Scheduled system maintenance on AU and EU data centers - March 8th 2015

To ensure the highest levels of performance and reliability, we've scheduled a database server upgrade on our AU and EU data centers. To minimize the customer impact, the upgrade is scheduled at the most convenient hours for the regions and will take up to 6 hours to complete. During the maintenance procedure,  Partner registration, trial site creation, publish from Muse, sFTP, APIs and some site admin sections will not be available for sites on all data centers (including US). Additionally, during the 6 hours maintenance procedure, all sites on the AU and EU data centers will experience 2 sessions of 1 minute downtime. Except for the 2 scheduled  downtime sessions, the website front-ends will not be impacted by the maintenance.
Maintenance schedule:
Start date and time: Sunday, March 8th, 6:00 AM UTC (check data center times)
Duration: We are targeting a 6 hours maintenance window
Customer impact:
Partner registration, Trial site creation, Adobe Muse publish, APIs, FTP and some admin sections will not be available through the entire maintenance window on all data centers
All websites and services on AU and EU data centers will experience 2 sessions of 1 minute downtime sometimes within the maintenance window

  • Scheduled Maintenance basic start and finish date

    Hi Expert,
I'm using WO type say PM04 for schedule maintenance. In its maintenance plan i'm using prioity "medium" that starts form 7 - 14 days.I also have already set the scheduling type in OPU7 - adjust scheduling into "Do not adjust basic dates, dep. reqmts to order start"
after run deadline monitoring WO PM04 that generated is resulted as per below:
    basic start date: 13.08.2010
    basic finish date: 13.08.2010
the basic dates does not reflect the priority "medium"
pls help how can i configure the basic dates setting that align to its priority.
    Thanks
    Rgds,

  • Source system R3 gets hanged and unsaved data is deleted

    hi experts,
I created a process chain with the data flow as, from PSA to cube. the data  flow was in 3.5 earlier which is migrated to 7.0. But now i used the same info package to load into PSA in the process chains and DTPs after that.
Now when this process chain was scheduled, R3 source system got hanged and also unsaved data got deleted.
Could any one provide inputs on the same?
    Thanks,
    Lavanya.

    Hi,
how the data will be deleted in source? I guess never it may happen in case of source hanging situations...
Once chk the data in RSA3 of source..
wht abt the previous status of ur chain?failed/successful/running?
Since it was a delta load ur last delta shuld be successful for the next run to be free to run...

  • Scheduling a report in background and passing data for processing

    Hi all,
Using code (in a report1) ...i  want to execute a report (report2) in background.....but at the same time i want to pass data (an internal table and a variable) to that report2.
is it possible to pass data like internal table to a executable report and at the same time pass the data to that report.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Schedule Full ETL, Incremental ETL and Refresh Dates

Hi - I'm trying to set up a schedule that runs a weekly execution plan on Saturday am. This weekly etl needs to be a full load always. I have a similar execution plan that I want to run all the other mornings as an incremental etl. I have the weekly plan set to run as 'Full Load Always'. Since it is set to run as 'Full Load Always', the refresh dates are not being set on the source tables. The second daily plan then initially runs as a full etl since the refresh dates are null. Is there a way I can accomplish scheduling the weekly execution plan to run as a full and then the daily execution plan to run as incremental without any manual intervention (such as manually resetting the source dates each week) ?
    Thank you.

You have to execute only 1 EP for both Incr and Full loads, followed by another custom EP which set the DAC refresh table(W_ETL_REFRESH_DT) column as NULL.
    ex:UPDATE W_ETL_REFRESH_DT SET LAST_REFRESH_DT =NULL
You need to schedule the custom ep to run on only Saturdays just before your actual EP start time so that you can have DAC refresh dates are null and follow load would be full load.
You need to create a custom etl mapping so that you can set this.. that might be a command from session or workflow.
If helps pls mark as correct :)

  • What are the DAC endpoints for the Brazil and Japan data centers?

Microsoft really should publish what the DAC endpoints for the new Brazil and Japan regions are. For instance, the one for North Central US is https://ch1prod-dacsvc.azure.com/DACWebService.svc and the one for Hong Kong is https://hkgprod-dacsvc.azure.com/DACWebService.svc
. But I can find no information on the endpoints for the Japanese and Brazilian endpoints.
Could you please publish a list of all the endpoints? It's essential for programmatic access to the SQL Azure REST API! Thanks!

  • Good Luck with System Maintenance

Good Luck to Mark W. and team on this midnight scheduled system maintenance.
Looking forward to see my "My Posts" windows straighten back.
    Regards,

Glad to hear that, but somehow my "MY POSTS" window still not in order.
But that is not a crucial issue for me, just to keep posted.

  • GR document and posting date issue for initial stock upload are overidden

    Hi all
Loading initial stock into the system using standard idoc message type MBGMCR and basic type MBGMCR02.
We are trying to post the intial stock upload with posting and document dates in past with this idoc. The Idoc is accepted with these dates but while posting the system is overiding these dates and posting the document with system date. Any clue as to what is happening?
    Regards,
    Amit

    Hi Jurgen
I am aware about the posting being possible till the last period.
But the system over-riding the posting and document dates in the IDoc even if I chose previos day's date in the current period. The dates in the IDoc are correct to be in the past. The IDoc is accepted by the system with the document and posting dates in the past.
But dates in the document after posting are system dates. Very unsual. Please let me know the reasons.
    Thanks for the reply.
    Cheers,
    Amit

  • Scheduling start date and end dates

    Hello Gurus,
I am trying to understand the schedule start date and schedule end date functionality in Plant Maintenance. I do understand the basic start and end dates. Currently I set up u201C3.Do not adjust basic dates, dep rqmts to order startu201D and set the scheduling type as u201CForwardsu201D . Please note we donu2019t do any capacity planning or leveling.
So my question is, why the scheduling start date is defaults to the basic  start date  for forwards and scheduling finish date defaults to basic finish date for backwards ? I tried adding couple of operations and save the work order. It did not change anything in schedule dates.
Do we really need to care about scheduling dates if we donu2019t use capacity planning ?
    Please advise
    Mahee

    Hi,
As per priority, final dates would be calculated as we will define the duration based on the priprity. Either current date or basic date only applied to Scheduling start date.
You can change the scheduling start date so that based on priority, final date would be calculated.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • Scheduled start and Finish date .

    Hi Everyone,
I am facing a problem in dates in creating a process order in Production .
In the tcode COR1, when input the BASIC START DATE manually, the BASIC FINISH DATE ,scheduled start date and finished dates should get calculated automatically  as per standard SAP.
The problem that I am facing is that , if I input the BASIC START DATE in future , the scheduled start date and finished dates are always coming as  the system date.
whatever date I input in the BASIC START DATE  the scheduled start date and finished dates are always coming as  the system date.
But this is not happening in quality and development server .
Please help me if you have any solution
    Thanks
    Bijay

    Dear ,
1.Scheduling parameter for new process order type and plant combination, to be defined at OPUZ . U can copy the settings at standard order type PI01.Here you should keep Backward Scheduling as Scheduling Type  and Keep the adjustment  Scheduling as Adjust to Basic Date , depenent requirement Date .
Now  Order Basic finish date = Order Basic start date + float before prod + Lead Time of Operations (operation time from routing )+ float after prod.
These floats are predefined in SMK  and assinged to material master .It comes through Planned Order after MRP run andcoped to Production Order .
.2.Check and Define Scheduling Margine key in MRP -Carry All over all palnt paremtres (OPPQ)
If you are MTS process , then Keep the Scheudling Type as Forward .Enter the Basic Start date and Scheduling Margine Days ( Opening periods , FBP, FAP) and then hit the Scheduling Indicator .It will calcuate all the dates based on the SMK and operation setup and propose you Basic Finish Date .
So adjust the Flaots in SMK tab in process order , enter Basic Finish Date , Choose Bacward Scheduling to arraive Basic Start  or Go in reverse direction by choosing Forward scheduling .
    Hope its clear
    Regards
    JH

  • Basic Start/Finish Date and Requirment Date in Maintenance Order

    Sir,
We want to know the link between Order Start/finish date and requirement date in Maintenance Order.
As we are facing problem during change in dates.
When we change either start date or finish date in the order, the system automatically change the requirment date as of ondate of all the materials which has been earlier issued and also consider the today date.
    Like in Maintenance Order
    Basic Start Date - 01.04.2009
    Basic End Date  - 31.05.2009
We have issued materials on the order at different date by putting offset value for the requirement date.
Now if we increase the Basic End Date of order to n30.062.009 or whatelse, the system automatically changes the requirement dates of all the materials issue based on current date. Suppose we changed the Basic End date on 10.11.2009, the system changes all the requirement dates by calulating offset value from 10.11.2009. However these materials has been issued earlier.
I want to know if there is any remedy to stop to change the requirement dates automatically.
    With Regards
    Mudit Gupta

    HI
In general the requirement date will get changed only when the IMG settings in OPU7 permits the requirments dates should be adjusted towards the order basic start and end dates
kinldy check and adjust as per the requirement
    regards
    thyagarajan

  • Basic start and finish dates vs scheduled start and finish dates in work order

    Hi Friends,
I have observed  that whenever releasing the work order, irresepective of number of operations in the work order, system generating scheduling start and finish dates are same, however after releasing the Work order and by adding another operation in the work order, immediately scheduling end date equaling to Basic finish date (i.e.: Basic start and finish dates are equal to Schedule start and finish dates).
Can any body please explain why this is heppening
    Please find the screen shots.
After adding one more operation in the operation list and save the Work order, then Basic start and finish dates are equal to schedule start and finish dates.
    Regards,
    Srinika

    Srinika
There are many things that affect the order scheduling:
    IMG setting - scheduling parameters
    Work centre settings
Operation values e.g. work, duration, operation control key settings
    Calendars
    Etc
So one possible interpretation of the above data is that the initial order operations have no work assigned, or the operation control keys don't require scheduling, or the work centres arn't set up correctly.
Then you add a new operation which does appear to work.
Please supply a screen-shot of the operation tab.
