when i'm trying to schedule the time to run the report it asking report parameter.
i can only select the @ResultType parameter from the drop down menu.
but how can i select the @datefrom and @dateTo?

Hello friends,
I have had a look but can't find any information on this:
Does anyone know if it is at all possible to auto-schedule more than one startup/shutdown per day? Currently I have my new macbook turning on at 5.55am then off at 6.55am - but I would like it to turn back on at 6.15pm, as I return home from work - just for convenience.

Thanks for the advice. I take it the wake up function does not work if the lid is closed on a macbook? Even with something like Insomnia running? I hate to leave my Macbook open and let it collect dust all the time.

WSUS scheduling auto reboot check since no user is logged on.

is there any way of stopping windows updates reboots when no user is logged on ?
started adding servers to update via WSUS and reboot when no user is logged on.
and logging off non active sessions is some sort of security requirement.

You can change your WSUS download type for those servers with client side targeting.
Change it to the download but do not restart option. Then set it to whichever works best for you.
Probably Option 2 or 4.

I have a MBP 13 running 10.6.2. I schedule an auto shutdown everyday at 6am. when i issue command 'pmset -g sched' from terminal, it gives me

Gmatroni it should only need cti enabled but i have tried it with the control groups as well to no avail.he

Yes this was also my thinking.
I forgot to add i have tried upgrading the UCM to 7.0.3 and CUE to 7.0.3 to try and erradicate the problem.
The UCM is now back at 7.0.1 and the CUE at 7.03.
The compatiblity matrix said they should be compatible.
I still believe this is some kind of application/software incompatibility issue.
Maybe you could recommend a sugested patch?

Forward scheduling auto post to future date

Hi all,
I have got a problem about post goods issue. When post to a past GI date, the system said "Delivery date cannot be met, forward scheduling to delivery date 10.07.05 00:00 Message no. VL127" and post to today date automatically. It should not allow to post.
Anyone know what is the problem?

How to schedule auto shutdown and not wait 10 minutes

I am working on an installation of a mac mini at a kiosk and need it to shutdown at a certain time every day. But when I set it to shutdown at 9pm a countdown starts from 10minutes. Is there a way to make this shutdown in 30 seconds?

yes, it does seem to give a 10 minute warning. not sure why this is a problem. can't you just schedule it to shut down at 8:50pm if it has to be on till 9pm? other than this you can always bypass the energy saver (just turn it off) and schedule a shutdown using your own launch daemon. get lingon http://sourceforge.net/projects/lingon/files/ and make a *users daemon* that runs every day at 9pm an executes the command
shutdown -h now
Note: this will give NO warning and just shut down the system at 9pm every day.

yes, you can. go to transaction OPU6, and check the checkbox "Schedule Automatically". You do not need to reschedule in that case.

Using DBMS_JOB to schedule auto execution of procedure on a daily basis

I need to implement a batch procedure for my project and would be using
DBMS_JOB for the same purpose.I have tried creating a job for the same
that I submitted using DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT() and I ran the job initially using
DBMS_JOB.run(). Now at this instant the next_time parameter to run the proc
is calculated automaticlly. How does the proc run automatically after that
in specified interval of time?? Do I need to access some dba_XX views for the
same.....or set some database parameters??

You will need to set the "interval" portion of the job. Either with dbms_job.submit, or dbms_job.interval.
Lets say you wanted to run the job every morning at 4:30am, it would be:
trunc(sysdate)+1+4/24+30/1440
The "+1" increases it one day.
The "+4/24" increases it 4 hours.
The "+30/1440" increases it 30 minutes.

GR/IR a/c not auto-clearing

Hi All,
The GR/IR account has to be cleared automatically once the Invoice Receipt matches Goods Receipt. However, this isn't happening since Jan 2nd, 2007.
I checked the scheduler that schedules auto clearing, it appears to be correct.
I checked auto clearing (SAPF124) configuration, the first criteria is Purchasing Document (EBELN) and the second criteria is Item (EBELP).
What can be the possible reasons? What can I do to atleast find why the error is occuring. Is there any diagnosis i can do?

Hi Melody, sorry for the late reply. As I understand as per the SAP documentation, that quotes in referece to the GR/IR special indicator,
"It only makes sense to use this indicator if the assignment of invoice receipts to the corresponding goods receipts using the purchase order number and the purchase order item is not sufficient (such as with scheduling agreements)."
If this is checked, then in addition to the PO and line item ("EBELN EBELP" which is specified in OB74) "documents are assigned to GR/IR accounts using the material document".
So when you check this indicator you're comparing 3 things, material doc, PO number n line item. In a PO you dont need to compare material doc. If you do check the box there would be no error thrown, just that it would slow down the system. Hence, it is advised not to check the "GR/IR special indicator" in case of a PO.

Auto Start-Up in OS 9.2 ??

Does OS 9.2 have a scheduled auto start-up and auto shut-down option like 10.4 does?
I have a G3 Wallstreet which had 8.6 on it. I just installed 10.2 because I wanted to use the screen saver feature to turn the machine into a Photo Display. But, 10.2 doesn't have Auto start-up and shut-down features like 10.3 & 10.4. (can't run these later ones on the Wallstreet).
I seem to remember 9.2 had it (and 8.6) but I can't be sure. Before I go out and find a 9.2 CD I thought I'd better ask.

I just installed OS 9.2.1 and discovered that the Energy Saver / Schedule tab is not as you described. I only have the option of: "Wake up the Computer" and "Put the Computer to Sleep", with days of the week to choose from and time settings.
Maybe what you have is part of an update from 9.2.1?

Schedule rman script in Windows 2003

Oracle 10.2. I wrote a rman script and tried to schedule auto run in Windows 2003 server. I got this errors:

Here is how I set it up:
go to Control Panel>Scheduled Tasks>Add Scheduled Task, find rman_backup.bat, choose the run time and finish it. When asking for user name and password, I supply the user which is in oracle dba group.
But when it run, it just produced the above error and won't run.

Auto License Management in solman causing Issues

Hi Team,
I was trying to schedule auto-license ON in solman.
I have scheduled everything :
As a result of this :
The maintenance licenses were able to reach from service market place to solman.
Although the satellite system license going to expire within 30 days (yellow status) still the new one there in solman is not getting applied to satellite system.
FYI:
Satellite system Maintenance license status Received License
SID Yellow Green
I have checked SDCCN maintenance task : there also I couldn't see any errors.
Let me know what is the job that applies this license in target system

Cisco WLC PSK Scheduled for Autogeneration

Hi All,
Is there a way to schedule Auto Generation of PSK for Guest WLAN in WLC or PI for every week/month?
We want to use WPA+WPA2 layer2 security with PSK on our Guest WLAN with just a splash screen acknowledging our policy without user/name password.
Are you aware of any way to automate PSK key creation. We would like to be able to change it weekly or monthly.

Why do you need SSIS for this? Why not simply set a subscription to deliver reports in csv format through mail?

Is there a possibility to schedule auto switch on/off the airplane mode/wifi/bluetooth/3G/voice ot to bring icons to the main screen? Thanks.

I don't have answers for all of your questions but so far:
2. When you use the plasmoid for unmounting (don't know what it is called in english), you should see the icon of the plasmoid changing when it is safe to unplug. At least it works like that for my USB stick, I have to admit I didn't really look at it when I unmount my external harddrive since I read somewhere that you should wait a bit before unplugging because else you get a nasty sound in the harddrive which doesn't mean anything good. So I unmount it and do something else until I unplug it a minute or so later.
4. I think I read somewhere that archassistant (in AUR) is capable of managing wireless connections, but I don't know it exactly because I'm not using it, you could do a search here.
5. Thats really something you have to see for yourself. Many like MPD plus client, I for myself am also waiting for the QT4 version of amarok and at the moment I use music on console for simple listening to my already prepared playlists and folders. Works for me at the moment, as long as I don't want to make any new playlists at least.
