Schedular/Agent crash-Merant 5.3-OBIEE 11.1.1.6 (4cluster)- sqlserver2008

Question

Currently running OBIEE 11g, 4 cluster against SQL Server 2008.
OBIEE 11.1.1.6 - 4 cluster, sql server 2008 analytics environment.
We have created an Agent sending out report to over 200 users.
The Agent/Schedular routinely crashes and also significant slowdown in dashboard
performance.
On our Primary Server (BI_Server1) were utilizing the Merant 5.3.32 bit ODBC drivers againts the instance1_MSSS. It what the OBIEE install wizard sets up by default on our Primary Server.
We've recently replaced our backup Cluster to another existing server as well.
Both the old and new backup server ODBC are setup by default with the SQL Server
Thin Client accessing the instance1_MSSS.
There is a new Merant 6.0 64 bit ODBC driver available and was shipped with the OBIEE 11.1.1.6 install. Has anyone ran into this Schedular issue? Could upgrading the Merant Driver resolve this issue?

Once the atz and atn logging options have been enabled , seen this error on bisever1 log files.
Failure unspecified at GSS-API level (Mechanism level: Invalid argument (400) – Cannot find key of appropriate type to decrypt AP REP – RC4 with HMAC)
Active Directory account is configured to use the default encryption type on Windows (RC4-HMAC). You can switch to use DES, by selecting “use DES encryption” in the AD account settings.
In order to use RC4-HMAC, update the Kerberos configuration file to specify the encryption type.
