Scheduling Manager Updates from Migration Template

Hello -
I was wondering if anyone figured a way to schedule approver updates in SAP Cloud.
We are currently using the migration template to make the approver updates and I was hoping to find a way to schedule system updates. Do you know if scheduling updates is an option? I am trying to simply our daily process…
Thank you,
Zhenya

Hi,
yes you are right....I know this can be the right approach.
but we have some clients with a lot of processes with org unit responsible or cost center responsible different from travel approver.
one of this client has already in place an engine able to calculate every night the travel approver for each employee (obiouvlsy according to some complex rules [mix of org struc and hr objects]) and store it, as employee attribute, in a dedicated infotype.
they asked us to move this info to CfTE to use it as line or manujally assigned manager for travel purposes
this is why can be useful to put this info during hcm master data upload for each employee
probably there are some workaround but we are analyzing the standard to avoid a new complex calculation on CfTE

  • UCS Manager Update from 2.1(1a) / 2.1(1b) to full 2.1(3b) cause Policy Reference Error on iSCSI

    Hello,
I actualy did a UCS firmware upgrade from a mixed 2.1(1a) and 2.1(1b) to a full 2.1(3a) version.
Chassis are 2208XP, Fabrics are 6248UP and blades are all B200-M3.
I use firmware policy to update the firmware on the blades.
Here are the current version of the different componments:
    - CIMC, Adapterers and BIOS Server: 2.1(3b)
    - UCS Software: 2.1(3b)
    - IO Modules:  2.1(1b)
    - Fabric Kernel / System : 2.1(1b)
After UCS Software update when I connect on UCS Manager I got several warning referencing the error "Policy reference autProfileName does not resolve to named policy" on different parts.
I have follow some post to resolve some of them:
    - iSCSI nic is created without Authentication profile issues:
    https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCui43905
    - Default SOL policy issue:
    https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCtl88314
This resolve a lot of error but I'm still having errors like this on all my iscsi NIC:
    Causing this:
Right now the update of the IOMs and FIs are on standby until I resolve this.
Can I have some help please.

It looks like you are hitting:
    https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCui43905
    Symptom:
Warning with the text "Policy reference  authProfileName  does not resolve to named policy" is seen when creating  an iSCSI nic on a service profile.
    Conditions:
Issue happens only when iSCSI nic is created without an Authentication profile
    Workaround:
    Use Authentication profile
    Create a Default Authentication Profile
Existing  warnings from the previous version would still exist even after the  upgrade and that can be isolated only using the above work around. If  new service profiles are created on the 2.2.1b version will not  experience this issue.
Here is how to create an authentication profile:

  • Files not updating from default.dwt

NONE of my pages are updating from the template that I
created them from. To create them I did the following:
    File>New>Templates>Site Name>Template
    Name>Create...
Then I'd save the file to whatever I was creating..... such
    as, index.htm
I have done this for 6 new pages....
Then I change the links on the template and have it and when
I'm asked if I want to update ALL of the pages that were created
based on that template I answer yes... (obviously)..
But.... the pages do NOT update. it even says so in the
"Update Pages Dialog Box". it says that NO Pages were updated?
Why is that and what possible cause could there be.
I have a Dreamweaver manual and have defined the site about a
dozen times (after removing it first) and I have dome so RIGHT TO
THE BOOK..... but the dang template will NOT update the sites pages
    created from it........grrrr..........
Any suggestions? Thanks for any replies.....

Here are seven common mistakes that will result in changes
    not propagating
    from Template to child -
    1. Rename the Templates folder
    2. Move the Templates folder to some other folder level in
    the site other
    than root level
    3. Move a template out of the Templates folder.
    4. Make changes to an editable region of the template (which
    will not
    propagate)
    5. Assume that template changes can be uploaded to the server
    without also
    uploading the changed local files
    6. Corrupt the site cache so that the link between template
    and child page
    is broken
7, Improperly create your child pages by simply opening the
    template,
adding page specific content, and resaving the template with
    an *.html
extension rather that its *.dwt extension. (you can tell if
    this is the case
by looking at the code on a child page - if you see anything
    like <!--
TemplateBeginEditable... then this is what you have done)
The 6th problem can be repaired by using SITE | Advanced >
    Recreate Site
Cache, and the six others can be fixed by just not doing
    them. Have you
    done any of those?

I always run a Time Machine backup before updating anything and recommend you run a backup as well. Paid apps should migrate over without any problem. If you have problems with VPP codes not transfering over properly, you can talk to your Apple SE or contact VPP for Education support and they can help you. While I haven't experienced any problems with updating, its never a guarantee that others will have the same experience.
    Good luck!

  • Delivery schedule update from PO to SO in intercompany

    Hello All,
We are planning to have a Purchasing Agreement to automatically create Sales Scheduling agreement by idoc ORDERS in a Intercompany scenario.
The subsequent delivery schedules are to be updated from the Purchasing agreement in the Sales agreement with DELINS.
We are in ECC Eph4 and IS Auto is not available. Is it possible to have this automatic Delivery schedule update(DELINS) without IS Auto.

  • Any way to turn off errors when updating pages from the template?

I'm using Dreamweaver MX. My site is huge. It's an intranet
spanning dozens of departments. Some of those departments have
subsites that don't fall under the intranet's control, although
they are embedded within our site's folder structure. When I make a
change to the template and update pages, every time I hit one of
those subsites I get tons of errors, from "template not found" to
"unmatched body tag". The errors that pop up each have to be
clicked on before the updating can continue. I get hundreds of
    these.
Is there any way to make errors not pop up while updating
pages from the template? Or even to exclude certain folders from
being checked? (Cloaking doesn't do it.)

    > I'm using Dreamweaver MX. My site is huge.
Both of these are problems, I'm afraid. Combining that with
    templates is
    really trouble.
    > "unmatched body tag".
Errors such as this are definitely caused by errors in your
    page itself.
Can you show me a page where you would get this?
    > Is there any way to make errors not pop up while

    > doesn't do it.)
Valid code will not produce these errors. Unfortunately, the
    only way to
avoid them is to remove any validation hiccups from your
    pages.

  • Image links aren't updating from template

If I create a page from template, not all the image links are updating, more specifically, mouse over event links are not updating. Is there anything I need to change to get these links to change from the template? I'm using Dreamweaver CS6

    <img src="../images/robin_tour_n.png"
    onmouseover="this.src='../images/robin_tour_o.png'"
    onmouseout="this.src='../images/robin_tour_n.png'" />
    This part updates: <img src="../images/robin_tour_n.png"
    But this part doesn't:

    onmouseout="this.src='../images/robin_tour_n.png'" />

  • How do I migrate settings in Illustrator after updating from CC to CC 2014?

I have just updated from CC to CC 2014 and was not given the option to migrate settings for Illustrator as I was for Photoshop. How can I do this?

I don't know if this is the easiest way to do it, but it works.
Hard Drive> Users (choose your name) > Library (if you don't see the Library - View> View Options> Show Library Folder) >Application Support > Adobe
You should see Adobe Illustrator 17 & 18 folders
Adobe Illustrator 17> en_US in this folder you will find your saved Brushes, Swatches, Symbols etc...
Open the Adobe Illustrator  18> en_US and manually place any of files from Ai 17 into the appropriate folders in Ai 18. Restart Ai 18 and check to see that everything is in place.

    Thanks for your help, Cheers

From which version are you upgrading ?
Your thread subject says "Update from Oracle Identity Manager *9.0.1.0* to 9.0.2.0, Missing XML " but it seems that you are upgrading to 9102.
Those errors are related to reports. Have you deleted any reports in your existing OIM like UserCreated Reports etc ? You can check in REP table.
    Note:
    Becareful while pasting logs:
    jdbc:oracle:thin:@<IP>:<Port>:<SID> <USER> <DB_USER_PASSWORD>

  • Updating child pages from a template in CS4

I built a site that uses one template.  Everything was going along fine I'd make a change to the template and I was able to update all the child pages.  I made changes to the template yesterday and nothing updates.  I try using the update the site... I choose the files that use  and the one template I have and none of the pages update.  I've tries re-saving the template file as a template and still nothing updates.
It has never immediately done an automatic update to the pages.  It always seems to be a while before the update these pages pallette comes up.  And again sometimes it will update all the pages, but most of the time not.
I've done a search of the discussions to see if I could find a solution, before I posted this.  The ones I found do not have a solution that works for me.
So does anyone know what to do?
On a related issue... I usually create a page save the page to the site folder and then apply the template.  I have tried to create the page from the template, but the graphic in the background of the container div doesn't show up.  I usually have to then apply the template to the newly created page to get that to show up.  So what's up with this?
    Thank you!

Try saving the page to the site after creating it, even though the graphic doesn't show up.  It should appear when you save it.
Just for drill, here is my "Seven Common Mistakes" post - do any of these cover your situation?
Here are seven common mistakes that will result in changes not propagating from Template to child -
    1.  Rename the Templates folder
    2.  Move the Templates folder to some other folder level in the site other than root level
    3.  Move a template out of the Templates folder.
    4.  Make changes to an editable region of the Template (which will not propagate)
    5.  Assume that Template changes will be effected by just uploading the changed Template file to the server without also uploading the changed local files
    6.  Corrupt the site cache so that the link between Template and child page is broken
    7.  Improperly create your child pages by simply opening the Template, adding page specific content, and resaving the Template with an *.html extension rather thanits *.dwt extension. (you can tell if this is the case by looking at the code on a child page - if you see anything like <!-- TemplateBeginEditable... then this is what you have done).  If you *have done this*, then recreate the child pages (in DW) using FILE | New > Page from Template, select the Template and click CREATE.
The 6th problem can be repaired by using SITE | Advanced > Recreate Site Cache, and the six others can be fixed by just not doing them.  Have you done any of those?

  • I have rejected servers for update from Pending Management and did not update to R2 UR5. How to scan again ?

    Hello Guys,
I have updated from SCOM 2012 SP1 to SCOM 2012 R2 UR5. After the update I saw all my agents in Pending Management. I rejected them by mistake and now they cannot be updated through the console anymore. They won't return in Pending. Is there any way to rescan
all my agents to get them in Pending Management again so I can update the SCOM agent to R2 UR5 ? Any powershell command or SQL query ?

    Hi There,
From 500 agents, How many are manually installed ? As for manually installed the Wizard will not work and you will have to do it manually.
Also if you have SCCM, You can push it through SCCM or via group policy. As the setup is repackaged and will not require any user interface options.
or try the below script to push the MSI file on multiple servers in 1 shot.
    #Variables
    $computername = Get-Content 'M:\Applications\Powershell\comp list\Test.txt'
    $sourcefile = "\\server\Apps\LanSchool 7.7\Windows\Student.msi"
#This section will install the software
    foreach ($computer in $computername)
    $destinationFolder = "\\$computer\C$\download\LanSchool"
#This section will copy the $sourcefile to the $destinationfolder. If the Folder does not exist it will create it.
    if (!(Test-Path -path $destinationFolder))
    New-Item $destinationFolder -Type Directory
    Copy-Item -Path $sourcefile -Destination $destinationFolder
    Invoke-Command -ComputerName $computer -ScriptBlock { & cmd /c "msiexec.exe /i c:\download\LanSchool\Student.msi" /qn ADVANCED_OPTIONS=1 CHANNEL=100}

My CS6 Production suite for Windows 8 does not update from the help menu? The appilcation Manager says: "The update server is not respondiing, the server might be offline temporarily..." I have registered correctly. I have turned off my AVG virus protection and tried to update my software, still the Application Manager gives the same response. When I login, I can see that my serial numbers are there, so it must have registered correctly.
    Help!

If you don't want to download the updates manually, then you need to update your Application Manager.  The relevant links are here:

  • Scheduling Manager hangs...

    Hello,
We are using Discoverer Plus 10g (10.1.2.45.46c) and migrated from an earlier version (4i) spring of 2006.
    - I am trying to schedule a workbook with multiple sheets created with the new version.
    - The workbook executes in about 4 minutes, when I manually execute the 5 worksheets back to back
    - But when I schedule it, it hangs in the Scheduling manager but when I check directly on the Database using the following command I notice that the job is done :
SELECT job,sid FROM dba_jobs_running; (no rows are returned)
After I execute that SELECT, the Scheduling Manager is automatically updated and the status the job becomes ‘Complete’. I can then open the Scheduled Workbook normally.
It is as if the Scheduling manager does not know when the execution is complete and the SELECT I do triggers the status to be updated.
Everything works fine when I schedule a workbook with single or multiple worksheets created with the earlier version. It also works fine when I schedule a single worksheet out of a multiple worksheet Workbook created with the later version of Discoverer!!!!
Can anyone mane any sense of what is happening ?
    Thank You !
    Marie

    Hi Marie
What database privileges do you have? This is the first place I would look. These are the ones you need:
    connect
    resource
    analyze any
    create procedure
    create sequence
    create session
    create table
    create view
    execute any procedure
    global query rewrite
    select any table
    unlimited tablespace
    execute on sys.dbms_job
    select on sys.v_$parameter
    I hope this helps
    Best wishes
