Scheduling Agreement –delivery date in month format -  MD04

Dear experts,
Scheduling Agreement, forecast delivery schedule.
When I enter a delivery date in month format, the system, during processing, automatically checks the factory calendar and proposes the first valid working day as the delivery date. ( Yes. I know it is a SAP standard )
My requirement is automatically checks by the system  the last  working day as the delivery date.
Could you tell me what are the settings i need to check to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance
artur

As pointed out already above you need to use a periodic lot sizing procedure.
Use Lot sizing procedure P, Lot size indicator K and Scheduling =2
As per your requirement, you need to create a calendar using MD25 with Months (Workdays) as a calculation rule with 1 as the period in the box provided.
After a MRP run the delivery date would point to the last day of the month.
But the requirement is a bit surprising as say for a requirement on the 1st of the month you will have the delivery showing up on the last day of the same month. Under what circumstances do you have this requirement as a valid one in your business case?

  • Calculate all days in month from schedule line delivery date for 12 mths

    Hi experts,
I am trying to solve a problem and would appreciate any help! Im on BI7.
The user will input a date for the schedule line delivery date via a variable.
From this date I need to go forward 12 months exactly and display a key figure (outstanding value) by months but the first and last months must only use the days in that month i.e not the whole month if not selected by the user.
I.e if the user types in 13.05.2008
The display need to show (columns)
May 08 (13th to end of May 2008)
    June 08   (All)
    July 08    (All)
    August 08    (All)
    Sept 08    (All)
    Oct 08     (All)
    Nov 08     (All)
    Dec 08    (All)
    Jan 09     (All)
    Feb 09    (All)
    Mar 09    (All)
    April 09   (All)
    May 09  (1st to 12)
So I neen to restrict the key figure (Outstanding Value) by Schedule Line Delivery Date and display as above on a 12 month forecast basis from the day (sch line delivery daye) entered as a variable by the user.
I also need the first month to only show the dates in the month remaining including the date entered as a variable. The last month must go up to the day before exactly a year in front.
I have created the 12 months as a structure and can include the key figure and the schedule line delivery date. The schedule line delivery date for each period needs to be restricted. How can I do this to achieve the above?
Thanks in advance. Will assign good points for a speedy solution.
    Best
    Steve.

    Hi,
Check "OVLY" and "OVLZ" and If the sceduling is active for he shipping point /sales document type.  Check "OVXD" and see If the Loading time/ Pick/pack time is determined from it. If they are getting determined from shipping point check the shipping point calender in "SCAL" .If it has saturday and sunday as holidays ,then you may have to change them. And check If the customer has goods recieving hours assigned to him (In customer master unloading point). If he has only 5 working days and If he accepts only goods at 8 am in the morining then system would propose like this.Kindly please let me know If you need any more Information on this.

    Hi Shravan,
Thanks for answering, I checked those two tables EKEH, EKEK are release tables. We have some SAs without release documentation. I have to find the delivery schedules using the GR document to which delivery schedules the qty it is delivering.
It is not posting the qty from top of schedules, for some SAs it posted randomly.
Any other ideas or any function modules,
In BW it is possible using extractor but we need in R/3
    Thanks,

  • Schedule Line Delivery Date Calculation with Transportation Scheduling

    Hi All,
We are currently running into a problem where our Sales Order Schedule Line delivery dates are being pushed out too far into the future - because of the Calendar being used to determine the transit time.
We have 'Delivery Scheduling' and 'Transportation Scheduling' activated for our Sales Document type
We have Routes that are configured with a 'Transit Time' and a 'Factory Calendar'
    Order Scenario:
'Factory Calendar' assigned to our 'Route' is setup with only one 'Workday' in a given week e.g. Wednesday
Our 'Route' has a Transit Time of 2 days
We create a Sales Order on Monday for a Material that is available in our Plant
The 'Goods Issue' date is being determined correctly for the next Workday - being Wednesday
The 'Delivery Date' is extending out over 15 days (2 Wednesdays into the future) - since it is working on 'Calendar Days' and not 'Actual Days'
Does anyone know of a way (config or other) to only influence the 'Goods Issue' date with the 'Factory Calendar' assigned to the Route, and have the 'Delivery Date' calculated using the Transit Time on the Route and 'Actual Days' rather than Calendar days?
    All help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ravelle<i></i>

    Hi Pathik,
Thanks for your reply.  I have already maintained the Calendars I'm using for this business process in <SCAL> - same as <OY05>.
The problem I'm having though is that by assigning a Calendar directly to my route (which I doing to influence the goods issue date - using a 1 Working Day Calendar) it is also taking precedence in determining the Transit time - which in this case I don't want, as I want my Transit time to be determined using a 5 Working Day Calendar.
I don't think this problem has a config option as a work around...I think the only possibility in this case is a development to achieve the results we need.
    Thanks,
    Ravelle

  • There are no scheduled and delivery dates in /sapapo/rrp4

    Hi Gurus,
When executing the transaction /sapapo/rrp4, category PO memo are being displayed. But I noticed that there are PO memos that dont have scheduled and delivery dates while the others have. Is this behavior normal? But when compared to transaction /SAPAPO/RRP3, the PO memos that dont have dates in /SAPAPO/RRP4 have dates in transaction /SAPAPO/RRP3. Could you please help me understand why there are PO memos that dont have sheduled and delivery dates when using /SAPAPO/RRP4?
    Thanks,
    Ann

The rrp4 view shows only receipt elements, such as Planned orders, WIPs etc.In rrp3 view (Product view), we can see both requirement and receipt elements an pegging structure.

  • Scheduling agreement delivery schedule for a next month.

    Hi!
What are the setting I have to maintain so that delivery schedules are transmitted for particular month not beyond that ?
    Thanks and regards,
    Suranjana

    Hi,
You can control this by specifing the validity period to what we need OR
Give the Sechdule lines for the total quantity with in the required period and dont allow over delivery quantity.

  • Sales scheduling agreements and subsequent sales orders in MD04

We would like to use sales scheduling agreements. For planification purposes, we need that forecast delivery schedule quantities in the agreement, appear in MD04 transaction, so corresponding schedule line type has flag "Transfer of requirements" active. In customizing for the agreement type, subsequent documents are sales orders, not deliveries, as we need always to have a sales order. We need that when creating subsequent sales order by reference to the scheduling agreement, quantity required related to the agreement is reduced. Or, at least, when this subsequent sales order is delivered.
Example: In the agreement we can have 1000 KG and 2000 KG as forecast, for different dates. If a sales order of  800 KG is created, then we will get a new line of 800 KG in MD04. Required quantity related to the agreement, should be changed from 1000 to 200.
Another option would be that subsequent sales order and delivery don't appear in MD04 (so requested quantity is not increased) and then, when the goods issue is posted, the available quantity is reduced and also the quantity required related to the agreement. I know how to make that sales order item is not relevant for MD04 using  flag "Transfer of requirements" for the sales order schedule item type, but I don't know how to make that delivery doesn't appear.

    Hi
In the given logic include another comment
If zfield value = 01, then allow creation of subsequent document.
If zfield value # 01, then subsequent document creation should not be allowed.
If AUART = Z sales document types then allow creation of subsequent document
If VKORG  (Sales organisation) =1000 then allow creation of subsequent document
If VTWEG  (Distribution channel) = 01then allow creation of subsequent document
If SPART (Division) = 01then allow creation of subsequent document
It wont affect if you change the copy control requirement routine, but instead of changing the copy control requirement routine
use the user exit at sales order level only.

  • Scheduling Agreements / Delivery Schedule / Firm zone, Trade zone

    Dear all.
I am in the process of setting up scheduling agreements (LPA type) with firm zone and trade zone in SAP 4.5b
    The following issues  I have:
1.) with the release via ME84, it gives me an error 'no processing message ME 857, no message record found'.
As far as I know the customizing is correct. Can some one give a tip about what I maybe have forgotten?
2.) I am also using the firm and trade zone, but in the automatic generated delivery schedules line it is not turning up?
If there is any one who can help me with this subject, any information is welcome.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Wilfred

You have to create a condition record for your message type LPH1 in order to be able to generate the message (mn10).
At funcional level, try to update your schedule line manually through TCode me37 and then go to the ME84.
At customizing level, here are some things that were missing when it occurred to me :
Check in SPRO - Purchasing - Messages - Output Control - Message Types -
Define message type for scheduling agreement schedule lin - Fine-Tuned Control: Forecast Delivery Schedule/Expediter that you have operation 9 for LPH1 and the checkbox activated.
Check in SPRO - Purchasing - Messages - Output Control - Message Determination Schemas - DefineMessage Schema for Scheduling Agreement Release - Define Message Determ. Schema: Forecast Delivery Schedule/Ex in the control data : You must havefor LPH1 the requirement 109.
    Hope it helps

  • Tracking the changes in Scheduling agreement delivery schedule

With Scheduling agreements, when goods receipt is done at receiving, system will validate against the Scheduled qty and delivery dates. If there is excess qty received, they need to either change the qty or the date to receive the same.
Now current process at one customer is the vendor evaluation is done based on his ability to send exact required qty on precise date. So if the required qty is shipped / received on the scheduled date, vendor gets 1 point, if not vendor gets zero points. So both qty & date have to be correct for vendor to get 1 point, if either is wrong he gets a zero point.
Now in our SA scenario, we are saying that in case goods are received in excess or if goods are received a day earlier, in order to perform the goods receipt, change the qty/date in SA. If this qty/date is changed to receive the goods, how can we later go into system and see whether supplier shipped as per expected qty & date?
My understanding is we can keep track of date change, by using Statistical date in delivery schedule, but how can we keep track of qty change ?
    Thanks
    Dinesh

    Hi dinesh
I dont know exactly this helps you or not but pl try this to track the changes of your SA.
    1.Go in ME2m.
    2.Enter material,plant,po.
3.In scope of list enter "RAHM"
    4.Then press "Choose" tab
    5.Only select SA.
    6.Execute.
    7.Select SA and press"changes":
I think this will show you all changes made for your SA.

  • Difference between Scheduling agreement delivery schedule and PO delivery s

    Dear All,
Please tell the difference between the Scheduling agreement delivey schedule and PO delivery schdule.
In PO itself, we can give the delivery schedule.
Then what is the purpose of making scheduling agreement and maintain schedule in ME38?
    Regards

    Hi,
Difference between Scheduling agreement and PO is while PO is a legal document whatever the delivery schedules you mention in PO, you are liable to pay for the entire qty in case of cancellation
In case of scheduling agreement, we have Firm Zone and Tradeoff Zone to provide some cushion against paying for the entire qty you have ordered
    Firm zone: (go-ahead for production)
If the date of a schedule line lies within the firm zone, the vendor has the go-ahead to produce the relevant quantity with the assurance that the orderer will bear any and all material and production costs associated with the scheduled quantity in the event of subsequent cancellation by the latter.
Trade-off zone: (go-ahead for procurement of input materials)
If the date of a schedule line lies within the trade-off zone, the vendor has the go-ahead to purchase any input materials necessary to produce the scheduled quantity. The orderer will recompense him in full for such outlay (but not for any other production costs) in the event that he should subsequently cancel the scheduled quantity.
Schedule lines that lie beyond the firm and trade-off zones fall within the planning zone (forecast zone) and are for rough guidance only, being without any commitment on the part of the orderer.
In case of PO if you want to cancel the order, you are liable to pay for the entire quantity, while in case of Scheduling agreement if you want to cancel the schedule and if the days fall in Firm zone or trade off zone or planning zone you have to pay only for raw materials or assembled products according to the above description

  • Scheduling Agreement Delivery Schedule Maintenance

I have recently been given the task to maintain the delivery schedules
for schedule agreements in the EKET table using data from external
sources. I have been unsuccessful at finding standard interface
techniques (Call Transaction, BAPI, …) to do this. A similar program
already exists at my client site that uses the SAP function
ME_UPDATE_SCHEDULES_DISPO to do this, but I am uncomfortable issuing a call to this function out of context to accomplish these updates.
Can anyone confirm for me that use of this function would essentially be
the same as calling a BAPI (if one existed) and that there should be
little or no risk to our application as a result of using this approach?
Please note that my question concerns scheduling agreements and not
purchase orders.  I have found references to BAPIs for scheduling agreement maintenance in release 6.0, but my client is running release 4.7.

    hi,
    plz go thru following threads
How to pass table as input parameter of a BAPI ?
Pass Parameters from InputField to BAPI
Pls let me know how to pass the parameters for the bapi  BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE
