Scheduling Start Date in Past for PurchReq settings

Experts,
for work orders the range of how many days I allow the system to schedule in past is located in OPU3 and OPU5, Section: Scheduling Control for Detailed scheduling; Field Start in Past.
Where are these settings for purchase requisitions located ?
Thanks in advance
Jörg

  • Return the scheduled start date from one task to a custom field for all tasks

    Hi all
I am trying populate an entire custom task date field with the scheduled start date of one of the tasks. I thought the easiest way would be to:
    1) identify the date I need with a custom task flag field set to 'yes'
    2) create a formula to look for the 'yes' flag in that field and populate the custom task date field with it.
This worked only for the task where the flag was set to yes (task #36) and the rest of the 49 tasks returned an error message. I'm unsure of how to set this up so that the date with the 'yes' flag populates in this column on
    all 50 tasks.
This would also need to scale for situations where there were more or less than 50 tasks.
    Thanks in advance...

    ShelleyBrodie,
That's because the syntax of your formula isn't quite what you intend. The correct syntax is:
    IIf( expression, truepart, falsepart )
For your case that converts to:
IIf([Flag1],[Scheduled Start],{not sure what you want for the false part but I assume is is not Scheduled Start})
Note, the "Yes" for Flag1 is implied, so the first part (i.e. Scheduled Start) is the truepart, but you don't give a value for the falsepart (i.e in both cases your formula is looking for Flag1 to be "yes". Let's say you want the Date1
field to have the Scheduled Start date if Flag1 is "yes" and to have today's date if Flag1 is "no". Then the formula will be:
    IIf([Flag1],[Scheduled Start],[Current Date])
However, As I indicated in my previous response, you won't be able to do what you described in your initial post by using a formula. Are you now trying to do something different?

  • Scheduling start date and end dates

    Hello Gurus,
I am trying to understand the schedule start date and schedule end date functionality in Plant Maintenance. I do understand the basic start and end dates. Currently I set up u201C3.Do not adjust basic dates, dep rqmts to order startu201D and set the scheduling type as u201CForwardsu201D . Please note we donu2019t do any capacity planning or leveling.
So my question is, why the scheduling start date is defaults to the basic  start date  for forwards and scheduling finish date defaults to basic finish date for backwards ? I tried adding couple of operations and save the work order. It did not change anything in schedule dates.
Do we really need to care about scheduling dates if we donu2019t use capacity planning ?
    Please advise
    Mahee

    Hi,
As per priority, final dates would be calculated as we will define the duration based on the priprity. Either current date or basic date only applied to Scheduling start date.
You can change the scheduling start date so that based on priority, final date would be calculated.

  • Task Scheduled Start Date with RAPI

Task Scheduled Start Date with RAPI
Is it possible to have a scheduled start date for a task in a service that is generated by RAPI, and, which does not have any authorizations/reviews? RAPI seems to throw the request into the service delivery moment without calculating the tasks even if I supply a date onload (in a field for the task start date to use). It works fine if there are authorizations or reviews, which is expected, but I can't get it to work without them. Thanks!

Fascinating. As a workaround could you try throwing in a dummy authorization? For example, externalize it with ServiceLink dummy and autocomplete adapters, or keep it internal, but conditional with a condition that would always be false.

  • Process Order Schedule Finish date before Schedule Start date

On rare occasions, the process order Schedule Finish date is before the Schedule Start date.  This causes an error on the APO system when the process order is CIF to APO.  Does anyone have any ideas how this occur?
    Thanks.
    Best regards,
    Sandy

Rajesha, thank you for your reply but it doesn't solve my problem.
    Let me restate my scenario:
I start a process order and both the basic and scheduled finish dates are the same, June 1.
At some point, shop floor tells me they will be late and cannot deliver until June 15.
I need to update a date in the system so the ATP and the MRP planning runs have correct information for promising customers, I will update the Basic Finish date with June 15.
I also need to keep the original June 1 date in order to measure the shop floor performance to the production schedule to measure how early or late the  order was delivered. How can I keep the original finish date or how can I measure if a process order is early or late??
    Thank you for your help,
    Greg

  • PP DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL - Incorrect extraction of latest scheduled start dates (SSAVD)

    Hi experts,
we use the SAP Business Content Standard DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL "Work Center View PP" and need the latest scheduled start date each production order operation.
In the production order operation overview (t/code CO03) on the ERP-side we have the expected latest scheduled start (Source AFVGD-SSAVD)
But in the DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL (PSA-Table) we become the incorrect latest scheduled start dates (DataSource field SSAVD)
Any ideas or experiences why the latest scheduled start date not up-to-date?
    Many thanks and best regards,
    Michael

    Hi,
I have tested the scenario again...
At the header level of test production order 1000381 I have changed the basic dates (Start/End) from 22.04.2014 to 24.04.2014.
As a result the start dates at operation level also changed...
After the above changes I have extracted the Data. The Delta-Queue (RSA7) for the relevant DataSource 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL looks nearly good.
For the both operations 20 and 30 the delta update for the field "Latest start date" (SSAV) works correct. But the delta update for the first operation "10" not processed.
Is it possible that the delta update only works for specific system status? Or any other ideas?
    Many thanks and best regards,
    Michael

  • Filters on CSWP not working when Scheduling Start Date sets Immediate Value

In Sharepoint 2013, When users sets value of "Scheduling start date" to "Immediately", the filters does not work correctly.
I have checked many forums where it is mentioned that If you set scheduling Start date to Immediately, internally the Scheduling Start Date is set to 01/01/1900.
When i use query in content search webpart as publishing date is between "Scheduling Start Date" and "Scheduling End Date" so it fails. it  does not displays filtered data.
Please provide some resolution for this issue.
I have tried using calculated field wherein we can put formula to get value for Immediate value and then use it in Filter expression. but I need another approach related to "Scheduling Start Date" Column. i.e can we remove the Immediate radio button
or can we restrict user to use specific date only?
    Thanks in Advance.

This is a new one on me.
It's a server program to interface with QuickTime and some other problematic services.
If you use video or 3D in Photoshop Extended, you probably need it.
Sounds like you are correct in that it has to do wtih Quicktime.  Do you have PS extended?

  • Early schedule start date, early schedule finish date

I want early schedule start date, early schedule finish date and project cost plan in my report. This is a PS requirement. In the standard cube (0PS_C02) I can find actual start date and actual finish date. Has anybody used early schedule start date and early schedule finish date in the reports? If yes then did you get it using standard cube/ODS or you went for enhancement?

    HI,
He have to go for few tables in which u can find all the data.
Firstly u have to enhance the datasource .
First go to table AFKO here you insert  AFUNR (Order Number) this table you will get AUFPL .
Then take AUFLP and go to AFVV table and insert AFUPL . you will get all the activites and all dates of each activity  for example early start date ,early finish date, foirecost date etc.
    Thanks and Regards

  • In plant parameters how the start date in past will be applicable for order

    Hi All,
Can any one explain me in detail start in past for plant parmeters (OPPQ).
    Regards
    sailendra

    Hi,
Start date of order proposals allowed in the past
This indicator defines that the system does not automatically switch to forward scheduling if the order start date lies in the past for determining the basic dates. With this indicator, backward scheduling is always used to determine the basic dates, even if the start date lies in the past.
e.g Bacward scheduling type, Today date is 08.06.2009
If u give basic finish date say 25.06.2009,and system propose you basic start date in 06.06.2009. That is 06.06.2009 is lies in past date.In this case system propose you forward scheduling.Means order basic start date is 08.06.2009 .If you don't want to system propose you for forward scheduling tick mark Start in past in OPPQ.
    Hope this clear you.
    Regards,
    Raja.

  • Start date in past

    Hi all ,
What for the need / concept of  the Stat date in past has been given in Scheduling paramters ?
or why i have to create the order in past date when practically i can not mfg the prodcut in past ?
    Thanks in adv .
    Regards

    Hi,
For every production order we are scheduling with some cushion time because of many interruptions. These cushion timings given in schedule margin key.
As per system schedule , production start date in the past. We can not start production from the past date.
But with these cushion timings float before production, opening  period we can eleminate & possible to start production from today.
So no need to reschedule the order.
    Hope this helps you.

  • SNP Planned Order start date in past

    Hi
After SNP run, for the past requirements it is giving avaiablilty data as today but the planned order start date is in past. Now this order fails in CIF as the production version in R/3 is valid from today.
In the strategy profile we have backward+reverse with infinite scheduling. In this case the start date should be todays date for past requrirements... am I correct?

    Hello Abhishek,

  • Active user report has different responsibility start date than inquiry for

    hi,
I have a user for whom I see a different responsibliy start date in user inquiry form than what I see in Active user report for the same user.
Any idea why it is this way?
This tells me that inquiry forma and active users are pulling responsiblity start date from different place.
Please help this is a big problame for audit.

    Hi,
    Please mention the application release.
Have you verified the value from the application (Security > User > Define)?
If possible, please post the query you use to get the start date.

  • Get all the back schedule start date except last and current month

    Hi All;
Below gives me last month  schedule start
    scheduledstart >= DATEADD(mm,DATEDIFF(mm,0,GETDATE())-1,0)
    AND scheduledstart < DATEADD(mm,DATEDIFF(mm,0,GETDATE()),0)
Below gives me current month  schedule start
    scheduledstart >= DATEADD(MONTH, DATEDIFF(MONTH, 0, GETDATE()), 0)
    AND scheduledstart < DATEADD(MONTH, DATEDIFF(MONTH, 0, GETDATE())+1, 0)
I need to find all the schedule start excluding current month and last month
Any help on this much appreciated
    Thanks
    Pradnya07

    Hi,
You could use NOT BETWEEN with the start date of last month and the end date of the current month:
    AND schedulestart NOT BETWEEN DATEADD(mm,DATEDIFF(mm,0,GETDATE())-1,0)
    AND DATEADD(MONTH, DATEDIFF(MONTH,
    0, GETDATE())+1,
    0)
    Hope this helps,
