SCHEMA showing max amount of connections

Hi,
I hope this (Database-General) was the correct forum with which to post this topic. If not, let me know, and I'll repost elsewhere.
I'm not the DBA of our Oracle server, but I was wondering if there's a way -- I suppose at the SQL Plus prompt -- to determine what the schema is configured for with regards to the maximum amount of active connections allowed?
Having some difficulty, and I'm not sure that even a connection pooling config with the Java portion will properly address it.

Not sure if it was a problem pertinent to the driver I had configged in some of the connection objects I made in my Java pages and servlets, or just an error stemming from too many people trying to connect with a given account.
I use 9i, but you're right, I likely need to talk to the DBA. They're up in the northeast (US) and I've emailed them to inquire.
Basically, some people could get connected, while others got a timeout error.

Imaqdx multiple cameras show as Local Area Connections in System tray, but only one shows up in MAX.

I have two GigE cameras (Pulnix 4200GE) in my system, each having it's own NI GigE Vision Adapter. The adapters show up in Network Connections and in the system tray as "Local Area Connection" (LAC) and "Local Area Connection 2" (LAC2). However, I can only see one camera at a time in MAX. If I start with both adapters disabled, then enable LAC followed by LAC2, I see one camera (cam0), then both (cam1 shows up) but about 6 seconds later the second camera (cam1) disappears! If I enable the adapters in the reverse order (LAC2 followed by LAC), only cam0 shows up. I can see each camera alone by disabling the other adapter but I cannot get them both to stick around.
There is also an anomoly in the MAX display of the cameras. If I right-click the camera in the NI-IMAQdx folder the context menu has a 'Camera->' sub-menu which shows both cameras even if one has had its adapter disabled. And regardless of which camera I see (cam0 or cam1) the list shows the same camera is checked. This is in conflict with the data showed in the Camera Information tab of the attributes pane in MAX, which shows a different camera (ID'd from the serial number) based upon which one shows up in the folder list. And changing the selection check-marked in the 'Camera->' sub-menu has no effect on the information displayed in the attributes pane.
I have followed the troubleshooting guide and they are both DHCP-enabled and have Auto private addressing enabled. I have updated the Adapter drivers. This is a NI PXI system running Win XP.

If you are running Windows XP you need to go to the network settings tab in Windows and bridge the two "NI Gige Vision Adapter" ports together (select both, right click and select option to bridge network adapters). This is due to a deficiency in Windows XP where multiple adapters within the same logical subnet (the link local address space, in this case) are not able to be used independently for broadcast traffic. This workaround is not needed on Windows Vista or later.
The details you are seeing by right-clicking the camera in MAX is the list of camera files (saved settings) that can be associated with the camera. You probably have two because both were visible at one point or another to IMAQdx and so unique ones were created. They are probably both associated with the same camera file because if they are both the same model name we have some logic that assumes that if one is removed and a new one is attached, to use the previous camera file. This only happens in certain circumstances---normally if you start with one camera and add a second (or start with two) they will both get unique files created to store their settings. In your case you can use MAX to set the correct association as needed.

In the Accounting entry generated for billing documents (doc type RV)
the sales accout with posting key 50 is showing +ve amount ! which
normally should show -ve amount. Due to this he accounting entry looks
unbalanced !

Hi,
Can you specify where do you see these signs? The amounts are stored in table for accounting document only with positive signs, with no connection to posting key. The sign is determined by debit/credit field (SHKZG).

when i increse the max no of connections from 1 to 5 , i am getting the following errors, i saw we can give up to 50. why it is not taking more than 1.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.
Would you please help me out? I would really appreciate it.

My iPhone 5c won't connect to home internet. I have an Actiontec router and my phone shows that I'm connected but no IP address comes up on my phone and Safari and other Apps state that I'm not connected to the internet.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Given the state your device is in you have already erased your old stuff. You have an image on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes." That's what the image means. So you will need iTunes on your computer.

Losing network connection on T61 but still showing that I am connected

Hello All,
I am having network connection issues with my T61. On any network I connect to, my downloads will randomly stop, or videos I am watching will stop loading, same with online radio, etc...
The connection will resume after about 30 seconds of being lost but is a major pain especially if I am on a vpn and have to log back in.
My network connection never reports any problems and the icons still show that I am connected.
I have reinstalled all my drivers, ran multiple spyware/virus detection, and tried to trace my network activity with no luck.
The interesting part is that if I am using skype voice my issues disappear. It seems as though the deluge of packets sent by skype forces my connection to stay alive.
Any thoughts? (other than talk to someone on skype all day)

Make sure data roaming and cellular data is turned off. If you don't want to receive calls or SMS then put your phone in airplane mode and reactivate WiFi

Also when I am trying to connect ipad to my windows PC, it shows, your software is up to date and later starts restoring while updating again. Then automatically it stops to update halfway and I have to repeat the process again and again, still in vain.
