Scheduled CR not changing parameter value in Infoview or CMC

Hello:
I have a crystal reports build with CR 2008 SP2, FP 2.3;
that is based on BEx Query with 3 sap bw variables.
When refreshing the report in CR Designer, I can change the parameter value and get the right results.
When in Infoview or CMC I can run the report on demand via crystal viewer in infoview, and change the parameter and get the right results.
When I SCHEDULE tthe crystal report either in Infoview or CMC, the values in the parameter field is NOT Changing....NOT UPDATING.
SO the report runs with the default values, and not the ones I selected.
CR paramaters are not getting passed to BEX variables.
Have you seen this before?
Backend = XI 3.1 SP2, FP 2.3
HPUX-iA64
BOBJTomcat
Data Source = SAP BW 7.0
CR = 2008 SP2 FP 2.3
Client tools = XI 3.1 SP2 FP 2.3

Cannot Change Parameter Value in afterParameterFormTrigger

I am unable to change parameter values in the afterParameterFormTrigger. All of the parameters are defined as global variables in the default package.
What I am trying to do is this:
In RDFs, I would have place holder or formula columns at the top level of the data model (outside of any query group), and the values of these would appear one time just within the root element of the XML data.
I saw that, with data templates, the parameters appear one time within the root element, so I thought I could just populate these in the default package, but it does not seem to let me. Is this possible?
If this is not possible, how can I do the equivalent of the place holder column (outside of any query in the RDF) that will output one value within the root element?

Sub report linking definition based on result, not on parameter value

Dear all,
I have created a report with CR 2008 SP6. The parameters from the referring BI query are period and customer. After the user enter parameter values, the report provides then Customer and product information.
I have add a sub report with additional information for product. I can transfer the parameter value (user input) for Customer to the sub report, but not for product, due to the fact that in the main report Product is not selected as parameter, but is a result set after the report is executed.
Is there a way to define in the Sub report linking exactly these result values of Product as new parameter for the sub report.
In the sub report linking definition I only see the possibility of defining the parameter as linking object, but not the report result set. See also the screenshot.

Where is the Subreport placed on the report?
Do you have a prompt in the Subreport for 'product'?
If yes, then here's open the 'Change Subreport Links' window > Move the Product field to the Pane on the right > From the drop down at the bottom left that says 'Subreport parameter field to use', choose the Product prompt.
If you don't have a prompt for product in the Subreport, then just move the Product field to the Pane on the right > From the drop down at the bottom right that says 'Select data in Subreport based on field', choose the Product field from the drop-down.

BAPI_PO_CHANGE does not change LIMIT value for service PO with ref to IDOC

Hi,
I am trying to change the limit values for both ACCTASSCAT (K) and item cat (D ie service PO) with ref to message type PORDCH IDOC type PORDCH02, the IDoc is getting posted but the PO is not getting updated ie LIMIT value is not getting change and returning msg "No data changed".
Could you please provide the way to change LIMIT value.

Are you really sure that your IT_SCH has the same fields like POITEM?
the delivery date and statistical delivery date are located in the schedule tab in ME23N and stored in the schedule table EKET, not in EKPO where the PO item data is stored.
I think you should assign your IT_SCH to POSCHEDULE

Not seeing parameter values in SBO while running a crystal report w/Zebra

I am using the crystal reports addon for SAP Business One. I created a report which prints a label (1"x3") on a zebra thermal printer. If I run the report within SAP Business One with a default printer other then the zebra printer I see the drop downs for the parameter values. However when I select the values and print it , the label does not print correctly. It appears as if crystal thinks the label is 3"x1". If I try to run the report with the zebra printer as a default printer within SAP Business One, the drop downs for selecting the parameters are gone.
If I run the report within crystal 2008 directly, I have no problems with printing the label properly as long as the Zebra Printer is not the default printer. I have updated crystal 2008 with all available service packs and updates. I have made registry entries on the server and workstations to allow more than enough values to be seen in the parameter dropdowns.
Does anyone have any idea why the report will not work when being executed within SAP Business One?

welcome to the Pages Discussions. The easiest way is, to show in both documents the thumbnail view (menu: "View/Show Thumbnail View"), select the page in the thumbnail view you want to copy and use the shortcut [command]+[C] or the menu item "Edit/Copy". Than make the document in which you want to paste the active one, click once into the thumbnail view and use the shortcut [command]+[V] or the menu item "Edit/Paste" to paste the copied page into the document.
I truth you have copied and pasted a section. In your case the section contains only one page. You can identify sections by the yellow frame in the thumbnail view. All styles will be copied, too. But be aware, that same named styles will be overwritte in the styles drawer. In your pasted section, the styles will stay the same like they were before pasting. But you have to create new styles of this pasted page to have them in the styles drawer for later reuse.
Only if you need to copy parts of single pages out of sections you have to select the content in groups of:
1) The text in the main text area (you can see it in the middle between the header and the footer by showing the layout guides with the menu item "View/Show Layout") and the inline (move with text) objects in it.
2) The Objects of the Master Page. Because if you paste them into a new page they will be fix positioned (free movable) objects.
3) The fix positioned objects.
If you need to copy an entire page out of a section, separate the page first by splitting it with the menu item "Insert/Section Break" from the rest of the section. Than do the copy and paste session I mentioned first in this post.

2 Select lists do not change the value

I am having a situation. I have 2 select lists . The second one is dependent of the first one. Data are retrieved perfectly.
These select lists are done in page 0 and they are used in the referenced page. Apexlib is used in the page 0
When I change the item of the second list, the returned value used in a report, is ok. It takes the correct one.
If I change the item of the fist select list, the returned value of the second select list does not change(the displayed value are correct). the report is run (after changing the first select list) but the wrong returned value of the second list is taken.
The correct value of the second one is taken only if page is submited or we change the option.
it seems that it keeps the last value of the second list according to the previous selection.
Both select list is without submit.
How can I make a "refresh" of the returned values of the second select list (the records are ok) after changing the first one?

is there any option in sap while creating a purhase requisition by copying from an existing Prequisition and change the value?.

easiest are steps 1) and 2) :)
make copy of your document, add new blank page on the end, select all pages without last - click delete icon :)
next - delete all MasterPages
next - redefine page size, margins, add MasterPages, etc.
now - you can copy&paste your texts from old document :)

DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE does not change the value of my screen fields

Hi,
I have a screen with a header area and a control with an ALV.
In my header area i have 2 fields shown as an icon. These icons should change
with an event triggered in the ALV (in handle_user_command)
In handle_user_command I check the values of a column in my ALV - I have 3 possible cases : a green led, a yellow led or a red led.
When i'm debugging the program, everything seems to be ok. In my table i see the new values of the icons, but when I see the screen afterwards the old values have not been replaced. (I also use an refresh of my ALV)
Any help is welcome!

Ssrs 2012 change parameter values

In an existing SSRS 2012 report, I have a requirement for a user to be able to select by multiple school(s) and/or multiple grade(s). This is fine except certain schools like elementary have grade levels of KG to 06, Middle school has grades of 06 to 09
and high school has grades of 10 to 12. Thus for example, if a user has initially selected grades 11 and 12 and then they select an elementary school that has grades KG through 06, the 'grade level' selection would need to change.
In other words, I am thinking of initially having the available and default values for the parameter called 'Grade' set to KG through 12. However if a school is selected that only has specific grade levels like elementary school, how can I override
the original grade level and only allow the user to select grades that the particular school contains?

I have tested on my local environment and you can create cascading parameter for Grade, for example, when you select "Elementary" in the School the grade dropdown list will display "1,2,3,4,5", when you select the "Middle",
the grade will display "6,7,8,9", when you select the "High", the grade will display "10,11,12".
If this is case, please reference to the details information below to achieve this:

Azure Scheduler does not persist body values upon save

We have created a POST HTTPs Job in Azure Scheduler. We had a body value saved and it was correctly being posted along with the request when scheduled. However, today the body value is no longer present and upon re-adding and saving the body value
is not persisted.

yes you are right, the body of the message is not saved, and the schedule always returns a failure because of this problem.

OBIEE-UNION Request navigate is not working (Parameter value is not passed)

Hi Experts,
Currently i am using the two combine request to show the report data in OBIEE. In the report i have the navigate to move to another request. Unfortunately the selected row data is not passed as prompt to the calling request if the source request is a combine (UNION) request. Please let me know if any of you guys found the same issue before and the resolution to resolve this.
OBIEE version is 10g.

if you are having a Union report as your source , then you cannot navigate for a particular selection in 10g with the navigate option available.
we can achieve this functionality with java script using PortalPageNav Function.

Swf in IE 7 not changing value when variable value in flashvar changes...

Hi Friends,
Below is decription of the file
1. I have a flash file which is loading php variable through flash vars.
2. The flash var variable contains the .txt filename in which data is kept.
3. When I open the php page the swf loads with variable having .txt filename and value containing swf path.
4. I have created timer in flash which check for change of value.
5. When value changes the other flash file loads.
6. All this works fine in all browsers except IE 7
ONLY ISSUE WITH IE 7 is
1. The swf not changing when value changes.
WHAT I NOTICED
1. When we click to load another tab in the same IE 7 browser the changed value that is another swf loads.
WHAT I THINK
1. Refreshing browser when value changes will solve the issue in IE7.
Pls. let me know your suggestion and if possible solution to this issue.

How to change the value in an Integer object?

Hi,
Is it possible to change the value that is contained in an Integer object.
I know Integer objects are immutable. So it might not be possible to chage to value in an integer object once its been initalized a value @ the time of construction.
Also does autoboxing and unboxing feature of 1.5 help acheive this?
Please let me know of any other alternative

help.It doesn't help in general. But in this special case it doesn't help because it doesn't anything to do with it. Do you really know what you're doing?
So across the function its not changing the value.
As I have created an object of Integer class and
passed a reference of that object into the chage()
,So any changes should have been reflected
acrosss method calls.?Since you let the newly created parameter-reference a point to a new Integer object: no. Why? You have two references to I(31). Then you move one reference to I(33). Why should 31 get another value?
Does the the java compiler creates a new Integer
object each time it does autoboxing Not necessarily. Some values are pooled. Actualy, the JVM does it. The compiler never creates any object.
