Scheduled reminders showing a day earlier

When adding a reminder on my iPhone with a scheduled remind me on date the reminder shows up a day earlier. Example, the remind me on date is Friday, however the reminder shows up for Thursday. Anyone else seeing this issue, heard of it, or know if it has been submitted as a bug.

Helo No Joy,
It sounds like your events synced to your computer from the phone and they are all an hour out of sync. I recommend verifying that time zone support is turned on with your iCloud calendar if you are using iCloud:
Use a time zone other than the default
In iCloud Calendar, choose Preferences from the Action pop-up menu below the sidebar.
Click Advanced, select “Enable time zone support,” then click Save.
With time zone support on, a “time zone” pop-up menu appears when you create an event, letting you set any time zone you want.
You can also reset the default time zone for your calendars (and their events) at any time.
From: iCloud: Change your calendar’s time zone

If not, I would verify that your iPhone date and time are set correctly with the correct time zone support information:
iOS: How to adjust Time Zone Support for calendars
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4576
To enable Time Zone Support for calendars
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Scroll down to Calendars.
Tap Time Zone Support.
Slide the slider for Time Zone Support to ON.
Tap Time Zone.
Enter your current location or the closest city in the same time zone and tap it when it appears in the results list.
And I would next verify that this information is correct on your computer as well:
Choose Calendar > Preferences, click Advanced, then select “Turn on time zone support.”
From: Calendar (Mavericks): View events in a different time zone

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Take care,

  • All Day/Recurring Events showing a day early

    Hello,
We recently deployed about 200 iphones and have been noticing that some people are experiencing an issue where only their all day or recurring all day events are showing on day early on their phone, while showing correctly in outlook.
I've done searches on the forums, but have not seen anything that was recent or applied to our situation. We do not allow users to sync to iTunes, and we have checked that time zones are matching.
If anyone has experienced and resolved this, it would be appreciated

jumping in to say i'm having the same problem on my ipad after updating to ios 5, and not only in list view. all recurring all-day events show up as one day early. it's correct on my computer, on my iphone and on mobileme, but wrong on the ipad.
ipad is set to the same timezone as all of the above. any suggestions?

  • IPhone/iPad calendar holidays show one day early?

I recently noticed that all of my holidays on my iPad Air and iPhone 5 show one day early.  For example, Christmas shows as being on December 24th.  Every holiday is like this.  I sync with Outlook 2007 and in there are 3 calendars:  "Calendar", "Calendar in iCloud", and "Mobile Calendar in iCloud".  The incorrect holidays are listed under "Calendar in iCloud".  Of course, I can simply uncheck the calendar and the holidays disappear but I'd kind of like them there.  Correctly.  Any suggestions?

FWIW, I have no such problem.....  Of course, I am "plain vanilla" Apple.

  • Facebook Events showing one day early in calendar iOS6

I recently updated to iOS6 and synced my facebook account with my calendar and contacts.
My problem is that all the facebook events I have joined are showing up as being 1 day earlier than they are on facebook.
Facebook Birthdays are displaying fine, it's just facebook events that are wrong.
Have tried deleting my fb account, turning facebook calendar sync off and on, re-starting my phone, and checked location settings

Since the iPhone is updated and disabling Time Zone Support does not affect the calendar events it, the issue is most likely related to Outlook/Exchange.
That logic seems somewhat flawed. Outlook displays it fine. Exchange displays it fine. Other phones display it fine. iPhone displays it wrong.
To me, issue is most likely related to iPhone?

Did you run into any errors or problems when trying the tips in the Resolution or Additional Information sections of the article you linked above?
No errors, Outlook was already set to my timezone, so I forced it to re-change it to my timezone again. It scanned through my appointments and then gave the message "No appointments, meetings or reminders were found that needed to be moved to the new time zone."

  • All day events in iCal on 3Gs w/ iOS 4.0.2 show up day early in List view

For some reasons, all day events on my Calendar (iCal synced via MobileMe) are showing up a day earlier on my iPhone, but only when I use List view. They appear fine when I use iCal on my MBP or iMac. This happens with all day events on my calendars and subscribed calendars (e.g., birthdays).
If I tap on an event in the Day or Month view, the correct date is listed. If I tap on it in the List view, the day before is listed as the date.
What in the heck is going wrong here?

I am having the same problem. I have tried different scenarios and it looks like its an issue with syncing from MobileMe. I thought I had it beat when I saw my preferences for in iCal were set to to start at 8AM and end at 6PM. I made it Midnight to Midnight but that did not fix it.
I am perplexed - has to be a bug!

  • Outlook Task reminders showing 1 hour early on BB

    Hi Folks,
The problem I am having is that all my Blackberry users connected to our BES10 server are having task reminders (set in outlook on on the phone directly) going off exactly 1 hour early.
Strangely calendar appointments and alarms etc. All go off at the correct times, its just Tasks that are causing an issue.
any help on this would be appreciated.
    thanks,

    Any help on this guys?
Driving my users and myself nuts - not having task reminders go off at the correct time.
    cheers.

  • Birthdays a day early in Calendar on Mountain Lion

On my Macbook Pro running Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion) all the birthdays from the "Birthdays" calendar are showing a day early in Calendar. E.g. When I browse to contact Joe Bloggs in Contacts it shows his birthday as 12/03/1987. When I go into Calendar, there is a full day event for Joe Bloggs' birthday on 11/03/1987.
In Calendar I have selected the correct timezone (New Zealand Time) and have also enabled "Turn on time zone support" in the preferences. On my iPhone, I have the same settings and the birthdays display on the correct date.
Is there anything I can do to get the birthdays to display on the correct date in Calendar on my Macbook Pro?
Just clarifying, the date format used here is dd/mm/yyyy.

I tried the "year" view, but it makes not difference.  A Spotlight search does not present the info in a calendar format, only in an events and reminders format. It also only seems to be finding the "today" view, but it is impossible to be sure since it only shows a time for the event but no date.  There has to be a way to find the last time or all the times I made a Dr.'s appointment without going through an entire year or more day by day.

  • Calendar shows some meetings a day early

I use Outlook for my master calendar. When I turned on iCloud on my iPhone 5c a few annoying things happened.
iCloud pulled all my meetings off my Outlook calendar up into the iCloud. I am not sure if I'd see any of my meetings in Outlook if I was off the Internet
A few meetings when viewed in Outlook are on the correct day and time. But when I look at them on my iPhone Calendar, these same meetings are showing up exactly one day early. For example I have a meeting that in Outlook is on Wednesday's from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. When I use the iPhone Calendar app it shows up on Tuesday's from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. When, on the iPhone, I look at its details it lists the Tuesday's time BUT adds "repeats every week on Wednesday."
On my old iPod Touch, for which I've never turned on iCloud, all the meetings show at the correct time. At least it was showing all the meetings correctly until I just now plugged it into iTunes and it synced. Now all the meetings that have been absorbed by iCloud are gone from the iPod.
Incidentally Outlook is running on my Windows 8.1 computer. On my iPhone iOS is fully updated. On my iPod Touch has iPOS 7.1 and not 7.1.1.
Question #1: How do I get the calendar on my iPhone (and I suspect my Touch if I turned on iCloud) to show all the meetings on the correct day and time?
Question #2: How do I get all my meetings mastered back in the Outlook My Calendar and not in iCloud? My preference is for Outlook to the the master schedule and iCloud (if I can't just leave it turned off) to synchronize with Outlook but not be greedy and steal all the meetings.
    Thank you
    Brian

When I click on the day it says "No Events".
I have people's birthday's that occur every year if that's what you mean by reoccurring, but who doesn't have that in their calendar?
I can take the date back to 1997 to way before I started entering appointments and it still shows the "dots".
The things I've read explain the "dots" mean I have an appointment on that day.
I appreciate the help so far. Solving this would be a great improvement for my calendar!
    Thank you for your time.

  • Why do all events in my calendar show up a day early?

All of my events, birthdays, appointments, etc., show up on my calendar a day before they are supposed to occur.  Birthdays are pulled from my contacts and in my contacts the date shows up correctly, but they all show up a day early in the actual calendar.  The holiday information is automatically pulled as well and each holiday also shows up in the calendar one day early.  Why does it do this and how can I fix it?

Connect your iPhone to you computer with the iPhone's USB connector. If iTunes doesn't sutomatically launch, open iTunes.
In the left hand column of the iTunes window, under Devices, your iphone should be listed.  Click on it, and a Summary Window on about your iPhone will appear.
Just below the Apple at the top center of the iTunes window you'll see "Summary, Info, Apps, Tones, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Photos".  Click on Info.  You'll see options to check like Sync Contacts, Calendars, Mail, Other, and Advanced.  Check the options you want to sync.  Do the same for Tones, Music, Movies, TV Shows, and Photos.
Then Click on the Summary button.  Under the Backup heading, make sure Backup to iCloud is checked.  Then you might have to click the Sync button in the bottom right corner of the iTunes Window (not sure about this last one).
    Good luck.

  • Birthdays show up on the calendar one day early.

All of the Birthdays that I loaded in the contacts show up one day early on my calendar.  Has anyone else seen this or does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

  • TS1347 My iPhone shows appointments a day early when synced with Outlook Calendar...

    Hi,
When I sync my iPhone calendar with Outlook, all the appointments appear a day earlier.
I have looked up earlier discussions on this topic, followed the instructions and have not yet found a resolution.  I have checked all time zones including Outlook, Windows, iPhone time settings and iphone calendar settings and they are all showing the same timezone.
I have read around and some people believe it is because we in New Zealand are in GMT +13hours (at the moment) and the iPhone calendar settings somehow don't cater for this properly.
Either way I have tried all previously suggested solutions and am now wondering if a solution to this had been found by someone, or it has been fixed by Apple.
    Thanks for your help,
    Sue

Tap the rectangle over the 2 lines and make sure it no longer shows up in red. At this point, you should have only the month view, no daily appointments below. Now press on a specific day, and this will either:
    1. Take you into the daily view with the hourly breakdown. If this is the case, tap the three horizontal lines at the top to get the list.
    2. Take you directly to the list view

  • Why do reminders show up one day late?

    Hey guys,
I just set up a few Reminders with due date 19. October 2011. I expected that these reminders show up on that date in the reminders list, because that is latest the day I want to get them done.
But unfortunately these reminders show up in the list on 20. October 2011 - one day too late!
    System: Mac OS X 10.7.2
Any idea what is happening here? Did I understand something wrong?
    Thanks for any hints!

    Thanks,
unfortunately the settings in iCloud as well as in iCal and on the iPhone and iPad are all set to Berlin/Germany.
Still iCal shows the upcoming reminder one day too late (not on the set due date 15th but on 16th, for example).
    Any further ideas?

  • Why are my calendar events showing up one day early on my ipad

Many of the all-day calendar entries in Outlook 2007 show up a day earlier on my iPad, but are fine on my iPhone. What gives? Any way to solve this?

You can use same ID on both devices.   It's common.
If you don't want to see contacts on both, just disable it under settings - mail, contacts, calendars - select your account, disable contacts
