol is exceeding the PIR by looking
at the report which you realized the issue.

"Reporting services" service does not start automatically

I have installed reporting services from SQL Express SP1 package. OS is Windows 2000 SP4. Just after installation "Reporting services" service has StartMode=Automatic and LogOnAS=LocalSystem as shown in SQL Server Configuration Manager. When system is rebooted reporting services state is Stopped and there is 2 errors in System log:
1. Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the SQL Server Reporting Services (REPS) service to connect.
2. The SQL Server Reporting Services (REPS) service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
If i select "start" from service's context menu then it starting normally and it's state becomes Running.
What can i do to make reporting services starting automatically on system load?

i have the same problem here in one of our servers ,, it was working and suddenly it stopped i don't know why

Report not picking correct data

Is it possible for vendor aging report to dispaly for Particular Vendor the
amount ( bsik-dmbtr ) using Purchase organization field.
There are two Purchase Organizations C100 ( for CPU ) and D100 ( for Monitor ) in my case.
data is picked from bsik , lfm1 ,lfa1 tables.
Example : if D100 is for Monitor-screen and has amount 1000.
c100 is for CPU and has amount 2000.
In that case report with Vendor , comp code, Pur. Orga and period should disply
c100 amount 2000.
D100 amount 1000.
my report is showing that vendor is existing for C100 or D100.
but for vendor that exist in both C100 and D100. ( Say vendor number 200 )
the amount is coming for vendor number 200 in c100 and d100 equal to 1000.
but it should come c100 = 2000
and for d100 = 1000.

I am not sure about this point in vendor aging report. i have added a pur Organization field in this report.
I am asking
If vendor no 123 is in D100 and C100 ( D100 and C100 are Pur Organizations )
Initially no transaction is there.
Suppose vendor no 123 created a Puchase Order of 500 /- using D100 Purchase Organization in duration 01.01.2008
to 01.01.2009
But vendor no 123 in Purchase Organization C100 has no transaction.
Then 123 with D100 is sould show 500/-
and 123 with C100 is 0 /-.
output of this report should show above results ?
If output is like this then how to rectify my report ?
Or it shoud show the result like this
Then 123 with D100 is sould show 500/-
and 123 with C100 is 500 /-
My output is showing like above same

i'm using Developer/2000 and trying to run a report in MS-Excel instead of run_product eg.
host('C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\excel.exe');
This open excel but without the any records. What else do i need to add plz.

and indeed the excel spreadsheet opened but not formatted like a normal excel file ie. not elligible. I got stuff like
