Schnellerer Start einer Fotoschau bei WEB-Download

Guten Tag,
mit Adobe PhotoShop habe ich eine FotoSchau von ca. 40 Bildern, die einen kompletten Sonnenaufgang am Meer zeigen, erzeugt und zum Webserver hochgeladen. Die .pdf-Datei hat ca. 9.5 MB Grösse.
Wenn ich die Fotoschau zum Download anklicke (ich habe DSL1000) dauert es gute 1 1/2 Minuten bis die Schau startet. Vorher tut sich auf dem leeren Browser-Fenster gar nichts, kein Fortschrittsbalken oder dgl.
Plötzlich öffnet sich der Adobe Reader 7.0 und die Schau beginnt. Der Ablauf ist dann zügig und entspricht genau der von mir gewünschten Zeit - ungefähr 1 zu 1 mit dem natürlichen Ablauf des Sonnenaufgangs.
Was kann ich tun, daß nach dem Download-Start sofort die ersten Bilder gezeigt werden, während die nachfolgenden Bilder geladen werden? Die Schau als solche dauert (bei DSL1000) ungefähr genauso lang wie das Download vom Server, sodaß hier ein passendes Zeitfenster wäre.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit dafür einen Schalter zu setzen?

The 'splash' screen might be of interest to you.
Here is the quick description from the FAQ.

Section 3.5 of the JNLP Spec. has more details on using a splash screen for an application.
(But if you mean changing the very first screen seen when downloading an application the first time, the answer is 'no'.)

By the way - now I review your question, I note you stress 'while jars are downloading'.
There is another strategy you might take. Mark most of the application jar's as 'lazy' download, get the main GUI on-screen quickly, then use the JNLP API's DownloadService to fetch the rest of the jars, after the application is running.
This has the advantage that, then we can have complete control of whatever is shown on the screen during the bulk of the downloads. We might show ..a 'splash screen', or a dialog with the application name on it, or a progress dialog, ..or any combination of the three.

Ich habe ein Backup meiner Foto-Dateien auf einer externen Festplatte. Beim Start des PC versucht der Foto-Downloader diese (zigtausend) Dateien immer wieder zu laden. Das nervt und verursacht gelegentlich Ausnahmefehler. Wie kann man bei Foto-Downloader bestimmte Ordner vom automatischen laden ausschließen ?

CS3 startet aber läd nicht bis zum Ende. Ich kann CS3 nur zwangsweise beenden. Wenn ich im Diagnosig mode starte läd CS3. Woran kann das liegen?
Alle anderen Programme funktioniern. Win XP SP2 ist ganz frisch aufgesetzt.

Hallo, hier moechte ich mal gerade mal "einmischen", auch wenn ich mit Photoshop CS2 (Mac) arbeite. Habe auch dieses Problem. Sobald die Twain Plugins geladen werden bricht der Startvorgang bei mir ab. Hatte mal eine Scannersoftware installiert und wieder deinstalliert. Koennte es vielleicht damit zu tun haben. Es erscheint auch immer ein Fehlerbericht mit dem ich leider nicht anfangen kann.

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

How to start a process via web service with automatically run first screen

Hi guys,
we want to start the process via web service and skip the inbox presentation of the first human activity of the process. It means that the first activity should start automatically by clicking the link (wsdl link).
Is there any opportunity to realize this thought?

Could not start the hyperion workspace-web application Error 1067

Hi,
I have installed hyperion from scratch in a distributed environment...everything was working fine.......i.e. shared services, workspace, essbase, sql server, and hfm. I was able to logon and navigate different options in the hyperion products...but essbase stopped working when I re-started all four servers ....?
(1) When I restarted all four servers and stopped and restarted all hyperion services as per giving sequence then everything works fine but essbase EAS console and workspace web console...i was getting error message " could not connect to administration server" whenever i try to connect EAS console to essbase then I went to services there I saw workspace agent and workspace web application service is down.
(2) as soon as I started those both services then my shared services automatically stopped but I was able to logon in Essbase console and workspace console but my shared services are down...
(3) as soon as I start shared service they started but my workspace agent and workspace web application automatically stopped...and when I try to start again workspace web application then I get this error "[ Could not start the hyperion workspace-web application services on local computer. Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly]"
I have been searching online and googling but have a hard luck to get some best solution for this...can some one help me or guide me to walk through with this issue...

I solved this issue...It was with Hyperion Services those were stop responding some how.....but I stopped each service and restarted then those started working again...

I got the solution how to start EM in Webcenter .
If in your configuration is there any other HTTP server is running then its comfilect with your current Webcenter with HTTP server installation. so try to installed only Oracle Webcenter Freamwork only...after that try to open the Application server control page with 8888, it will definately work...

I started setting up a web page with iWeb. Auto play box is checked, but music will not play when page is opened.

Several proplems so far:
1) Auto Play box checked for music, but music does not start when page is opened.
2) Can't get Quicktime "start/stop" slide to start and finish a section within a long piece of music (classical for example). How does one work the slide bar to do this?

Yes the audio file plays on the iWeb page when I click the play button. I even made sure it played both without the “little boxes” that surround the icon (don’t know the technical name for those), and when I click the music icon without the little boxes.
I did note that the iTunes window that appears when I open the Inspector is not highlighted until I click the music icon and those little boxes appear. Then the Start/Stop, Auto Play, Loop, and Show Movie Controller are highlighted — and work properly.
One other thing. I see that the iWeb icon I am working from says “Domain copy.sites2.” Does that have a bearing on anything?

After setting up a Bridge gallery on a web page, how do you make the thing autoplay or auto start upon opening the web page? I can't find a setting in Bridge when setting up the gallery, and I can't seem to find my answer anywhere with an internet search.
