Scheduled feature

In the Nokia9300 phone you can add timing to send a text message (If you select Scheduled, you must define the date and time when the message will be sent).
My question is what are the new phones have this feature ????

  • SQL Report Builder 3.0 Automatic Scheduling feature ?

    Hello All,
We have installed and commissioned a HMI SCADA solution for Shell Petroleum South Africa, We are using Copa Data Zenon for our HMI solution, Zenon's historian are writing variable values into a SQL database from where we are reading these variables with
    I-net Clear Reports.
However, I net  Clear Reports uses a "PLUS" license which is used for the scheduling function. The license is priced based on the amount of CPU Cores the server has and ours has 16 cores so the license is extremely expensive.
    What we need :
To create a report with values from a SQL Database.
Report must be able to be scheduled, to run at specific time.
I have done some testing and used the same SQL queries we used in I-net clear reports.
SQL Report Builder 3.0 does get the variable values when you hit "run" , but it does not look like there is an automatic report scheduling function ? We want to execute a daily , weekly & monthly report.
Does a Scheduling feature exist ?? Please advise
I would highly appreciate your assistance.
    Regards.

    Hello,
Report Builder 3.0 is just a report authoring tool. You can design and preview the report with Report Builder,or you can publish your report to a report server or a report server in SharePoint integrated mode, where others can run it. There is no schedule
running function in Report Builder which can processing the report automatically.
SQL Server Reporting Services Standard edition or high edition support email and file share subscriptions and scheduling. You can create subscriptions that can automatic running the report based on a schedule(daily , weekly or monthly ) and send reports
to a shared folder or to an e-mail address.

Does airport express have auto on/off schedule feature? Or any other ways to turn it on/off automatically.

The Timed Access feature of the AirPort Express will allow you set the specific times that each wireless device will be allowed to connect to the wireless network each day.
However, this feature cannot be used to "turn on", or "turn off" the AirPort Express device.

  • Preventive Maintenance Schedule Feature available?

    Hello,
we want to use CRM on demand as a our service management system. I'm trying to find out if it is possible to create scheduled service requests for assets. I.e. Asset 1 gets a service request created automatically every 3 months, Asset 2 gets one every 6 months, etc.
Anybody aware of such a feature or add-on?
    Thanks
    Tobias

    Hello Tobias
I don't think this type of facility is available as of now. But It can be done by developing a webservice application

5 logged in to DB as Admin and granted v$parameter privlages
then i log in to disco desktop with the user i specified in batchuser script and open a workbook
when i schedule it i get the error

whats going on can anybody help me please
    thanks

    Hi
It is possible that you have set the default tablespace for the batch user the system tablespace. This is a mistake, use the users tablespace for example.

  • WEBI 3.1 Scheduling with Prompts issue

A developer built a webi report using a prompt filter using a single-select "Year". Then they tested the Scheduling feature in infoview. Works fine. Later, the developer changed the report prompt to an InList "multi select" to filter to handle multiple years. The problem is, the Scheduler didnt update to a multi select as well. Is this a bug in BO 3.1 SP2?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
It maybe - you should check the Fixed Issues list for higher releases, for an ADAPT bug reference which fits your symptom.
to be elegible for Support OSS, you'll need to be on SP03 minimum, with most customers on SP03 FP3.7, SP04 FP4.1, or SP05

  • Scheduled system image backup windows 8.1

    Hello,
in windows 8.1. there is an option to create a system image backup.
What can be done to configure this as a scheduled job to backup a machine every night as an image?
    Thx

    Hi,
Since MS took away the scheduling feature in System image backup, we can only use script  in the Task Scheduler as Chrise mentioned.
You can also refer to this article:

  • Scheduling dashboard or flash file

    Hello expert,
I want to design a WEBI report including multiple tables and a line chart. I want to implement this line chart in xcelsius , and combine it with WEBI in dashboard builder or I can directly develop this report wholly in XCELSIUS.
No matter what approach I take, I need to chedule the result report somewhere, and periodically send the report to my client.  but for flash file from xecelsius and dashboard file from dashboard builder, how can I implement this scheduling function?

    hi,
As per my knowledge, there is no scheduling feature available for dashboard developed either from 'Dashboard Builder' or 'Xcelsius'.
If you develop the entire content in WEBI, only then you will be able to schedule.

  • Scheduler on oc4j 10.1.2

    Hello All.
Is it possible to run scheduler feature (from new realize - 10.1.3) on current oc4j realise - 10.1.2 ?
We want to use scheduler but we need to use old version of oc4j.
    Thanks.
    Pasha.

    Hello,
OC4J 10g (10.1.2) and earlier releases do not have a scheduler built-in. But you can use the Open Source Java Scheduler Quartz[a] to achieve that.
You can find information about the specific OC4J configuration/usage in the following article:

  • Basic Help needed with Hyperion 9.3 Scheduling jobs

    Hi!
Is there anyone who would be willing to help a novice understand the Scheduling features in Hyperion 9.3? We are converting from Brio 6.6 where we used the "Broadcast Server". We don't yet have many jobs - so I'm not migrating them. But, the documentation with Hyperion is not helping me really understand how to set a job to actually do anything. I don't yet know how to add cycles and direct specific output to specific places. The jobs "run" and I've created events ...
If you would have some time to talk me through the process, I would be very grateful.
    Jeanne Loehnis

I agree about the documentation. It's not always easy to understand how to do something if your situation doesn't exactly match the examples. I had to use a lot of trial and error to finally get some jobs running.
The first misunderstanding I had was that if I want to schedule a document, I have to import my .bqy file as a job from the filesystem. You can't take an Interactive Reporting document from Workspace and use it as the basis of a job. So if you're using the web-based client and working on documents stored in Workspace you have to export the document to your filesystem and then import it as a job. You're probably beyond that point.
The second misunderstanding (and I wonder if this is your problem) is that you must set the job to allow users to create their own cycles for it. If you don't you're stuck with the default cycle set, and you cannot change it. This is where the documentation falls short -- it mentions the attribute, but doesn't go far enough to tell you what happens if you don't check it off -- that even you, as the owner-and-most-likely-also-administrator won't even be able to maninpulate the cycles. What's more, if you don't set this attribute on import, you can't set it later. There's no way to reach the dialog with Properties. I can't vouch for the Batch Scheduler, we don't license that (if it even applies). Maybe it's a bug, maybe I'm missing something, but this is the only way I can get the full functionality to work.
You will find this attribute on Step 3 of the import dialog "Interactive Reporting Job Properties". Check the box labeled "Users running this job can define their own cycles and actions". Once you finish and schedule the job, you can go to Manage Job Schedules and modify the schedule properties. Go to the Select Job Parameters tab, and create or use an existing parameter set (using the Go button).
This takes you to the Job Parameter dialog box, and that is where you set up your cycles and actions. You can set them up, save them as your own personal sets, or as public sets so your team can use them for other jobs. You should be able to make some headway here, the documentation becomes more useful again at this point.
    Hope this helps

  • Oracle Scheduler not picking up classes

    Hi
I am trying out the new Oracle Scheduler in release 3. I have set up an EAR with a scheduler-ejb.jar (just like in the demo). I have put the class files in to this jar inside the ear. I have an init servlet that then submits the job to the scheduler.

    SMTPOptions.getAttachments().add("application/xls","financialReport");
    to set the filename.
Is there anyway to make that filename followed by the date when the report is sent out (not the date when it's scheduled)?
    Thanks much for any help!
    Tuan

If you can do it in InfoView, then you can do it in code.
I think the time holder is something like "filename%SI_STARTTIME%" but I recommend trying scheduling it in InfoView to check.

    Ted Ueda

  • Email scheduling

Hello!  I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how I could schedule emails.  I would like to compose them immediately, but schedule them to be sent in the future.  Ideally, I would like to use the standard Mail application that is preloaded into my MacBook, but it looks like I will have to download a different application.  This application may be useful, however.  Do you know of one that, in addition to the scheduling feature, would allow me to use templates?  Thank you so much for your attention!  Sincerely, Dave

I read about an approach somewhere I have been using.
Insert a summary for a field that will exist if there are any records. Maybe Count(field_x).
Create a formula that divides by zero if this summary formula is NULL:
    1 / If IsNull(Count(field_x)) Then 0 Else 1
Place this formula somewhere on the report. This way when there are no records the report generates an error and the scheduled report fails. Note that on the History tab you will have a failure notice for each time this happens.

  • How to schedule RMAN backup

    Hi experts,
I need to schedule automated RMAN backups in 10G(RMAN database) and i need to include the support for Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g database backups.
Any type of suggestions are welcome.
    Thanx in Advance,
    Senthil

    Hi,
Where do you want to backup to? Do you want to backup to disk or to tape drive? Many of the tape drive softwares does have the capability of scheduling the jobs. If you want to backup to disk, then you can use your OS scheduling features.
Before all of that, you will need to write and test indivudual scripts to backup and restore.
