Schema doesn't belong to the control center when trying to deploy a mapping

I tried to deploy a mapping to a locale environment where OWB is installed on the same instance than the source and target environment. Then I tried to deploy the same objects to another instance on another machine.
It appears that when trying to compile the package, the following function contains objects that doesn't exist in the db: FUNCTION Main(p_env IN WB_RT_MAPAUDIT.WB_RT_NAME_VALUES) RETURN NUMBER;
Does anyone have a solution?
Laurent.

Hi Laurent.
To create a runtime repository, you must run "OWB Runtime Assistant", installed togheter with OWB Client. Go to Start -> Programs -> Oracle - OWB_HOME -> Warehouse Builder -> OWB Runtime Assistant.
But if I understood you correctly... are you able to deploy objects such as dimensions and tables but you cannot deploy your mappings? Is that true?
Read the "Implementing a Remote Runtime" section in OWB install guide. Maybe you can find some pointers there.

  • Why doesn't my music work in the control center for iPhone 5 iOS 7?

    Yesterday I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 and it was working fine with no problems, but today when i tried to play music using the control center, it wouldn't play anything at all. I tried looking it up and I couldn't find anything about it. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a fix for this?

    Okay, so I set the radio mode to 802.11n (802.11b/g compatible) and tried to see if my ATV recognized this. At first it did not... At first it picked up the network, then told me my password was wrong (which I knew was not). Then I tried again, same password, and it told me to make sure my connection was set up...it was... then said there was an error. I got fed up, got out of wireless set up, and it says that I'm connected to my network with full bars. Okay, I was a little weirded out, but okay, then I go to youtube... "Content not available." Same thing with trailers and whatnot... restart the box... now everything seems to be gravy.. except for the fact that I am getting a very weak signal. A very substantial difference from when I set my airport to 802.11n (802.11a compatible), which makes my ATV sing, but does not work with the iphone... Did I lose you? Perhaps I got a p.o.s. ATV. Thanks.

  • Loading flat files located on a server using the Control Center piece ofOWB

    Loading flat files from a server with OWB
    I am successful loading files with OWB, as long as they resided on my workstation in the C:\ drive. I copied the files to a Linux server into directories owned by Oracle/oinstall, permissions on the directories containing the files are 777. I ran the OWB client from the server with the following results:
    Error

    I tried to load the file using the control center from both the windows client and the server client. Can I do this from either one?
    I can't import the file in the Design Center from the /u00/data/owb_repos1 directory, it does not show up.
    If anyone has received similiar errors from OWB, please tell me how I can fix this. THANKS!!!

    Hi
    This is what i do for my flat files (i am loading my tables from the flat files):
    1) Create location for the files in OWB and it should look something like \\path_to_where_the_files_are. Here you should be able to browse to your Linux box and select the location of the files.
    2) Then check whatever you use (i use TOAD) and you should see in owb schema a directory created there which points to the location of the flat file.
    3) then just follow the guide to sample the files etc and you are good to go.
    Basically OWB has to be able to see the files that are on Linux machine.
    Alternatively you can map your Linux share to your windows box (use samba or something) and use it that way.
    Sorry if it is stating the obvious.
    Hope this helps
    Kind Regards
    Vix

  • Add location services in the control center

    To save power I go into Settings and turn on/off the all the Location Services.  Is there any plans to add location services in the control center for quicker access?  Or is there something already in place?

    There is nothing in place. How is turning off location services saving you power? It doesn't use any unless you are using it. However, if you feel strong about it, you can make a suggestion to Apple feedback HERE and click on the appropriate link.

  • Iphone 5s, Wifi grayed and not related to the control center swipe

    Since yesterday my Iphone 5s stopped working with wifi, it grayed out. I could set it on in the control center, but it doesn't turn it on in the settings.
    After sometime it got back to work in the settings, but even when its on there, the relation with the control center is gone, I can turn it on or off there that nothing happens
    What can I do??
    Thanks

    Have you tried resetting the phone? Press the sleep/wake button and the Home button together and hold them down until the Apple logo appears on the screen (10-15 secs), then let the two buttons go and allow phone to finish restarting. Then go into Settings/Wi-Fi and set it on, then check Control Center.

  • After downloading iOS 7 on iPhone 5 the control center won't open.

    When I swipe up from the bottom, nothing happens. Both of the control center options are enabled in the settings. Help!

    Do you have a bulky case with an edge near the bottom of the screen?
    Lots of people describe this problem with Otterbox Defender and other thick cases.

  • HT4623 Why can't I access the Control Center in iOS 7?

    Swiping up does not bring up the Control Center. Also, the phone is locked in the vertical position. How can I get back the functionality of having it change orientations?
    c

    Do you have a case on your phone? You have to swipe up from the very bottom edge of screen, and some cases are a tad too large to enable you to do that. Try taking off the case to see if you can swipe up.
    Once you get there, you may see that the Orientation lock is highlighted, which means it is locked. Tap it to allow you to swith between portrait and landscape.

  • HT5858 My iphone  4 has iOS 7, and the flashlight feature use to be in the control center however just recently I've noticed that it has disappeared, how do i get it back?

    My iphone 4 used to have the flashlight feature in the control center. It obviously has iOS 7 in fact iOS 7.0.4 and now there is no flashlight icon in the control center, how do I get it back?

    Thanks a lot!!! I honestly feel like that was the simplest thing ever and that I should've thought of atleast turning my phone off then back on again but again, thanks!!

  • I can't change music from the control center.

    I just got the iOS 7 update for my iPhone 4S and think its great. The only problem is that when I go to change/stop/play a song in the control center, it wont let me. Although, I can still adjust the volume?!? I am so confused.

    Hello Gonzoboy11,
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
    First I would recommend that you restart your iPhone:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
    After the device has turned off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
    From: iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

    If the issue persists, then I would backup and restore the iPhone.

  • HT5858 In the control center I can change the mute or the rotation but not both.  How do I fix this.  In settings I can not uncheck both the mute and rotation lock.

    In the control center I can change the mute or the rotation but not both.  In the settings area therefore I can't uncheck the mute and rotation settings at the same time.

    Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
    If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Node doesn't belong to the current document and Invalid UTF8 encoding errors

    Hi
    I'm creating a XSQL page that calls a PL/SQL procedure:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <page xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql" connection="sgvrt">
    <xsql:include-owa>xml_indicadores_epm;</xsql:include-owa>
    </page>
    When I run the page I get:
    Node doesn't belong to the current document.
    if I use "<include-xml>" I get the following error:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?>
    <page>
    <xsql-error action="xsql:include-xml">
    <message>Invalid UTF8 encoding.</message>
    </xsql-error>
    </page>
    The XML page generated is well formed and it sends "test/xml; charset="ISO-8859-1" myme type. I test it in IE and it runs fine. I wrote a simple procedure that generates a simple one tag XML file and I still get the same errors.

    Thanks for the reply
    We've tried using the encoding attribute (encoding="ISO-8859-1") but it generates the same errors. We're using XSQL that comes with 9iAS 1.0.2.2.2a. We also tried with XSQL that comes with Oracle 9.2.0. It seems that the parser is not detecting if the XML document has a different encoding than UTF8.

  • Node Doesn't Belong to the Current Document

    Hi,
    We have a strange Production issue with the rtfProcessor API. We are using the XMLP Java API's to produce XSL-FO from RTF files in 5.6.1 (11.5.10CU1). This process has been working sucessfully in a couple of test environments.
    When we convert the rtf template to xsl-fo we receive the following error:
    ORACLE.XML.PARSER.V2.XMLDOMEXCEPTION: NODE DOESN'T BELONG TO THE CURRENT DOCUMENT
    This only occurs when we use last page support in the rtf template and only in Production.
    <?start@last-page-first:body?> <?end body?>
    We believe that the issue is environment specific. As far as we
    can tell 5.6.1 is correctly installed in production. There were no errors in the patch installation log and the metalink note to determine the version reports it is 5.6.1.
    Has anyone come across this error before? Any pointers on what to check?
    Thanks
    Paul

    This was fixed longtime back,
    some issue with xmlparserv2.zip,
    prepend the xmlparser classpath and bounce the port would solve i guess.

    I cannot find the AirPlay icon for the life of me. I have iOS 7.0.2 on my iPad Mini. Connected to my WiFi network just fine. I swipe up to get to the control center badges and all I see is the AirDrop icon. Trying to disable mirroring on ipad for Netflix streaming and don't know what to do. Any luck out there?

    If you last used an Apple TV to mirror your device and have updated to the newest Apple TV software, go into settings and turn airplay back on. The icon should then appear on your iPad mini when you swipe up allowing you to disable it for Netflix. After updating my Apple TV software for some reason it turned airplay off.

  • When I swipe up to get the control center on my iPad I can't find the airdrop option

    When I swipe up to get the control center on my iPad I can't find the airdrop option - I see airplay, but no airdrop

    Pay attention to the models of the ipads. For example, my ipad 2 can't and won't ever have airdrop. So if you have an older one that could be why you can't see it.
