Scheduling in Process order

Dear All
While creating process order system is not picking scheduling time & date as per maintained in recipe after clicking scheduling tab, because of this capacity is not being load on WC & showing zero reqmnt.
When i checked scheduling at recipe level there also it is happening.
In OPUZ i had ticked both scheduling & capacity reqmnt.
In resource i had maintained all parameter in capacity & capacity is showing as 24 Hr. Scheduling & Capacity fromula had aslo maintain. Finite scheduling is ticked. The control key assigned to the phase, is also defined with "Scheduling and Capacity requirments".
Wht could be other reason for nt calculating time & date as per recipe.
Thanks & regards
Abhijit Gautam

  • Scheduling of Process Orders

    Hi,
I have maintained all the formulas in resources and also maintained scheduling parameters in order types but still system is not scheduling the process orders. Can any one guide me where exactly the problem is?
    Thanks and regards,
    Pavan

    Hi,
I have maintained all these settings.
If I check the process order, it is not showing any time. Do you think any problems in formulas maintained?
I have maintained here two formulas for setup time(ZSET) and production time(ZPROD).
    ZSET = SAP_01 * SAP_11
    ZPROD = SAPC00
I have maintained allowed for scheduling indicator also in all formulae. But still no scheduling happening.

  • Process Order operation scheduling duration calculation

    Hi
We have following formula has been maintained for processing time calculation in resource.
    Machine * ( Operation quantity / Base quantity / Operation splits ) + Setup + Change-over
As per above formula for following procee order qty and time, SAP caulates time.
    Opeartion qty - 100,
    Base qty - 100,
    Op split - 1
    Machine - 0.5 hrs (30 Mins)
Processing time calculated as 30 mins (.5hrs)
When I schedule the process order with same resource for same qty and machine time, processing time is calculated as 33 mins. We dont have maintained any floats in scheduling margin key in material master. We dont have any wait times also.
Can you please let us know why process order operation is having 3 mins tolerance? Any idea where such settings has been maintained?
    Any pointers will be helpful.

    Hi Mangalraj,
    Thanks for your reply.
We have not maintained ay reduction levels in OPUZ for plant and order type combination.
In resource, we have 2 hrs break time and total operating time is 18.50 hrs.
I got following SAP help link for calculation of duration for processing time.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/b1/c04387439a11d189410000e829fbbd/content.htm
Is processing time is calculated based on following formula.
Processing time u2013 Calculated Processing time * (1+ (Length of break / Operating time)
Can you please correct my understanding here?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Process order - Forward scheduling

    Hi,
I need a clarification on scheduling in process orders for below mentioned scenario:
SO is created for a future date
    MRP run
Planned order is created (scheduling for planned order not done)
Planned order converted to Process Order
My query is how the dates of process order will differ in case of forward schduling.
whether start date of process order will be as per basic start date of planned order or the start date of process order will be current date?
    regards,
    Mohit

    Dear Mohit
Converting a Planned Order into a Production Order
If material requirements planning has already created a planned order for producing the material, the basic dates are copied from the planned order and the order start and finish dates are determined in a new scheduling run. If necessary, reduction measures are carried out.
    Creating a Production Order Manually
If no planned order exists and you create the production order manually, the scheduling type determines which basic dates you have to enter.
If you enter both basic dates, the system tries to adhere to these dates when carrying out forwards or backwards scheduling. If necessary, the system also carries out reduction measures.

    Sachin

  • Process Order on holiday

    Hi all
Is it possible for me to schedule a process order on a date that is considered a holiday in the factory calendar?  If so, how can I do this?
    Thanks

    Hi Obie,
If you have maintained it as a holiday and even though you want to schedule on the particular day, I can suggest you create a special rule in the factory calendar and make the holiday as a workday. This will help u schedule the order.
Please give points if the answer is uitable and of help to you.

    Rashid,
So is the dates getting populated correctly after scheduing function? If so then probably you current system design it to perform scheduling manually. You can use the "Production Scheduling profile" to perform this automatically. You need to assign a production scheduling profile defined for automatic Scheduling at the creation stage to you materil master "Work Scheduling" view

  • Process Order Basic Finish Date and Scheduled Finish Date

    Folks,
I have a requirement from the business to be able to update the Process Order Basic Finish Date and Scheduled Finish Date independently from each other.
In other words, update the Basic Finish Date and the Scheduled Finish Date cannot change or update the Scheduled Finish Date and the Basic Finish Date cannot change.
I believe the reason for this is to be able to use the Basic Date to maintain the ATP accurately and keep the Scheduled Date to mark when the order was originally due from the shop floor to be able to measure if orders are being completed on time or late.
I have worked in tnx OPUZ and had some success with other issues with these dates but I can't seem to make them work independently from each other.
Or does anyone have any ideas how to measure proces order performance to the production schedule?
    Thank you for your help,
    Greg

Rajesha, thank you for your reply but it doesn't solve my problem.
    Let me restate my scenario:
I start a process order and both the basic and scheduled finish dates are the same, June 1.
At some point, shop floor tells me they will be late and cannot deliver until June 15.
I need to update a date in the system so the ATP and the MRP planning runs have correct information for promising customers, I will update the Basic Finish date with June 15.
I also need to keep the original June 1 date in order to measure the shop floor performance to the production schedule to measure how early or late the  order was delivered. How can I keep the original finish date or how can I measure if a process order is early or late??
    Thank you for your help,
    Greg

  • Manual scheduling phases in Process order

    Hello dears,
a question came out to my business during Process order (PP-PI module) testing.
When a order is created, the system uses master recipe data to schedule each phase, and to assign them a start and finish time. These values are displaied in the process order for each phase.
The question is: is it possible to change them manually, in case I need to reschedule only a specific phase and not the whole order? Because currently I see that dates fields are not editable in COR2.
    Thanks a lot.
    Kind regards,
    Giovanni

    Dear ,
You ca not  able to manually chanes  the date and time unless they are Dispatched  after capacity evalution  or leveling at the Resource level.
Generally , if your resource is having finite scheduling active and you have CRP planning is in place , then you need to goto CM07/CM05 to check the Overload/Availablit of the resouce in a certain date n time so that you can re-scheule them manually from CM21/CM22/CM23 .
To meet this requirement , you have to adop Capacity Requirement Planning set up .
Check our earlier posting  on the similar issue : Capacity Planning not considering plnd order
Capacity requirements generation at phase level only

  • Problem  with Process Order Scheduling..

    Dear Experts,
i'm stucking with the scheduling of a process oreder.
I've maintained all scheduling parameters into OPUZ except "selection ID" for detailed scheduling as it is grey & not allowing to fill any entry into it.
I've also maintained production scheduler and other relevant settings into master recipe & resource regarding scheduling .
Still i'm getting the error"Scheduling parameters for process orders have not been entered" message no CT609.
Kindly help me out , where i'm wrong
    Thanx in advance...

    Dear Dennis,
Ensure the scheduling parameters in OPUZ for the order type, plant combination and for all (* )scheduler you have maintainied
the scheduling type, the check box for scheduling and generate capacity requirements under detailed scheduling is set.
    Check and revert back.

  • Scheduled finish date for process orders not updating in BW

We are having problems with the scheduled finish date (GLTRS) for process orders. When the process order is already released, changes done in R/3 on the scheduled finish date will not result to a delta hence data in BW is not updated. Table AFKO, where data is coming from, is always updated with the changes though. 2LIS_04_P_MATNR is used in extracting the data.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? We are looking for possible ways on how to have a delta whenever there are changes on the process order even after it is already released.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Hi Donna,
If I've understood your problem correctly, you can increase the load frequency as Sriee has pointed out.
If you want latest data frequently and if you are on BI 7.0 then you can look at Real Time Data Acquisition(RDA)

    Tom.
