Scheduling Time in process order
Dear All
While creating process order system is not picking scheduling time as per maintained in recipe because of this capacity is not being load on WC & showing zero reqmnt. Whreas date are properly calculating as per inhouse time maintained. In OPUZ i had ticked both scheduling & capacity reqmnt.
In resource i had maintained all parameter in capacity & capacity is showing as 24 Hr. Scheduling & Capacity fromula had aslo maintain. Wht could be other reason for nt calculating time as per recipe.
Thanks & regards
Rashid,
So is the dates getting populated correctly after scheduing function? If so then probably you current system design it to perform scheduling manually. You can use the "Production Scheduling profile" to perform this automatically. You need to assign a production scheduling profile defined for automatic Scheduling at the creation stage to you materil master "Work Scheduling" view

Hi
Can anyone explain how does the GR processing time affect the scheduling of the process order & the latest start date in the operation overview.Hi
GR processing time means number of workdays required after receiving the material in storage.

Batch number coming automatically at the time of Process order release
Hi All,
I want the system generated batch number for header material to come automatically at the time of process order release.
At present ,the batch number is entered manualy dering process order creation.
Can anyone pls guide abt the settings required for the sameDear,
Define the production scheduling profile CORY then
Auto Batch Creation = 2 On release.
Then assign this to your FG or SFG materials in work scheduling view in material msater MM02. Then create new order and check.
Now for automatic generation i have to set internal number asignment for batches.
Batch will create for movement type say 101 SPROLogistics - GeneralBatch mangment--Creation of New Batches --Define Batch Creation for Goods Movements. so it will have same logic in MM for 101 GR against PO will be internal number range but no effect in SD.

How to delete old schedule time of process chain after changing
I am try to change the schedule time of process chain on production but after changed the old schedule is still working (i.e. every day on 7 am I want change it to 6 am only) ,one process scheduled two time.
I want only last changed. How to remove the older one?
Thankshmm wierd...one more thing check if this process chain get trigger by anyother process chain by some abap program or any.
Check the table rspcchain to know if it has any meta chain or not. IF not follow the below steps :
make your process chain trigger based upon the event. Follow the below step.
1.SM64 ---> Create event -
> come to your process chain -> maintain the start variant -> event base---> give that event name here. Now we will be require to create the job which will trigger this event for this.
2.Let us take the below PC as example;
ZL_TD_HCM_004 -- This PC is running after event u2018START_ZL_TD_HCM_004u2019
3.Go to T Code: SM36 Here we define the Background job which will be available in SM37 after saving it.
4.It will ask for ABAP Program to be entered. Give it as Z_START_BI_EVENT and Select Variant from the list. (Based on Process chain, you can select it)
5.Then select Start Conditions and give the start time of process chain. and select periodicity.
6.Save the newly created job in SM36.It will be now available in SM37.
This should solve your problem now .. have fingure crossed

Deepak

Manual scheduling phases in Process order
Hello dears,
a question came out to my business during Process order (PP-PI module) testing.
When a order is created, the system uses master recipe data to schedule each phase, and to assign them a start and finish time. These values are displaied in the process order for each phase.
The question is: is it possible to change them manually, in case I need to reschedule only a specific phase and not the whole order? Because currently I see that dates fields are not editable in COR2.
Thanks a lot.
Kind regards,
GiovanniDear ,
You ca not able to manually chanes the date and time unless they are Dispatched after capacity evalution or leveling at the Resource level.
Generally , if your resource is having finite scheduling active and you have CRP planning is in place , then you need to goto CM07/CM05 to check the Overload/Availablit of the resouce in a certain date n time so that you can re-scheule them manually from CM21/CM22/CM23 .
To meet this requirement , you have to adop Capacity Requirement Planning set up .
Check our earlier posting on the similar issue : Capacity Planning not considering plnd order
Capacity requirements generation at phase level only

Automatic Reservation at the time of process order creation
Hi Experts,
As you are aware, when we create a process order and save, system automatically generates the reservation and the reservation will be for movement type 261. My requirement is like this. When system creates reservation, system should consider for which order type the process order is created and create a reservation for other movement type also.
For eg. Iam having order type ZRRW. When system creates reservation at the time of order creation, system should check the order type and reservation should be created for a movement type Z11 instead of 261 in the normal case.
Is there any user exit for the same. Please let me know.
Else how can I post the goods issue with a movement type other than 261. MIGO is not accepting other movement types.
Anticipating your reply
Regards
PrathibHi Ayethebing,
Thanks for the reply. we created the new movement types inorder to use the SAP standard reports and get the different types of goods movements based on the different processes.
We can do the goods issue using the custom movement type through MB1A. But I was trying to use in MIGO and this is where system wont allow this.
In MIGO, system will do the goods issue based on reservation only. The reservation is created at the time of order creation and it uses movement type 261 irrespective of the order type.
I was trying to find out whether any option is there to use custom movement type to create reservation so that system would propose this movement type in MIGO for goods issue against process order.
This is an interesting case but unfortunately dont have any option of user exit or Badi. Only one user exit related to reservation is to change the str loc and back flush indicator.
@Sabine: Thanks for your reply. But the BADI that you provided wont serve the purpose.
Thanks

Editing of scheduled dates in Process Order Operations
Hello,
I have a requirement, in which the client would like to change the Scheduled dates in the operation details of a process order.
In the header screen of a process order, if we change the basic start / finish dates (depending on forward or backward scheduling), and reschedule the process order, the process order is rescheduled, with the new dates.
The client's requirement is, they should be able to change the Scheduled dates in the tab "Operation - Dates", of the "Operation overview" screen, in a process order. Normally the field is not editable, and the system calculates the dates, based on the start / finish dates, entered in the process order header.
I would like to know, what is the way out, to meet this requirement.
Thanks.Hi,
As every body else is explaining it is not possible for standard SAP , as of normal business or any business scenario why would a client want to change the operation dates from Production order ( still not understood.....)
There are two options to do that:
1) Copy the whole transaction ( programmes ) into some Z - transaction and in the programme you can change the object ( CO_VG_OPR_*) from being grayed out.
This will alllow you to change the dates.
2) you can go for enhancement with the following FM
BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN
I suggest you to clear these things with client. These things require more of ABAP work.
And as said changing the standard behaviour of the system can cause performance issues.
Please close the thread if satisfied.

Hi experts,
I need one clarification, i am raise one process order in COR1 - Qty 1000 kg, reservation completed against the process order bill of material main storage location ( 0001 & 0002 ) To Production storage location ( 0004 ) through MB21 with mvnt.type 311, store person also moved the bill of material main storage location ( 0001 & 0002 ) To Production storage location ( 0004 ) through MB1B.
Issue is at the time of confirmation i am enter the OK qty or packed qty in yield column - 950 kg , remaining 50 kg is enter in loss column.> Go to confirmation bill of material qty calculated at only for related in yield qty. Remaining loss qty related bill of material not consumed it is available in production storage location ( 0004 ),then one by one raw material and packing material qty moved to scrap location through MB1A - 541 Mvnt type.
If any other way for easy reservation and goods issue against the process order main storage location to production storage location.
I need at the time of confirmation enter yield qty related BOM qty consumed in 261 consumption, remaining loss qty related BOM qty taken scrap mvt.type 541 in automatically if it is possible for any customization at the time of loss qty enter related bill of material qty also posted in scrap ?
Kindly help me for the issue !
Thanks & Regards,
N.UmapathyHi
In Standard practice the scrap generated during the production process should be maintaid as negative qty and with differnent material codes which acts as BY Product.
In your case when you maintain the scrap percentage for BOM components , it will copied to the production order with adtditional qty and it will be consumed when you do confirmation and Goods moevement and at the same time the Scrap material is generated/received with movement type 531( not 541) as by product received out of production.
You can maintain the same BOM component as By product in BOM system will generate the stock to a different SLoc but the cost will be wrong.

Co-Product Lot creation at the time of Process order release.
Hello All,
I want to map a scenario such that:
Whenever a order for material is RELEASED it should generate a LOT for say MAIN product ,CO-PRODUCT & BY-PRODUCT(in shrt also for its BOM).
Thanks.Use Userexit QAAT0001 to create m inspection lot for co-product.
For more help on this user exit refer to link
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/QAAT0001Do'sand+Don'ts
Inspection lot so created is manual IL, hence it cannot be used to control stock postings.
And system will automatically create 05 type inspection lot when 531 movement is posted for co-product. Thus you will have two inspection lots for the same co-product.
You may want to review your business requirements and verify you actually need this functionality
Please note -
Inspection lot created for Finished product is different. Initially when order is released
It has no quantity association, but as and when Stock postings are done,
SAP will add these quantities to the IL and control the stock postings.
With manual inspection lot you can not have this functionality without extensive programming.
Hope this helps. -
BAPI PROCESS ORDER Creation u2013 can the SCHEDULE Date/Time be specified?
I am currently using BAPI_PROCORD_CREATE to create a Process Order from an inbound IDOC. This works well, when I pass the following fields:
BAPI Parameter ORDERDATA
ORDER_NUMBER Process Order number (EXTERNAL)
MATERIAL Material to be produced
PLANT Plant
ORDER_TYPE Order Type
BASIC_START_DATE Start Date
BASIC_START_TIME Start Time
BASIC_END_DATE Basic End Date
BASIC_END_TIME Basic End Time
QUANTITY Process Order Quantity
QUANTITY_UOM Quantity Unit of Measure
However, I have a requirement to also specify the SCHEDULED Start Date (GSTRS) and End Dates (GLTRS), but the BAPI parameters do not the SCHEDULE Dates to be specified.
I have also used the functions CLOI_CHANGES_UPL_31 and CLOI_CHANGES_UPL_45 to create Process Orders successfully, but neither of these allow for the SCHEDULE dates to be passed in.
Does anyone know how I might be able to achieve such a result?
I am trying to avoid the use of CALL TRANSACTION on COR1, so would be grateful if anyone has any thoughts.
In the mean time, Iu2019ll ask the business if it would be possible to apply any rules by whereby if we specified a BASIC_START_DATE, whether it would be able to derive the correct schedule date accordingly.
PPu2019s not one of my better modules, so apologies if whatu2019s been asked above is a stupid question!
AlistairHI...
Pls chk in scheduling control for detailed scheduling in T code OPUZ. and change the scheduling type forwards to forwards in time and backwards to backwards in time.
Now when ever you would create the order system would ask the scheduling dates either start or finish in stead of Basic dates.
Instead of using BAPI you could make a simple LSMW pogram. It would talk 5 min.
This is a standard SAP functionality to select Basic dates because SAP consider all master data for scheduling like Schedule margin key.
I think It would help you.

Hi gurus
I am working for process industries with ECC 6.0 version.
In my configuration part i was done all schedule part. I given target qty in master recipe as 150 kg / 60 min and set up time is 15 min. But at the time of process order creation, the process order basic finish date was not calculated depending on the qty entered. but scheduling carried out message was showed.
so tell anybody where i missed the configuration.

Problem with Process Order Scheduling..
Dear Experts,
i'm stucking with the scheduling of a process oreder.
I've maintained all scheduling parameters into OPUZ except "selection ID" for detailed scheduling as it is grey & not allowing to fill any entry into it.
I've also maintained production scheduler and other relevant settings into master recipe & resource regarding scheduling .
Still i'm getting the error"Scheduling parameters for process orders have not been entered" message no CT609.
Kindly help me out , where i'm wrong
Thanx in advance...Dear Dennis,
Ensure the scheduling parameters in OPUZ for the order type, plant combination and for all (* )scheduler you have maintainied
the scheduling type, the check box for scheduling and generate capacity requirements under detailed scheduling is set.
Check and revert back.

Hi All,
Can any one explain what steps needs to be taken for archiving PR_ORDER.
I am looking for below scenario:
1) Setting up of Residence time for process order and how it works?
2) If any additional steps needs to be taken care to archive Process Orders, apart from the process which is followed to archive data from SAP.
--Thanks
Pankaj.K.SHI Pankaj,
I dont know much more about this archiving.
Just a simple idea.
First of all go to T-code SARA , entert the object name(PR_ORDER) and select the database table , from here u can get all the table used in this object. I think there are 181 tables are used.Note down the tables.
Now go to T-code --DB02 and select detailed analysis tab give ur table name , from here u can find out total memory space taken by table in sap.
NOw go to T-code TAANA , go for back ground job schedule for each table and find out the total entries in the table.
REward if helpful........
Thanks,
