Scenarios activation of Baseline Package (FR)

Hi,
When I want to activate the scenarios from Solution view, this error message is generated: "Transport numbers not fullfill the requirement.". Someone can help me?
Thanks in advance
Best regards

Hello again,
I already solved this specific issue that I reported in my previous message, I did the manual activation (txcode SCPR20) of that BC Set: /SMBA0/V_T001P_B0BN_J01 guided by the document "SAP Best Practices Tools". After this activation I pressed the Change button that is displayed in the Old Status column and I changed the status to successful, after I chose the Activate to continue with the installation. But, once again, other error stopped the installation, now with other BC Set:
/SMBA0/V_T001L_B175_J0A
I tried to solve with the same method through the manual activation, but now it was not possible, when I do that in SCPR20 the activation logs show me four warnings (see the image "BC Sets: Activation logs")... and I don´t want to continue with activation/installation of the full scope without solve this issue or can I continue?!
Can you help me please?
Thank you,

  • Activation errors Baseline harmonized Colombia

    Hi guys,
Im installed Baseline package for COLOMBIA with this components BP-INSTASS 600v6 and
BP-ERP05 603V5, i have the system in EHP3 like said in the BL_Quick_GUIDE. I Upload the scope file  51036430_SCOPE_BL_CO_V1603_603V5.xml and try to activate the scenarios but found this error:
ECATT(/SMB99/TFACD_O17C_J0A) in BB(100 (CO)) of scenario(CO_166) not exist in system.
    can anybody help me please?
    thanks in advance
    Alberto Gil

    Hi Alberto,
Were you able to get the answer for this. I'm encountering the same problem when trying to load the UK Baseline.
I tried to look up the test data external file which holds the following fields :
    [VARIANT]                          [DESCRIPTION]     I_ACTION     I_IDENT     I_SPRA_1     I_SPRA_2
                                          Action (A=Act., C=Comp., ' '=both)     Factory Calendar     Activation Language 1     Activation Language 2
    *ECATTDEFAULT                           DXX;I_ACTION     D00;I_FABKL     DXX;I_SPRA_1     DXX;I_SPRA_2
    VAR_001                            Factory Calender     I_ACTION(DXX,VARIANT_1)     I_FABKL(D00,HOME)     I_SPRA_1(DXX,VARIANT_1)     I_SPRA_2(DXX,VARIANT_1)
....and I'm trying to recreate the missing Ecatt components.
The Transaction which is being recorded is SCAL - which is maintain factory calendar. I can trace the I_ACTION action to choosing the calendar type and I_DENT to factory ID but cant really match the I_SPRA_1     I_SPRA_2 fields. I tried looking up the table TFACD (the factory calendar table) but couldn't match the fields. From the description it looks like these two SPRA_1 and _2 are language keys set to the Calendar ID but the SCAL transaction doesn't support that. But it could be a possibility these are automatic values which are populated by the system where there are no user interaction, I strongly doubt this maybe the case as with most language key options within SAP.
Now I'm trying to figure out if this configuration is done through any other transaction to rule out other possibilities to some extent.
Creating Ecatt is not that difficult and using the /SMBA0/TFACD_I17C_J0A (test script) and /SMBA0/TFACD_O17C_J0A (test configuration) which is similar to this it can be reproduced but first need to figure out the transaction recorded.
My current thought process is that to replicate this Ecatt using the above mentioned Ecatt and just make a copy and see how things run. But this will be my last resort and before that a little more analysis need to be done to see the similarities between them (i'm doing a test recording of SCAl and comparing it against this Ecatt)
Hope my notes are helpful and if you made any progress please update me.
    Thanx and goodluck.

  • BASELINE PACKAGE - V1-V2.603 and Best Practices for Pharmaceuticals

    Hi All,
             > Recently we have upgraded to EHP4 stack 4
             > I am trying to install BASELINE PACKAGE - V1-V2.603 I chose that because its localized for India.
             > When i am trying to install  BP-ERP05 603V7 and BP-INSTASS 600V7 its asking for BBPCRM 600, BBPCRM
                700 and SAP_APPL 600, SAP_APPL 603.
             > Why does the installer ask for lower versions? ofcourse i have read that if the version is Higher than the one mentioned
in the "Quick Guide to Installing the SAP Best Practices Baseline Package (IN)" will not work.
             > But do we have any BaseLine Packages Specific to EHP4?
             > If not, then could any one tell me where and how to download and install the BBPCRM as an add-on.
             > I only need that Software component because I strongly feel that all the interdependencies are linked with this one only.
Any help and suggestions are welcome.
    Regards,
    Antony Chaitanya.

    Hi Sunny,
Thanks very much for your response.
The major problem that i am having is I some how did not include the BBPCRM software component or the related software components for CRM at the time of upgrade is my best guess.
So, the latest add ons BP-CRM60 600V3 and BP-CRM70 700V1 or the add ons BP-ERP05 600VD/ 603V7 along with that BP-INSTASS 600V7 are not able to install because the prerequisite are not meeting. Only BP-INSTASS 600V1 got installed.
Can any one tell me how and what to do now.... plzzz???
Things like how to get the CRM related s/w components installed or if there is a work around to get the Baseline Packages (IN) activated with out the CRM.
    Regards,
    Antony Chaitanya.

  • Importing best practices baseline package (IT) ECC 6.0

    Hello
I hope is the right forum,
i've a sap release ECC 6.00 with stack abap 14.
In this release i have to install the preconfigured smartforms that now are called
best practices baseline package. These pacakges are localized and mine is for Italy:
SAP Best Practices Baseline Package (IT)
the documents about the installation say that the required support package level has to be with stack 10.
    And it says :
"For cases when the support package levels do not match the Best Practices requirements, especially when HIGHER support package levels are implemented, only LIMITED SUPPORT can be granted"
    Note 1044256
By your experience , is it possible to do this installation in this support package condition?
    Thanks
    Regards
    Nicola Blasi

    Hy
a company wants to implement the preconfigured smartforms in a landscape ECC 6.0
I think that these smartforms can be implement using the SAP best practices , in particular the baseline package ....see service.sap.com/bestpractices  --> baseline package;  once installed you can configured the scenario you want....
the package to download is different each other ,depends the localization...for example italy or other country but this is not important at the moment....
the problem is the note 1044256...it says that to implement this, i must have the support package level requested in this note...not lower and above all not higher.......
before starting with this "baseline package" installation i'd like to know if i can do it because i have a SP level of 14 for aba e basis for example....while the notes says that want a SP level of 10 for aba e basis.
    what i can do?
i hope is clear now....let me know
    thanks
    Nicola

    Hi,
Refer This SDN Blog, which gives you steps in detail....
LSMW – Step by Step Guide: Legacy System Migration Workbench is an R/3 Based tool for data transfer from legacy to R/3 for one time or periodic transfer.
Basic technique is Import data from Spreadsheet / Sequential file, convert from source format to target format and import into R/3 database. LSMW not part of standard R/3, if we need this product email [email protected]
    Advantages of LSMW:
        • Most of the functions are within R/3, hence platform independence.
       • Quality and data consistency due to standard import techniques.
       • Data mapping and conversion rules are reusable across projects.
       • A variety of technical possibilities of data conversion.
       • Generation of the conversion program on the basis of defined rules
       • Interface for data in spreadsheet format.
       • Creation of data migration objects on the basis of recorded transactions.
       • Charge-free for SAP customers and partners.
    Working With LSMW:
    Use TCODE LSMW
    Objects of LSMW:
•Project   – ID with max of 10 char to Name the data transfer project.
      • Subproject   – Used as further structuring attribute.
      • Object   – ID with max of 10 Characters, to name the Business object .
      • Project can have multiple sub projects and subprojects can have multiple objects.
      • Project documentation displays any documentation maintained for individual pop ups and processing steps
User Guide: Clicking on Enter leads to interactive user guide which displays the Project name, sub project name and object to be created.
    Object type and import techniques:
      • Standard Batch / Direct input.
      • Batch Input Recording
o If no standard programs available
o To reduce number of target fields.
o Only for fixed screen sequence.
        • BAPI
        • IDOC
o Settings and preparations needed for each project
    Preparations for IDOC inbound processing:
        • Choose settings -> IDOC inbound processing in LSMW
        • Set up File port for file transfer, create port using WE21.
        • Additionally set up RFC port for submitting data packages directly to function module IDoc_Inbound_Asynchronous, without creating a file during data conversion.
        • Setup partner type (SAP recommended ‘US’) using WE44.
        • Maintain partner number using WE20.
        • Activate IDOC inbound processing.
        • Verify workflow customizing.
    Steps in creating LSMW Project:
        • Maintain attributes – choose the import method.
        • Maintain source structure/s with or without hierarchical relations. (Header, Detail)
        • Maintain source fields for the source structures. Possible field types – C,N,X, date, amount and packed filed with decimal places.
        • Fields can be maintained individually or in table form or copy from other sources using upload from a text file
        • Maintain relationship between source and target structures.
        • Maintain Field mapping and conversion rules
        • For each Target field the following information is displayed:
          o Field description
o Assigned source fields (if any)
o Rule type (fixed value, translation etc.)
          o Coding.
o Some fields are preset by the system & are marked with Default setting.
        • Maintain Fixed values, translations, user defined routines – Here reusable rules can be processed like assigning fixed values, translation definition etc.
        • Specify Files
o Legacy data location on PC / application server
o File for read data ( extension .lsm.read)
o File for converted data (extension .lsm.conv)
        • Assign Files – to defined source structures
        • Read data – Can process all the data or part of data by specifying from / to transaction numbers.
        • Display read data – To verify the input data being read
        • Convert Data – Data conversion happens here, if data conversion program is not up to date, it gets regenerated automatically.
        • Display converted data – To verify the converted data
Import Data – Based on the object type selected
        • Standard Batch input or Recording
          o Generate Batch input session
          o Run Batch input session
        • Standard Direct input session
o Direct input program or direct input transaction is called
    BAPI / IDOC Technique:
        • IDOC creation
o Information packages from the converted data are stored on R/3 Database.
o system assigns a number to every IDOC.
o The file of converted data is deleted.
        • IDOC processing
o IDOCS created are posted to the corresponding application program.
o Application program checks data and posts in the application database.
    Finally Transport LSMW Projects:
        • R/3 Transport system
          o Extras ->Create change request
o Change request can be exported/imported using CTS
        • Export Project
o Select / Deselect part / entire project & export to another R/3 system
        • Import Project
o Exported mapping / rules can be imported through PC file
o Existing Project data gets overwritten
          o Prevent overwriting by using
        ‘Import under different name
        • Presetting for Inbound IDOC processing not transportable.

  • Baseline Package Vs Industry Package

    Hi,
There are packages available when it comes to SAP Best Practices, My question is If there is a construction industry customer wants to implement the solution with regard to best practices
    1. whether he would get both SAP Base Line Package and SAP ECO Industry package?
    2. The doubt arose because the baseline package has human resources module where in the ECO pack has not got the same
    3. In case the customer wishes to implement SAP ECO best practices initially and wishes to add other modules on a later stage like payroll, is it possible?
    awaiting reply
    saravanan

    Hi,
Industry specific best practices will have additional scenario's (over and above base line BP) specific to the industry.
So if you want to only implement on ECO specific scenario's, activate Best practises accordingly.

  • IS Pharma and Baseline packages

    Hi.
We are about to set up the Pharmaceuticals Industry Solution, but we wish to do so on top of the latest Norwegian baseline package. Reading the IS Pharma quick guide, I get the impression that only US or German baseline is supported when you wish to add a IS Pharma on top. Is this correct?
We want to add Norwegian baseline layer 0, 1 and some layer 1 scenarios on top of the ECC 6.0 (ERP 2005) installation. Then the IS pharma package. Can this be done, and is it supported by SAP?
It would look something like this:
    5. IS Pharma
    4. Layer 1 Scenarios
    3. Layer 1 Building Blocks
    2. Layer 0 Building Blocks
    1. ERP ECC 6.0
Should the sequence be different, i.e. IS Pharma before Norwegian baseline?
    Regards,
    Thomas

We did not include the IS Pharma solution, so the question is not valid for us anymore.

  • ESS baseline package

I and my colleagues went to SMP and the following path to look for ESS baseline package:
swdc->Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group" SAP Application Components" SAP ERP" SAP ERP 6.0" Entry by Component" SAP XSS (Self Services)->SAP ESS600 ->OS independent
However what we see there are only support packages and patches for ESS 600.
Could you tell where to find the ESS baseline package?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
EA_HR is import patch present on backend system for ESS / MSS scenario.
Portal ESS / MSS patch should be in sync with EA_HR.
For your query regarding support stack equivalent for backend and EP system pls refer the below notes , which will give you clear idea abt patches.

  • Help: Best Practice Baseline Package experience

    All,
Can I ask for some feedback from folks who've used the Best Practice Baseline package before - I'm in a project implementing ECC 6.0 and we're planning to use this package to quickly set up and demo the system to the business.  I've limited experience in config and system setup so your advice is much appreciated
    Specifically my questions:
    1.  Has anyone used the package for a similar purpose (quick setup to demo to business)?  Does it save a lot of time or should our team just configure the system manually?  Are there pitfalls I should be aware of?
    2.  I understand a limited amount of config / master data customisation can be done and there's even a wizard.  Is it effective and error-free - i.e., will I be better off by installing the base package and make changes later manually ?
    3.  Assuming after the demo we have firmed business requirements, which approach would be faster and easier?  Configuring from scratch vs. using existing BP baseline then doing delta configuration?
    4.  Does the documentation tell me exactly what was configured and the settings used?
Appreciate any help and insight you can offer, thanks!!

No, you need to need to activate in all clients. Just activate this in one client and create another clietns with copy from this client.

    Thanks a lot!!

    Hi,
If you are able to download it directly then i dont think it is a paid consulting.
Prior to providing the service, SAP mentions that it would be a paid service & asks for your approval. If you give the approval, then only it processes further.
If you are not prompted with any such information, then please go ahead & download.

  • Install The ERP SAP Best Practices Baseline Package (VE)

    Hello
We would like to install The ERP SAP Best Practices Baseline Package (VE)
And reviewing the  Quick Guide to Installing the SAP Best Practices Baseline Package (VE), included in the SAP NOTE 1171816, in the list of components installed we need SAP ERP 6.0 with EhP3 with support package stack 1, but we received the installation disc of the Ehp4, and this version is not supported for the Baseline Package (VE).
We are unable to find the installation the disc, or the media list for this solution (SAP ECC 6.0 EhP3).
Can somebody tell me where can i find this?
The information in the service.sap.com/instguides is about installing EhP4.
We are using Windows 2008 EE with MS-SQL 2005.
