Scheduled ship date not taking PO need by date

1. Please consider following case -
a. Sales order is created for org UK for item A for 10000 qty 24-Mar-2011 with order request date as 29-Mar-2011.
a1. There is no on-hand in UK for item A.
a2. The item lead time for item A, as defined in UK org in item attributes’ Lead times tab, is as following -
a21. Pre-processing time - 4 days
a22. Processing time - 20 days
a23. Post-Processing time - 1 day
a3. A standard purchase order for item A is created for 15000 quantity on 25-Mar-2011 with Need by date as 10-Apr-2011.
a4. The ATP rule that is attached to the item, is having Purchase orders checked, under supply sources.
Observation : Before purchase order creation, the scheduled ship date on SO was 28-Apr-2011 (item lead time of 25 days).
Then the PO is created as in point a3 and ASCP plan was run. The sales order line for item A is unscheduled and Rescheduled, the scheduled ship date becomes 25-Apr-2011.
Questions :
1.     Why did the scheduled ship date change to 25-Apr-2011?
2.     What all things it is taking into consideration?
3.     As per our understanding, the scheduled ship date should have been changed to PO Need by date. But this didn’t happen. Is our understanding flawed?

when we try to Rescheduled out the PO and the request is errored out the with the error:-

The need by date/promised date in the source instance is not the same as the need by date/promised date in the destination instance.
In the source instance,
The need by date is 19-MAY-11, and the promised date is 19-MAY-11

How can I filter on a relative date, not an "absolute" or fixed date?

I get e-mails that are more than a day off (before or after) the current date. They are invariably spam. I want to filter them, but filter allows me to filter on a date, say "before 3/23/2014", but not "after Today". The only way I know to accomplish this, I would have to change my filter every single day.

Data not received in PSA Table - Data of request already deleted

Hi
I'm running a delta load on a BI 7.0 system and get this error Data not received in PSA Table.
And when I click on the PSA table it telling me that Data of request XXXXXX already deleted.
I have tried to do a consistency check in RSRV. See if there's any IDOCs in pb87.
And the short dump analysis just say:
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLRSSM" raised the exception
condition "NOT_EXIST".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior
program, processing was terminated.
I've also tried to repeat the load but with no luck.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,
Delete the bad requests in 3 targets and delete the data mart status in Source DSO.
Also delete the green request in the Source DSO and repeat it.
Once it loads successfully then load the data to other 3 targets.

Multiprovider not taking info from master data table?

Hi all,
i've a problem with a multiprovider and some navigational attributes of zmaterial.
There are several infocubes in the multiprovider and they all have zmaterial, the problem is that the data from one of these cubes is taking the values of some navigational attribute from the cube itself, not from the master data table of zmaterial even if i changed the assignment from the multiprovider.
Is there any option i must check/look to get this thing work?

It seems the identificaiton are still incorrect.
Just try to put the identification for those characteristics from the navigational attribute option in the multiprovider and not from the infoobject present in the cube.
So for ZMaterial_A it should be identified with ZMaterial_A in the multicube from the respective cubes.

Run data not being displayed in the data view tab following a run

Recently I had some engineerings troubleshooting an issue with our test setup and since then, they run data is not automatically displayed in the dataview tab. I am now having to drag it over from the project documentation tab. I am sure there is a quick fix. What is it? Also, how can I password protect to prevent this type of issue in the future?

So they changed something? You don't have a backup of the software, nor any kind of software control? Where I work, you can't even run modified code on a production unit, else you just created an expensive "engineering unit." Could be they deleted just one data wire and it may take you hours to find it.

Data not updating from psa into Data Targets

Hiii,
We have started data upload in info cubes from psa . The number of records was 4 in psa . But after waiting for at least 3 hours ,still the data is not updated in info cube . The data which we want to upload in info cube (of stock) is of past date which due to some reason failed to update in BI from ECC . To upload the same that is data of past date we have deleted the setup table in ECC and then after filling the data again in set up tables, created a new info package from which uploaded data in PSA . But while trying to upload data in info cubes,it is not getting updated and the request status is showing still green yellow in psa.
Please suggest how to resolve this issue.

Are you loading material movements from 2LIS_03_BF in to cube? If so, please look at the below link for inventory data loads.

Promised Date Calculation based on Need by Date and Transit Time

Hi,
I have created PO with NBD as D25 (Day 25) and approved it. This means that i need the goods to be at my premisis by D25.
Now the requirement is
Promised date in my PO should be calculated to D25 - Transit Time. So that supplier will be notified D25-Transit time.
Or Is there any workaround to overcome this.

Where you are capturing your lead time. You can do it in item master.
Once it is there, write a personalization to calculate the promised date and update the field.

DAte not available in infotype 0041(date specification)

In our place we are using 4 type of "date type"
Z1 Hired date.
Z2 Seperation Date
Z3 Leave quota start
Z4 Service entry date
for all employees date specification maintain by dynamic action.
for some employees date specification is not maintain by the system.they are having only Z1 Hiring date only. others not available.
how can i rectify this problem?

You have to check your Dynamic action.
While querying dynamic ation how did you quaried, on which grouping you quried ?
The employee who dont get the details are members in that group are not?
if you give it in feature you must have all 4 dates to all the employees, otherwise you will be in trobuble
becuase SAP wont allow you fill the type only without date in infotype 0041

Movement types data not capturing from BW cube data load

Dear Experts,
We are supporting BPC 10.0 Netweaver consolidation activities.
As a part of the monthly consolidation, we are loading the ECC data available in the BW cubes into BPC.
0FIGL_C10 cube: From this standard cube we are capturing the movement types (i.e, transaction type details) for the balance sheet items. So opening minus closing should be equal to the movement types.
ZFIGl_CA10 : From this cube the YTD closing balances of the balance sheet items are captured.
Opening balances are copied from the last period of the previous year through balance carry forward.
For a balance sheet itens, we are getting the F99 closing balances correctly captures.
But, the movement types are not getting captured correctly and the difference between the (opening + movements) - closing is sitting the controls.
I have tried to check ECC data for these accounts in FS10N and 0FIGL_C10. The monthly data is all flowing properly. But when coming into BPC movement type alone has the problem.
The transformation and conversion has all worked fine time June 2014 but July 2014 it has incorrect figures.
No modifications are done for both the file.
Please find the below attached screen shot and kindly help me on the same.

Data Not coming Properly for 0HR_PA_OS_1 Data Source?

Hi Experts,
I am trying to load data to 0PAOS_C01 using 0HR_PA_OS_1 data source. For field 0POS_OCCVAC key figure i am not getting any data from Data Source.
I checked in RSA3 for 0HR_PA_OS_1 data source and in that it is not populating data for filed OCC_VAC_PERC field. I checked with HR functional team and they mentioned its a BI issue.
Kindly tell me how can i populate values for the particular field. FYI i am getting correct data for other fields.

The possible reasons
1.Your user id might not be having the proper authorization to pull the HR data.This you can confirm with your basis guy,if you are unable to find what are the authorization roles required for HR data, for the time being you can take SAP_ALL authorization in development box and try to pull.
OR
2.Try to pull from BW side,you may be able to see the data there because this uses the background user id used in RFC connection ( provided if your background user id having proper authorization ).

BI Statistical data not able to load delta data

Hi Experts,
I am working on BI7.0, we are trying to activate the BI Statistical cubes and load Delta data, so in the process , I did all the steps , activated and initialised the Data sources in BI
0TCT_DS03,0TCT_DS02 to the Cubes0TCT_C02 and 0TCT_C03, My aim is initialise today and load the delta loads from today onwards and I gave init selection on date, as start date today, and I switched on all BI stastical data but my delta records are not coming, I see in RSA7 in my BI system, I did not see my delta getting updated
Please advise how to get this delta records for these Data sources,

Hello Dheeraj ,
If delta is showing Zero records then there is no records changes or creation after the Init Run. So do some activities that will be captured in the Stat and then load the delta.

bro it is not working on string format coz of the missing quotes. e.g. 'smith' or smith. so the quoted string will be compared. in set_block_property u have to include extra quotes on the variable. e.g.
set_block_property('emp',default_where,'where ename='''||:emp.ename||'');
or with conditional statement
set_block_property('emp',default_where,'where ename='''||:emp.ename||''' and dname='''||dept.deptno||'');
there i included two extra qoutes before joining ename and in the an extra quote to complete to string. if u would like to debug at runtime to show if the qouted string condition is proper then assign the where clause to a variable and message it up.
like
myvariable:='where ename='''||:emp.ename||'';
message(myvariable);
message(myvariable);

after the string is quoted properly the execute query will work fine, also use the function upper or lower to compare strings.

Issues with dates not storing correctly on a data entry screen

We are using Application Express 3.0.1.00.08
I have a table which I have written a data entry screen for, the user enters most of the fields on theentry screen, howevere there are some fields that I would like to populate when a biutton is pressed e.g last_updated_date and creation_date.
I have a on submit after computations and validation process with the following code to set the last updated date:

I am setting the creation date at the same time as getting the primary key as follows:

It could be done as a database trigger but surely APEX should be capable of saving the correct date format of an item.
Since my original post I have managed to get the dates stored with the correct year in the hidden fileds by doing the following in my process:
:P1_LAST_UPDATED := to_date(sysdate,'DD-MON-RRRR HH24:MI');
however for some reason the date is being stored with the correct year now as 2009 , but the time element is not being stored any ideas?

Assembley Processing Sales Order date not pulling through as finished date

I have a small issue. We are using Assembley Processing in SAP where the Sales Order creates a Project / WBS / NEtwork Order automatically.
If I look on the network order there is a clear link between the order and Sales Order and it also has the requested delievery date in there which is correct however the network order finish date is completley wrong.
The scheduling settings are backwards and lets say the delievery date is 01.04.2011 and and it takes 1 month to finish the project therefore it should start on the 01.03.2011 yet the finish date in the Network Order is way in the future. E.g. it is starting on the 01.05.2011 and finishing on the 01.06.2011 which is wrong.
It seems like it isn't even considering or looking at the customer delievery date.

But why i asked you to schedule the network manually, is to find where the problem really lies. If you are able to schedule the network manually and derive the result as desired, then you can conclude that nothing wrong in network scheduling and its parameter and the problem would be the flow of date from SO to network.

VAT should post based on PO date or GR date not based on MIRO posting date

Based on posting date in Invoice(MIRO) & condition record validity period, VAT is calculated & posting on invoice posting.
Condition record for VAT condition type with tax code(T9):
01.01.2011 to 31.01.2011-------> 4%
01.02.2011 to 28.02.2011------->12%
01.03.2011 to 31.03.2011------->14.5%
PO created and GR done on February & invoive done on March and syatem calculated VAT amount perfactly based on validity period maintained in condition recod and invoice posted.
But requirement is system should post invoice VAT amount as mentioned in the PO ( based on PO date) or GR date to post during Invoice posting in MIRO
