Schema problem. Urgent

Hi Guys,
I stumble across a problem and would like to seek your opinion and advise:
I have a schema A.
I created a DBMS job 'DB_job_A' in schema A. (The schema A should be the owner of the DBMS job)
I then, migrated the schema A to schema B.
But the problem is, when I deleted the 'DB_job_A' in schema B, it will delete the 'DB_job_A' in schema A. What is going on!?

Color Scheme Problems in Ultiboard

Hi, I've been having trouble with the color scheme problems in Ultiboard ever since I upgraded form 10.0 to 10.1. The color schemes will not save in Ultiboard 10.1, even with the new patch 10.1.0.1, this problem is persistant.
Here's the problem in detail:
In global Preferences, I click on "Colors", and then New Scheme, give it a name, and I define my colors. However, when I open a new file, the colors are reverted to the default. When I check the preferences again, the name that I have given to my color scheme is labeled as "User settings", and they are the same as the default colors.
This is really annoying as every time I open a file, I have to change the color schemes. It seems like these settings are not being saved in the user-configuration file for some reason or another.
I have tried deleting my user-config file in the user directories, and started new user-config files, but to no avail, the problem is persistent. The color just will not stay.
How do I get around this problem?

I try to login the visual admin again and gives me the following error: "Cannot open connection on host: 191.9.6.22 and port: 50004"
Looking the log and trace files i see the following errors:

DATE FIELD PROBLEMS - URGENT

I´m having trouble with FormsCentral.
My form is running about 8 months with no problems.
Yesterday people started to complain that the system doesn´t accept any date.
That means the date field restricts date entries, from date dd/mm/aaaa (brazilian format) to another dd/mm/aaaa, but every date that users input in, is considered by the system as invalid, even it´s a correct and valid date right between the interval specified!
I need Help Urgent!!!
I depend on these forms to finish the payrol service from here.

It look like the system accepts just dates starting from the date of today.

It looks like the system have some problem just with the date 20/10/2013?!
I´ve fixed the problem change the interval from 20/10/2013 to another date and used 21/10/2013 to another date and it works!
But I think something is wrong with the 20/10/2013 date?!
To reproduce the erros just create a new form with date feature with this exaclty configurations and the bug appears:

DEPLOY PROBLEM URGENT

Hi,
using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 ADF BC & JSF. Until today we have deployed all our applications to: Standalone Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control 10.1.3.1.0 throught JDeveloper, I would right click on web.xml, create War deployment profile... and then right click test.deploy and Deploy to AppServer, and everything worked fine.
But today we tried to move to:
Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control 10.1.2.0.2
Supported Target Application Servers 10.1.2.0.2
and we cannot deploy any of our applications through JDeveloper, so we tried to do it manually through OC4J Home -> Applications -> Deploy WAR file... browsed and selected test.war entered Application Name and Map to URL... and got following error:

I don't know what changes need to be done in my applications (which files to modify) to be able to deploy to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control 10.1.2.0.2, if anyone has any suggestion or knows what should be done please help, this is quite urgent & important since we plan to migrate all of our applications to this new application server.

So far what I gathered from the link you posted and tried:

I cannot find the version 1.4.0. so I've downloaded j2sdk1.4.0_04 and installed it.
To configure JDeveloper to build projects with JDK 1.4:
1.Install J2SE 1.4 on the machine running JDeveloper.
2.Configure JDeveloper with the J2SE 1.4 that you installed:
a.In JDeveloper, choose Tools > Manage Libraries. This displays the Manage Libraries dialog.
b.In the Manage Libraries dialog, choose the J2SE Definitions tab.
c.On the right-hand side, click the Browse button for the J2SE Executable field and navigate to the J2SE_1.4/bin/java.exe file, where J2SE_1.4 refers to the directory where you installed J2SE 1.4.
d.Click OK.
3.Configure your project to use J2SE 1.4:
a.In the Project Properties dialog for your project, select Libraries on the left-hand side.
b.On the right-hand side, click the Change button for the J2SE Version field. This displays the Edit J2SE Definition dialog.

When you run an Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3 application using the Embedded OC4J server, the application is configured for JDK 1.5. If you then try to switch to JDK 1.4, you will see JSP compile failures. To remedy this you need to force the application files to be re-compiled when OC4J is restarted with JDK 1.4. To configure Embedded OC4J to JDK 1.4:
1.Configure JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 according to the steps above.
2.Stop the embedded OC4J server instance.
3.Delete the following directory:
ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/instance/application-deployments ( I guess this is the following directory: C:\JDeveloper\jdev\system\oracle.j2ee.10.1.3.41.57\embedded-oc4j\application-deployments)
4.Start the embedded server again.

In the document you linked to, it says:

but we're not using third party app servers since this is not standalone version, we used tomcat before, now colleague that installed OAS told me it doesn't use third party app servers.
What do you mean by this:
"If you did try including the ADF logger library in your deployment file."
How do I do that?
So now I cannot run embbed app server and test locally using j2sdk1.4.0_04 no matter what I try, and still no luck with deploy. I'm afraid that if I cannot do this with newly created test apps without any complexity, what kind of problems will I have to deal with real production apps...

Pricing problem-Urgent

Hi all,
iam getting a problem regarding pricing.
When i make a Sales doc. with reference to an invoice,
everything is being copied from invoice to the sales doc.-customer, material and its no. , sales area, payment terms, incoterms, and material qty. also.
But the pricing of the invoice is not getting copied on to the sales doc.
I have maintained all checks available in the sales doc. type and the item category of the sales doc. type i.e
Pricing: X
and then in OVKK , i have maintained the doc. pric. procedure of the sales doc. type with the pricing procedure of the invoice
and again in the copy control measures, i have maintained
Pricing type: D
But i still not able to copy pricing procedure from the invoice to the Sales doc.
I want the soltn. urgently.

Jaxb & XML & encoding problem                      *URGENT*

***Do not be scared because of the length of the question please. I tried to explain problem clearly.***
I am developing a Web service for a particular client. The client has provided .wsdl and some .xsd files for me.
I used JWSDP-2.0 to generate holder classes from those .xsd files. In order to specify the root elemnen, I added "@XmlRootElement" annotation in front of the ServiceInfo class (, and also imported "javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlRootElement"). I am using Eclipse in this project.
I prepared the Web service exactly as specified by the client, but when I test it with the client the client application cannot show the XML data that it receives as a response to its request. The client application opens a file, writes the XML response to that file and also shows the response on the client application window. However, that file is always empty and I see nothing on the client application window. I do not have the client application's source code, but I do know that client application has no bug.
NOTE: I have a guideline for developing the Web Service for this particular client and it says there: "ServiceInfo is transfered as a Unicode string, and then encoded as UTF-16."
(Actually I don't know whether this is the reason of my problem but it is still sth that should be known I guess.)

Media reconnection problem URGENT!

I am in a very urgent situation.
Working on a feature length project and today after opening 2 sequences I was working on yesterday I had to relink media, because my scratch disks were not connected.
While relinking, final cut pop up says that some clips' media start & end has changed , continue with relinking or cancel. I had to continue work so I went on. Alas, now i am in front of a nightmare!
Both sequencies have been altered. In some areas the edits look the same but the content is different, in other areas cuts have been totaly removed.
please help.

Thank you for trying to help. These file were imported by log and capture and were atomaticaly converted to prores 422 LT. I did not mess around with file names, as the names were given during the log and transfer proccess.
This is definetely a final cut bug.
The problem dissapeared (not solved though, as the reasons remain unknown) with the folowing way:
a) I open one of the backed up files and looked at my rough cut wich consists of sequencies.
b) By playing the 2 specific sequencies on the rough cut, there was no error in the edit.
c) By opening these 2 sequencies on the project browser, there was a different edit !!!!
d) By going back to the rough cut and double clicking on the nested sequence, I could see the original edit.
e) Now I had one specific sequence in the timeline, the same name, the identical sequence, opened in two different tabs. In one tab (the sequence that i entered to through the rough cut) the edit was the original, in the other tab (the one that i opened through the project browser) the edit was distorted !!!
f) I copied the clips of the original edit to a newly created sequence.
g) I deleted the old- problematic sequence
h) i repeated the process with the second sequence that was altered by final cut on its own will.
I hope this will help someone in a similar situation and I keep this question as unsolved, because in reality noone really knows - until now- the reason for this situation. Thank god it was solved.

File Sender Filename scheme problem

we need to pick two types of files from the same folder on FTP server:
Examples of filenames are:
FILEINVRPT12_28102010.xml and FILESLSRPT12_28102010.xml
We tried to use Advanced selection of files for these two file types and the filename scheme used was
FILEINVRPT.xml in filename and FILESLSRPT.xml in Filename mask for Advanced selection
All files of type FILEINVRPT.xml have been picked up but FILESLSRPT.xml were not.
We tried to remove advanced selection and even used *.xml and . as filename scheme ,still these files aren't picked up.
Then we tried giving exact filename (hardcoded) for some of these files and they were picked up ,so there should be no problem with these files.
Can anyone please suggest what could be the reason for this strange behaviour?

Hi Shwetha,
As per my understanding, you need to pick two different files(not having same naming convension) from the same folder. I see that you are using Advanced selection for Source files.
This can be easily achieved, I have done it and providing you the steps to configure the adapter.
1. In the File Access parameters, provide the source directory and filename as FILE*.xml.
2. Now, check the option, advanced selection for source files.
provide the directory = 10.20.30.40
and the File Name Mask FILEINVRPT.xml, FILESLSRPT.xml
Ensure that the file placed in the FTP should have the same naming convension of the filename.

Using xml schema problem (SAP MDM 7.1 Syndicator)

I try to syndicate directory which correspond to some xml-schema and I have a problem.
I want to syndicate data from hierarchy table which have one field which have a type like lookup <Flat> (multivalued).
In XML-schema element "DEF_PRODUCT" and "DEF_PRODUCT_CODE" - attribute presents hierarchy table.
"CREDIT_PRODUCT" and childs presents linked flat table.
According idea and business rules I must get the result like this: each "DEF_PRODUCT" have N-"CREDIT_PRODUCT". One - to- many.
But when I set up all map completely and look to xml result file I start to be disappointed.
XML result file approximately must be like this:
<DEF_PRODUCT>
    <CREDIT_PRODUCT/>
    <CREDIT_PRODUCT/>
    <CREDIT_PRODUCT/>
</DEF_PRODUCT>
but in result I have all <CREDIT_PRODUCT> in one node and child attributes.

If SAP MDM will present many opportunities to me I will be very glad.

In tuple, after your advices.
Ideally, Syndicator must present to each user ability to choose pair "RemoteKey" = "RemoteSystem" in each subnode like <LookUp> table in root (look at my example pic).
Imagine you have one root table and N-linked <lookup> tables.

no compile error is thrown.

But the weird thing is that some of classes are not generated, for example SubmitReqType,

<xs:union memberTypes="xs:dateTime xs:duration"/>
i think that this union definition might cause problem but neither an error nor
a warning message is submitted from ant. It says successful but missing classes.

I guess my question is, what else do you have in the build.xml that uses (or attempts
to use) the autotype Ant task? Are you trying to build a client (i.e. a JAX-RPC
static stub) for a web service? Is this for a WebLogic Web Service you want to
build? Or are you just trying to see if autotype can process the .xsd file, in
question? If so, the above link states why it currently won't work.
One alternative option, is to use a Workshop Schema project (or XMLBeans) to process
the .xsd file. I just did that, and it worked fine :-)

MSI 6368 with USB problem (URGENT)

I have an urgent need to solve this problem.
Client has a computer based on this motherboard, with Celeron 1.1 Ghz, WIN 98 Second Edition.
The USB port works with a Microsoft mouse. Client tries to install a Canon digital camera (D60), but the USB port cannot see the camera.
Is there something I should be doing?

try a different cable? Not sure about Canon but they might need a program that they supply with the camera to move the files off of the camera. Sort of like MP3 players and how they ship with their own proprietary software to move files onto the player and etc.

My query is similar to the above one. And this query is part of Cursor defination in a Procedure. So when i try to compile the procedure it gives me error like
PDE-USW002 The source of the stored program unit source is incomplete.
QUESTION IS HOW TO AVOID THE ERROR. Because if i remove the hint this statement takes about 21 mins, if I put the hint it runs in 30 seconds. So I need the hints put in place badly . Please suggest something . This is very urgent .

If that is really what is causing the problem and it won't compile in Forms Builder, then about the only way would be to create a server-side package/procedure, and call the procedure from the form and do the work on the server, and pass back the results to the form via parameters in the procedure call.
