Schedule starts 1 hour later than should - how sort?

Hi,
Scheduled process flow created and running but runs 1 hour later than should.
Look in all_scheduler_jobs and says should run daily at 10. 00 p.m but when look at all_scheduler_job_run_details shows start timne of 11.00 p.m each day.
select sysdate form dual shows correct time.
How do we cleanly set up schedule so starts at runtime rather or is it a databse parameter we need change.
Based in UK 0 - all_scheduler_jobs shows UTC but no + 1 hour so not sure why kicking off 1 hour later than should.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks

Did the (or does the) machine used with the design client when deploying the mapping job have a different time? Thats what I think is most probably. The time in the database scheduler table is dervied from the schedule defined in OWB, the code for the schedule is generated on the design client.
Cheers
David

I identified req_start_date and actual_start_date are not same. Job started 1 hour late than scheduled.
Database has been configured with following -
    job_queue_processes integer 1000
    processes integer 150
    sessions integer 248
Please suggest, why job started approximately 1 hour latter.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Perhaps you also need to increase the PROCESSES parameter to a value of (at least) 1000?

  • Why when I sync my Iphone to my Mac all my Calendar to do´s appear as though due for one hour later than they show inmy computer? Does anyone know how to fix it??

    Hi,
can any one tell me why  when I sync my Iphone to my Mac all my Calendar to do´s appear as though due for one hour later than they show in my computer? Does anyone know how to fix it??

Not simple enough. Please read the original concern.
The issue is not "getting music to the new machine" or "authorizing the new machine" or "transferring purchases from an idevice". The issue is that after doing all those things, even creating a backup using the new iTunes/Mac, syncing my device with the new library erases all the app data from the iPhone, as well as folder structure and page layout. Music is expendable in this situation as it's just a matter of moving the files around. (Which I did before I ever started this exercise.)
The problem is that everything from email accounts to folders are lost when I sync the device with a new computer. I tried this on my iPad first and spent a good deal of time re-arranging everything and getting all the data back. The pictures are just gone. Good thing I backed them up on the old PC.
It won't be as simple on my iPhone as I have a ton of stuff on it and can't afford to lose anything. Some of the data is gave saves and such, but other things are more important. And I don't want to lose those game saves either.

  • I have managed to sync my iPhone 4 to my btyahoo calendar with caldav.  All entries appear on the phone calendar on the correct date, but the time given is always 5 hours later than the (correct) time on the computer. How can I rectify this?

Why do the times for each event or appointment appear on the phone calendar exactly 5 hours later than the correct times entered into the Yahoo calendar on my P.C?  Is there a way of rectifying this, either on the Yahoo calendar site, or on the iPhone?

You got the new iphone?????   I have same problem.  I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was).  Have you found a solution?????   I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

I have an MSSQL table with a date column. I have created an external content type which pulls data from from this MSSQL table. But when the content type is shown in a list in Sharepoint 2010 site, the date is 1 hour later than the date from the MSSQL table?

I'm going to guess that this has to do with server time and sharepoint time. SharePoint time can be found under regional settings. Check to see that it's consistent with the time zone of your other server.

  • Siri creates reminder one hour later than requested

Hello, dear community. I have recently noticed that Siri creates reminders one hour later than needed (e.g. when asked for 10PM creates it for 11PM (see the screenshot)).
I live in Moscow, Russia, so I believe this has to deal with our new Time zone, which is GMT+4. I have automatic time enabled in settings for Moscow.
I guess this is a nasty bug and would like to help fixing it.

    Hi,
I have exactly the same issue.. My time zone is GMT+3 (Jerusalem). iPhone 5, ios7.0.1

  • Blackberry Calendar Entries showing as starting 1HR later than Lotus Notes

    Hi Guys,
I have a user who has a Blackberry 8300 with Blackberry Version 4.2.2.146.
What is happening is, when he schedules or accepts meetings on Lotus Notes, once it has synchronized over to the Blackberry via the BES, it is showing the meeting entries as being 1 hour later.
I believe this happened when Daylight Savings was changed but its still keeping the time stamps in the emails as being out by 1 hour.
On the Blackberry the time is correct, and on the PC the time is correct.
    Any idea's?
Note: There are other 8300's with the same OS version that don't exhibit this issue. Only seems to be this one user currently.
    Much Appreciated.

Might lead nowhere but as you have 8300s that have no Lotus notes issues and you have one 8300 that has an issue you have them under your control.  Take one of the functioning 8300s and do a sise by side compare and note with the errant 8300.
One place to check and confirm settings is Options>Date/Time
Check to see if both units have the same settings.  Quite frankly all else being equal that is the only area that I can think of that would account for a one hour time variance.

  • Iphone Calendar times are alwasy 1 hour later than what is in Outlook 2003

Check your Daylight Savings time settings, as well as the time zone settings.
Thanks. I was having the same problem. I downloaded the San Diego Chargers' schedule from their website, and it was showing the correct times on my iMac, but my iPhone was always 1 hour ahead. I found that I had "Time Zone Support" turned ON, but didn't have a time zone selected. I selected "Pacifica" for my time zone and now all the game times correct.

  • IPhone OS4 alarm went off one hour later than scheduled

I live in the UK and have a weekly alarm normally set for 530 am.
My clock was showing yesterday (Sunday) the right time since daylight savings changed.
I changed the time of the alarm to 458 last evening (ie since the time zone change), and the alarm went off at 558 this morning instead. The clock time is right. The alarm time is showing the time i wanted it to go.
There is a bug with existing alarms carrying forward with changes to DST, even if the alarm is amended.
Please confirm the issue - it meant i missed my weekly flight to Prague this morning !!

Hi there. There seem to be only 2 ways round this at the moment:
    1. You just set all the existing saved alarms you have 1 hours earlier or
    2. Create a new alarm but DO NOT allocate it to days of the week as this is where the bug come into effect on my phone.
Test it yourself...set an alarm for 2 minutes time with no selected day or anything and it works, but set the alarm with days of the week it is to operate and you will find it then doesn't work!
The guys at Apple told me just to make all alarms 1 hours early, and then the first time I get woken up to early is the day the problem is fixed! :-/
I hope my observations might help someone, cheers

  • Ical events showing in week view as an hour later than the details in event

    Hi all,
I've just been upgrading my ical / mobileme and I can't figure this out. All time zones are set to London-UK. If I look up appointments in week view all my calendars are colour coded. One particular calendar appears 1hr late with appointments. When I go into the details of this even it show correct time. For example. Kids school looks like it's in for 9:50 in week view but when I go into appointment it reads the correct time of 08:50?
    Any ideas. Thanks

    Andrew,
Is there any way of dragging and dropping an iCal event showing in week view across to a date in the left sidebar monthly calendar?
No, but you can use cut/paste. Cut (⌘X) the event, then click on the week where you want to move the event, and Paste (⌘V).
If you have a suggestion for Apple to change that method use: Apple - Mac OS X - Feedback.

  • ALARM - why is it an hour later, rather than an hour earlier?

Does anybody know why the alarm is going off an hour late - I would have thought if anything, it should go off an hour early? My alarm used to go off at 7am each day - 7am has now become 6am, and yet the alarm is going off at 8am (which was 9am previously). So if it's working from an internal clock which hasn't changed, my alarm is now going off 2 hours later than a couple of days ago, for no reason! Hope this makes sense?! I might just be being stupid here, but this is really annoying me and I can't find any reason for it anywhere - people just keep saying, 'the iphone thinks it's still BST' but surely that would make the alarm go off an hour earlier?

Does anybody know why the alarm is going off an hour late - I would have thought if anything, it should go off an hour early?
If there was no adjustment made for the time change it would have gone off early. Probably two programers, working independently, put in adjustment code in different places. Either one of the adjustments would have been correct, but both together made it off one hour in the other direction.
A fix is on the way.

  • Scheduled start and finish dates in the Work order.

    Hi Friends,
I am facing peculiar issue that once the Work order has been released schedule start and finish dates should be derived from the control key and
operation hours and work center capacity, infact in my case while releasing the Work order, these dates (scheduled start & finish) are not been
populating in the Work order,(but SAP standard behavior is while releasing WO,the dates should be populated).
though i have maintained proper configuration
could you please light up some thing on it.

  • After installing IOS4 alarm ring 1 hour later

After upgrading IOS4 if alarm set's to ring only in some week day, it's ringing one hour later than set's. if alarm set for ring only one time it's working normaly

Same for me with an iPhone 3G... Probably it is something about time zones but why are Lithuanians and people of Sri Lanka punished only???
UPDATE: Yes, people, the problem is connected with particular time zones. I have just used the method mentioned earlier and have set my time zone to Helsinky/Finland (the same GMT+3 after DST started as in LTU) and alarm went off accurately! There are two possibilities now: 1) keeping 'home' time zone and setting the alarm one hour earlier or 2) living on Finnish time and waiting for the update of iOS4...
Hey, Apple, can you solve this?

  • DST worked great Alarm went off an hour late!!!

So I was late to a meeting this morning thanks to my iPhone 4. While the phone made the Daylight Savings Time change just fine and "fell back" an hour yesterday, I have an alarm set for 7:35 AM for weekdays only. This morning it did not go off until 8:35 AM. Oops, Apple! Clearly the phone got the message, but the Alarm function did not and 7:35 AM came an hour later than it should have. This is a HUGE PROBLEM!
I also have a original iPhone running iOS 3.1. Which not only correctly adjusted for the time change but set off the alarm at 7:30 AM. Too bad it was not in the bedroom without me. This suggests a problem with iOS 4, for which iTunes tells me I have the latest update.
Whats the fix for this bug Apple? One would think after the European debacle that someone would have double checked the US settings before this became a problem, no?

    Well DaVBMan,
Thanks for flaming and not discussing the problem realistically. First and foremost, code that handles dates and times needs boundary testing. It is hard to conceive of a newbie so new that they would mess this up so bad. You would think that Apple would have quality assurance testing on the iPhone operating system. I find it difficult to believe there wasn't a test for this, and if there was once, regression testing failed.
I get about an email a day from Apple (who knows my email address because I own their products). They have no problem trying to sell me this and that, and I have to filter through bunches of fluff to see my Apple invoices or other important emails such as ones about AppleCare. Despite their willingness to keep a constant stream of information flowing my way, and despite the fact I have AppleCare on my iPhone, they never sent me an alert that this was going to happen.
I know that large software companies don't like to advertise their bugs because people who think they never have any might hear about it. Maybe in my case, it is my fault that I got used to letting a machine remind me of my obligations, but the temptation to use the facilities in my iPhone was so strong.
As far as not watching the "News", or reading the "Blogs", what in the world makes you the person who judges others based on which news they watch, or whether they read blogs at all? I won't even ask you which news and blogs you think are so important that everyone was supposed to be watching them.

  • Ical appts. w/alerts are one hour off on iphone - how to fix?

when I create an appointment in ical, it syncs fine with iphone, but the alert (and the appointment) are set for one hour later than what they are set for in ical. The timezone on both is accurate...Any ideas?

    Thx Bernard,
    You are very helpful
When you went through the steps, were any of the settings different to those that I suggested?
......Yes, Time zone was uncheck in iCal and MM
I don't think you mentioned importing previously. Where are the events originally created?
.....I have a large spreadsheet of college athletic games that we keep in Excel and I import to iCal, they are ALWAYS one hour off after imported to iCal. Long before iPhone and MM too!
I don't see that MobileMe is especially different to dotmac - except that you now have explicit control over the time zone of the calendar (whereas it used to be set to the one from which you originally published).
...Honestly the TZ Support is a HUGE pain and causes Much more trouble for all than anything it is suppose to help with..., been that way ever since iCal came out...
One hour time differences often crop-up on a phone and are usually to do with daylight savings issues, but you don't mention a phone in your set-up so I am assuming this is not the case.
...again this one hour problem, has been an issue for me long before the iPhone and MM...
I have to say that I don't have issues with my calendars and I have these synced across different systems and devices, so for me it really is a non-issue. (I should also say that I travel frequently and don't have problems with events in multiple time zones either.)
...glad it works for you, but it appears this is an issue for many. I used Now Up-To-Date for 10+ years and NEVER had trouble with import/export/sync...
One thing I neglected to ask you is whether you do need to have time zone support - i.e. do you travel with any of the macs to which you sync or do you get invitations that originate in different time zones?
...I have no need for TZ Support even if I were and astronaut
It would also be enormously helpful if you would provide data on what version of OS X and iCal you are using.
    ....I am on 10.5.5 and iCal 3.0.5
    Thx Much
