    ROUTE SHEDULING
1.Scheduling With Route Schedule For Shipping Point
Route schedules (previously referred to in the system as delivery phases in this step) describe the periodic delivery of goods from a shipping point to different ship-to parties and their unloading points.
Here you specify per shipping point whether this sort of periodicity is generally required.
    Requirements
f you want to define route schedules, you must perform the following activities:
    1. Define routes
    2. Activate delivery scheduling
    Standard settings
The control function without determination of route schedules is delivered with the system.
    Further notes
Route schedules can be determined for deliveries, orders and stock transfer orders.
2.Scheduling With Route Schedule For Sales Document Type
Route schedules describe regular outgoing delivery of goods from a shipping point to different ship-to parties and their unloading points.
This is where you configure whether you want this to apply to a given sales document.
    Requirements
If you want to define route schedules, you must complete the following activities:
    1. Define routes
    2. Activate shipping dates
    Standard settings
Controlling without determination of route schedules.
    Further notes
Route schedules can only be determined for deliveries.

  • Server 2008 R2: Setting up a custom schedule with task scheduler

I am trying to schedule a task using Server 2008 R2 Task Scheduler
I've been googling and searching for an answer on how to do this. I could easily do it on Server 2003.
I need to run a program (custom) that updates some tables in a database.
I need to run it Monday thru Saturday at 20 minutes after the hour from 7:20 am through 5:20pm. Not on Sunday and not at night (only normal business hours)
These are the steps I am following: I create task, General, I enter the description, Then triggers, new, select weekly, select start date and time, select the days I want (every day except sunday), repeat the task every hour, for a duration of (all I can
choose is 12 hours).. This is where I am stuck. I guess I could choose 12 hours but I need it to stop at 5:20 pm not 7:20pm. Has anybody done something similar to this?

Go ahead and choose something appropriate in dropdowns on Edit Trigger then over-type them with whatever you want.

  • Calculation of goods issue date in scheduling agreements with routes

    Hello together,
i have a problem with the calculation of goods issue date in scheduling agreements when we use route, because the system ignore the days of transit.
    Example:
We had customized the route 4711 with a transit time of 3 days. This route would be related to a scheduling agreement. But this setting has no influence to the calculation of the goods issue date for the schedules. The same happens with loading date and so on.
Can anyone give me a tip, which setting is additional necessary?
    Regards
    Andreas Walter

    Hi,
    check the following settings
    1, Route determination Path : IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Routes>Route determination
2, Activate the route Determination for your sales document type in following path :IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Routes>Route Schedule Determination-->Schedule with route schedule for sales document type
3, Maintain Delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling in the following path:IMG>sales and distribution>Basic function>Delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling>Maintain Duration

  • Determinate route schedule in SD order VBEP-AULWE

    Hi all,
I want to activate route schedule :
    - I have a route schedule masterdata (VL51) : for one route, one shipping point and one sold-to party
    - I have actived scheduling with route schedule for my shipping point and for my sales document type (spro > LE > shipping > basic shipping > routes > routes schedule determination)
    - my shipping point has a working time and a value in "pick pack time in work hours".
In my order, route and shipping point are determinate but not the schedule route  (field VBEP-AULWE)
I don't solve the problem, I've you got an idea ?
    Thanks a lot !!
    Celine

Does anyone found a solution in the meantime?
I maintained all the mentioned settings but route scheduling for the relevant shipping point is still not working. I have only success when I add receiving hours for the specific day at the customer master of partner WE. But this cannot be the solution. If so I wouldn't need the route scheduling functionality.
What is the minimum requirement to get route scheduling to work? Maybe I missed something.
Is it really mandatory to maintain working hours for the shipping point? At note 146829, point 3.2 it's written that working hours are only necessary when I want to get "precise" scheduling results. I don't want this, determination on a day basis is precise enough.

  • LSMW  VL51 Route Schedule Master

    Hi Experts,
I am doing a LSMW conversion for tcode VL51 and facing problems while executing step "Run Batch Input Session".
My file layout is like this:
    023 753/005/MK
    87 default 01 01
    88 default 02 01
While processing session, system is creating Route Schedule with the first line item only i.e. 87 default 01 ....etc.
Have processed the session in Foreground mode and noticed that, Route Schedule after getting created for the first item, is coming back to the VL51 initial screen with Route Schedule Nbr(just got created) and system throwing error msg "Route Schedule 753/005/MK already exsists".
I have chked all the steps in my LSMW and they seem to be OK i.e. read data, convert data, etc.
Could anyone pls help me fix this issue? Thnkxin advance.

    Hi,
I have already changed the source structures viz.Header & Item by adding the 'Identifier' field in them.
Yes, u r right that I did the recording with just 1 line item. This is because, I do not know how many items a
particular Route Schedule would contain.Since that was not working, I repeated the recording with 2 line items, but he problem still persists.
I  was checking each and every step of the LSMW and found that in 'Read Data' step system is reading the source
file as it is, i.e. in a hierarchical manner with 1 header and 2 line items as there in the source file. But, after the conversion step, when I am executing 'Display Convert Data', I am seeing two distinct lines as Header->1st line item and
Header->2nd line item. It's not showing in a hierarchical manner.
I wonder if this is the cause, but having no clue how to rectify it.
    Plz help.....

  • Schedule Line Delivery Date Calculation with Transportation Scheduling

    Hi All,
We are currently running into a problem where our Sales Order Schedule Line delivery dates are being pushed out too far into the future - because of the Calendar being used to determine the transit time.
We have 'Delivery Scheduling' and 'Transportation Scheduling' activated for our Sales Document type
We have Routes that are configured with a 'Transit Time' and a 'Factory Calendar'
    Order Scenario:
'Factory Calendar' assigned to our 'Route' is setup with only one 'Workday' in a given week e.g. Wednesday
Our 'Route' has a Transit Time of 2 days
We create a Sales Order on Monday for a Material that is available in our Plant
The 'Goods Issue' date is being determined correctly for the next Workday - being Wednesday
The 'Delivery Date' is extending out over 15 days (2 Wednesdays into the future) - since it is working on 'Calendar Days' and not 'Actual Days'
Does anyone know of a way (config or other) to only influence the 'Goods Issue' date with the 'Factory Calendar' assigned to the Route, and have the 'Delivery Date' calculated using the Transit Time on the Route and 'Actual Days' rather than Calendar days?
    All help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ravelle<i></i>

    Hi Pathik,
Thanks for your reply.  I have already maintained the Calendars I'm using for this business process in <SCAL> - same as <OY05>.
The problem I'm having though is that by assigning a Calendar directly to my route (which I doing to influence the goods issue date - using a 1 Working Day Calendar) it is also taking precedence in determining the Transit time - which in this case I don't want, as I want my Transit time to be determined using a 5 Working Day Calendar.
I don't think this problem has a config option as a work around...I think the only possibility in this case is a development to achieve the results we need.
    Thanks,
    Ravelle

  • Route Schedule in Third Party Orders

We have made the necessary setting for the determination of Route and Route Schedule, but unfortunately the route schedule is not getting picked in the Third party order, but it works wonderfully with outbound delivery orders...
Is there any other setting to trigger the RS for 3rd party orders? or is it that SAP doesnt support RS for 3rd party orders as there is no actual delivery happening?
    Regards
    Raj

    Dear Babu,
As, in Third-Party Orders, theres is no Material-Movement (shipping) from Plant; Route Schedule will not be applicable. Customer places an order on to you and you have placed an order to your vendor, who will directly deliver the goods to your customer.
    Best Regards,
    Amit.

  • MRP Scheduling with a material with multiple production versions scrap rate

    Greetings all.
I have a problem with MRP scheduling.  How do you account for different loss rates or scrap rates on a material because of multiple versions of a material that are in production.  For example, we have an item.  There are two differen ways to make that item and both have different loss rates or scrap rates.  How do we account for this.  And whatt happens when you have these with multiple routings.  Thanks.

    Dear,
It can be handled in 3 ways.
1st way - Create 2 versions to represent 2 ways of production. Create a 3rd version name it as total and make it as a first version so that MRP will take this version for scheduling. In total version give the most correct scrap qty and timming in routing. Hence when you run MRP system will consider the total version, then change the varsion in planned order as per your requirement.
Second way - Create 2 version and if you are using Demand planning, in MD61 against the qty represent the version number so that when youn run MRP, the planned order will carry the version.
3rd way - Create 2 Production version and create a quota arrangement and assihgn these two Production version as Quota items and give the % share. Hence when youn run MRP system will share the demand qty into two different version as per Quiota arrangement(setting in MRP2 is necessary fir planning).
Please come back which one you are looking for so that we can give furthur information

  • Route schedule and Route Combination

    Hi Experts ,
I have a Sales Order . Now Under schedule Line Tab I see two schedule Lines ,one line with confirmed quantity now, each schedule Line  with different route schedule .
I would Like to Know , how the system understands when and which route schedule to take , when more than 1 route schedule is present for a Route .
How the system Picks up the correct route schedule when 2 or more route schedule is there for A route.
    Thanks
    MM_sD

    Hi Sayantan,
Actually I want to understand how a Route picks up different Route schedule .
Below is the schedule Line . Now for the 1st date I see route schedule as SSGPT321TU
For the 2nd Date in schedule Line I see different Route Schedule as SSGPT321MO.
Now how the Route SGSGPT decides which schedule to take for which date , how does this works
    Thanks

  • Finds the correct route schedule

Master data  :     Route scheduling    transaction  VL51  and  VL52
The customer is linked to 2 route schedules with different goods issue dates :
    Every monday at 10  AM
    Every thursday at 3 PM
In the sales order, when you enter a first delivery date, R/3 finds the correct route schedule and calculates precisely the goods issue date according to the customer delivery date.
If you change the delivery date in the sales order item (option: edit/fast change of /delivery date), R/3 does not determine a new route schedule and stays with the first one.

In my personal opinion, you can have any certifications you want but if you can't/don't pass the "practical exam" that we've set up as part of a candidate's interview process then you're out.
In my present job, I've seen so many candidates applying for jobs with CCNA, CCNP and CCIE "certification".  The very minute we informed them that part of the interview process is a "practical exam" involving configuration of some routers and switches ... these so-called "certified" candidates back out.

  • Routing scheduling

    Hi
I have created routing and i have maintained 22 Hours  planned time for workcenter X. Operating hours for workcenter X are 21 Hrs daily.
When i do backward scheduling with finish date 8 october 2009  time 24:00 Hrs   then system calculates start date as  06.10.2009   and time 22:51:26 . But as per planned hours 22 it should start at 06.10.2009   and time 23:00:00.
Why it is starting at 22:51:26 . There is not queue time , wait time, move time.
Also  i have maintained operation scrap as 10 % but in scheduling results iam getting 11.11 % instead of 10%

  • Schedule generating site map with KM Scheduler

Hi everyone, as it takes a long time for a user to generate a site map and then get it displayed on the client side. From SDN I found all the solutions for site map are implemented in DynPage class.
I know executing DynPage is iView or browser window dependent. So it seems impossible to schedule this kind of portal component application with KM Scheduler.
I do hope there is a trick to do this. If there is no is any solution by now to execute like DynPage class with KM Scheduler ?
    Kind regards.
    Wang

    Hi,
generally you can create a service which will implement ISchedulerTask (in NWDS create portal application object -> RF Component Wizard -> Scheduler Task Wizard). This service will be accesible in KM configuration so you can schedule it as you wish. This service will "cache" the data for your sitemap iview.
Alternatively you can create a "standard" service, which will fetch the data in periodic intervals. In run method of the service you use something like this:
    while (true) {
      try {
        Thread.sleep(WAITINTERVALINMILISECONDS);
      } catch (Exception ex) {
// now call the method for fetching
// the data for your sitemap...
    Hope this helps a bit,
    Romano
