Scheduling agreement: Reference document type is diferent

All SAP Gurus,
We have created a scheduling agreemnet with document type SA01.
Now, we want to create a new scheduling agreement with reference to it (SA01), but its document type is different (SA02).
So, system is giving an eror message as 'Reference doc. type SA01 differs from doc. type SA02.
Message no. 06033.
Are there any configurational settings by which we can create a scheduling agreement with reference to some other document type?
Regards,

Hi Sandeep,
Thanks for the reply.
But, I'm unable to follow. Can you explain in detail.
Right now what we are following is:
Step 1. Going to T code ME31L
Step 2. Entering the document type with which we want to create the scheduling agreement (in the field 'Agreemet type')
Step 3. Then clicking on Copying document (Ctrl+F2), and entering reference document number (here the reference document type is different)
Now, system gives an error as 'Reference doc. type SA01 differs from doc. type SA02.

  • Scheduling Agreement reference.

    Hi,
We used to copy the previous FY Scheduling agreements and create new SAs every year.
Due to a requirement, we were trying to find out the original SA ref in the new, copied SA. But, unable to get the same. (It is unlike a PO which has the ref. of PO from where it is copied).
Please revert if the ref. can be tracked from the ME33L screen. Even otherwise, please let me know from where I can get this info. (like tables).
    Regards,
    Siva

    Hi
In ME31L/ME32L/ME33L at header level you can maintain the reference data like purchase order.
But you should have maintained when you copy SA. I dont think the system will copy and store the reference by itself.
    Hope it helps

  • Scheduling agreement ( Pur. doc. Type LPA) does not get updated in MEI1

We have a requirement that, purchasing documents ( POs and Scheduling Agreements) needs to be updated when there is change in price in purchasing info record. We have made configurations to activate the change pointers on pricing conditions and they are working fine. To update the price in purchasing documents following process is used.
    1.     Transaction MEI4 u2013 Create work list
    2.     Transaction MEI3 u2013 Recompilation of document index.
    3.     Transaction MEI1 u2013 Changes to purchasing documents due to changes in conditions.
After running MEI1, price is updated only in purchasing documents and the update does not take place in scheduling agreement. Does anyone one know what things may be missing? Or is this a SAP transaction issue?

    Hi
If scheduling agreement has time dependent conditions it will not update. You need to remove time dependent tick from document type definition config.(spro>MM>purchasing>scheduling agreement>define document type)
remove tick mark it will update.

  • Automatic Document Adjustment for Scheduling Agreements

    Hi all,
we are usiing automatic document adjustment for purchase orders and it is working fine. If price in the info record is changed the purchase order is updated accordingly as long as no follow on documents are existing.
I am wondering if scheduling agreements can also be updated as long as no follow on documents are existing. I tried to get them updated but did not succeed.
Maybe somebody has wver tried it and knows if in general it is possible.
    Thank you for helping.
    Regards
    Carolin

    yes it is possible,
to get the goal you have to set the Scheduling agreement without time-dependent conditions.
how?  SAP IMG >Scheduling Agreement>Define Document Types and unflag the time-independent conditions.

  • Scheduling Agreement with LPA

    Hi,
I am trying to generate schedule lines and release them to delivery schedules with doc type LPA.
I have done the settings in MRP2 view and done the settings in source list, info record and scheduling agreement.
I have created and Plnd Independent requirements in MD61 and executed the planning run in MD02 but unable to create schedule lines.
Could you please advise me if i am missing any settings or config's.
I wan to know how the zones work with LPA and how the whole cycle and the functions available with LPA.
    Responses will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Mittu G

    hi
These are the Prerequisites befor you go on to SA with release
Scheduling agreement releases (FRC and JIT schedules) can only be generated for scheduling agreements with release documentation (in the standard system, document type LPA).
(In the standard system, the Release docu. indicator is selected for document type LPA in Customizing for Purchasing under
Scheduling Agreement -> Define Document Types.)·
If you wish to work with JIT delivery schedules, the JIT schedule indicator must be set in the material master record (Purchasing or MRP 2 view) and the Additional data of the scheduling agreement item.
You create SA releases by means of the Purchasing menu via
    Scheduling agreement -> Create release
Choose release type ->FRC and JIT delivery schedulesSelect scheduling agreements - Specification of plant
Scope of selection- Changed or next date
Creation- According to strategy in profile, Tolerance check active
On the days on which the next FRC date (1st. Monday in the month) or the next JIT date (Monday each week) is reached, scheduling agreements with the above profile settings are selected and SA releases (delivery schedules to be issued to the vendor) created (because the next creation date has been reached).
    Reward points if useful
    Thanks & Regards

  • BAPI_SCHEDULE_MAINTAIN throws error for time- independent scheduling agreement

    Hi All,
I get the below error while modifying a stock transport Scheduling agreement in UI5 using BAPI “BAPI_SCHEDULE_MAINTAIN”
“Scheduling agreements with time-independent conditions are not supported”
    Found a note 1046794-
"BAPI_SAG_CHANGE (and BAPI_SAG_CREATE) can only treat scheduling agreements with time-dependent conditions. Document conditions are not supported. Therefore, this kind of scheduling agreements cannot be processed. This is a missing functionality”
To meet some finance requirements, we need to use time-independent conditions in the scheduling sgreement, in order for a custom condition type to be picked up.
I'd appreciate any advice I can get about how to fix this functionality in the BAPI or alternatively how to link the pricing condition type to the Scheduling agreement document type?
    Thanks so much.

Link between Time dependent / independent condition and Scheduling agreement document type is in configuration  under SPRO>MM>PURCHASING>SCHEDULING AGREEMENT>DEFINE DOCUMENT TYPES>SCROLL TO THE RIGHT here you find a check box Time-D.C.
    Thanks

  • PR not adopted in Scheduling Agreement

I have created a Scheduling Agreement but when i add the Item from Create with Ref. to Purchase Requisition of that Material its not picking up the PR.
actually that PR no. is made in PR type ZIMP (our customized PR type)
but when I made the PR in PR Type PR for MRP then it picks ups the PR.
is there any settings to be done in IMG settings that certain PR type is linked with Scheduling agreement
if so where and how i can achieve this.
    abhishek suppal

    Hi,
Yes you have link with PR in SPRO.
This is the IMG Path <b>Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Scheduling Agreement --> Define Document Types</b>.
Here you have <b>Link purchase requisition - document type</b>.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Price determination date control in Scheduling agreement (ME33)

<<Do not ask for or offer points>>
    Dear SAP chams,
I have one doubt at the time of scheduling agreement creation. I am creating scheduling agreement trough t'code ME33. In the same, Select line item, go to item data, go to Additional data. Here the field Pr. Date Cat (Price Determination (Pricing) Date Control) contains the value "5" (i.e. GR date). I want to change this value. How can i change this determination ??...
Helpful answers will surely be awarded by points.
    Thanks and regard,

    Hi
Price determination category 5 cannot be change in scheduling agreement if your document type is time dependent. (See config spro>mm>purchasing>scheduling agreement>define document type. In that you will see a tick for time dependent condition)
If the config tick is removed then you can change price determination to any other option.

  • Scheduling agreement blocking

    Hi All,
I have created a scheduling agreement with document type "LP: for on material. When created the SA is having Release ID as "B Blocked". The schduling agreement item is maintained in source list with MRP indicator "2 - relevent for MRP". Planning run gives the schedule lines for this schduling agreement line item.
Now question is what is the role of release indicator as blocked? I mean when it blocked it should not give schedule lines.
Can anybody explain me on this feature?
    Regards,
    MHP

    Hi Vivek,
I want to know the effect of release indicator blocked on MRP generated schedule lines. I mean if the Release ID is blocked whether or not the MRP will generate the schedule lines?

    Hi MHP,
When the scheduling agreement is blocked because it is still not released, the only meaning is that the GR cannot be done.
But, the planning scheduling can take in count this.
Unless you can block the items (with the "block" button), then, the planning scheduling will not take in count this scheduling agreement.
    I hope this help.

  • Cross Sales in Scheduling Agreements

    Hi
Can we have Cross Selling in Schedulilng Agreement?
Its working perfectly for Sales Orders, but not working for Scheduling Agreements.
Please guide, how to configure Cross Selling for Scheduling Agreements.
    Regards

Did you assign a document procedure for cross selling to the scheduling agreement sales document type?
SPRO -> IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Cross Selling -> Maintain Customer/Document Procedures For Cross Selling
