Scenario IMP IMP

HI All,
I have a scenario kindly guide me how achive this,
Implementation in ECC6.0,
1. I have two diffrent manufacturing plants at two diffrent locations which manufactures same kind of products at both these plants,  and CNF( delear location from where Finished goods are delivered to customers which can be treated as plant). Now the client wants they want to do daily/day  wise forecasting at CNF level.  where in via  stock transfer - special procurement key ( key-40 )at both Manufacturing plant & CNF level.  But the problem  is that in special procurement key, we can assign   1 issuing  pant in spl procurement key,  also we can assign only one SPl procurement key to FG  in MRP:2 , how does the system knows that this production should  either be done in plant 1 or plant2.
Also CBP or MRP run needs to be done.
2. can we do  hour wise planning for production?
can any one kindly guide me how we can  achive this requirement-  kindly  give with example & customization.
thanks

Hi,
For your first question...
This can be achieved by quota arrangement.
Lets say your manufacturing plants are A and B and your forecast plant is C.
In plant C maintain the procurement type as F and don't maintain any special procurement key there. In MRP 2 view maintain the quota arrangement usage.
Now go to MEQ1 transaction (quota arrangement). Enter the material and plant C and in the next screen maintain the validity dates and Minimum Quota split quantity.
Select the line and click on Item overview icon.
In the next screen maintain procurement type as F ,
Special procurement as U
Enter the plant A , quota % say 70
In the next row do the same for plant B.Lets say quota % as 30 and save.
Now say there are PIR's of 1000 in plant C.
After the MRP run you will see two STO pur.req will be created in plant C with quantities 700 and 300.One is for plant A and the other for plant B.
Make sure your lot size supports splitting quota.
Thanks,
Ravi

I would suggest addressing this question to ERP forum as the current one is tailored for ME application.

  • How to exclude a schema in imp & imp error

    Hi Folks,
Is there a way to exculde a schema when using full=y in imp (import).
Why i prefer this is because im getting the below error while importing the dumpfile
    "ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA= "PERFSTAT""
    IMP-00003: ORACLE error 1435 encountered
    ORA-01435: user does not exist
    IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
since I dont have (dont want) perfstat in my destination database, I want to exculde perfstat schema during import.
Also, I dont perfer to go fromuser touser, since some pubic synonym/objects misses.
    Regards
    KSG

Ok. You can perform schema level import with imp by using FROMUSER parameter.
User (Owner)--allows you to import all objects that belong to you (such as tables, grants, indexes, and procedures). A privileged user importing in user mode can import all objects in the schemas of a specified set of users. Use the FROMUSER parameter to specify this mode.
    Source:http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96652/ch02.htm#1005111
But, your question is you wish to exclude one or more schema from a full=y exported dump, then it is not possible with imp, because there is no EXCLUDE parameter with imp, but you can use FROMUSER to get import from export dump.

  • 10g で exp したデータ → 11g へ imp でエラー

    10g から 11g へのデータ移行についての質問です。
    ■10gでの実行expコマンド
    exp user/password file=f:\backup_db\当日.dmp owner=user log=f:\backup\当日.log buffer=2000000
    ■11gへの実行impコマンド
    imp user/password file=e:\DB\Copy.dmp buffer=2000000 log=e:\db\imp.log fromuser=user
    上記の10g(10.2 32bit)のexpファイルを11g(11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production)へimpすると「ORA-01659」「ORA-20000」「ORA-01658」などのエラーが発生します。

  • Modeling custom scenario-imp

    hi all
i have a custom table ztab in which we are caputuring some
revenue data . it consists of bill# , bill item # and
bill amount . none of these are key fields.we are using this custom table
as a data src for our bw ods and cube . there is a possibility that
once a bill comes in , it might be cancelled after few days . in that
case there should be a -ve posting for all key figures . Can someone
help me implement this scenario . I am not sure how i should model
this situation . Should i add a new field 'status' that shows
the status of the bills ?? My purpose is that if a bill gets cancelled
, the key figures in bw should be reversed.
    pls help ..all inputs welcome

    Hi,
I reckon when a bill is canceled, the corresonding records get deleted in your custom ztab.
In this case you should consider a full loading scenario. Every time the cube's data get deleted, and refreshed through the new loading process.
    Cheers, <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/profile/Davide+Cavallari">Davide</a>

  • Duplicating a user to another in the same db

I have read plenty of posts about this, but no matter how I try with datapump or simply exp/imp I cant seem to get this right.
I a devel 11gR2 server with one database and a user, USERA that an application uses.
I need to duplicate that application server and point it to a duplicate copy of the database that it uses for its internal configuration. In MSSQL this is trivial to clone a "db" and re-assign a new login and user to it.
In my scenario I want to simply create a new user, UserB and clone the schema from UserA entirely into UserB seems to be a problem.
Using exp, after resolving some NLS_LANG env vars I got a successful export w/o conversion:
    exp USERA/password file=USERA_EXPORT.dmp log=USERA_EXPORT.log
    Using imp:
    imp.exe USERB/password file=USERA_EXPORT.dmp log=USERA_IMPORT.log fromuser=USERA touser=USERB ignore=y
I get OID errors and all sorts of compilation errors. Is this possible with different technique or is each scenario case specific?
    Thanks!

exp is the older way to export, it is not recommended for use in the latest versions as it does not support everything. With imp, some things give error on import, but compile properly at runtime as everything gets resolved in the new environment. Then again, some don't.
You want to use expdp/impdp, see [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e22490/dp_import.htm#SUTIL927]remap_schema. Also, you can use the NETWORK_LINK option to avoid creating files.
    Edit:
Here's part of a korn shell script that I use to migrate certain users from a schema expdp, hopefully the environment variables are self-explanatory:
    impdp directory=dump_dir dumpfile=${EXP_FILE} schemas=${FROM_USER} remap_schema=${TO_USER} TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=REPLACE logfile=${EXP_FLIE}imp.log << EOF
    system/mysystempassword
    EOF

  • Fine tuning of the report

    Hi Friends,
1)I have thousands of production order in my internal table list.
2)Now for each production order I have more than 40 operations .
3)I have to take the latest operations from this 40 operations.
4)the latest operation and the corresponding work Center I have to take from the S022 among this 40 opearation
    5) this work center I have to pass to CRHD and take objectid (OBJID)
    6) now I have to pass this object id (OBJID) to CRCO and take the cost center
    ie the crco-kostl.
Actually this is a specific client requirement where the same logic I have to follow. when iam running the following code the report is taking long time . I can say the situation is like report hanging.
Iam using the following code .
    loop at list.
    if list-BWART eq '261' or list-BWART eq '262'.
select max( VORNR )  into  bet   from S022
            where AUFNR  = list-AUFNR and
            werks = list-werks.
SELECT SINGLE ARBPL FROM  S022  INTO ARBPL
            where AUFNR  = list-AUFNR and
            werks = list-werks
            and vornr = bet .
select single KOSTL from CRCO into list-KOSTL where OBJID = OBJID.
    clear CARBPL.
    clear OBJID.
    modify list.
    clear list.
    clear bet.
    endif.
    endloop.
Please help me to fine tune this scenario .

    Hi,
IMP:  Never use select single in loop!! instead use for all entries in option using second itab and as ur data is too high process ur data in itabs using BINARY SEARCH.
select aufnr max( vornr ) ARBPL into table itab2
    for all entries in list
group by aufnr "(and ARBPL, this will reduce second select stmt..)
    where aufnr = list-aufnr and....
    "same for third select stmt.
All above stmts are not in loop , now u can process itabs and get desired o/p.
use BINARY SEARCH for read itabs.
Abvoe logic will improve ur code perfromance..

    # Settings for hosting different languages.
    # Required modules: mod_mime, mod_negotiation
    # DefaultLanguage and AddLanguage allows you to specify the language of
    # a document. You can then use content negotiation to give a browser a
    # file in a language the user can understand.
    # Specify a default language. This means that all data
    # going out without a specific language tag (see below) will
    # be marked with this one. You probably do NOT want to set
    # this unless you are sure it is correct for all cases.
    # * It is generally better to not mark a page as
    # * being a certain language than marking it with the wrong
    # * language!
    # DefaultLanguage nl
    # Note 1: The suffix does not have to be the same as the language
    # keyword --- those with documents in Polish (whose net-standard
    # language code is pl) may wish to use "AddLanguage pl .po" to
    # avoid the ambiguity with the common suffix for perl scripts.
    # Note 2: The example entries below illustrate that in some cases
    # the two character 'Language' abbreviation is not identical to
    # the two character 'Country' code for its country,
    # E.g. 'Danmark/dk' versus 'Danish/da'.
    # Note 3: In the case of 'ltz' we violate the RFC by using a three char
    # specifier. There is 'work in progress' to fix this and get
    # the reference data for rfc1766 cleaned up.

    ========HTTPD.CONF==========

I am modifying the correct httpd.conf file on the server, it just doesn't seem to work. - If I put the rewrite rules in the <Directory /> the rewrite works but it adds /Library/WebServer/Documents to the URL.
I also tried putting the rewrite rules in <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but that did not work either.
mod_rewrite is enabled and running on the server.
I will post the rewrite rules again in the code brackets. Sorry for the long post. - If some one can try them out on their Leopard Server to see if they can get them to work, it would be much appreciated. Again, these work on my Leopard Client but I can't get them to work on Server.
-- The httpd.conf file posted above is just the default conf file found in /private/etc/apache2/

  • How to use the Rectangle class to draw an image and center it in a JPanel

I sent an earlier post on how to center an image in a JPanel using the Rectangle class. I was asked to send an executable code which will show the malfunction. The code below is an executable code and a small part of a very big project. To simplifiy things, it is just a JFrame and a JPanel with an open dialog. Once executed the JFrame and the FileDialog will open. You can then navigate to a .gif or a .jpg picture and open it. What I want is for the picture to be centered in the middle of the JPanel and not the upper left corner. It is also important to stress that, I am usinig the Rectangle class to draw the Image. The region of interest is where the rectangle is created. In the constructor of the CenterRect class, I initialize the Rectangle class. Then I use paintComponent in the CenterRect class to draw the Image. The other classes are just support classes. The MyImage class is an extended image class which also has a draw() method. Any assistance in getting the Rectangle to show at the center of the JPanel without affecting the size and shape of the image will be greatly appreciated.
I have divided the code into three parts. They are all supposed to be on one file in order to execute.

  • WBS Element Creation

    Hi Friends,
Can anyone give me a clue of how to create a WBS Element in Background? Is there any Function Module or BAPIs available?
    Prompt replies would be rewarded.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Tamilarasan.
