SAP ROUTER getting restart every week

Hi Friends ,
In My Organization our employees are facing problem with SAP CONNECTION , every one week SAP ROUTER is getting restart , for 2, 3 minits ,
In that time we are unable to connect our servers.When i check for Router status its showing running only.
We asked our network team for any network problem, they replied no problems from network side.
I want to know the reason for this problem and is there any job scheduled for restart the server ,where we need to check.

Hi Please find the log file in sm21..from last one month.in this file every Thursday morning at 10:02AM sap is disconnecting for all users.not only production ,Quality server and Development servers also happening same.
At the same time My SAP router time stamp also showing same time.

"2 weeks start first monday of a month" sounds like the 1st, third and possibly the fifth Monday of the month.
So you can try

On the Backup Jobs tab select New to create a new job. Follow the wizard to select the volumes you want to backup and where you want to save the backup images. On the schedule screen select Weekly. Set the day and time for the Full backup to run.

Every week Production is Non-Functional - How to resolve this?

Dear Legends,
Our ENV:
OS - Redhat Linux 64 bit
DB - 11.2.0.3 RAC
Weblogic - 10.3.6
SOA Suite - 11.1.1.6 - we have 2 managed soa_servers and 1 admin server
JVM - Sun JDK 1.6.0_29
RAM - 24G
For the past month we are facing the following issues very often
1. EM is extremely slow - due to low space in DB - Tot - 47G Usd - 42G Free - 5G
2. If we click any of the process sometimes it will come with a FABRIC WARNING Status with duration of 30mins - Is it due to the Dehydration space? We do purge every week but still we have more than 50000 records which is older than 90days.
3. Often now a days we are getting stuck threads and utilizing the JVM fully and getting the servers to react badly. - Is there a way to UNSTUCK a STUCK THREAD MANUALLY?
Please help me to avoid servers going down until we have our maintenance.

Thanks, I expected that purge would be the issue but the purge scripts are looking only for the states which are in completed state. It is not looking for RUNNING and FAULTED, FAULTED, FAULT and COMPLETE, FAULT and RUNNING.
To solve third issue, you'll have to take some thread dumps in the time you have a Stuck Thread on your JVM. If you post it here, I can help you analize it and detect what its causing this behavior.Currently I have 2 Stuck Threads in soa_server1 and it is prevailing for 3days which shows WARNING Status. Thread dumps are here
And NO, there is no way to unstuck a thread. The only way to solve it is to setup work manager to restart this jvm when a thread become stucked. But the right way its to investigate the thread issues.Restarting JVM wont affect other web service calls? What will be the servers reaction when a work manager is restarting the JVM?

Excel charts are loading to fail every week

We are having several excel charts in our site, every week or every few days we are receiving below error
Failed to download chart or image.
Once we restart the excel services every thing starts working with out any error.
We had this charts from more than 1year. But the issue started recently. Can any one help me on how to fix the issue.

Running a report every week automatically

I want to run a report every week for all the variants defined for it and it should be sent to spool automatically. what is the procedure for achieving this.
IF this has to achieved by scheduling the report.
can you send me steps for achieving this kind of execution for all the variants
executing for a single day or less in the foreground itself so i can see whether it is executing correctly or not.

Why does my computer restart every time I plug in my ipod?

I got my ipod touch a few weeks ago, and for the last two weeks, every time I plug it in, my computer restarts. It continues to restart every time it reaches the XP loading bit (where the bars travel across the screen, I don't know the technical name). I put the computer into safe mode and it doesn't restart, but my ipod isnt recognised on itunes so I can't sync it.
Does anyone have this problem, or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I've got a first gen. Ipod touch and I had a problem with my computer and had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall windows! since then when I plug in my touch it restarts my computer.
I'm looking on the forum for a solution before I try anything but to me it looks like we have a similar problem.
The only things different on my system since the last time it worked properly are I updated/reinstalled itunes yesterday and I installed NORTON 360 about a week ago so I think it must have something to do with them!
what browser do you use? I'm using firefox.

Launch a Proccess every week

Hi everybody, I would like to know if there is a way to program a process something like a cron what happen is that i want to execute a process every week, does somebody have an example ? thanks in advance :D

You might need to look into the PushRegistry API.
However, what you describe will not be possible. It is not possible to let a process be started and executed automatically. In other words: the user will always be prompted if he/she wants to launch the autostart registered app, every week. I could not get this prompt away, with or without having the app signed. However, this last thing might differ on certain devices; I can't confirm that.
And, it is only possible to set one autostart time (when I am right it was a long value referring to the amount of milliseconds from the current time on). So, it is not possible to specify some schedule like "every week". You will need to re-register a new (i.e. next alarm time) PushRegistry autostart entry everytime when your app was launched.
And, the user needs to start the application manually on the very first time (so, after having installed it on the phone). It is not possible to install the MIDlet and register an PushRegistry autostart entry automatically.

Scheduling process chain once every fiscal period (4/4/5)

I'd like to schedule a process chain to run on the second day of each fiscal period. Our fiscal periods are 4 weeks/4 weeks/5 weeks, so specifying a period of 4 weeks wouldn't work. Any ideas?

Hi,
A crude way of doing this would be add an ABAP program as the first step which will check whether it is the second day of a new fiscal period or not.
You can schedule this program as the first step of your process (I assume you can add an ABAP program as a step), and only if it is successful you shall proceed with the rest of the process chain.
You can then schedule it every second day of every week, so it will run the process chanin completely only as required (in start of fiscal periods) and stop at first step in all other weeks.
Not very elegant, but may do the job.
Or an ABAP program can call your process chain. This program can be scheduled everyweek. In its logic it will check for the date-validity logic before it proceeds with triggering the process chain. This will also work as well.
I am not very familiar with process chains so what is mentioned above may not entirely be applicable for them (It will work in standard R/3 jobs I know).

Contact the maker of the app. Apple has nothing to do with subscriptions to third party apps.

Once in a while the restore process seems to mess up. What I don't understand is why you would perform a weekly restore.
At any rate, if you must restore, perform a device reset (settings>general>reset) and then you will have the opportunity to restore from iCloud. Restore a device whenever it no longer works correctly, not just as a matter of maintenance. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Entourage User Account Diables Itself Every Week or So

Running Mail Service on Apple OS X server package 10.4.4 (problem also was on 10.4.3) we have two customers whose log in account becomes disabled every week or so, as though they had made too many erroneous attempts to log in. We reset their account, and they're good to connect for a few more days, then they contact us to say they can't log in, we check the workgroup manager and, sure enough, the log in permission has disabled itself.
Anyone else seeing this? They are also Mac users, too. They thought they "needed" the features of Entourage. No other email customers using this mail server are complaining at all, although probably no others are using Microsoft Entourage.
We're pretty suspicious this is an issue between Microsoft Entourage and the Open Directory. Occasionally we see one of these users logged in twice at the same time on the server connected users monitor screen.

apple's customer service is the wort customer service in the world.

I don't understand why you need to buy a new one every week. I've had my iPhnoe 5 for almost a year, never had a problem with the cable. In addition, your phone is can't be more than a year old. Therefore, unless you're damaging them, your cable is under warranty and Apple will replace it. Perhaps you should have tried actually availing yourself of Apple's customer service before complaining about it.
