Schriftschnitte nicht auswählbar? CS6, Win

Hallo,
ich habe eine kurze Nachfrage zu InDesign CS6 unter Windows 7:
Wenn man die Schrift-Familie über das Steuerungs-Bedienfeld auswählt, hat man unter hier nicht die Möglichkeit, auch direkt die Schriftschnitte auszuwählen.
Ist das generell der Fall oder ist dies eine "Einstellung"? Falls ja, wo kann man das einrichten
Hintergrund:
Unter Mac OS ist dies generell möglich(siehe Screenshots: li. CC Mac, re. CS6 Mac)
Auch in InDesign CC unter Windows hat man die Möglichkeit über ein kleines Dreieck-Icon die Schriftschnitt einzublenden.

Seit ein paar Tagen hat das kleine Dreieck mit dem ich bisher immer auf die Liste meiner Brushes zugreifen konnte scheinbar seine Funktion verloren, ich kann draufklicken ohne dass etwas passiert.
Ich habe schon versucht meine Pref-Dateien von Photoshop aus beim starten sowie von Hand zu löschen, Photoshop zweimal neu installiert sowie auf die neueste verfügbare Version (7.0.1?) gepatcht... noch immer nichts.
Das Ganze lief noch bevor ich zwei neue Brushes heruntergeladen habe und dann Photoshop geöffnet habe um sie zu verwenden.

Wir haben ein Problem mit InDesign. Bestimmte Werkzeuge können nicht ausgeführt werden,
weil sie nicht angeklickt werden können. Die Fenster und die
Aktivierungsflächen liegen zum Teil nicht übereinander. Kurioserweise tritt
dieses Problem nicht auf, wenn wir uns via DameWare auf den Rechner verbinden.
Deshalb nehmen wir an, dass es an Monitoreinstellungen oder der Grafikkarte liegen
könnte. Jedoch halfen weder neue Treiber noch diverse Einstellungsänderungen an
Monitor und Karte.
Fehlende Lizenzen oder eine falsche InDesign Version kommen
auch nicht in Fragen.

Mac Mini zweites internes Laufwerk über Sidebar nicht wählbar

Ich habe in meinem Mac Mini ein zweites internes Laufwerk. Nachdem es lange problemlos lief ist es nun im Finder ausgegraut und nicht auswählbar. Allerdings kann ich über "Gehe zu" und den Pfad /Volumes/{Laufwerk} problemlos auf die Daten zugreifen.
Die Rechtereparatur in der Festplattenverwaltung habe ich schon ausprobiert. Ebenso die Reparaturoptionen. Nichts hat geholfen.
Mit der Testversion vom Pathfinder kann ich das Laufwerk ebenso wie über das Terminal problemlos nutzen. Auch Anwendungssoftware wie iTunes greift ohne Probleme auf die Platte zu.

Sounds like each time you restart, the Mac OS rebuilds itself giving you the expected results for completing your objective of burning an iDVD, which makes sense. What doesn't make sense is what is currently causing your G4 to crash each time you ask it to burn a DVD forcing a restart in order to accomplish this task....assuming it does indeed burn to disc.
Here's what I recommend since I suspect you may be having an issue with external devices. Disconnect any and all externals from your emac (except the keyboard and mouse). Launch iMovie. Build a short 3 min. iMovie project and share it to iDVD6. Post back with the results and let us know if your mac encounters the same results w/o any externals connected to your mac.
If your ext. device is what you are currently using to burn your project, then i'd recommend burning this short project to a disc image first and thereafter connecting the ext. fw burner to complete the final stage.

Photoshop CS6 -Win, original purchased disc does not work. What are the options ?

After spending a frustrating hour trying to make sense of this issue and making phone calls to the appropriate number, I still have a non-working CD version of Photoshop CS6/Win that will not load. The disc is obviously corrupted. What happens now, as this program is now required. This place appears to be the only way I can get any assistance from Adobe regarding this issue.

Just upgraded from Illustrator cs5 to cs6 WIN (not cloud) and all my fonts did not transfer..only have Myriad.

To confirm, al songs are already in your iTunes library of current computer, and they all play using iTunes (on the computer)?
And you are saying all the songs you purchased from the iTunes Store can be synced to the nano without any problems? But NONE of the other songs (that are NOT from the iTunes Store) can be synced to the nano, or SOME of them?

How do I download and re-install Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Premium CS6 Win?

Downloaded from Adobe site (Download CS6 products). Downloaded both File 1 and 2 Design and Web, English version. Both files are on my desktop in the same folder. Do I just need to run the .exe (file 2) to install CS6 (just thought to ask/ maybe try that)? I have my serial number I can enter once it is downloaded.

Trouble installing CS6 (Win) from DVD -- no Set-up.exe on DVD

I am trying to install my new CS6 (Win) off of DVD. Inserted DVD and nothing happened (no automatic install start). Read PDF instructions which said to click on Set-up.exe file to get things going. Guess what, no Set-up.exe that I could find (not in root directory at least).
What now?

Panel fails to load on ID CS6, Win 7/8

Hi All,
I am developing a Flex extension for InDesign CS6 using Flash Builder 4.6, Extension Builder 2.1. The UI is simple, just contains a button. On the application complete, I just initialize an object of a class. My problem is that sometimes, the button on the panel just doesn't load. For eg., if I close the ID application without closing the panel, and then re-open the application, normally, the panel should load fine with its components. But here, the button is not visible. I have to close the panel, and then re-open it to get the button to load. There is no specific pattern. I tried finding out the problem by setting up alerts in the pre-initialize, initialize, creation complete and app complete events. But these events are not triggered.
On further testing, I found that if the panel is moved (eg. dragging the panel using the mouse), the panel loads instantly. Is there a bug in InDesign CS6, beacuse the extension loads just fine in other versions? Also, this problem occurs in Win 7 and 8. It works fine on Win XP. The one in Mac OS loads fine.
Anything I can do to fix it?

I am still stuck with this problem.
I created a new sample project for ID CS6 in Flash Builder 4.6. It has a button in the panel. I added a function call to the applicationComplete event for the panel. But I don't get any call.
I added function calls to all the events below:
- preinitialize
- initialize
- creationComplete
- applicationComplete
But, I do not get any callbacks to these functions.

What is going wrong?

Error: Could not save "file name" because the file name was not valid. (PS CS6 + WIN 7)

I have recently purchased a new desktop under WIN 7 as well as Adobe Creative Suite CS6.
My first internal hard disk is 2 TB, the second one installed is from my old PC, 250 GB.
I am getting this error when trying to save a file over an existing file using the “Save” command.
The message is wrong, because the file name IS valid.
This error is persistent.
This error does not occur when doing the same action on my second internal hard disk.
This error happens on files larger than about 1MB in weight.
What happens is that the original file over which I try to do the ”Save” command gets corrupted and lost.
If I don't use the “Save as” command to save my work under a different name, my work is lost.
The same problem occurs with both PS CS6 versions, 64 Bit and 32 Bit.
I am very disappointed and annoyed with this happening.
Any idea what is going on here?

I think I have resolved this.
I forgot to mention that I have Sugarsync over that file structure.
However, I do not know if Sugarsync has anything to do with the error.
I copied the whole folder structure under a newly created folder, and I am no longer getting the error.

Convert Adobe Illustrator CS6 Win license into Mac license

Dear All,
some time ago I've purchased Adobe Illustrator CS5 as well as CS6 upgrade Win. Now I converted from Windows 7 to Mac OS X Maverics.
On the page "My Products and Services" along with the serial numbers the Adobe Illustrator CS5 and CS6 Upgrade have as platform in both cases "Win" instead of "Mul". How can I get the "Mac" versions in conjunction with these Serial numbers?
I'm aware that it is still possible to run the Windows versions within Parallels 10 (Windows Emulation within Mac OS X), but I think this is no good solution.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
