Schduling in Recipe

Dear All.
I want to check the schduling in Master Recipe C202 transaction for updating same in material master, i have maintained Machine time & Labour time in recipe then i try in recipe from menu bar RecipeSchdulingSchdule but not getting activity time for phase, start & finish time is 7:00 only. Same thing is happenning in Routing properly then why it is not working in Recipe?
I have maintained relationship between phases also.
Due to this after process order creation for all phases start & finish time is showing 7:00 only.
Please suggest how to resolve same.

Just my 2cent idea.
Did you check this tcode OPUZ - Check is the <Automatic scheduling> is checked ?
Do you using finite scheduling - If yes also check in your Resources TcodeCRC3.
In the Capacity tab and check whether in Planning Details Relevant for Finite scheduling is activate or not.

Hi Kirran,
Please see if you have defined a status scheme and assigned it to the recipe type. Before defining a status scheme, you must complete the one time IMG activity 'Collect Object Types and Assigned Attributes' under Recipe Development > Status Management. Then in the next node you define individual statuses and a scheme with transitions. For each status, you must define 'field value' for the field RCP_USAGE which is nothing but a value from Recipe Purposes customizing.

Error while deleting recipe

Hi Experts,
I am getting the following error "Task list 50000159 01 (type 50000159) is still used in inspection lots" while deleting a master recipe using t code C298.
Please note I am note getting any inspection lot where this recipe group is used (checked in MD04).
Is it possible to delete a recipe where there in open inspection lots? Because in this case all process orders are already given status TECO and inspection lots are generated mostly during inprocess.
Kindly give a solution to solve the above error.

dear Friend,
1. go to C202, give material no and plant then enter
2. click on recipe header tab,click on article/ material assignment push button and see this recipe is assigned to any other material. if it is assigned then also deleting is not possible
3. if it is not not assined to other material, then u have to settle all the orders which were used this recipe. because if u set order to TECO is not enough, during settlement again it checks ur recipe
4. Do order settlement and close the order then delete the recipe

This value is stored in table driver directly from QA32 usage decision. We have maintain the classification view with moisture & Assay in %. for every batch the % moisture & Assay is different. Now i want to adopt the recipe formula for API calculation. The formula for calculation is as per below.
=(Bom Component Qty* Moisture contain %- Bom Component Qty* Assay%)/100
Please guide me with screen shot, how i can map it in recipe formula...

Master recipes operations not getting transfered in SNP PDS to APO from R3

Hello APO Gurus,
I am trying to transfer SNP PDS for master receipes from R3 to APO.
Issue description::
The operation is not getting transfered correctly , some system default operation "010 generated Operation (from Planned Delive)" is getting generated in APO, also activity and resource capacity is not getting transfered. This situation exist for one plant 1000, for other plant 1100 the SNP PDS created correctly.
i have following points:
1. Is there some customizing setting missing on R3 or APO side for plant 1000 tbefore SNP PDS transfer
2. What need to be checked on master recipes data in R3,
i have checked on below points
1. FG Materials and all the Component Material to be in APO in a Active Integration Model.
2. BOM & Routing and Production Version setup correctly.
3. The Routing Operations have to Relevant to 'SCHEDULING'.
4. Try deleting the existing Integration model for materials & re-create new IM & activate.
Please help me to send SNP PDS correctly to APO to take heuristic run.

Hi,
It is good that you have given your already checked points.
Please check the following things also and try to retransfer the PDS.
1. Check your resource in ECC, whether you have maintained the Process formula.
2. Check you have maintained some values in Master Recipe for processing time
3. Check whether the resource has been transferred for your plant 1000 to APO and an active IM exists.
4. Also check the type of the resource transferred to APO. It should be a single-mixed/ multi-mixed or bucket resource.

Limitation on a material basis or another filed in recipe.

Hi All,
I wasnt to grant access to recipes to users depending on the data that is given in the recipe (e.g. per application field or material,u2026).E.g. some users are allowed to see/change recipe of material XYZ, while other users are not allowed to see/change a recipe of material XYZ.
So , can you please find out, if there is any possibility to create a check or whatsoever to include such an access limitation on a material basis (or another field in the recipe) on recipes?

It is not common that authorizations must be based on material codes of the recipe header;
it is usual , however, to create some roles based on Authotization objet VAGRP from C_ROUT_MAT.-
Many VAGRP ( or Planner Group in the Recipe Header) can be created in Customizing and assigned to the recipe header.

How do i stop Firefox crashes when I want to print a recipie from web

I have gone to a number of websites in the last few days and every time i try to print a form or a recipie, firefox crashes and will not allow me to print from any site

Passing the values in Recipe PLM WEBUI

Created a new tab for Recipe via customization in PLM Web UI. But I am not able to create new fields in the screen and pass the values.
Please let me know the configuration steps and how to pass the values to PLM Web UI

You will have to create 'New Selection' in either Row/Columns (wherever you wish to display the Key Figures) or you could also create a 'Restricted Key figure'.
In the First Selection / RKF.. select the ey Figure for 'No of Employee' and then select the Characteristic for the From/To Period (0I_FPER).
In the second Selection / RKF..select the Key Figure for the Amount and then select the Char for the From/To Period (0I_FPER).
If there is any other characteristic which is used for identifying the Employees that have resigned, (say for Eg. Employee Status could be 0 for resigned employee, a hypothetical case), select the char. for Employee status with the value '0' and include it in both the selections / RKFs and you will get the desired results.
Pl remember, if you select a period variable with a range (i.e. from and to values within the same variable) , then you will get only one column for 'Amount' and the value in this column will be for value for the period.
If you want Amount for From and To values to appear in two different columns , the do not select variable with a 'range'. Instead select two variables with single value , one each from From and To. (However, I am not sure if you requirement wants From and To in two different columns, although, you are saying so !!!). If you select two variable (say for eg. ZPERIOD1 and ZPERIOD2 then in your selections you will not use 0I_FPER instead the new variables).

Schduling background jobs not showing in sm37

Hi,
I scheduled the jobs : Z_MM_INVENTORY_REPORT, RM07MLBS on daily basis from 03/22/2011.Its running successfully upto 03/26/2011 daily,after that when iam checking on SM37 from 03/27/2011 to 03/31/2011 it showing schduled on 03/27/2011 not running. and remaining dates 28,29,30,31 not showing any thing(means not scheduling).
what could may be the reason for not running that jobs.

The periodical jobs create the next job, when the current job changes is status from Released to Active. Since your Job on 27th is having some issue, the Job for 28th has not been created, simillarly the rest.

There is no Apple print service for iBooks, and iPhoto can also only print photo books created in iPhoto.
Print your iBook to pdf. Then you have several option:
Save the pdf to a thumbsdrive/stick and take it to the nearest print shop close to your home.
Search online for "self publishing" services available in your country.
Recreate your book as an iPhoto Book. This will be a lot of work, since iPhoto's templates are more suitable for Picture books than books with lots of formatted text. To speed things up, you could use "Preview" to export the pages of your book as jpegs (high quality, at least 300 dpi) and add themas full-page photos to a new PhotoBook. This can be sent to apple for printing.
But the first two options would be much less trouble and probably be less expensive.

Apple can fix it without your receipt or box. They pull the serial number from the device and determine warranty status from that. Hopefully ApplCare was registered to the product before you lost the receipt though. If not, you can go back to the point of purchase and obtain your AppleCare receipt and Apple can help attach it to the iPhone.

Ideas for recipe program?

Hey all. I'm going to start making a recipe storage program, that will allow storage, finding, and editing of recipes (Figured it would be a good program to practice more advanced stuff than I've done). I needed some help figuring out how to store, find, and edit recipes.
I know I could probably just figure out a way to use a text file, but that seems inefficient and annoying to add additional recipes, get them all read back in, and keep them in alphabetical order (or at least put them in alphabetical order after reading them in). Are there any more options for something like I'm trying to do? Maybe some sort of a database? I haven't learned anything about them, however, so I'm not sure if that's even the purpose of those.

I don't know if I agree with this sentiment. Everyone had to learn such things somehow, and asking about it shouldn't automatically disqualify me from trying to learn it. It may be advanced, and I will look into it and see, but that doesn't mean it shouldnt be presented at least. Thank you for the suggestion of XML though. I will look into that one as well as the others and see which one will be the best fit.
On the main topic:
First off, I know I didn't really give requirements. The program is still in my head at the moment, since I wanted to figure out the data storage first. I'm still somewhat new to programming, so I don't want to start off too high. At first, I want to be able to have a basic program that just stores these recipes, and can be found later. I'm hoping to also eventually add ways to increase portion sizes (Kind of like allrecipes.com I believe), possibly a shopping list feature that will let you input current stock and figure out what is needed for the recipe (Almost exactly like the pantry idea, which I think would also be awesome). But again, I don't want to bite off more than I can chew; Hence why I didn't really give any real requirements as of yet.
Databases seem pretty flexible by what I've read so far, and I don't plan to use anything web-wise. They also seem, however, pretty difficult. I guess I'll attempt to read up on them and try to figure them out, and if I can't I might fall back onto XML until I can.

Recipe Management error while creating Recipe

Hi,
While creating recipe in Recipe Management (Tcode: RMWB), in the process tab, I am unable to create a STAGE no.
When I try to create stage (4 digit numeric) it gives me an error message "Change number 500000000000 does not exist"

One of the following situations caused the error message:
1. You want to edit a BOM or routing using change number 500000000000.
2. You entered change number 500000000000 in order to display or change the change master.
Change number 500000000000 which you entered does not exist in the system.
Procedure
Check your entry. Correct the change number if appropriate.
Please help in solving the above issue.

Hi Jag,
Are there recipes in the system (after an upgrade)?
When you start with the recipe management the system create automatically a dummy change number (with the profil setting RCP01). The change number is stored in the table RCPC_AENNR; to read the change number , please use the function module RCP899_DUMMY_AENNR_READ.
If the change number 500000000 the dummy, please correct the settings of the change managment if the change number is missing.

What's the reason behind it.
Regarding error CO636,
- Check your BOM of that 500000010 might be components are missing over here.
or
- might be From to To lot size of BOM is not match with your Process order qty.
or
- Also check Valid From to To Date of your BOM.
